  • Join a ladder group if you want the fastest results for yourself, as for survivor and looping you have to get accustomed to looking behind you in the right moments and identifying where your checkspots are at each pallet that is safe, not every pallet is a loopable area and is just meant for filler or a last ditch pallet as I call them where it's the only option available otherwise you wouldn't ever go to it, the best advice I can give is to identify tiles that are close together that you can turn into your own loop by connecting them together for example:

You have killer shack, a decent pallet just outside the window at shack, and then a LT wall on the other side of that pallet, well you can absolutely bet that in your whole life I'm not gonna throw those pallets unless I really have to and I'm gonna loop those three tiles back and forth until they leave or eat a five gen run at that setup.

  • It's really map dependant in my opinion, in a small map nemesis has the advantage due to the zombies and his ability already being similar to the tail of the Xenomorph, but on larger maps the zombies aren't as effective for nemesis where xenomorph has some mobility and no infection to apply before an injury, so in a sense their chase powers are similar but they're opposites in terms of what maps they're strong on due to the zombies giving nemesis the edge in a smaller setting.

  • The problem that happens with this community when new games come out is instead of thinking in a mindset that DBD is a OG they're the pioneers making the trail for these other people, they start comparing them in a way to pit them against eachother and then some people will just find little things wrong with a game just starting out and make videos on why that games gonna be dead and then it slowly does die regardless of the great potential it may have, so what necessarily are the games doing wrong? Nothing , people are just too impatient and want to compare it to a game that's been out almost a whole decade now with funding and changes.

  • Maybe I'm just biased but I think Freddy isn't as bad as some try to make him out to be

It’s an indie horror game inspired by Silent Hill, with very retro aesthetics. It came out a week or two ago.

Wow this one looks pretty neat thanks! I've always been a big silent hill fan.

I would never base a map's strength off the weakest killer though, because they don't represent the average at all. I rather base off the strength of maps on A tier or B tier killers, because that's where killers should be strength wise.

Yes but we're talking about survivor maps so the weakest killer would show the full strength of the map for survivors in general because it's a m1 killer, if you took the weakest killer to every map in this game you would struggle more on gideons due to the double floors and the 6-7 god pallets in the map that no other map has anymore, and regardless of how you slice it that safety still transfers over to the other killers and they have to deal with it too. If you're going to argue for A-B tier killers than the maps at the top will constantly change depending on who the killer is just due to their abilities, a good example is hawkins being a bad map for nurse due to the amount of walls and spots you get screwed out of your blink on even though nurse is the strongest killer that doesn't mean hawkins is the strongest map for survivors just because it's not her best map

Gideon for sure has the most safe pallets of any map, but it's also a very small map that allows killers to apply a lot of map pressure, therefore I don't consider it the worst killer map in the game.

But you're forgetting it's also two floors that have to be traversed for gen patrol, a good squad that separates with all those god pallets can easily waste a ton of time and any killer that doesn't have a mobility will struggle more on that map than anywhere else due to that, just for a reference I base map strength off of the weakest killer in the games potential there because it shows the true strength of the map

  • Because I like to play killers people consider weak so last year I started maining freddy, to me it's more challenging than bringing nurse whom I've got thousands of hours on and trying to slug everyone in under a minute and a half, I seriously used to be that guy when I was doing comp who would go into pubs when my squad wasn't on and set a timer for 1 min 30s and if I couldn't slug everyone in that time frame I lost in my mind but still played the game out like normal, nowadays I enjoy the excitement these weaker killers give me as far as chases and just interactions in general even if I lose because it's way more fun this way for me personally, and I don't have some ridiculous standard I'm trying to uphold I'm just having a good time

That usually is the recommended solution, sadly. "Stop lunging everywhere!" they say as 90% of hits against good survivors straight-up don't happen without a lunge.

This isnt right but im not hating I said the same thing before i got clarification, when you lunge that's how survivors abuse your aim dressing and you can verify that if you want, when you hold the button it draws the swing out for longer allowing then to use the giant killer collision box against them unless it's at a pallet and a window where they can't move, I complained about this year's ago on the steam forums and a dev actually stated if I move a little closer and short attack while kinda angling the direction of the survivor it will auto lock on them I seriously haven't had the problem with that since then and movement was worse at that time the helicopter 360s were still in the game

They are not all new, but I can definitely recommend them:

    • Elden Ring (DLC dropps soon so its really fun to get into the mood / the game is just a blast tbh)
    • Dead Space remake (played it recently without having any former experience with the franchise and was blown away by the quality and gameplay)
    • Resident Evil 2,3,4 remake (am currently playing the remake of the 4th title and its been great so far. I personally liked the 3rd one the most (despite it being the shortest and seemingly most disliked out of the 3))
    • Octopath Traveler 2 (one of my all time favourite games ever. Insanely high quality when it comes to soundtrack, focus on detail and gameplay. You have to like JRPGs though and the HD2D - art style)
    • Paper Mario and the thousand year door (if you want a funny story and have a switch to play it, the remake of this classic is a lot of fun)
    • Bioshock games are always a blast for me (2nd has the best gameplay IMO, first has the best story)

These are just some of the games I really enjoy. Depends oon what you like to play in general.

I'm checking into octopath traveler I've never heard of that one, thanks!

  • Pc is easier but only because it's impossible for console to match the sensitivity level which allows a pc player a little more of an edge on curves with the chainsaw, though I will say hardware doesn't matter you could have the best pc in the world and be terrible with billy.

  • Thanks I just checked it out it looks pretty sick I'm buying it now

  • Everyone's experience is different I've made some really good friends on this game, I've got over 15k hours and still friend new players in my lobbies because I enjoy showing people the ropes and helping them meet others like me so they have a good experience when they play, it's what you make of it and what you put in, I'm not saying your experience is wrong or that people don't have sucky attitudes sometimes, but if you be positive and put positive energy out there it will come back to you, this is a hard game to just jump into when you have people who have been playing for years to get where they are, I recommend to try playing with friends you'll be laughing before you know it at all the stuff that upset you before

  • I can't believe people don't have Gideons in the top, in my opinion that's the most survivor sided map in the whole game, the amount of God pallets on that map are unreal and no other map has that much safety, the only map that could outdo it in terms of saftey has been gone and that was the old crotus prenn disturbed ward with like 6-7 god pallets in main building alone not counting the rest of the map, majority of the maps now have like 2-3 god pallets and my definition of that is a pallet you must break in order to continue chase, j I'm talking like shack pallet where you're not gonna leave it down and catch a good survivor there.

most don’t know how to play against her she’s literally an M1 killer with undetectable that’s it the little 2% haste is what makes them cry and moan just learn how to play a killer different from most .

Lol that's why she's boring to me, she's not strong at all but it's just a basic m1 killer with no real power to outplay, the tile you're already at is literally her weakness because she can't negate any safety

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3729075#Comment_3729075

So your solution is to just never ever lunge at a survivor? Because I’ve had many times where the survivor starts their 360 immediately when I’ve started holding the M1 button.

Idk about that person, but me personally I don't lunge unless I'm contesting a pallet or window because the way the aim dressing is on killers it's easily abused when you lunge but if you get a touch closer than you are now barely missing and just tap the button it will auto lock on the survivor and that was stated by peanits on here a long timeago because with the old movement it used to be alot worse they could do helicopter 360s and the aim dressing would screw you over alot.

  • Skull merchant is boring they all try to play the same in my matches anyway. The drones are more annoying than a hindrance and the way they changed her still didn't fix that issue, for me anyway I like a more interactive killer with a exciting power, I think console players probably hate her for the same reason they dislike Pinhead and its because the button is the same for disarming a drone and dropping a pallet, like breaking the chains for Pinhead , so if you know you're against console survivors with skull merchant you can place the drones on the edges of pallets forcing them to loop the opposite way to avoid that edge side or they get stuck disarming a drone instead of throwing a pallet or at least that's what some friends I have on console have complained about with her.

I don't think anything he described had to do with especially getting screwed by RNG bar the map and even that doesn't explain the gen speeds entirely. You could even put zero perks on him with a bad map at his skill in deathslinger and gens shouldn't be going like that if the game was balanced well.

He said the gens were done in 4 minutes and some change basically which isn't really that insane, I would have to see the specific match video he's speaking about to know for sure but I would be willing to bet he over committed to a chase in a area where gens were already done, not only that but he had a 2k sealed with a chance at more and they got the unhook and bodyblocked out , without seeing a video we can't really do anything but assume what could've happened I will say even good killers make mistakes too and sometimes a small mistake can cost you big and that's really something that both roles deal with

  • @Blueberry said:

You really should look up some of his videos. He is literally one of the go to Slinger guides on youtube. The farthest thing from a skill issue.

I looked him up he's a good slinger but still even a good killer can be screwed by RNG sometimes , getting bad perks and bad map for a certain killer against a competent squad who separates on gens is going to be a challenge no matter who you are, it's no different than chaos shuffle giving me no Mither, self care, reactive healing, and second wind yesterday , it's still winnable but RNG royally ######### me over there making the game alot harder than normal. I almost screenshot it just to post it on here and show the greatest chaos shuffle build lol

Punishing people who want out isn't the answer. Not being able to self unhook just means people afking on hook or running towards killers or worse sandbagging. Taking people's agency away doesn't force them to comply and be a good team mate. It will only exasperate the situation. No matter what your feelings are you can't and behavior can't force people to play with they have preceived a situation they don't like.

Banning isn't going to work as the game honestly can't afford to lose that many players lol. And other then vote kick system that replaces people with bots that will never be implemented or removal of the DC penalty the path of least resistance is and always will be dying on hook

Edit: a removal of the struggle and bleed out also making unhooking people less urgent which may result in people being stuck waiting not playing for extended periods of time for better or worse people rush for unhooks because no one likes hanging there and every additional second is more motivation to not play or struggle off

I never mentioned banning but I think removal of the unhooks will help because the whiners will quit playing when they can't nope out of any match they dont like just because it's a certain killer or map, I'm going to continue to punish them until BHVR does something I'd be expecting threads in the future of these people complaining they're being reassured while trying to give up and spam unhooked so they can't give up afterwards, if they want to ruin my game I'm gonna make sure they dodge everytime they see me in a lobby that way I'm eventually stuck with only people who want to play this game and not give up. If more people joined me these players would either stop doing this or quit playing when they're being reassured and t bagged everytime

How do you even get a Flashbang save? I miss every time I try. Can you do it when they're carrying survivors or just when they pick up? I'm my own counter to fb saves at this point lol

You can do both but the pick up one has to be timed correctly as to where the other way doesn't but it's extremely easy to avoid unless you do it in situations where they round a corner to hook someone and it just explodes in their face, anyone who sees and hears a flashbang drop while carrying a survivor will almost always avoid it unless they just dont know better from inexperience , but OP is referring to BP and flashbang being bugged to allow clipping inside the body I believe

  • That would be awesome, if they made like a little lab area main building and then had some normal tiles around the outside with a field of the pustula flowers or whatever they're called that he extracted from to create the serum, that way it's like a mixture of a few different maps a little bit of macmillan, autohaven, and coldwind type environment is what I could see it being.

  • I only see that happen to people who stand still after a blind to wait for it to go away or people who try to just mindlessly keep running straight after breaking a pallet, instead try looking down while listening after a pallet break and you'll hear the survivors most of the time and can keep up while also forcing the ones who try to get double blinds to lose distance they would've had just w keying to the next tile, I don't recommend looking up even though it has the same effect as looking down but the difference is you feel like you have a little more control while looking down as to where looking up kinda makes your camera go wonky and it can take a little longer to readjust to the chase than it would by looking down but maybe that last part is just me IDK

  • @Blueberry said:

Remove the ability to remove yourself on hook.

I just can’t disagree more with people saying it’s a game issue. People keep listing all these reasons for giving up in a game relating to losing, perks, playstyle ect. Okay let’s be honest here, the vast majority of DCs and give ups have nothing to any of this, people are giving up or DCing in most cases in their first hook or within the first 60 seconds of the game. Before any of these points are relevant. It is not because of how the match is going.

The main reason people are doing this is because of entitlement. They messed up on their first chase, they don’t like the killer, or they don’t like the map.

I also couldn’t disagree more with people saying survivors don’t have a come back mechanic. It’s literally a good chase..that’s it. I mainly play solo queue as well and my win rate is in the high 70s%. These problems people have are mainly skill issues but it’s easier to make excuses instead of taking accountability and improving at the game, which won’t happen if they give up every time.

This is good I wish they would totally remove the ability to unhook yourself without slippery meat on and then change the perk so you can attempt to unhook yourself twice without going into struggle.

Either this or everyone on the forums need to come together with me and start reassuring these players to troll them back and make it miserable so they DC and you can unhook the bot to go back to normal play.

  • Rng can play alot into that as well don't forget that, I personally don't think rpd is a good map for slinger unless you're lucky enough to catch a survivor in a open hallway or the alleyway most of the trial is going to be spent following survivors in and out different rooms as a 110 killer , thats really not a favorable set up with all the LOS blockers for a killer like slinger , not saying the survivors weren't ultra focused on gens or anything just maybe if you were a different killer you would've had a different outcome, I'd chalk it up to bad luck more than I would it being an unbalance, you're playing chaos shuffle without a real build and a killer on a map that doesn't favor his ability.

  • I don't worship the devs but there's a huge difference between giving balance ideas and attacking peoples personal character with name calling and overboard comments that just have no business being here, I would rather have a forum where the devs are more active instead of just community banter

  • @VampireHimbo said:

This is extremely false. I know people love victimization and fetishize it like crazy but to pretend the devs were insulted in this place where any sort of criticism towards them meets you with quick censorship (the moderators sometimes even edit your comments to make it say whatever they want it to say, extremely creepy thing to do) is ridiculous.

Moderators wouldn't stand it for a second if anything negative was said about any Dev even if the Dev in question does or say questionable things.

So I don't get hwy lie about that like to paint the Devs coming here as victim and evil strawmen insulting them as the reason they left. There are explanations for everything really so no need to lie!

Obviously you weren't here then and have no clue what you're speaking about anyone who was around know I'm right, peanitz used to be a regular just like you or me back then on here, the devs used to come out and talk on here alot and respond to engage in conversation and people would troll them and be rude and get banned and make new accounts and come back I'm not lying and I don't care if you believe me or not you're just showing how little you really know by what you're arguing about, those developers are long gone anyways they've left for different projects, not queen, McLean, horvath, almo, etc... the original team we used to speak to is gone besides Mathieu.

  • Genrushing doesn't exist anymore, the term came when the old brand new part was here and 4 survivors could all bring one and insta pop 4 gens in under ten seconds and people have just clinged on to the term ever since, but at this state of the game you can't pop multiple gens like that fast anymore so it's not truly a genrush, the equivalent would be someone complaining about hook rushing and downing survivors too fast, both sound ridiculous because they're just doing an objective and in my opinion I feel like the gens are fine now, I got so accustomed to the abuse we use to face as a killer that this all seems easy now I won't play a top tier killer because it's boring I find the weaker killers still bring me joy in having a good action packed match as to where back then it was the opposite I used to only play top tier and never touch the weaker ones.

This is absolutely fine approach for bHVR to take. I just hope they wont stop reading the forums, cause thats what we are here for.

I personally think they stopped truly reading years ago, the actual developers use to communicate a lot more on here, but you know this community just loves to ruin a good thing and people started responding to comments the devs made with insults and a little over the line criticism in my opinion, slowly but surely they've stopped all together and we only really see Mandy and Rizzo on here now to tame the crowd when they get too wild and not people who are actively designing and coding this game giving us what insight they were allowed like before.

    2. Prestiges means absolutely nothing and I don't know why everybody always brings that up (not a jab at you) I can be a (example) level 30 pig and still get a 4k Prestiges mean nothing
    3. I could honestly care less if I survived or died, BULLYING someone over winning (or losing) a game is NOT going to fly by me as I've said before I don't care If you're a baby killer or a veteran killer bullying is a no no
    4. Although you didn't bring this up (others did) I didn't mean (or even realize) I put the killers name in the photo (which I have since blacked out) cause that was not my intention, I showing a ridiculous thing to say while pretty much winning a (video) GAME
    5. Yeah I was bragging about surviving cause it's not every match I make it out while being tunneled but it's honestly not important so Ig I take responsibility for that... 🤔
    6. These discussions are for everybody to talk about whatever dbd, it's (excluding reddit) the only place to talk about dbd, it doesn't matter about what.

Are y’all ever going to acknowledge that the pallets are not working as intended and sucking the survivor too close to the pallet. It’s also not stunning killers properly either how it should be and they’re close to it. It’s been like this for over a month and I don’t like it. Acknowledge it and fix it NOW!

I definitely agree with this something very strange and clunky has been going on with pallets but not all of them, its forced me to not be as greedy at some and just take the few loops I got out of it and toss it so I don't risk getting stuck in the pallet again, a month ago on midwich I threw the bathroom or whatever it is room pallet by the basement and was inside the edge of it after stunning the killer and they just went around and looked at me not able to move and got me for free I was hanging onto the edge of the pallet moon running in place lol

  • I had an idea for corrective action being buffed you guys tell me what you think:

You start the trial with 3 tokens, whenever the killer kicks a generator the regression of the gen repairs itself at a -50% speed until the regression is erased and a token is consumed

So in this situation let's say you're unlucky the killer had pain res and you only got the gen back to normal only for the killer to come kick it with pgtw and give it a huge double regression before they start chasing you, well this wouldn't take the gen all the way back up to where it was it would simply stop it from regressing even further than the huge percentages it already has dropped at that point so it doesn't erase what the killer did it just keeps the gen from totally losing everything and going back to 0

Very much was being chased all game and was going to give my self up for my teammate who was being tunneled but he found her before I could

So how is the killer tunneling and camping your teammates while simultaneously chasing you the whole game? That's the only part that confuses me l think, do you have a video of the game for us to enjoy?

  • I don't get why this is a topic all I see is a survivor group that lost to a prestiged 0 skull merchant by 3k and the only one that survived the teams massacre had sole survivor on, how in the world is this something to brag about? Lmao

  • I would have shot and reeled her just out of the gate and held onto it to waste the deep wounds, most survivors expect you to swing immediately in that scenario as soon as theyre close to you and they'll let you reel them right in with no resistance so that you hurry up to eat that deep wounds before it's gone , but if you ever see a for the people assume they both have deep wounds is a good rule of thumb because nobody is just gonna pick up in your face to both go down unless they're trolling.

    This is my opinion.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/B3HICCVA2EN2/image.png

Any competent killer will win at a 3 man 5 gen scenario, if those survivors win that game it says more about how that killer doesn't belong in that lobby than it does the survivors being good, Now is it impossible to win? No but it's extremely unlikely just depending on how fast they wanted out of the match, if 3 people are separated on gens and they all are about to pop when it happens I could argue that the survivors have the advantage at that point because you have 2 gens left with 3 survivors, but if they flat out just give up and get themselves on a hook instantly because they don't like the killer or map and gens haven't even had time to get to halfway then it's a loss against anyone who isn't a brand new player or bad, the only chance you really stand at that point is if you were a SWF instead of solo.

To be honest, None at all

You don't want to get in the habit of being add on dependant it's better to learn the raw base kit of the killer so you understand more about what they can do just standard , also it will help you understand what effects the add ons will have based off of how you play the game as a killer and will have more knowledge on how to properly combo them.

It is not very smart but it isn't what we can call a sandbag thing I guess. But I don't have the perfect meaning of sandbag anyway.
I thought it was something like in the cartoon above: bodyblocking the only way to go out of the survivor during a chase or bodyblocking him when he's cleansing a totem.

    'at least DC '

don't say that, you are mean and it is not authorized and even it is sanctioned if you encourage bad behaviour & unsportmanlike conduct on the forum…

No it's not sanctioned I'm afraid you're wrong there because DCng isn't even reportable in fact it says not to report it because they already punish those players and you can DC for any real life emergency and the timer will be gone by the time youre back, it's not mean at all to say that, what's mean is someone loading up into every other match and ending themselves on hook because they don't like the map, killer, or perks, they're ruining the game from the get go by doing that, and to be clear I don't do it to everyone who decides they want out only the people who do it right from the beginning just because they're salty

  • @n000b51 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3727169#Comment_3727169

Isn't working with the killer ? Honestly this behaviour is worst than a sandbag, you don't accept other to give up but you spend 1 minute or more to do NOTHING for your teammate neither. Finally you are giving up too and the killer is just as bad as you.

@Agaki: you can't be sure what have the others 'players' in mind when they have launched the game. Be ready for everything, because everything happens in this game and often it's worst that you have expected. So until to are out, because cautious, they can sandbag until the opened exit gate…

I really don't care if they want to ruin my game I'm gonna have a blast ruining theirs and laughing the whole time, don't load up the game just to end yourself at least DC so your team gets a bot if you want to quit that bad but once one survivor is gone with 5 gens remaining unless the killer is terrible it's a lost cause anyway the game was already ruined, and majority of the time the other survivors help too and I'm gonna continue to do it

  • The only time I sandbag my team is when someone trys to end themselves on hook immediately into the game, when that happens I run over there as fast as I can to reassurance them and T bag in their face until the timer runs out and then tap the unhook button over and over until they die and alot of times the killer will join in and hit them with me because they don't like it either

  • It depends on the killer I guess but figuring out the tightest path to loop is very important against most killers but against the unknown it's not always a good move due to his ability, I'll use a good example though with huntress

She's a 110 killer so getting the most out of every loop is important she's already slower than other killers and if she pulls a hatchet at the pallet everytime you're going to want to be hugging to get distance around the loop before she can throw the hatchet and everytime she pulls her hatchet she loses bloodlust so you can essentially keep her at one pallet for a very long time if you play it right in that situation and not throw the pallet for a free hatchet hit on yourself.

But if you don't hug the loops she can catch you with a m1 without struggling and not even have to use a hatchet because you're losing distance at every corner and against a 115 killer not hugging loops leads to an easy 2 tap, but like others have stated you have to find a way to loop tight without getting caught on things which is where the challenge lies

  • Before you move up to a hard killer I'd get better acquainted with a intermediate killer, if you jump straight to nurse you're gonna have a miserable time against survivors who have years of experience against more skilled nurse players, your best bet is to work your skill level up with killers like demo, oni, pinhead, Wesker, onryo, unknown etc... they're not OP but in order to be good enough to consistently compete against good survivors your basic chase skills and knowledge has to be there, once you feel like you can at least compete with using those type killers I'd move up to Blight, Nurse, or The Hillbilly at that point because now you have some skill and knowledge to go with it and instead of having a miserable time you'll have a easier time and enjoy yourself while learning the killer, most of the advanced killers have very punishing downsides for not performing well

  • I don't stick around JUST to T bag but if the killer is there I give a couple of goodbye bags and same with hatch , I'm not meaning anything toxic by it though, there needs to be more emotes so people don't get confused, theres a difference between a couple bags and dipping out, and sitting there for the full timer bagging until the last second

  • I might draw some hate for this one but Wesker, I just know it's gonna be a easy game when I already hear the terror radius from a mile away. He has no real anti loop and his power is easy to dodge or force him to vault when he doesn't want to, also his dash being straight he can't always traverse the map fast it's situational.

You know who else is getting old..?

Me, ill be 50 before I know it.

  • It got nerfed after dowsey made a video showing how he could use a certain build to achieve a slowdown that took nearly 3 mins to complete a gen, once that video dropped alot of people tried to copy it and you know how the devs are when stuff becomes popular.

  • I know alot of people don't use this perk but Reactive Healing is severely underrated, if you bring a medkit and only heal after someone has taken a hit or two you've saved yourself a ton of time by just being able to focus a gen and then as soon as someone is downed you're more than likely already close to healed anyway for a quick reset and in a Swf it's especially strong in hit tanking builds like a Sabo build with reactive healing and a couple of mettle of man thrown in there is absolutely deadly and can even be near unwinnable without having any mangled effects on against a good squad because any pressure you start to get can be reversed, if you're being chased sand your buddy runs in for a protection hit he just halfway healed you and gained a stack at the same time in 1 sec and if one more takes a hit the other is half healed and you're literally a couple taps from healing mid chase negating all the pressure

  • Nobody wants 30 minute lobbies of people constantly dodging and breaking the game, I love TCM I'll admit it but I can't take the lobby times I don't have a unlimited amount of time to play and I'd like to get more than 2 matches in before I have to do something else

I think DbD has a pretty big journey vs destination problem. The devs seem fairly hyper focused on the 60% kill rate target, but you have to arrive there in an organic way.

It often feels like matches are scheduled wins and losses where there's little to no outcome variance if that same match was played 10 times. Teammates are often so bad that the game isn't winnable, or the killer is so overmatched that they only manage a couple hooks. Trials are very often complete blowouts in one direction or the other. The actual close, tense trials that could go either way are the rarity. It's another relic of symmetrical pvp SBMM taken without context for DbD and its asymmetry.

This is absolutely true and even though alot of people weren't big fans I'd like to bring ranks back and depipping, it wasn't perfect by any means but it's better than we have now, last night my squad got a 4 man out on a p100 Blight who was seriously cracked with some of his plays and did really well it literally came down to 2 plays at the end game that cost him a 2k, then we turn around and get a prestiged 0 trapper who cant catch anyone and he goes to the corner to sit ,only in the endgame do i see he has 10 hours in the game.... 10 against a squad with more than 40,000 combined hours, that should never happen in any game that claims to care about balance , I friend requested him and invited him to my group to teach him more but it just shows how bad the MMR system is in this game.
