  • What ever secondary action it is then you have it set to when using a medkit with Syptic Agent just press it while healing yourself and you will active the effect

  • The only time I consider someone is "sweaty" or "try harding" which is not bad to be trying to win btw, but if is like lets say in normal game one survivor DC's or loses connection for some reason and the killer suddenly decided to play sweaty in a situation unless they play suboptimaly or have a truly terrible map then I might consider it sweaty but even then I don't get bothered by it.

In the Dedicated Servers, can you use it while you are uninjured? So it will prevent instadowns?

Or can you still use it only for injured self / other survivors, which means its almost entirely useless most of the time?

For both new Syptic Agent and Needle you have to be injured in order to heal yourself and use M2 (Or R1 on controllers)

Moldy Electrode base kit, for one.

I second this, his basic shock range is pretty terrible any exact numbers on how long it is basekit?

  • Ah yes more like "It Just Works" as they seem to adopted Bethesdia's model of game design.

  • From footage I seen of the game (Haven't played it at all) he seem just like generic big scary monster dude, even then his power would also probably be generic so probably not.

(I was tempted to tag bug in this post but decided against it)

Honestly dbd would not be dbd if their wasn't a single new bug every new update.

They do. As that's how gens mostly pop. Especially during chases.

Maps don't need much changes except maps like Blood Lodge, The Game and maybe Hawkins.

A lot of the lower tier killers are lacking in either map pressure, mobility or chase potential. They will need more than "just a few buffs"...

Can I hear some of your buff suggestions by any chance?

"Maps don't need much changes except maps like Blood Lodge, The Game and maybe Hawkins."

Have you forgotten Lery's, Shelter Woods and Haddonfield exist?

  • As survivor main I actually enjoy playing against Spirits but I do have some slight problems, First actually knowing when she's phase walking can be difficult to tell aside from her hair going up straight or her glowing glass shards when idle (Unless of course she's wearing different skins that can almost make it hard to tell like the recently released blight skin) so maybe make the idle animation more obvious?

Second I feel her being able to hear audio while on top of having collision with phase walking is kind of obsured to me, I don't mind it if they didn't but I like for collision to be disabled while phase walking as it actually forces you to listen closely.

Third for me and what seems to be most people's big issue is her add ons, recover and speed in particular are quiet strong even the yellow versions, and Prayer Beads can be nearly impossible to counter without running perks like Quick & Quiet, Dance With Me, Iron Will or just gen tapping as to not get grabbed which in the beginning of a match you wouldn't know if she's running it.

I'm not sure how they would go about with just Prayer Beads but as long they don't make it a trash and worthless very rare add on (I'm talking to you Frank's Mixtape) then I be more comfortable with facing spirits who do use add ons.

  • Thanks of the advice btw everyone, I will for now on do bones and try to sabo hooks whenever I de-rank

  • @TAG said:

I'd say it depends on the method and frequency. If you are deliberately playing meme/stupid builds to maximize your chance of getting killed, you are fine. If you are just letting the Killer get you so you can just die on the hook repeatedly, that can land you in hot water if your teammates think you are just screwing them over on purpose and thus report you.

So would a unhook build (Slippery Meat and Up The Anti) be an example of a meme build? Or would I need to go more extreme?

  • @darktrix said:

It is bannable, but the burden of proof is difficult. You are effectively screwing over other survivors turning the game into a 3v1 (which the match cancellation feature was created to avoid such matches) and they will no doubt remember you later. You even screw over the killer to some degree by denying them more than one hook.

You can still play the game and de-rank easily without screwing over others (as much).

With the way pipping works in this game I feel sometimes even if I do barely anything (Just being chased by the killer and doing just one gen and escaping) I will get a pip, any advice on how to play normally while still de-pipping?

  • @arslaN said:

It is fine if you literally can't find lobbies or if they take ages but try not to screw your teammates. You are basically making your teammates play a 3v1 match which is very annoying.

I'm glad to of done it as little as I can to stay at the green ranks, otherwise I am just gonna wait to play until the event starts then I'll accept myself to the purple and red ranks.

With that one you mean the generator room loop, right? That one's good but it's not a guaranteed spawn, and even the best setup there isn't an infinite as far as I'm aware.

I believe against certain killers with slower movement speed it actually becomes an infinite like Huntress, now it is true that it can sometimes spawn or not spawn but I still feel it can eat up the most time out of any other windows in the game for normal M1 killers.

  • @Lucama said:

So there's no true infinites anymore, especially now with the entity blocker on windows, but there's some loops that depending on the killer can let a surv continue for minutes at a time, especially if they also get a safe loop spawn next to it. Ironworks of misery ground floor window is probably the most famous one since it's a guaranteed spawn.

What about the window on Rancid?

*Hits an M1 as Legion and loses half my Power bar*

    *cries in Legion main*

As much I hated first release Legion, what they did with them now just shows how they are by far the worst designed killer in this game up their with Nurse, I just hope some rework can happen so I can actually be excited to face a Legion instead of being ResidentSleeper

  • Their can be 2 instances of camping like one said previously on this forum:

1: Camping with Insidious in the basement as LeatherFace: This is just gross and boring as both party's aren't having an engaging experience since the killer will just stand their for at most 2 minitues if the survivor dies on first hook which means no chases, and when the survivors discover this they will immediately ignore the hooked person and rush generators meaning no bold or altruism points and only in objective points.

2: When the exit gates are powered/open: This can be more fair as often in this case if the killer can't properly end chases fastly or doesn't have a one shot camping can at makes more sense as they can't stop the unhooked survivor from escaping unless no one body bocks or runs Borrowed Time.

Of course tunnling and camping are strategy's in the normal sense it just comes down to personal opinions and to me the first is boring and unfun af while the second one is at least understandable.

  • As one who's played on Xbox one for about 6 months (And now recently on switch) Is from my experience is on average very young adults or teens play on the console's compared to most PC players, they also are slightly less as good but really most survivors are avarage at best.

I just can't wait to get a PC and not have to deal with 30 fps and a controller.

OH MY GOD, just play legion or gg, legion is a great killer, even in the higher ranks, it just takes skill to take survivors down in the higher ranks, I seem to play them find, maybe you are just bad as them and dont know any way to play them so you simply dont like playing them because you cant get kills

Please my good sir tell me how I should play Legion, I seen how the others played Legion and is about as samey and dreadfully boring.

just do what Hexy does and moonwalk every chase :)

Easy man, just cheese the game to win with a bad killer 4Head

SWF > Killers > Solo Survivors

I'd still say if you had 4 competent solo players they are still quite a bit above killers.

Keep in mind a team win is 3 escapes. How often do you go against definite solo players, and they get at least 3 escapes?

That's because they're usually bad, not because of balance. If I solo loop a killer for 5 gens at rank 1 regularly, there's an issue. This isn't me bragging either, it's easy and happens a lot.

What if you’re just better than the killer? Also, forgot to add those stats are at rank 1

It's not a skill issue on his part, there's nothing he can do besides giving up on me and going somewhere else. The only way my loops aren't succeeding is if "I" mess up. Killers success is much more dependent on survivor mistakes than it is them. There's only so much they can do.

I feel like that’s not much the case ANYMORE (vacuum is gone, pallets are tweaked) it’s just that if the survivor makes a mistake, they get injured, if killer does, it’s another 30 seconds of loop.

Those pallet tweaks weren't that significant to change much of anything. Just means if he plays well I may just get 1 less loop since i can't cut it as close and rely on the vacuum anymore.

It’s just, I get to rank 1 and don’t dodge swf all the time. I’ve been 5 gen looped (it WAS SWF) once, as perkless leatherface. 5 streamers too. But I’ve only suffered absolute loss once. While I’ve wiped with little to no gens done several times

That's simply because the average survivor sucks. If you put the best survivor against the best killer, the killer will always lose. There are a lot more terrible survivors than there are killers.

Ah yes because the best survivor always beats the best killers all the time...

Good god, for once @Orion, @Tsulan and myself are all on the same page, this thread makes me facepalm hard.
If we all agree on something the thread must be dumb.

After reading what the OP wrote, I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

    This is ridiculous.
You have to wonder though, does OP always DC as survivor when he gets caught and misses his DS, or as killer there hex gets bad spawn and is removed within 10 seconds and then DC'S? Or this guy's just a massive troll.
  • You people do realize besides looping or hiding (Mind you it don't work half the time and you need spesfic perks like Iron Will/Urban Evasion ect) there's not a hole lot a survivor can do to evade a killer during a chase. I say this as both a killer/survivor player in which I only see looping as a legitimate tactic just as tunneling, camping or slugging is a tactic for killers, if you don't like any of these when they happen to you maybe this is just not the game for you, or just do what others on here have and get used to it. Now I still think SB and DS are cheap but there manageable if you know what your doing.
  • Seeing or knowing a Nurse at the start of the game can truly scare me cause it can only mean one of two thing's the first I always hope is true, they are playing her for first time and are bad, or are godlike with downs as fast as six seconds in my case. Just the unpredictably of where something will come from without me knowing it always freaks me out.
  • While I love FnAF, the fandom is the most wretched, vile, disgusting, repulsive, ugly thing I have ever, EVER, seen. I was there before the idiot kids raided it. What a fantastic horror game, all of them.  Too bad it’s reputation was ruined by the disgusting children that have had zero parenting.

Apologies, I’ve held that in for a while now.

I don’t think it would work, unless they used a phantom or nightmare animatronic.  I do think hearing freddy’s Distorted, slowed laugh would really add to the atmosphere of the game. I’m not sure about this one.
Firstly, every and I mean EVERY fandom will have is good and bad side, it's not really in peaks of which is better or worse since I come to the idea that all fandoms are equal in there quality's regardless of what they are based on.

As for the idea of an animatronic killer, would probably be too silly to work in the same game as a pedo old man who was burned alive, or a crazed cannibal but the idea could be possible or just reworked into a different killer
