Downvotes really made this forums more toxic
-
First off did you use AI to make this and second it's an original chapter people interested will just use shards to get her
-
Twins needs to be reworked anyways these changes make it more so needed

Soo uhh im not familiar with the folklore, will the head detatch and possess us attacking our own teammates? And floating head
Its basically diet Twins head Detaches and you control it to injured and deep wounds a survivor

Funny enough I saw your YouTube channel today and now your here lol

Just for the record, his ridiculous hit box, zooming across map to return to hook with basically no counterplay are why I hate the killer. THe kidnap tech didn't make the top 5 things about the ghoul that frustrated me
Auto Aim hitscan free hit, Scamper, very short leap cancel cooldown, Pallet break token recharge does nothing.
Kidnap Tech was really just the icing on the Cake and the main cake part was the actual frustrations Survivors have on ghoul

The recent sound clip seems to sound like someones head detatching from the body so it might end up that way lol
Yep have to agree seems this is the route we're going
-
Its a filter to weed out bad killers who can only tunnel

is the Ghoul supposed to just stand there while the survivor makes free distance?
No he'll do his little blood drinking animation and besides he can catch up his mobility is insane

I would like to ask about this change from the patch notes
"Increased the additional time added to Weakened when injured by a UVX projectile."
What does that mean exactly?. Will it be increasing the weakened time after injuring a survivor or fully refreshing the weakened effect when injuring a survivor?
Thank you
I think basically it refreshes but with more time added enough for a 2nd shot if you miss the first

@4thdslip said:
Going to get downvotes for this, but what do you want nerf wise for the Ghoul? List issues and solutions to it, just to show that you're serious and can actually point out what makes him worse than Nurse and Blight.
I listed the issues in a response post here to Mandy but If i were to offer solutions he should just be reworked his design simply gives to much reward for little effort compared to other S tiers like nurse and blight.
But if it were just to be nerfs or simple changes
Ghoul:
Scamper Removed
Grab attack no longer locks Survivor in place during animation
Kagune Leap power cancel increased by 3 seconds
-
@Mandy said:
The most frustrating part about The Ghoul from survivor side, was his "kidnap tech", by removing that we feel that this will open the door for survivors to have counterplay to the killer, we've already seen this happening amongst survivors even with kidnap tech.
Respectfully no Mandy what makes Ghoul frustrating for Survivors is his core design the Kidnap Tech was mearly an unintended annoyance that added to his main frustrations.
Ghouls Main Frustrations for Survivors:
Auto Aim Grab attack: Survivors see this as frustrating cause it's basically a free hit a no skill Auto Aim hit scan grab attack that locks Survivors in place and injures and gives you deep wounds
Scamper: if it was to broken for Chucky what made you think it would work for Ghoul? Needless to say since Ghouls always enraged if you drop the pallet Ghoul will scamper and get the hit before you can loop around in time so your screwed either way.
Kagune Leap landing Cooldown: a major frustration for Survivors is his very short cooldown when landing next to survivor. Ghoul leaps, cancels his power and land next to the survivor and M1 and due to his insane mobility and short cooldowns a survivor can't make enough distance in time to reach a pallet or Vault and it feels like there's nothing you can do against him most of the time.
Ghoul is considered the easiest S-tier Killer due to his extremely low Skill ceiling that produces high reward thanks to how he was designed. Stiers like Blight and Nurse at least require a lot more mechanical skill to produce the same reward Ghoul gets.

The kidnap tech was one of the biggest complaints. Chill.
No its really not

I'm guessing Killers like Sadako and Pig that can instakill would have to be opted out of the system or maybe a lessened version like they did to mobility killers when getting unique hooks
-
Skill issue clearly

I feel like the big issue is the word "total". If it DID mean you got to get up 90 seconds after being downed, that would be one thing. This sounds like itll trigger once the bleedout bar hits 62.5% full no matter how many downs it took to get there. On the ground for 30 seconds 3 times? Same thing.
Ryan clarify it was 90s after being down not the second thing you said

Oh gosh, you absolutely don't. It's a good question. What we mean by this is that when a Survivor is hooked multiple times in a row, which directly results in them dying, this effect would come into play.
For the whole match?

@Reinami said:

Again you are missing the scenario in place.
- Get hooked
- Get unhooked
- Heal up
- Work a gen to regain collision
- Throw myself at the killer to body block
- If killer hooks me, they are punished for "tunneling"
- If killer slugs me, they are punished for "slugging"
- If the killer ignores me, they can't because i'm body blocking.
If the collision thing is permanent (as in i can always walk through the survivor i just hooked) then sure maybe that's fine.
Then you are out for 90 seconds and killer can go for somebody else. Your overreacting
-
@Reinami said:

Elusive is not part of OTR, you can body block with it.
The problem i have with the system is it seems to be abusable. If a survivor is unhook, they can just throw themselves at me now to body block for their team after they get healed up and i can't do anything. If i hook them, i get punished, if i don't hook them, i get punished.
Again unhooked survivors lose Collision you can just walk threw them. They can't bodyblock anymore
-
Unhooked survivors won't have collision you can just walk right through them

I think getting base kit pop and BBQ is pretty substantial, tbh.
Every single other downside effect is completely avoided by not tunneling until hook 6 and is completely within the killers control.
People on the reddit side made a good point about the penalties what about it sadako or pig gets a condemn and headpop early are they punished for that?
-
Well going by the text the add-ons have been reworked so I'm guessing they got changed sadly to his new ability Slaughtering Strike
-
@Dwight_Fairfield said:
As a long, long time Mikey main my first impression is these are awesome.
He gets undetectable base kit, something he always should have had. He is still a creepy stalker to charge up his new ability. He can tombstone death hook survivors. They're still keeping his identity which was my biggest concern.
They have now given him some solid anti loop in his kit. I mean as good as you can give an M1 killer. Faster pallet breaking and endures stuns quicker, while having base kit coup and keeping the fast vault speed.
Obviously I need to see all this in action but I am loving what I am reading.
Agreed pretty excited to see this on ptb

Punishiments for not playing "correctly" are not incentives. If anything all these changes do is make killer more frustrating, because now you have more things to manage to avoid getting these massive punishments while getting less information.
Except you do get incentives if you do play without tunneling more regression more haste and more info if you do play fairly
- Bonus damage for the next generator kick.
- Temporary Haste status effect.
- Temporarily reveals Survivors (think basekit BBQ & Chili) that have less or equal hook states to the hooked Survivor.
-
@AmpersandUnderscore said:
Unless they give something like an endurance effect for even a couple seconds when you get up, this won't do much to prevent the killer from camping one slug and just instantly downing them again.
But it would be helpful in the "slug everyone at 5 gens" issue since you can't camp more than one slug at a time.
Maybe soul guard will be more brought?
-
@Crowman said:
It doesn't seem like the boosts killers get for not tunneling outweigh what survivors get to fight tunneling. Which I think is a problem, because part of why tunneling is a problem in the first place is the lack of reward for not tunneling so this is just nerfs.
Well it does give some incentives we do have to wait to see the numbers though to see how good it i.
However I don't think meta Killers like nurse blight ghoul should get this incentives at all.

And his new tier 3 can now mori survivors death on hook with grab thats great now real question is will this bypass antitunnel like current tombstone or it wont this is quite important.
Overall finnaly mayers got some love after many years left in the dark corner for like 7 years. Its good because his chapter is the one which gave this game first licensed killer and made it more popular, one of key reasons why this game still exist in 2025.
I think I'm misreading it but I believe it just works like Pyramid head but you just grab them instead of downing on there death hook
-
I think it's nice Survivors get basekit Tenacity.
However I believe 90 seconds until you can pick yourself up is to long and a more fair time would be 60 seconds
-
I think these are great changes! protections for Survivor, incentives for killers who play fair, hefty penalties for Killers who Tunnel hooking Tunneled Survivors prevents killer from regressing gens (Wonder if this will prevent Regression and Slowdown perk as well?)
Killing Tunneled Survivors gives major Gen speed increase I wonder what the percent is?

The karasue has a body and exists as a normal person in the day time. It hides the body away and sperates from it at night to go feeding. It's sort of vampire-like. The body is it's weakness. I'd assume a killer like this would be whole and detaching the head would be the power. As I said above, it could be like Victor, and maybe if a survivor finds the body they can cancel the power or something.
If that's the case I really don't think we need another Twins situation would not be good for the game
-
Meh it's ok gotta see what they do for me to be interested

Yes it does

Floating head + intestines that flies around eating peoples insides.
But who knows if thats what itl be lol
That's kinda goofy not really scary what would she even do kill survivors with her organs?

Mostly it’s lingering dislike from when his scamper was stronger and his playstyle was just “follow survivors under every pallet and get the hit regardless.”
I don’t think his hate is justified still but, I think that’s the cause.
Makes sense but if people are still hating him now is just a you problem
-
@09SHARKBOSS said:
very glad neither came to 2v8 because 1 Chucky is one of the most hated killers overall and 2 clown would need only nerfs to be able to be in 2v8
How is Chucky the most hated? He's a shell of his former self

I'm definitely doing that for sure 100% no doubt😂
Seriously, Oni didn't needed buffs and Legion needs to go or be much tweaked for 2v8. You can't play around his power by being injured if there's another killer.
Wesker was buffed in a perfect way IMO.
The faster vault and extra dash are in tone of the large number of pallets and map sizes respectively.I disagree with the Wesker faster vault we dont need scamper Wesker that should revert that tbh
-
A completely reasonable take

She alone is bad at getting downs especialy on safe loops which are many in 2v8.
Her ambush is definitely getting buffed in 2v8 no doubt to combat these loops
-
@PetTheDoggo said:
Pig's traps might be annoying to deal with. Depends on how many she would get.
Kaneki for sure, I don't want him even in 1v4…
Pig gets 4 cause 1 for each survivor so she would have to get 8 in 2v8
-
Unknown he would get cooked so hard needing 4 hits to down with UVX while there's 8 survivors and his hallucinations would always be cleansed
-
@Pulsar said:
He is extremely good at camping and tunneling, so take your pick on those.
Springtrap camping is insanely strong since he can just hold his axe if you get hit by that axe while going to save you HAVE to remove the axe first

That was essentially the idea last time. They lowered the mending timer from normal version, but made sure to keep it to prevent Legion from stabbing the same person multiple times. I feel like no matter WHAT it gets lowered to, ppl will still call it a mending simulator because mending isn't actually ppl's problem but rather just the convenient thing to complain about when they really just hate the injuries.
Yeah I agree but I still think mending should be lower then what it currently is

Yeah, exactly, Legion is totally fine in 1v4. But having a Killer with an ability to easy injure many people and then another Killer who can get the Downs is just too much.
But sadly I dont really see that they will remove Legion from 2v8. It would be the best solution, but I just dont see it.
Exactly Devs realistically won't so the next best option is to Nerf him more in 2v8
-
Sam B in the Fog!
-
He's nothing special just a mid killer
-
I think oni needs his blood requirement raised
-
Scout yes very good can reveal the killer to everyone and rebuild strong loop pallets
