The end bit.
Rank 1 killers aren't really good.
Nurse is the best killer in the game.
I think it's the other way around.

Ironic that you use DBD's ranking to dress your argument that the Nurse player you versed and escaped was good.
It's ironic because you have said many times on this forum that ranks are meaningless... except when it supports your notions apparently.
Want to scrim? I'll record. Videos of dbd are so much more indicative of skill than a screenshot of post match summary especially when you gloat about beating a nurse.
What are you trying to say? That nurses are overrated or that rank 1 killers aren't really good?

Obviously agree, but I don't even think it's the best perk to slow gens down.
Of course it's not a great perk. But killers don't have any great gen slowdown perks. Old ruin was decent. But it was still a hex perk.
Right now, there isn't a single perk that would help a struggling killer with the gens.
-
The new killer will be S tier.
For a couple of months...
Then comes the nerf bat.
-
Instead of hating the perk, people should actually think about the reason why killers started staking gen slowdown perks.

A good Nurse literally cannot be ran. At all. That's the entire point of Nurse. So yeah, it's pretty damn hard to believe these were good players. So hard I'm going to go ahead and call you a liar.
So just because you are bad, i´m a liar.

I feel like someone should give him the Mr. X hat and a licker tongue so we can just meld all the speculations together. And Jack's chainsaw scissors because why not.
Honestly, if they would bring us this as Legendary skin, then a lot of people would buy it
-
- Killers are stacking 2 or more gen slowdown perks.
- 2 or 3 gens go by the time the killer gets his first hook.
- NOED always triggers when killers equip it, despite very easy to find totem spots.
So yeah, i´d say gens a still a problem.
-
This will be the new Killer.

Have you seen more Wraiths? I haven´t

The problem with stealth killers is, that they fall behind during the current gen rush meta.

Good for you. Maybe don't think bragging about steamrolling babies is the best idea. I'm certainly not, my opponents tend to get the gens done in between 3.5-4 minutes on average.
Oh those nurses were definitely not noobs.
Is it so hard to believe that nurse can be beaten?

That's my average Nurse experience.
Not mine. Yesterday i had 2 matches against nurses. First one was a 4 man escape. Second one i maxed out chase points with 0 hooks. My teammates were not so lucky and i gave up after she closed the hatch.
-
Do people still wonder why killers stack several gen slowdown perks?
It´s not like 3 gens are done by the time the killer gets his first hook...

@TGB said:
You need 4x as many Survivors as you do Killers to start a game.
My Killer queue times are about a minute. Every day. Consistently. In fact, I just had one less than 30 seconds.
It's in the math, friends.
Enough is enough.
Enough words.
Enough redirections.
Enough fallacies.
Queue time for Killer is NOTHING.
Because there are PLENTY of Survivors to go around.
Playing Survivor is free real estate. Everyone knows it. Everyone shows it by what they play.
Take a balance-designed game like CSGO or LoL. Now imagine if you always had to play the team that had 4 people, and your friend always had to play the team that had 1 person. Who do you think would ALWAYS get their games first?
But yet, in DBD, it's the exact opposite. Killer queue times are FASTER. Even though they should be the exact opposite, SLOWER.
How much more do you need??? I am actually asking you this. YOU. You, personally, Guy Who Keeps Saying Game Balance is Fine.
What does it take for you to admit it? If even the sheer, raw math doesn't crack your shell? Do you need god himself to peek out from the clouds and be like, "YES. YES, INDEEDETH, SURVIVOR IS FREE WINS IN DEAD BY DAYLIGHT! NOW AWAY I GO!"
What in god's FREAKING name does it TAKE for you lot to just ADMIT it??????
Enough WORDS. Enough DEBATING or ARGUING.
It's RIGHT the FRICK THERE. It's IN the NUMBERS. It's IN the MATH.
4:1 player ratio and the 1 has faster queues.
GET. REAL.
The playerbase knows it.
EVERYONE KNOWS IT.
STOP.
SAYING.
ANYTHING ELSE.
I just can't take it anymore. Human delusion LITERALLY knows no bounds. There is NO LIMIT to what people will tell themselves.
Somebody help me. Legitimately. How do I cope with this? Why does it even upset me so much???
Just play survivor. Most killer mains switched for a reason. Devs won´t do anything in that regard until survivor queues pass a certain treshold (if i remember correctly, they said something about 20 minute queues are still fine, but don´t ask me for the actual quote).
-
@MadLordJack said:
Balance isn't the issue so much as unbalanced matchmaking. A Nurse can go into every trial and maybe lose 1.
Thats a myth.
-
At this point I don't believe in a hard nerf for keys. Otherwise they wouldn't have introduced hatch offerings. They probably give keys a 1 second opening animation and that's about it.
Let's face it, keys are here to stay.
-
The devs explained it during a stream. In a overcomplicated way, they tried to explain that killers have long queues when a new killer releases (hasn't been like that for a year) and that survivors get long queues because there are not enough killers.

She's still the best killer if you master her.
Where are those nurse gods then?
Last night I had 2 matches against nurse. First one was a 4 man escape. Second one I maxed out chase points without getting hooked. At the end i just let her get me. Because the others were dead and the hatch was closed.
It's not that nurse is good, it's survivors being bad.
-
You had a match against the Twins?
That's awesome! Which of the 2 Twins mains did you meet?
I haven't played against them since their release...
-
Play bad on purpose. Or it will take ages.
Funny thing is, the devs probably take the stats from this challenge to say that killers have a high kill rate.
-
Nurse is overrated. Years ago she was great. But now it's not worth to go through all the hassle to master her.
You'll get better results in mastering any other killer in a fraction of time.
This is also reflected in her kill rate.
-
I love going against nurse. Because as you said, she has counters.
But some people straight up quit against her. Because they don't like her.
Nurse mains spend hundreds of hours to master her. If survivors spend even a tiny fraction of that time to learn how to counter her, then no one would complain about her.
But it's always easier to just give up and inflate the kill rate artificially. Even if it's the killer with the lowest kill rate.

I do not think devs are mad like that. Deathslinger nerf is imposible, he is balanced killer. And i think he needs buffs, him add-ons trash so add-ons changes would be good.
You mean impossible like the Twins nerf?

Spirit DOES need addressed though.
Beating spirit is actually not that hard. You loop her like every other killer. Once she starts standing still behind a window or pallet, you start running to the next one.

Don´t give them ideas...
-
Don´t worry, once Spirit is nerfed, we´ll get non stop
*throws a dice*

pig
Pig?
...
okay we´ll get Pig nerf threads. Because her stats show, that she´s OP!

It's more so that it expands the search bracket the longer you wait and since so many survivors play that bracket is huge
I explained that in the next message.
-
What i hope for:
- skill based mmr goes live
- new game mode (tournament mode?)
- ingame voice chat/ping system
- introduction of additional survivor objectives (gas cans, repair parts, fixing cables, etc)
- reworked tutorial
- reworked report system (we have dedicated servers, with logs. Time to use them)
- removal of the 8k bloodpoint cap per category (if someone wants to go full heal build or chase build. He shouldn´t be punished for it)
- removal of the million bloodpoint cap
- change of the bonus bloodpoint perks/addons to award the points post trial + introduction of items/addons that give bonus points in exchange of making the item useless/removal of functionality
- no mither buff (bonus bloodpoints for using it)
- twins become a coop killer mode
- option for killers to open the gate even before all gens have been completed
-
This is completely different from my experience. Maybe its an area thing, or because i have more ingame time.
Only time the killer gets a 3 or 4 kill is when someone ragequits or is afk.
-
Just use the perks you want and report everyone who writes toxic messages.
-
Solo queue is fine. In fact SWF should be nerfed instead.

No,i didnt mean literally suicide once im hooked even if 4 gens done.As i said above 19/20 times 5 gens up and team is garbage that's all.
Yesterday I had a match with someone who went right into struggle phase at the first hook. Even when the killer was somewhere else and 3 gens were done. I unhooked safely and he just stayed under the hook, self caring and waited for the killer to come back.
All because the killer was a Spirit. Wasn't even a good one. But that suicide ruined the match for everyone else.

If I remember the stats correctly (rounded):
7% 4 man swf,
17% 3 man swf,
26% 2 man swf,
34% solo queue,
16% killer.
Those are pretty old stats. New ones would be nice.

@Mr_K said:
Screw over your teammates and increase Spirit stats to get her nerfed.
A try and true tactic of survivors.
Worked for Freddy and Nurse.
-
@GeneralV said:

And that is when trials get extremely rough for the killer.
As Freddy once said: "Welcome to prime time, #########!"
Which results in even longer survivor queues...
-
Since we got colorblind modes, it would be nice to have a color selection for gens, auras, etc.

Not in my region. Anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
During prime time? 4 man SWF team will wait up to 20 minutes.
-
@Actionjacksn said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2204683#Comment_2204683
Why? For a match, you need 4 survs and only 1 killer. If 20k people online it only needs 5k killer to be enough.
More people want to play survivor than killer. Waaaay more people.
-
@Actionjacksn said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2204668#Comment_2204668
My killer ques are almost instant, i could wait few more sec or half a min to get fairer matches.
Killer queue is not the problem.
Survivor queue is. Survivors wait somewhere between 5 and 20 minutes during prime time for a match. The search widens/opens up to lower ranks, the longer the survivors wait.
-
The matchmaking works as intended.
It priotizes shorter queues over fair matches.
-
Oh you are one of those.
Because nothing sucks more, when 3 gens get completed by the first hook and that person instantly suicides.
-

Doesn't stop tunneling. It's not my fault if my teammates don't use BT...
When you die on the hook, just move on to the next match.
-
@Bumbus said:
You don't need to buff SoloQ, you need a new matchmaking system that won't send potatoes to high ranks
But high ranks are just people that play a lot. People rank up by rushing gens and acquire no useful skills for the ranks they play on.
-
For example Blood Debt: play bad on purpose to get hooked first. So you can rescue your savior.
-
Ingame voice chat is the solution.
Add a option with preferred languages, the option to stay in the same team after the match (and add new friends easier) and a mute button.
Then balance the game around it. Means buffs for killers, because solo is as powerful as SWF.

Well obviously but im talking about random teammates
They waste time trying to get the unhook i cant control them
Move yourself on the hook until 1 starts to come.
Or use a perk.

I have some tips first of all
STBFL and monitor is his best perks you cannot play him without those perks if you want to dominate. His best addons are reload and missed cooldown on shots
As for slinger himself his best stat is quick scoping his ADS is 0.15 seconds it’s incredibly fast. That’s pretty much it to learn slinger you need to play him more to improve your aim and once you play him enough to Where you never miss then your unstoppable
Switch monitor with Starstruck. Thank me later.
@op forget about Thana. Survivors won´t stay injured against him. As its extremely dangerous. Also Ruin isn´t really worth it. Hex perks are to vulnerable.
Perks that are great on him:
- Nurse Calling (seeing healing survivors and sniping them is glorious).
- Save the Best for last (faster cooldown between hits) You can also reduce the amount of hits to the obsession, since a survivor who frees himself from the spear doesn´t count as hit. So it won´t impact you as much.
- Starstruck (exposing survivors is great for him)
- Make your choice (see above)
- Monitor (to get a nice early hit) AVOID using it together with Starstruck.
Try to get survivors out in the open. He´s terrible at running in circles. But can shoot over low obstacles like cars.

I think your being sarcastic, but he played trapper only m1ing and didnt set up any traps or break the walls to the building. Usually a killer has time to set up around the map not just start a chase and mind game every pallet until you get a down.
Damn i totally missed that comment.
On what rank does the Trapper have time to set up his traps? By the time you set up all your traps, you can greet the survivors at the exit gate.
