Frankly, i'd rather just starve the SWF by forcing them to play solo haha.
Then you'd get no lobbies, the game would die problem solved since if people can't play with their friends which most are just screwing around you have no game. If you had lobbies you'd get stuck with the solo players that know how to play.
But then you'd be wishing you hadn't screwed yourself over because now you'd be facing swat teams of solo survivors because they'd be the only ones left.
Oh and because you were facing solo only all the buffs killers have been getting to help them get closer to swf kiss those goodbye.
Hot damn you can read the future? Spoken as if you were CEO of BEhaviour.
Sounds like you believe this would happen because it would prove me, and anyone who agrees with me wrong, which would give you satisfaction.
I have no problem with high skill solo players, because they are the ones who, for the most part, have earned their talent for the game without the cheese.

T-bagging ruins the fun for the killer, it's an attempt to make us salty which just turns the game from fun into competitive.
They’re spamming the crouch key..
Think of it as irritating, like when someone makes a lot of noise when eating, or makes that "ah" sound after drinking, or snoring in bed.
You might not be a competitive killer, and that's fine. But it's an obvious bait to get a reaction from the killer, which isn't really needed is it?
You can try just shrug your shoulders and say"but its just spamming the crouch keeeey", but it's a bit more than that. It's a survivor playing cocky and attempting to get a reaction.

There is something very different that ruins your "fun" because someone spam the crouch key is your problem, (you have serious mental problems), get camped ruins the gameplay and fun for the survivor .. 2 hours ago I was camped by a leatherface only because I had borrowed time? (I did not make him tea bag) .. Now the killers camp for anything and cry at the forum.
Once again, another survivor main thinking he has the perfect comebacks in his head because he has the idea that killers just want to watch survivors be nerfed to water. I called it an "attempt", but it does bother some people since people can be competitive, or is that a problem for you too Mr. Perfect?
While I appreciate your little story about a LF camping you, camping is a legit strategy. If it wasn't; insidious would not be in the game.
Thanks take care bye.

I believe it doesn't, however it's most likely going to be end game by the time you charge it up unless 3 survivors feed you it.
So, yes, you can mori all the survivors as far as I am aware.
-
Not all killers actually kill because they want to. Leatherface, for example, kills because he is afraid. I believe the Entity whispers into his ears that the survivors will discover his family and exploit his fears if he doesn't kill them.
I don't see why the Entity could not make John the Pig, and believe that if the survivors do not escape from him they will fail his game. It's much blunt than his actual games, since it would be him chasing you.
As for his illnesses, the Entity could easily remove them, and even strengthen him the same way other killers are to be able to break pallets and lift survivors etc.
I prefer John as a character from the films, but Hoffman was my favourite.
Amanda is okaaaay I suppose.

You need a clear view of the survivor to fill the stalk metre, regardless of the range.
The survivors stalk aura changes based on how much you have stalked them, if their colours becomes a deep red it means you have stalked them as much as you can and will no longer fill the stalk metre. -

Not much to add that the first few posts have not already mentioned.SWFs have communication, if i'm chasing one of them the other 3 know, and are on separate gens.
SWFs always have DS and BT, there is no consistent counterplay to DS. Juggling only works if there is a hook nearby.
SWFs have every advantage over a game that is already quite stressful as killer at rank 1.
What advantage does a killer have against a 4 man SWF on comms? None.
How can you honestly say with a straight face "all SWFs always use DS and BT." When the same survivors who use those perks, use them wether they're SWF or playing solo lol. THEY'RE THE SAME PEOPLE lolol.
Plus i play SWF and don't use either of those. So there goes your whole argument lol.
What advantage do they have against a 4 man? The same advantages they have against a 4 man team not on coms. You can kill everyone wether they are on coms or are not. Its still the same game. Everyone is acting like SWF dramatically changes the game but it really doesn't.
You gave, quite possibly, the weakest comeback ever.
You as a single survivor with your friends do not represent all SWF groups, if you took my saying "always" so literally, then i'd say 90% of them do. Why? Because at least one of them feels the need to take it for two reasons; either they struggle without it, or they want to be chased and need the crutch. No, not all survivors are the same OP - stop embarrassing yourself. Some survivors play solo and only work for themselves, I do this and have seen others do it.
The fact you think there is not an advantage to having communication made me chuckle and shake my head. Here are the differences between the two:
SWF on comms:- Tells the other 3 survivors who the killer is
- Tells the other 3 survivors where the killer is
- Tells the other 3 survivors where hex totems are
- Tells the other 3 survivors if they are being chased, thus allowing the other 3 to safely work on gens
- Tells the other 3 where hag/trapper traps are
- Tells the other 3 where the killer is going in the event of being hooked
- Tells the other 3 where the hatch is
- Coordinates what items to take, and what perks to take.
- Tells the other 3 who is unhooking who
No solos can do this, so for you to say it's the same is just cringe. You just hate killer mains trying to nerf your easy experience as survivor, it's alright, lots of people do the same thing.
-
Earlier today I had a cocky DS obsession who didn't leave when he had the chance so I downed him right at the exit gates by doing a 180. I used a legit tactic that played against his cocky attitude.
He had DS, and broke free before escaping.
Despite me outsmarting the survivor, the game did not reward me by giving me a hook, it instead slapped me in the face and said "Sucks to be you.". This is why DS is OP.

No. Billy is fine. These threads are starting to feel trolling. Survivor is easy and stress free.

There are fewer pallets where you can mindgame, and even fewer when you are playing as a tall killer. No matter the skill, any survivor can loop and buy their team time to do generators, and on the majority of the maps there is always another pallet close by, sometimes insanely close.

But there is no emotion for the Entity to really feed off, especially hope. So the Entity most likely whispers for the two to ignore each other.

I agree, he doesn't need much skill to be used and he's basically Leatherface on steroids, but he's balanced by the fact that he is loopable just as any other killer.
Funnily enough, I find his chainsaw way more menacing at close range than LF's because it has a big hitbox, it's fast and while revving it he doesn't loose ground, not counting that bumping into objects is not so punishing. Against Bubba you just need to hug a tree or a rock and he's done for, with HB if he's right behind you you're dead unless he [BAD WORD] up.I would say you have those killers mixed up. I would rather 360 a HB than a LF because LF doesn't go charge of. It depends on the killer, survivor and where the two are at close range. Could be opinion I suppose.
-
Thanks for saying you don't want survivors to be a cake walk, a lot of people would assume you do if you don't make that clear. Second, I see why this would make sense in reality, but in-game it would be the worst thing since DS, I will try to explain the best I can.
Killers are against the clock. Putting survivors into the dying state buys us time, because that survivor can no longer do objectives until another comes and heals them (or they have no mither/unbreakable). The best outcome is that other survivors come to heal them, so you can have up to 3 survivors doing no generators, buying the killer time.
If survivors could bring DS, unbreakable and a medkit; slugging no longer becomes a useful tactic. Killers won't even bother downing the obsession because they will just get back up on their own, potentially more than once.
SWFs won't budge from their generators if the killer doesn't pick them up, because the dying survivor will pick themselves up.
If a killer wants the 4K, and wants to down the 3rd survivor to find the 4th before the hatch opens; this becomes much, much harder.

You don't need this add on to be a broken legion. Playing with add ons that reduce the recovery time after frenzy ends are also incredibly strong.
Hit them once, run up to them and cancel ability and they will be extremely close if you have these add ons.
It is not nearly as broken as the FMT, but it still feels way to easy when playing Legion to do this.
FMT being a ultra rare add on sounds interesting, I have to admit.
Ohhhh I know what you mean, the cold dirt and Joey's Mix Tape do have their own strategy but it's completely situational in the sense that if there is a pallet nearby the Survivor will probably reach it.
I would not say Legion is OP and has no counter. I would say he needs a rework however to make him feel more naturally balanced and fit into the tier system without such reliability for add-ons.

so basically that was the longest winded "I lose people as legion sometimes, so you're wrong" I've ever seen. You bring into account my ability to play survivor multiple times in your response, but you ignore the fact that design problems stemming from a killer's lack of ability does not equal counterplay. Every single one of those "answers" revolved around the killer messing up. Thats not how counterplay works.I personally don't hate playing against the legion, but I have seen enough of him from both sides to know what he is and isnt capable of. The point of the discussion is that a legion who does not mess up will never lose a chase vs a survivor of equal or higher skill. The survivor can draw the chase out, but it WILL end in them down unless the legion makes big mistakes. The reason so many people take issue with this is because even the nurse has more counterplay due to her being required to blink to catch up to survivors, and survivors being able to manipulate her landing spots with obstacles as well as LoS blocking and actual mindgames therein.
If you could kindly read my responses properly, as I am doing with your drivel.
I explained that it was a tactic that has worked for me, and against me as Legion, so I am not the only one doing it. In the words of Don King, "If I can do it, you can do it...". Not to mention other people saying the same thing as me on this thread.
Your next comment made me raise an eyebrow, if a killer does not mess up, how do you counter play them exactly? How do you counter a nurse who does not mess up? How do you counter a Hillbilly or a Huntress? I am eager to know, because if they play 100% without fault, they will always win. Every counter play is using the killer's advantage against them.
If you play at 100%, never messing up: You will never lose a survivor lmao it does not matter who the killer is, in fact Legion's chases would be longer than other killers, so the point you try to make here is invalid.
ANY survivor getting chased will eventually get downed, that is how it works. The survivor is not supposed to be able to win a chase by any other means than losing the killer.
You point out Nurse's flaws but you have consistently said that a "Legion who never messes up" has no counterplay, as stated earlier, this applies to Nurse so there was not much point in you saying that.

It is still kind of hard to guess whether your game will be fun or not only by guessing people at the lobby are SWF.I play on PS4, I had to start playing killer more because survivor wait time is ridiculous. I’ve had over 30 minutes of waiting for a game that gets dodged right as I join.
Any Killer will tell you that SWF make trials unfun more often than not. It's not a certainty, but if the majority of trials with SWF are unfun because said SWF are actively trying to be toxic, dodging ALL SWF is simply the natural result.
Ok I'm calling bs on this since swf aren't actively trying to be toxic and you and everyone else using that excuse knows it to be false. Yes I know you're using it as an example but it's a flawed excuse to even be used in the 1st place.
The simple fact of the matter is those dodging lobbies assume whether right or wrong there's a swf in it and even if there is over 60% of the time it's only 2 people. So that gives you 2 solo's that should be easy prey especially given the average should be 2 kills.
If all you're going to do is dodge because you think there's a swf what are you going to do when it's 4 solo's that destroy you because you refuse to face 2 swf or get better?
I've had so many games where the killer after getting wrecked or only getting 1 person sac'd would say I should've dodged toxic swf. This despite the fact that the lobby would fill up over an extended period of time one by one.
But there's this dodgma that anytime a killer does bad it's because swf not because they might make mistakes, or the survivors played just a bit better. Let alone if it's 4 solos that know what they're doing the killer can't play badly and expect to 4k.
If the killer does something such as camp, tunnel, proxy etc. All survivors will give him abuse. People feel more powerful when they are the majority, it’s four voices versus one in the end game lobby. It honestly feels like 85% of SWFs are toxic because they don’t like how you, the killer, isn’t playing by their rulebook.
Ive said it once and I’ll say it again, if it’s end game, I’ll camp. If I see an unsafe hook save; I’m downing the wounded survivor because it’s the same as a survivor seeing a generator on 90% and 0%. -
Okay, got a lot of stuff to tear apart with what you said so I’ll jump right in.Ryuhi said:@The_Trapper said:
Multiple counters to Legion, however I will admit that Frankie's mix tape and dirty blade give him a good buff (Considering he needs a buff). When Legion uses feral frenzy, break the line of sight after being hit, no scratch marks and the speed buff makes it easy to lose him.
When Legion uses feral frenzy, a well timed pallet drop will completely drain him of all his frenzy and stun him.
When Legion doesn't use his frenzy, he can be looped almost as badly as Huntress.
If legion loses you after a single hit, then he was never intending to chase you to begin with. If he was, he's going to be able to get right back on you since the stun doesn't happen until the second hit (after which he will see blood, and scratch marks will load back in while he recovers.) If anything, losing him in this scenario will start your DW timer, giving you less ability to get distance and/or hide before being immobilized. Its not a counterplay.
Trying to hit the legion with a pallet drop isn't impossible, but its absurdly improbable. If you ever get to a pallet in a chase, the legion will pause for a second knowing you want to throw it, then start a staring contest. If you throw the pallet too early (highly likely) then it will miss, he leaps over, and gets a free tag unless he ran out of frenzy (at which point, again, he will see blood and scratch marks spawn in.) Otherwise he will usually lunge through after a moment knowing you wont be able to react fast enough to an attack with 132% movespeed within that short of a distance (especially through latency.) Even if you DO manage to land the pallet smack, he sees blood and scratch marks spawn in, letting him know where you went. Again, not a counterplay.
Legions "not using their frenzy" is not a realistic scenario, since its something that is only ever done by bad legion players 90% of the time. Because of the near impossibility to lose him, its almost always better to just start the frenzy (even on wounded players) and the absurdly-in-your-favor chase that follows. If you can land an m1 without having to chase against someone wounded, that will indeed be optimal. But the moment you need to do a chase you should generally be using FF to make afforementioned looping non-existent. again, not a counterplay.
The common trend here is that when chasing is concerned, the survivor is at the mercy of how good or bad the legion player is. The survivor needs to do everything they can to be efficient outside of chases, and use strategies to mitigate the legions overall effectiveness, but there is no way to actually COUNTERPLAY a legion during an altercation (i.e. a chase.) There are only ways for the legion to lose the chase for himself, and even then he gets an automatic second chance due to the DW timer.
You state it as a fact that if Legion loses you after the first hit he never intended to chase you. False. I play Legion as my joint favourite killer, when I land a hit against rank ones, I always have to do a swift 360 to find them, if there’s plenty of obstacles about; I can lose them. Resort is a good example, or the corn fields. I’ve been both survivor and killer and been part of this, it’s a counterplay - sorry.
Next, you say DW timer prevents you from getting distance, this is true but not to the extent that you imply. Unless Legion has the add on you can easily get enough distance to mend safely provided Legion has not seen you, moving on...
You say the pallet drop isn’t a counterplay, false again. Pallets are a counter for every killer just in difference senses. Bait HB and LF to rev the chainsaw for an extra loop or two. Legion is just a mind game, a game of chicken. He’s the one with a countdown on his ability, he’s always against the clock. If he’s just standing there then you gotta play your timing right since you can either stun him midlunge or buy those precious second or two to run after throwing the pallet down. You might not be good enough to do this, but it’s a counterplay I use frequently.
You have plenty of time to gain distance or simply buy your team extra time, without Frankies mix tape the chases are long AF. After the frenzy ability you have a few seconds of no scratch marks, so that’s extra distance providing you haven’t been seen. Not to mention his low movement speed for the duration of the stun AND the visual impairment.
You say looping a Legion who isn’t using his ability isn’t a counterplay. His low movement speed encourages players to use frenzy, if they don’t, they get punished worse than a trapper or wraith who doesn’t use their ability. False once again, it’s a counterplay.
Other things I didn’t bother mentioning was the fact that Legions chases are longer than most other killers, even when he is using his feral frenzy since he needs 4 hits. I play both sides and feel the difference every time, especially when they try to grab that last hit without using the ability. Any survivor with a brain works on a generator ASAP while someone is being chased.
It’s been incredibly common that when a feral Legion vaults a window during a chase, they run straight past a crouched survivor, I’ve done this myself since so many survivors just run in circles. If it buys that last second before the frenzy flops, it’s a counterplay.
If his playstyle beats your survivor playstyle then that explains a lot, you just need to practice more.
Most of the stuff I mentioned applies to tools survivors use in game, it just requires a slightly different play style to how you use them against other killers.
Thanks for the response though, been a while since I had something to proper rip at haha -

Flashlights are not a problem anymore, I agree with you completely. What makes a survivor toxic is when they throw down a pallet and teabag, on top of that they usually have DS. In my opinion, they are the ones worth camping.

My advice, take as you wish, is to play him more to see how decent survivors counter him. After thousands of hours I´ve faced pretty much any red rank survivor/killer on my platform multiple times so I´m fairly sure I know what decent survivors play like. Billy´s chainsaw is as "situational" as his melee weapon when using instasaw addons and that´s the issue. Bubba´s chainsaw is slow as hell. His chainsaw typically hits with the 4th hit (if the survivor runs in a straight line like a tutorial bot) as his movement speed drops to a lousy 86% while revving the chainsaw if I remember correctly actually allowing survivors to vault in time, reach a pallet or run around objects. Myers needs to stalk AND has a 60 second timer at tier 3 unless he uses Fragrant Tuft Of Hair. Meanwhile Billy´s chainsaw hits over window vaults, while dropping a pallet or even just by randomly sprinting through the map like every game due to his 230% chainsaw speed and he even has 100% movement speed whilerevving his chainsaw. That´s ridiculous. Just my opinion.
I dunno if it's because I play on the PS4 or not but I really wanna know what kind of Billy you play as and against. When I try hitting someone through a window I get stunned. I get looped, and I sure as hell can't get a lot of kills. I can typically survive against a Billy even if he has instasaw, it's hard but possible (Before you say it, I know that's not your argument.) I dunno, but it seems he is pretty okay where he is. He has his limits and quirks, like every other killer.
I understand that the killer tiers are different on each platform. Hillbilly needs high-skill for the high rewards, not to mention good perks such as Ruin and BBQ.
He might be a tad more mobile on PC, I can 'flick' turn at the start if a chainsaw charge. Some maps play in his favour, some don't, it also depends on the survivors.
I watch Tru3Ta1ent, who had specific killer gameplay videos for inspiration, check him out if you wanna get a better idea.
To me, Hillbilly is a lot about knowing the field. I've played enough to know whether or not a survivor can make the pallet or the vault.
Sometimes I have to play a mindgame of revving the chainsaw before they throw down the pallet, if they loop around it; you are in trouble and need to decide whether pursuing the same survivor will be worth it.
When I hook someone; I use BBQ to immediately chainsaw charge over to the next survivor. I heavily advise using enduring and spirit fury, since Hillbilly eats through pallets.
If you have any questions, or even want me to upload a poor quality game of my Billy I will, he can be a terrifying killer but by no means would I consider him OP.

The best way to rage quit is to get chased with some good distance between you and the killer.
With the killer able to see you; jump into a locker and leave the game.
Killer opens the locker and you're no longer there.
Survivor escaped the entity and went to Narnia.

Would you rather:
1) A rank 1, 4 man, SWF on comms with 4 DS and purple flashlights
2) A competitive, rank 1, 4 man SWF on comms Asian team with no perks or items. -

sounds like you just struggle.
I say he´s op and you immediately think I´m a survivor main who struggles against him. That´s ridiculous. I´m a 50/50 player and I honestly don´t know if I have ever lost a game when playing Billy. He´s just that easy to play. You can pretty much always chainsaw people instead of using the melee weapon especially when using instasaw addons. I even get vault or pallet chainsaws like everytime I play him. It´s just ridiculous how people consider him "balanced".
Haven't called you directly a survivor main have I?
I am a killer main who plays survivor for a lack of challenge and to relax. I'm rank 8 survivor at the moment and rank 1 killer, max ranked every killer aside from Hag and Spirit.Hillbilly is very balanced, fact. His chainsaw is situational, survivors can vault, throw pallets, dead hard and 360. It sounds like you have a real chip on your shoulder about him but the majority of this thread does not agree with what you are saying.
My advice, take as you wish, is to play him more to see how decent survivors counter him.
If you are stuck in the open then that's your fault. Every killer thrives from being right behind you, if being able to down you in one shot is really a problem then you should probably ask for Myers and Leatherface to be nerfed too. While we are at it, should exposed be removed too? Lmao

Hillbilly is great, high-skill for high rewardHolding one button at point blank range takes high skill?
I can't even remember the last time I got into that situation since there are more than enough vaults and pallets to loop, sounds like you just struggle.

Hillbilly is great, high-skill for high reward but can also be punished heavily during mindgames.
When I play survivor I love to bait that chainsaw for a pallet I don't even throw down just to get a few extra loops in.
Too many survivor mains who suck, wanting another balanced killer watered down to their taste. You know they are the type of people who have ketchup with steak.
