I only have issues with Haddonfield if I'm against a really good team, moat notably SWF groups. But I don't hate it nearly as much as other Killers do.
Same, it is alright. Some of the spots are just yikes, but whatever, happens in nearly every map anyways. At least it is cool. Better than just another forest or scrapyard.
-
Yes, I counted them myself, literally all of them tunnel. How shameful!
-
It kind of has charm as a survivor map. I would hate for it to lose that reputation.
-
Not going to lie, that is hilarious. I always remember for every toxic survivor I run into, some hero like this will deliver karmic retribution. Sorry you were collateral damage.
-
I do not swing this way, but Trickster. Like, out of the options we have, I would rather him to be honest.

see this kids? don't be this.
it is toxic because it's giving someone a 2min respawn timer into a 5-15min que. it's 1 person looking at that shiny game you bought, and saying "no you can't play it"
then it's always "just get good," or "just use a certain perk"
killing is not toxic, camping is. same thing in call of duty
Why are those queues so long, I wonder.
-
@MrDrMedicman said:
none, chases are already pretty lengthy with gen times. if anything they need a faster killer
This... Would instantly main. Even if they were ugly like Wraith.
-
It would be a lot better if the triggered one remained, survivors get pretty confident cleansing totems after it procs and I THINK the intent of the perk is the opposite.
-
Its effect was earned the second I equipped it.
-
Finally, it would be balanced! Kind of kidding, but also kind of not. This s probably what it would take to make it even at the highest levels. Anywhere else, it would be so ludicrously killer favored.

Nah, killer or bust. They can skip survivor. Nobody cares about those.

Agreed with this mostly. While i have nothing against NOED by itself, when you combine NOED with a Facecamping killer, it is just the most miserable experience you can ever have in this game.
When Otz was playing Bubba and was facecamping a poor David, he just left at some point because he said he couldn't bare it. And i get it. If you are a player that is even remotely concerned with how the experience is for the other players in the trial, you cannot seriously stomach facecamping
Which brings me to why survivors are overly-altruistic. I think that most survivors, including myself, just want the survivor that is on hook to not have to spend the entire game not doing anything. I don't care about escaping, i don't care if my last hook trade gets me killed in the end. I will gladly take the chase from a tunneled survivor, or hook trade.
Now is Facecamping a viable strategy, sure, stomps soloQ. Facecamping with NOED, stomps them even worse. At the end of the day, when you have to depend on the good-will of others to have an enjoyable experience, you will be sadly disappointed. Best you can do at the moment is take the L and hope for the best in the next game.
Best thing the devs can probably do at this point is severely hindering you from getting a Pip if you facecamp a survivor the entire match, and not depip the survivor that was facecamped. This way, the survivor that is on hook will not be incentivized to just DC, and the killer would be more compelled to pursue others. At least in theory...
Huh? If they are face camping with NOED, the game is over, they are waiting on you to leave or trade, or try and find my totem.
-
Nah, just make the timeout progressively longer if it isn't already that way.
-
It doesn't really matter what he thinks, if you want to use it, use it. It is one of the best perks in the game. If I was playing to win, there is no way I wouldn't use it.

Yeah but if the killer was that bad, chances are there are still 90% of pallets on the map, so u have alot of bullying material, lol
I can only speak for myself, obviously. But I am pretty bad compared to most of the red ranks here. I am only purple and joined like 2 months ago, but they still have to burn pallets to "bully" me unless they get to survivor Shack. I still haven't figured that one out at all. It feels like I need to make a read and a half to get a hit. And then they have their pallet there as a get out of jail free card.
-
Otz is such a nice guy. I love that he actually cares, or cares about his image enough to pretend to care. Most pc content creators from other games aren't like that. He is cut from finer cloth.
-
I have not seen that, really. I see way more complaints than people pretending the state of the game is perfectly fine. I do not think you know what a shill is. In Pokemon Unite, those Nintendrones think that withholding the tutorial character that was available in the beta is somehow "good marketing" in a free to play game. It doesn't get much more shill than whatever the heck that excuse for logic so backwards that calling it backwards feels like an understatement.
-
Pig is bad, but I do not put her in that same category. I guess people think Oni is good, but he fits the category better, imo.

Isn’t holding the game hostage already a bannable offense?
Olay, but really, if they just added a forfeit option, I could move on. I do not care if they get banned or not. I just want the game to end, why is that such an issue?
-
My thoughts are the only people who don't want it are the types who tryhard and want their opponents to be their punching bags. Otherwise, the experience is much better for literally everyone else. It can't come soon enough. The matchmaking as it is now is not good enough to be a joke.

I agree with this post because I'm also survivor main playing killer at rank 6 against ranks 1-4 and it's pretty similar I came to conclusion both sides have fair chance depending which players are more skilled they often blame the game and balance for it but it's their own fault if they lose or they were less skilled than others
That is why we need mmr. All of a sudden people will start learning about how the game actually works against evenly matched players. Hint hint, nobody near the top likes it and the reason is very obvious.
-
I mean, he is not worse than Trapper or Pig. Like, just being bad doesn't mean you are the worst. People say that about Michael too. But, again, he isn't Trapper or Pig. Rofl.
-
That first perk needs to come with a forfeit option for killer, they will never come out once they realize the 3 gen is not going anywhere. Ha ha ha.

My sister and I always joke that David is TrueTalent.

Well yeah, u could say the same about a survivor squad 99ing both gates then spending the next 20 minutes just ######### the killer, it goes both ways, it's the players fault at the end of the day
You can open the exit gates though, and realistically they are just going to run to them because they aren't THAT committed to trolling that they would risk a down. Even the rank 1 swf I go against wise up after you hit them and there are no pallets around. Then all of a sudden it isn't so funny anymore and they want to go.
-
Really surprised the toxicity was roughly the same. I have only had like maybe 3 killers swat at me on hook once and that is it. Survivors are toxic even when I play nice and let them go. Literally never had a message from a killer and survivors have my page filled. So, yeah, wasn't expecting that part in the slightest.
What kind of messages were they? I obviously know all the generic stuff a survivor sends. What do killers do?
-
What in the lawd almighty? I know Behavior loves their survivor mains, but this would be extreme even for them. No.
-
I love it as survivor. As killer? Eh. Hit or miss. I prefer to be there because it is cooler than forest d or scrapyard b.
-
And that is basically why we are getting mmr. Unfortunately, from what I hear, they announced it like 2 years ago. So maybe another 2 year break is necessary until they figure out how to keep it in the main game? Or whatever the supposed issue is.

I kill them all before that happens. Haven't had an exit gate butt dance party in a while.
You kill them while trying for this challenge? That is probably one reason why you haven't gotten it. Rofl. You basically have to throw the game to even attempt it, if you ask me.

Respectfully then, this will not make the gameplay any more enjoyable.
Well, probably for survivors. But you know, I think people would quit if they had to risk a baseball every time they were forced to break a God pallet.
-
I feel like you just need to give them some space at the exit gate and hope they help. But you know how survivors are. They aren't staying at exit gates to be polite. Now are they?
-
Just pick Clown? Unless you mean you got it from the Shrine and literally no killer has proc'd it yet.
Either way, none of this has to do with the archive, it is more just that the grind is crazy.
-
For people who do not want to play with red rank clowns, basically. I do not want those rank 1 anywhere near me, they can play with like-minded individuals.
-
I noticed flashlights were really good when I faced a wall, and still got stunned by someone as I was holding the opposite direction just in case. That was the moment I became a toxic killer that will tunnel and face camp any flashlight users who get a stun, kind of a lame origin story. Anyways, all the Bloodpoints to get to level 40 as Billy and all the millions after that to get Lightborn on my entire roster... It was worth. I do not regret even a single point of that blood going to the cause that is most true.
-
His ammo count back to 60 is what I would buff, even if they reverted him. I feel old Trickster was better...
-
I mean, I am not Gary (keeping this autocorrect because it made me laugh), but if I was, I would probably prefer Trickster sliced me up, uwu.

Let's not act like the majority of the maps* don't obviously tilt in a particular role's favour. For almost all of them it's very obvious and the killer chosen doesn't suddenly make it the inverse, it just means it makes it somewhat easier for them but it's still a survivor sided map.
Nurse can fair well better than any other killer on Cowshed but it's still the most survivor sided map in the game. There's a reason why it's not allowed in tournaments even when the majority of the time the killers played are Spirit and Nurse.

I am not acting, I have seen really good players have opinions that differed and my own experiences at my level of play differ radically. You said Lery's was a killer map? I hate that place as a killer (and it, like most indoor maps, isn't viable for ranged killers). Love it as a survivor. It is literally the only map I can run a killer for more than 10 seconds, I consistently run them for multiple gens or until they drop it. I am sure there is a general consensus, but rarely do I ever see a map offering and quake in my boots.
Well, RPD, but that is because I still haven't learned it.

What I don't understand about some people in this game and people in video game communities in general is how hard they try (and fail) to apply stoicism. They think any interactions online should not upset you and "it's just a video game", but the nature of video games, particularly PvP ones, are by nature prone to being upsetting. You're in a competitive environment, failure sucks. Being taunted and disrespected sucks (bm'd), being on the receiving end of being insulted sucks. It doesn't matter if it's online or not; you're not talking to bots, you're still talking to people.
The people who go so hard in the "it's just a video game" / think that interactions online (good or bad, but especially bad ones) should not have any sort of emotional impact on you to any degree are trying extremely too hard to put on a strong face to look more mature and stoic. The psychology of social interactions suddenly doesn't go away because you're online. It still applies.
Of course, tame your emotions and don't get out of control, but there's no different standard really than in real life. Keep your emotions in check but please people stop acting like people need to be emotionless online. That's not only not a solution and unrealistic but you're doing more harm than good.
At this point, it is common knowledge some do it to bait reactions. So, if you realistically want to stop being a victim of their bad manners, it truly is best to just ignore whatever nonsense they throw at you. That doesn't mean you cannot be offended. But projecting that is utterly pointless.
If this stuff gets under your skin, you are going to have a bad time, because a lot of them do it. So many. Dare I say I see it more here than in Overwatch which is closer to having that LoL toxicity than this game.
-
Nobody even agrees on what maps are killer or survivor favored. And even then, it depends on the killer, and even then, it depends on the rng. But as someone who does not use items or add ons, map offerings are literally the only valuable thing in bloodwebs.
And Hawkins won't spawn for me. So I am going to need to start using those sooner rather than later.

Sorry, but I do take issue with this.
First of all, in your argument involving your friend, you fail to mention to your friend that the other player literally has no agency once they've been chosen. They will die, and there's nothing they can do. Yet they have to wait at least 2 minutes for them to actually kick the bucket if they want to give their teammates a remote chance, which they often don't. They either do the fair equivalent of a DC, or they literally cannot play the game.
Have you ever been the victim of this? Only when you're a very skilled survivor can you actually extend the 2 minutes by any meaningful amount. The vast majority of survivors is not that, leading to them having a miserable experience, after which they're sent straight back to the queue, with a meager amount of BP. And for what? Because they got unlucky. They were the 1/4 that had to be denied the entire match because of your desire to win said game.
I know empathy for your opposition cannot be asked for, and I am guaranteeing you don't give a flying ######### about any of this. But holy mother of Moses, is wanting a healthy environment for all players so much to ask?
Okay, but as you mentioned previously, you do not need to wait 2 minutes. So the argument that you need to wait 2 minutes is entirely redundant? If they were forced to wait it out, then sure.
But most games once you are dead, you are dead. And heck, survivors will farm you well before you need to wait 2 minutes regardless. The only time they don't is if they are using you as bait to gen rush. But since we are talking about killer problems, it is more likely they got unhooked unsafely only to get put right back on the meathook immediately. Rofl.

Whose power does it ruin?
Myers isn’t undetectable after tier 2
Pig’s stealth is horrible anyway and is hardly used
Wraith is very strong in chase, the stealth isn’t that important
GF exposes you as you stare at him
Any means makes nemesis’ zombies useless, is that perk unhealthy?
Quite frankly, I’m not sure how guaranteed hits/grabs from stealth without a perk to use as counterplay is healthy at all to the game.

Ghostface before the expose? You have to stare at them for quite some time to get the expose. Lol.
I mean, I disagree with your other counter arguments too, but at least it is hard to argue with the fact that their stealth is garbage or limited. But you know, only the worst survivors (or those god loopers that are like, "come at me bro") allow a Ghostface to expose them for free. I consider myself a rank 20 survivor and even I wouldn't just sit there if spine chill was active for more than a second.
Beyond that, his stealth is his power too. He can use it for other stuff than just staring at them, and spine chill does give them an idea that it is happening making it pointless.

Yeah, I watched that stream before I joined and that is half the reason I downloaded the game. I didn't want to hop in 5 years late against people who had hundreds of hours. I thought the bot mode would be perfect to have some fun as these killers.
Luckily it wasn't so bad getting used to the game. Because it seems like that isn't happening. Ha ha ha.

I was talking about gen rush and tunneling they are both doing objectives effectively. Camping is a dumb tactic and will lose you the game unless survivors feed the camper
It depends. Trust me, smart killers are going to camp if they want to win. That doesn't necessarily mean face camping the first survivor you have. But there are times where if you are trying to play optimally, it is the only play. And I am not just talking about end game either.

Hopefully never, if you ask me. I prefer iconic characters. We have so many that still need to be added before it is necessary to start scraping the bottom of the barrel.
