Oh is that released had not even heard anything about that one. Well hopefully it means we get him back faster.
i heard its out, and oh my god the amount of bad things ive heard about it. it was horrible from what i heard. could be wrong and it might be people saying its bad from what we see so far. but yeah Myers would be welcomed back with open arms

It does have Clive Barker involved to voice Pinhead so it might be good or it might be same as some other story driven horror games of recent year that were not that good and some really buggy.
i hope it was worth it honestly, i love Hellraiser. but i know that the game Myers was taken out for ended up being pretty bad from what i saw and heard

Yeah just find a survivor → down survivor → hook survivor → teleport to gen → kick the gen → repeat.
thats what i do, he just said Pop doesnt work with freddy too well, so i was asking why

Yeah but that is how license companies operate there is no much sense in them. Some of them just sit on some licenses not giving anyone rights to use them so never making money of them.
i generally feel like they would make more money keeping PH in DBD then making their own game, is the game even good? or is it a dumpster fire like i heared

When the other game loses its exclusive rights they can try to get it back but most likely will take few years at least after the other game is released.
I see thats kinda lame

the only items i use are medkits and fog vials, i love fog vials as i like to avoid chase and be stealthy
fog vials are kinda weak imo, only really work against baby killers, unless ur on a tight indoor map

It was because the license was bought by the other game company with exclusive rights. So because that Behavior lost the license. Exclusive rights are anyway idiotic when the new Hellraiser game is not really even competing with DBD as its a single player game. It also creates some bad blood in the horror game community when someone pulls rights from another game because they think that makes their game sell better. It usually has a opposite effect what I have experienced.
Not to mention in game space it would be better for the franchise to have as much different games out that noway even overlap and in reality the new game and DBD does not as one is single player story game and DBD is asym multiplayer game.
do you think he might ever come back to DBD? i would like to get him, also i had no idea they made a hellraiser game

This perk has no equal on low or none mobility killers and it works very well with other very strong perks like dms, grim etc. while also being healthy because it requires from killer to hook every survivor once. I get it doesnt look that good like theres still huge rng with 4 randim scourge hooks but still what this perks offers to killers like huntress, legion, chucky or demo and many other killers that cant use pop that well like billy, wraith, freddy.
Freddy cant use pop well? i find it works on him fine, just curious

@HexSlugged said:
i rotate killers alot so no main per se but if i had to choose it would be between hound master and clown.
Hound master is to me the most satisfying to play and with my hex builds having my dog eat every surv on the map is very fun.
Clown for whatever reason is my best performing killer but im not super sure why. I NEVER use his haste bottles either, only the toxins. i find the antidote bottles to be completely pointless and too risky for potentially speeding up the survivor as well.
purple bottles all day every day.
trapper used to be my main but these days his traps feel useless and your likely to only get 1 or 2 traps a game with them on the other side of the map from you and you lose so much time trying to grab traps in useless locations that as appealing as trap killers are, the current speed of the game doesnt support their existence these days.
no piss bottle clown? but still i love playing Clown and really wanna buy Houndmaster

As Myers main I never use it, the 1 and only gen perk I use is deadlock. It usually delays all gens getting done just long enough to pick up a 3 or 4k by the end
i use Deadlock and Surge, those are usally my only gen perks

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/467311/pain-resonance
Pain Res is pretty much meta for high mobility killers. Fast to get hooks then fast to get another hook to trigger it multiple times. It's a nightmare perk for soloq players because so many times I have been on a gen that will never get done because someone got hooked. I get it back to 90% and then someone else gets hooked, I get it to 95% and 3rd person gets hooked and not 1 gen is done because the only person doing a gen keeps having the gen pushed back. It's especially effective when combined with gen blocking perks.
Pain Res is only a wasted perk if the killer is too slow to move around the map and slow to get downs or if the killer camps and tunnels or survivors are good enough to not go down so fast. I tried it with Myers and it was useless but on blight it's very good.
thats fair, and dont get me wrong i know ist strong, but i personally dont like it and find other perks more worthwhile. im not a huge lean into the meta type of killer main

Ghoul still needs more nerfs. The ability to jump across the pallet needs to be removed like Chucky's, the centipede addon needs to be changed, he doesn't need 5 perks.
i generally feel Chucky should keep that part, removing that kinda like screws him over especially around strong tiles and jungle gyms.

@OnryosTapeRentals said:
We can only speculate as to the exact reason why he left, but I'd imagine it is very likely related to the rights of the franchise changing hands. The US rights reverted back to the original creater Clive Barker some time ago, and he's making his own game with it — Hellraiser: Revival. After decades of the franchise being mishandled, I expect they'll be more selective about how they give the rights out.
Box logic refers to being able to triangulate the box's position based on where all the players are at the moment it spawns. The game attempts to spawn it a reasonable distance away from any of the players — both Survivors and the Killer — so that it's not immediately picked up and solved as soon as it appears. This means that if you have a rough idea of where all the Survivors are at the moment the box spawns on the map, you can make an educated guess as to its location.
For example, if the Killer is chasing one Survivor in the corner of the map, and knows that the other three are spread as follows, it's most likely that the box will have spawned in the unoccupied corner of the map — shaded in lime. This allows the Killer to find it, pick it up themselves, and initiate a Chain Hunt to bother the Survivors.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/G4Z3DAJBI71S/image.png
Even though Survivors can see the aura of the box, it can also be useful as a Survivor to be able to predict where the box will spawn so you can plan your movements or delegate duties more efficiently amongst yourselves. Obviously there's some randomness involved, so you can never predict with 100% accuracy. But box logic is more consistent than not.
Pinhead cant see the box aura right? it gives off a sound when your near it?

The population is always, let's call it, cycling. But from what I've observed, most people play both roles, but tend to sympathize more with one. There are also some really biased hard mains who are so loud and hostile they make it seem like it's worse than it is. People also tend to think that which ever side they main is the one less represented. Negativity bias goes hard in this community.
ive yet to see a hostile person on the forums

Ghoul only received nerfs since his release and did not receive any buffs to compensate, he is incredibly easy to loop now. The main change that really hurted him was the nerf that made him not injure survivors who is trying to vault back after the leap vault, and it looks even easier to do compared to before. If you don't use dissolution or some other chase perk, he is completely mediocre now.

They have victor who is one of best chase tools you can get your hands on and they exceed in slugging which is strategy that isnt that easy to counter because few survivors use some antislug perks compare to hook protection.
Twins are in top 3 least played killers in the entire game which gives them advantage in form of survivors not being used to face them. Casualy you will win a lot, for some its boring to slug but its effective because twins are designed all around slugging simular to oni but they are even more based around it and versitile compare to oni. Only good coordinated teams and teams running lot of antislug perks like sabbo squads do will give you trouble but twins can still take it, they are very strong.
So good killer choice if they dont bore you.
they dont bore me at all

buff Onryo and make her usable against strong teams. but i completely agree with this, i would also like it if Skully and Twins were given some love as well

I’d really love to see killers get a bit more love and attention in a future update (pretty please).
The last update just didn’t feel like it had enough bandwidth dedicated to proper killer balance and power adjustments like a lot of us were hoping for after the livestream.A lot of killers, especially the really outdated or buggy ones, are kind of getting left behind. Houndmaster is a good example: her power is super fun, but it’s also really janky and buggy at times, and it feels like it never quite gets the attention it needs. There are other killers in the same boat where bugs with their powers go untouched for multiple patches.
I’d love to see a patch (or series of patches) that’s heavily focused on:- Cleaning up killer power bugs
- Reworking or modernizing some of the oldest, clunkiest killers
- Making sure new killers actually get follow‑up balance passes instead of one light touch and then not much after that.
Killer can already be pretty intense, trying to manage everything in a trial between chases, downs, hooks, protecting gens, and checking on totems. When you add bugs and outdated kits on top of that, it just doesn’t feel great.
I am just a bit concerned that there’s so much to update with killers that things are starting to feel more and more behind over time. This is why a killer‑focused “spring cleaning” patch would go a long way. ❤️
Anyways, thanks for coming to my TED talk, and as always happy hunting and surviving out there 👀🌫️🔪
what an entertaining ted talk👀

Mood, I've so recently started playing nurse a lot because of the collector skin. Aura reading is so strong on here, my build is very similar but instead of predator I run I'm All Ears. It's super useful for nurse, allows for easy blink hits after someone goes for a vault, especially when combod with lethal.
I'm pretty mid with her though. Playing on console so my blink hits are less than reliable.
i generally feel Im All Ears is more consistent then Predator as well

Also victor has a "just leave" mechanic. If victor is on a survivor they cannot leave through the gate as it gets blocked for that survivor, and a couple seconds after victor is removed. So its possible to catch t baggers in a 1-2 combo if they don't leave.
so Victor jus kidnaps them, sounds like a Victor thing to do

It really depends on the survivors in normal games I'd say:
If they are playing coordinated and have relatively fitting perks against slugging you will struggle quite a bit if you don't main her (or if you're not a comp-player I suppose).
If it's pure solo-queue with unfitting perks you should win pretty easily.
i just got the killer and i enjoy them so far, but my god they struggle against a good swf or two, im gonna spend more time on them

@MechWarrior3 said:
It can still be useful and a good time waster. Survivors have to waste time playing fetch if they want their item unless if you’re the rare type of player like @GeneralV that never brings in an item. 🤣

I came to dbd as a Resident Evil fan and spent about my first 6 months playing Wesker exclusively, pretty much treating it as a pvp extension of Mercenaries mode. I've branched out a lot since then, spent some time with Dredge and Plague in particular, but rarely hard mained anyone.
I've been maining Henry since he came out, and got him to p100 pretty fast. I wasn't even going to buy him at first but, after playing a few matches against him, I loved the audio design so much that I went all in. He'll probably overtake Wesker in hours eventually.

Coming back to this post with 2v8 ending soon.
I again ask that we make this a permeant feature !
Why is it good?
- Promotes switching roles rather then consistently playing one role
- Encourages players who may not of played the other role or have "Killer Anixey" play surviour matches until they feel up to playing a Killer matcher rather then having to commit to the killer que.
- Brings in more of a sense of community (Teaming up with someone you may of just had as your opponent)
- Is more streamlined then having to change ques when you want to change roles. its less commitmentwanna add something here,
quicker bloodpoint gain😈

You must be chill when you mainly play killer who will get most likely wrecked by survivors, thats why I respect highly merchant and trapper mains because going into the game with high chance that you will most likely loose or 1-2k at max even when you did everything right and other side made lot of mistakes is something that requires lot of will.
i have the mindset where as i play killer, i dont expect a 4k due to my main being one of the weakest, i consider getting even one kill a win for me personally and im happy with the result
-
i think im decent at killer, i find it easy to keep pressure on the team at once, but i think i get stressed and commit to a chase for too long because i generally want someone out of the game at that point, i appreaciate the advice and ill work on it, i have like 350 hours on switch

Hey BHVR team,
I feel like it'd be cool if you guys had some characters from the Stephen King universe as he is the king of horror after all.
I'd like to suggest Malachai Boardman from Children of the Corn (1984). You guys already have the Coldwind Farm map with a corn field so he'd be a perfect fit for the game and despite being 18, he is capable of taking down people older than him. So I feel like he'd be pretty strong.
His character selection menu lines:
- "We want to give you peace."
- "Night is coming, night is his time."
- "We shall see how the Lord favors you."
- "Make sacrifice unto him! Bring him the blood of the outlanders!"
What he yells when he charges at survivors:
- "OUTLANDER!!!"
To match his hiding and strategy making abilities in the film, he'd be a stealth killer capable of sneaking up on survivors when they least expect it.
He'd, of course, have his machete as his main weapon, but I feel like it'd be cool to also have the kill technique the kids use in the Children of the Corn short story. This technique will be ripping out the survivor's eyes and shoving corn stalks in the sockets. Corn stalks will also be shoved down the survivor's throat to stop the screaming.
Another cool feature could be that the survivors get hung up on a corn cross and a teammate has to cut them down.
Now for survivors:
To have survivors that match the Children of the Corn theme, they would be Burt Stanton and Vicky Baxter. This way those playing as Malachai can go up against the victims from the film.
Now these next two survivors aren't part of the Children of the Corn or Stephen King theme, but I think they'd be absolutely perfect for this type of game. Sam and Dean Winchester from Supernatural are known for battling all sorts of killers so they'd fit super well.
these are cool ideas, but im pretty sure Stephen King doesnt want anything to do with DBD he made that clear about Pennywise

I would have to agree with this also. Ghoul is still an M1 killer at heart on certain maps.
Midwhich i think proves this, but he still has use around pallets no matter what map. i do agree though
