Doubt it, they never mention any new changes to him. Unless they surprise us tomorrow. However don't get your hope up. I guess we will have to wait 1 year before they make any changes to him.

Everyone complains about something in this game haha. And let me guess godliketerror you got "gen-rushed" while playing the trickster? And some survivors were complain that you camped someone?

Right as I got my Spirit set all together (Iron Will, Spine Chill, Dance with Me, Q&Q) I realized that I haven't gone against a Spirit in a long time. Is this regional or is there something going on?
Also, should I replace a perk with Lithe to work with Dance with me?
She boring to play as. But I seen less hags, and tricksters than spirits.

or bring franklin's but even that doesn't work most of the time because survivors can drop keys and retrieve them when hatch spawns.
Just like me. I don't bring keys by myself. But if I find one in a chest, I hide the key not get tunneled lol.
-
Just accept it. I accepted it by now, I had someone escape at least 1 out 5 matches with a key. don't expect to get 4ks each match. And plus me when I play survivor if I find a key I will just hide it so the killer does not see it. So just don't go around expecting a 4k in every match. So just try to slug I guess if you don't want to lose vs a key.

Detectives hunch, lets see everything totems, gens, and chest.

Yea I uninstalled while DBD figures out what they’re gonna be I thought it was going to be more of a jump scare gotcha game hide and seek rather than “you will never get this you will never touch this lalalala” first remade movies ruin my favorite killers but now video games too when does it end...
Yeah I wish it was more like hide n seek. But it's more of "Hey come chase me, I'm wearing a pink wig, and all bright colors so you can see me" and I'm going be vaulting a window to be annoying. And you can't even play hide n seek since a lot of people don't like it when survivors play like that.

Kinda my point it’s turned into a weird horror themed action game where you hit half circles watching a bar load or you chase someone you have to sweat to catch and if you do it’s not over til you hook em 3 times so either put the scare back in it or just say it’s an action game lol
I kind of wish was a one hit hit game. So it would be a true horror game again. Since back then when it came out, there was no looping. Everyone would just hide. So people were scared. When bought this game I was imaging everyone was going to be scared, I was going to be this unstoppable individual. But as I found out people make you work to get them.
-
I still use it. It feels great at end game when I have 100% guaranteed out to a win, when I'm getting camped at end game. it's gotten me a couple of wins. I like the nerfs they made to it, since I play killer as well.

Honestly same I feel like the game has MPD it does not know if its horror, with tense atmosphere and choices and consequences or just an action game with quick time events and chase scenes. I just want a more definitive playstyle if you want a horror game take the action elements out if you want an action game take the licensed horror icons out. These killers would never be bested like this in their respected franchises. It just does not make sense anymore. I want this game to succeed and hang around but the player base is showing that something is not resonating with streamers and common players alike.
Is this game even horror? Since some people literally have no fear. It's just people running the killer around walls literally. This game used to be more scary.
-
When someone runs NOED for me, it show that individual has no confidence in paying that killer. Because for me I can tell if a person has NOED. My rule is if the killer is horrible at playing, there is 50% chance they could have NOED based on what I seen.
-
I hate the bug. But when ever I play survivor, and I drop a pallet it never stuns the killers. OHH but whenever I play killer I always get stunned when people drop it on me. What I have noticed is when the killers swings it does not stun them if you drop it, but if the killer does not swing if you drop it will stun them.

Ahh I see well I dont know what to say then deathslinger mb but trickster is not worth the effort you could play twins and do better
I'm sorry the twins are boring to play as, and vs. I found them to be boring to play as. The trickster is actually to fun to play as, but expect to get 1 or 2k vs rank 1s if you don't got good aim.
-
Just force them out. I always force people out, just to end the game quicker.
-
@Leachy_Jr said:
Strat is to use your bat as little as possible and from there your aim will drastically improve. Start thinking ahead as well with your blades, if you only have 20 blades left its better to just take the m1 and then blade hits, but if you have main event almost full you may as well use blades on both hits.
My build is corrupt, ruin, BBQ, Shadowborn. I would trade out shadow for brutal and in your case I would recommend iron maiden if you're not using extra blade add ons.
You will never win however on horribly designed maps. It's just an unfortunate reality.
Or huge maps. Or maps without many lockers to reload. Also when he said start thinking ahead. he also is saying to get ready to throw knifes if you know a person will vault over a window, so you can get a couple of shoots in. Just predict were the person is trying to move.
-
Pretty much what the first guy said. He benefits from ruin massively. My build is corrupt, ruin, and pop. And the last slot I may go with bbq, or starstruck. I actually think startstruck is a top tier perk. It's a lowkey info perk, and a deterrent perk. So people don't try to be hero's, it cuts out flashlight saves, and it also scared people if they are working on a gen. As the other day I had one gen left like at 80% percent. So I took one of the guys out, and I was next to that gen and all the other survivors pretty much got scared and ran away and I ended up winning thanks to pop. But don't try to use the knifes at every location. M1 them if they are next to your face. Try to avoid using your knifes in shack, don't try to get survivors in the shack if they bring you to it, and or jungle gyms. Unless you got perfect aim. Try to go after the weak survivors, my rules is if this person is good to leave them and go after the weak teammates. Try to practice your aim. And try to use your knifes if the person is running to safety, try to throw knifes in the direction they want to head towards to make them slower. in short loops leave the pallets as they actually help, since the survivor has to jump over it. Which is an easy down.

I've also went against red rank killers using 3 slowdown perks who keep double backing at low wall loops and refuse to kick jungle gym pallets. Both sides have screwed up matchmaking.
Survivors have it worse to be honest. Right now it took me 5 to 10 minutes to find a match. And it's a Saturday evening lol. I can imagine tonight gonna take at least 10 to 16 minutes. It's very tuff for killers to be honest. I think a lot of people can't deal with the embarrassment of losing as killer, and shenanigans that some survivors like to play.
-
Maybe an as someone wrote make an M2 option to make the dying quicker. If the survivor wants to just wait the normal time to pass out, or the survivor could have an option to make it go quicker. Because yeah slugging is boring, and killers who play like that are just boring mhmm the twins.

I still think a lot of red rank killers get carried by uncoordinated solo teams imo. Hence why a lot of "nerf SWF" threads.
I mean no survivors carries killers. The killer has to earn rank 1, unlike survivors who can easily rank up to red ranks just by being carried by their friends. I got some red rank friends who are red rank, who don't know even how to perform basic loops. So no solo uncoordinated team just goes okay we are ALL going to let this killer get hooks and kills. And in red ranks most teams are quite decent, even a lot of solos.

@[Deleted User] said:
Rank based matchmaking simply does not work for a game like this. Someone being rank 1 does not mean the player is good, it probably means he plays a lot of DBD enough to pip 20 times in a month. I honestly miss when the rank reset throwed everyone to green ranks, so red ranks were actually a bit better. As you said, too many red ranks who don't know basically looping or simply coordination. Hope MMR fixes that.
Not not really it means that person has some sort of skill to reach rank 1. Because getting to killer as rank 1 requires work. Meaning people actually have to put work in. Most people can easily reach red rank. But after red rank most people reach a standstill till they improve on a certain killer. At least that is how it went for me.
-
He was never weak in the first place. He was in a decent spot. Overall for me, he is one of the most annoying killers now. Especially in maps with low amounts of pallets and jungle gyms.
-
Anything goes in endgame. Does not matter if you camp, or tunnel. It's the end game no one cares. I had a match earlier were I defended the killer. Why because he was camping in the endgame. And in the endgame chat one of the survivors who lost, because she made the save. And essentially switched hooks. Was saying wow imagine camping. And I just said Don't matter it's endgame anything goes.
-
Object of obsession is horrible when you are the last survivor, I would not call it an S perk. Maybe a B perk.
-
Xbox one? Or Xbox series x?
Because it may an Xbox issue in general. Since I played on my PS4 pro and for me It never has lagged or stuttered. Anyway you should get a good computer if this is an issue for you. I used to be a console person myself. I always thought playing on a PC was trash. But as soon as I got a decent PC, I realized playing on PC is much better than console.
-
It may be bait. But I have to say wraith is slowly becoming one of the most annoying killers in DBD.
-
You push survivors out of the way by smacking them. And if you don't want people being a hero, run starstruck. People get scared of that as soon as it activates.
-
I don't know why people complain. I played on the PlayStation Pro 4 and it runs good. But I play mainly on my computer, and it runs fine.

Anyone having issues picking up downed survivors on the stairs of the killer shack? They crawl against the sides and then I’m unable to pick them up round after round. Any thoughts?
YES That happened to a survivor I downed the other day. It's not that they crawl next to the stairs, but if you down them and they fall in a certain way, you can not pick them up. If half if their body goes through the stairs, it won't let you pick them up.
-
Killer perks
Slow down
When a survivor is injured they are 5% slower. Until the survivor is healed they will run at 95%, instead of 100% when injured.
No teaming.
When ever 2 or more survivors are within 10 meters of each other, the killer receives an auditory alert. within a 32 meter range of the killer. It has a cooldown of 40 seconds.
This perk would be similar to premonition.
-
Yeah it's a real thing, I posted about this the other day. Even if you are winning the game, it will stress you out for some reason, even if you are not bored. It's an unexplainable feeling. Like you wanna keep playing but at the same time you don't, it just feels stressful. I guess since you have to play 75% harder, it breaks some people.
-
Never will be, since this is multiplayer game, and it would be outrages to not be able to play with friends. But I feel when playing with a SWF, survivors should not be able to rank up. Like they won't de-ranked. But they cannot rank up. So you don't have a bunch of red ranks who clearly just ranked up, who just are getting carried by their friends. And killers should get bonus bloodpoints when vs a SWF. This here is the best thing they could do.
-
Run Starstruck. Really scares survivors away, I love that perk. No one tries to be a hero, or none of that. No bodyblocking, or flashlight saves.
-
Honestly spine chill is pretty much the only way to counter her stridor. Since you know if she is on you.
-
Yeah as I said the other day I have noticed an increase in tunneling. It's happened to me, and I seen more people get tunneled. I can't tell you the amount of times I have been picked up after the DS nerf after getting tunneled, only to DS the killer hahaha. Were as before the killers would have a bit more respect if they downed you after getting hooked.
-
I have not seen many good trickster in red ranks. I seen fewer than 5 good tricksters, since his official release. Meaning no camping, no tunneling. Just got out flat clean 4ks. I think a lot of people who say they are good just go up against overconfident survivors, or anything below red ranks. Because I was getting 4k to 3k consistently in purple ranks, but as soon as I got ranked up again to red ranks I pretty much would only get 2k at best, or 1k or 0. But yeah he is weakest killer in the game at the moment. If he does not get buffed before the RE chapter is released, he most likely will that K-pop face in the roster that will collect dust, and will rarely be used after this chapter.
-
I have the perfect solution. Make it 4 knifes to injure a survivor, and 8 down a survivor. It's good because getting 4 knifes is not that hard so that way he could pressure the game. He could pressure multiple people that grouped up that way. Or simply just hit survivor with 4 knifes, so he could drops chases, and not worry about hitting 8 knifes to injure. Also make it so main event could be hold able so it can be used when needed.
-
Don't view as an issue like that since it's their only job. But I have always thought of a 5% decrease on running speed if a survivor is injured. So it could motive survivors to heal up thus taking time. Either survivors heal up or risk running slower during a chase. it would help the killer, if the survivor is injured, it would help them end the chase quicker.
-
Noooooooo. Chat will give survivors a massive advantage. Best thing they could so is have basic chat system with premade phrases. Like "come here". Or like "Don't rescue me". Sort of like battlefield 5 premade chat.
-
Killer believe it or not. Because as a killer you may not get many kills. but if you get downs, and chases you can keep your rank easier. On the other hand SOLO survivors have it harder since they have to depend on random people. But with friends ranking up with survivor is easier.
-
Clown is decent. I never really understood why some people saw him as "weak". I lost to plenty of clowns. As my brother says his ability is cheap, but it's good.
-
@bm33 said:
Definitely give advantage as both killer and survivor.
As survivor: Stealth killers you will hear their footsteps/breathing - this has saved me a ton. Easier to pinpoint direction killers are coming from. Easier to hear teammates nearby that are injured. Easier to find gens that have been started on indoor maps.
As killer: Hear grass movements or survivors breathing that are trying to hide Better hear and pinpoint injured survivors, survivors cleansing a totem, survivors working in gen, squeak of locker from survivor entering/exiting.
As a survivor I always run spine chill. So I'm good in that department of getting caught of guard by killers. Now killer I'm sure it does give an advantage. But I like to hear the environment around me, what something happens and I don't hear. So that is why I don't to use headphones.
-
@Hoodied said:
Yes as its easier to tell what direction the injured sounds and footsteps are coming from, same with michaels HHSDUHH HOOOOOH
So for killer it's helps out more? But for survivors it's not necessary right?
-
Eh most killers are okay. They one killers that needs a nerf would be spirit. Maybe make it a bit easier to tell were the spirt is when she is phasing, but most killers are an okay place.
-
Play at night, or evening. Because usually depending on your rank, in red ranks it's veryyy difficult. Unless you have 1000s of hours in killer. But yeah at night in red ranks, you may get a mixed matches so you may get put vs purple and greens. Or try to de-ranked to get put vs lower ranks. But difficulty should be based on who you use more.
-
I don't hate going up against Trickster, I think they are actually fun to go up against if they are decent. But why I think a lot of survivors don't like to go up against him, is due to how I seen a lot tricksters tend to resort to tunneling and camping. I noticed that since there is not many decent, or good ones a lot of them will proxy camp and tunnel. That is why I assume a lot of survivors don't like to go up against him. And yeah a lot survivors get overconfident so that is why you have a high level of trolling toward him, if you will. And he is not like the old legion as some people say. He is easy to loop. Literally the weakest killer, a rock makes his ability worthless. He is definitely the king of short loops. But in most loops his ability is worthless.
-
NOED. Don't know why people use it in high ranks.

at some point you have to take some damage. If your teamates got hooked twice you clearly want killer to chase you to waste some of his time, Allow them to heal and do gens. If you don't know how to run killer and just hide your mates will die fast and you'll end up in 1st hook death/hatch escape situation
I don't play stealthy when I'm survivor. I usually play a mix of different style whatever is convenient at the time. I'm the type whatever happens, happens, if I have to get into a chase so be it or if I have switch hooks then I view as whatever lol. I just view it as unfair that some people think it's an issue if a survivor plays stealthy.
-
You're not wrong it's a sweaty playstyle. All the way up to rank users play like that. But can you really blame them when they face sweaty survivors.
-
Basic build. Hex ruin, pop, corrupt, and any other perk of your choice. Those three perks are almost a must since his chases take soooooooo long in red ranks. The tactic for him is ending the chases quick as possible. To go after the weakest survivors first. To avoid the shack with him. Meaning if a survivor is taking you to the shack just give it up. His best add on is the one that give him more knifes. As believe it or not those 10 to 15 extra knifes have made a difference in taking one, or even two survivors down. And if someone is standing in front of you running circles just M1 them. Meaning don't try to use your power all the time, as survive will try to spin around you if you get to close and are throwing your knifes. Overall Gatsby advice is a good start.
-
@xEzekanarioX said:
Playing stealthy only shows how bad and scared you are from the killer. Do you feel is fair escaping without having any contact with the killer?
If you want to play hide and seek go out with your imaginary friends.
I also camp that type of person if i find him.
If they put the work in yeah they should escape, even if they don't encounter the killer. The survivor that does gens, and hides that's cool. Now I get it, survivors who just hides in a locker and do nothing. Now those survivors are not contributing, those survivors are just annoying.
