hmmmm... I found a trick that sort of has worked for me a few times while I've prestige....
You got your points, you prestige and get your new web. You spend a some points into the web and get a handful of different rank 1 perks, maybe a couple at higher ranks.
Once you get to level 25, I find you usually get a perk that you already have but at the next rank... plus a new rank 1 perk. This doesn't always happen, but happens enough.
If the new perk wasn't the one you wanted, i.e. BBQ and Chili, then upgrade the other perks to the higher ranks and don't keep grabbing the new rank 1 perks.
Eventually you'll have a group of perks at rank 3 and some at rank 1. Once you find the rank 1 version of the perk you want, you'll start to see it appear in the next couple of webs at the higher version.
You don't want to have a bunch of rank 1 perks and rank 2 perks in your collection while you are looking for the few perks you want. The more rank 1 perks you have the less chance you have for the web to pull out new ones and not just keep giving you the higher versions of an existing perk.
Sounds kind of weird... but I've done this many times while putting all my killers up to prestige 3. I mainly just want BBQ and Chili, so I would buy perks in this way, and I'm usually getting my BBQ up to rank 3 before level 50.
This doesn't work all the time, but it has worked enough times that this is how I do my webs now.
TL;DR; Basically don't over buy on the rank 1 perks.. by keeping your perk pool down by upgrading existing ones while you look for the one you want, you'll increase your chances of getting the higher versions of that perk in the next webs right afterwards when you find it.
I hope this made some sense.

Sometimes I may write something then reread it.. so I don't make mistakes like that.. but for someone reason the little gear is gone where I can select edit... so I can't change anything anymore. wonder if that is happening to anyone else.

You certainly can white pip as a killer with 0 kills.

Its fine, people that are saying it should be gone are all Survivor mainsSurvivors can already fight low rank Killers (EG Rank 15-20 Killers) being rank 1, by queueing with another friend that is low rank.So 3 rank 1 survivor + 1 rank 18 survivor friend will vs a Rank 20 Killer. That is BS and this has not been fixed
SWF was changed long ago to take the average rank between all players in the SWF. So 3 rank 1s + a rank 18 makes their average around rank 5. So they are actually making the game very hard for their rank 18 friend. It works this way MOST times, not saying there hasn't been the issue you've mentioned above though.
Then please show were the devs said that this is no longer the case?.. Cause this is mentioned in the patch notes from years ago.
Did you even play when the match making took the SWF host's rank?.....So rank 1s could play with a SWF friend who was rank 20 and the match making would look for rank 20 killers?
Then that is when this got changed... a few months after SWF released. To take the average of the SWFs in the lobby and match making uses the SWF host for ping.
Not saying this is how it seems like it is working, but please show me were the devs changed this?

It is based on time, but you get extra XP bonuses for how well you did with the emblems.
Here is a link to the wiki for it... There is a section on experience points that gives you a list of the bonuses you can get. They aren't that much though.. but that is it.
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Player_Level
The time probably caps out though so you only get a max xp plus whatever little bonuses you get... but I'm not 100% sure on that one. When you got shards instead of player experience, it was capped out I think on 10 shards per match.
I don't pay much attention to it though since the whole player level thing seems useless.
-
Yee.. best to ignore it and / or tell them to eat their report and leave it at that... Sometimes I think people want to sucker you into saying something that can get you banned.

How vulnerable/open I leave myself/my profile has absolutely nothing to do with the toxic behaviour of other players, it simply allows them to actually BE toxic. People are still toxic, you're just less likely to experience it when you set everything on private. That just changes YOUR PERSONAL experience regarding toxicity.Of course people with private profiles will claim "the game is not that toxic" because guess what? How could they experience toxicity when they prevent people from being toxic?. It's like saying "The Death Valley is not that hot" while driving through it with your air con on.
YOU protect yourself from the "issue" but that doesn't mean it's non-existent.
Sort of... I protect myself from it... I, in essence, don't give it an audience. I don't allow it to happen, to me. If someone can't be toxic to me on my profile, etc... I've stopped it from happening to me.
I don't stop that person from being toxic, no. However, I do stop allowing it to happen, to me.
So yes. I feel the game is less toxic, because I do protect myself from it. I try to leave it in game and in the post chat. If people want to be toxic, they can do it in there and if they go over board I can report it. That way there is some avenue for those toxic players to release their anger, which I don't really care about. This is me though, if some are bothered by it, then they need to disable end game chat.
By not giving it an audience I stop the toxicity from happening. If more people did that, then there wouldn't be anywhere for those players to be toxic. When they have less avenues to be toxic, then perhaps they won't be?...Maybe? Who knows... I know I'm not getting it, so I don't have to deal with it.
It allows me not to get upset about it, because it doesn't happen, because I stopped it from happening to me. I have been given and use the tools available to me to stop it.
We can't trust social media companies with our personal information because they will sell it to the highest bidder. You also can't trust users of those social media companies since they have to implement privacy settings in it to prevent malicious use. Therefore, blocking comments on my profile on Steam from the public, is no different then me setting up my privacy setting on say Facebook.
We have to protect ourselves from it, especially if a person finds it upsetting. We can't sit and expect people to do the right thing all the times, because they don't. That is life.

My only logical conclusion: You seem to be a Survivor main that never plays Killer? I have roughly 2000 hours, 100% achievements and more or less a 50/50 Killer / Survivor ratio. I received my 500+ insulting steam profile comments exclusively when playing Killer. I know a person with around 1800 profile comments. That's hundreds of players heading over to their profile just to insult them. Where else can this possibly happen? Name me one thing and I'll check it out myself.The DBD muscle flex to prove your arguments has no merits.... LOVE IT! People wonder why they get toxicity directed at them.... I'll DBD hour flex you out of the argument survivor MAIN!... LULS
So I goto... Counter-Strike: Global Offensive store page... I scroll down... I select View Discussions to get into the Steam Forums... Then I just look over a few posts... look at a few profiles... and bam... people have comments on their profile... negative ones... related to playing CS:GO.... Interesting.
If you want to leave your comment section open to the public that is your choice... OH NO BUT I SHOULD HAVE TO DO THAT!.. WHY DO I HAVE TO MAKE MY COMMENTS FRIENDS ONLY OR PRIVATE???.. PEOPLE SHOULDN'T BE TOXIC!!
So do you leave all your social media account without setting up any privacy settings?.... Leave it wide open?... I mean people or companies shouldn't use your information in any malicious way right?

hmm...The part about providing proof of another game where people put nasty comments on profiles? I don't think I need to provide any proof of this one.. simply because comments on profiles were around way before DBD was. However I can spend about 2 minutes and goto another online multiplayer game's discussion section... go into a few posts then look at some of the poster's profile and not see nasty comments on them. Wow I just did that.. Not hard.

Do you know of any other real scenario where this happened in any other online game?Yeah I got a friend who got harassed online after playing CS:GO. That is a CS:GO exclusive for me, cause I never seen it elsewhere.
-
@PiiFree said:
In DbD, even the "normal" players have to fear to get targeted personally, because the overall toxicity has reached a really high level. I think it's important for you to understand that I never claimed that the MOST TOXIC things have happened in the Dead By Daylight community, I'm saying that the general playerbase in Dead By Daylight is a lot more toxic than any other community that I know - and this includes CSGO, Dota 2, LoL, ARK, CoD, BF,...However it isn't DBD exclusive... That is just you pulling something out of the air and applying it to this game cause your friend was harassed.
I have the same fear of being target personally... However, myself, I fear that from any online game. Not because one is more toxic then the others, but because it is the internet.
I'm wouldn't be posting personal information in one game over another game because the community is less toxic. I'm wouldn't be posting it because it puts my information online for anyone to get to.
-
@PiiFree said:
Listen, I think you completly missed the point, by miles. What are you trying to tell me? That there are psychopaths out there? Did I EVER deny that? Seriously, what's are you trying to tell me?I want you to go back to my post, read it and then explain to me how any of this stuff is relevant to my post.
I don't consider a shooting (which I btw unfortunately had seen happening live on twitch) an act of toxicity, it's pure psychopatic and has absolutely nothing to do with the specific game (Madden, in that case) per se. It's a psychopath that happened to be part of the Madden community. Same with the Swatting (which doesn't exclusively happens to CSGO players, btw). All those things happened because of the STREAMS. It's a STREAMING issue, just like the guys that shoot at DrDisrespects house. No one will shoot are your house for playing PUBG, but they will start to do that when you become a popular streamer because out of the 10'000'000 followers you have, chances are high that a few psychopaths are amongs them. You get it?
Cause you like to say it is DBD exclusive when I can point out it isn't. DBD... Streaming... Madden... What is the difference?
What is the difference is "toxicity" compared to the person who goes out of their way to find personal details about people inorder to continue their harassment? How is that act not psychopathic? Because they didn't come to your friends house to shot them?
Your friend isn't the measure of online harassment in the DBD community. They are a victim of online harassment which can happen when people are online, and can happen in ANY online community. It isn't DBD exclusive.
There are ######### bags in all communities. Just because that ######### bag decided to play DBD doesn't mean it is DBD exclusive.
You need to stop being so narrow minded. Look beyond your computer monitor and realize there is more out there then the DBD community.
You only look at it from the perceptive of how it affected your friend. When it could have happened to anyone, including a streamer. However you seem to apply logic of, if they are a streamer they deserve it.. OR they should "expect" it because they are a streamer.
So shouldn't your friend except that they could be subject to online harassment when they post personal information on the internet about themselves? Don't they accept the same responsibility of the streamer by putting their details online? Your friend put their personal details on the internet and others figured it out then harassed them. But based on the logic you apply to streamers, your friend, should have accepted this harassment because they put their information online.
Do you get it yet?
-
@PiiFree said:
Firstly, you're comparing popular streamers with some casuals /randoms getting bullied.So streamers aren't people aswell?... So they should be subject to online harassment? Sorry I didn't realize you were only taking about YOUR friend, cause they are all that matters.
Secondly, how often has that happened yet?
It happened enough that there are laws now against it, specifically, and it was given its own term. But sorry yeah.. it probably doesn't happen enough like what happened to YOUR friend, cause they are all that matters right?
@PiiFree said:
Thirdly, has absolutely nothing to do with the toxicity of a community. Anything that happens to streamers happens to them due to them BEING STREAMERS, not being part of a specific gaming community. A random person would never get swatted or anything like that. It's a Twitch / Streaming issue, not a specific gaming communities.So if I was watching a streamer who plays Hello Kitty I would SWAT the streamer who plays CS:GO?
So is this only DBD exclusive?
https://kotaku.com/man-spends-six-months-plotting-murder-of-counter-strike-5550609
ok lets forget about that one... what about this one...
https://www.polygon.com/2018/8/26/17783924/madden-tournament-shooting-jacksonville-florida
Oh yeah... but it doesn't fit into the DBD exclusive... So.. these can't apply.

League is NOWHERE near as toxic. Not even close. Neither is CS:GO or Dota 2 and similar.
Listen, there is a basic level of toxicity in every online multiplayer game. Mostly it's just the typical "you stupid noob, learn to play!".
Maybe we should differentiate toxicity by quantity and "quality"? Yes, in CS:GO toxicity happens frequently but the level of toxicity is rather low. As I said; stupid idiot, noob, l2p ect. is mainly what it is about.
Dead By Daylight has a whole new level of toxicity. Deathwishes, wishing someones kids / wife to get cancer, getting raped to death ect? That's just sick. And that happens AT LEAST once a week. They leave insulting comments on steam profiles and whatever other social media account is connected to it.
A friend used a steam profile pic she also used on facebook and that's how people found her accont, then started to insult her real friends via facebook because she happened to kill them. It's a true story and that level of toxicity is a DbD-exclusive. I'm playing online games since CS 1.6 and not once has anyone gone outside of the specific game to make someones life miserable because of a single match.
In most communities, toxicity happens within a match and that's it, you'll never see them again. Not in DbD.
Yet... people who are streaming CS:GO need to worry about the SWAT Team knocking down their door... But yeah... It is DBD exclusive, that ######### bags reach out into others personal life. I don't think the term SWATTING got born out of the DBD experience.

Come to the conclusion that this specific horror 4vs1 genre relies on the basic idea that a survivor can die. Therefore it would be best to just support queues for solo players for new game modes.A game that gets voted "Best Played With Friends".. after 2 years of release.... Shouldn't be making game modes that support playing with Friends?... but should take another route to make queues only for solo players?
The Devs have not yet, after 2 years, released any game mode into the game.
@lindechene said:
1) Everyone could play soloAll individual SWF players would have the ability to queue up as solo players.
If SWF would not be supported for some new game modes "reasonable" people interested enough in the core mechanics of the game would simply go back to queuing up solo.
Some may leave to play something else with their friends but certainly not everyone.Do you have any idea the amount of the community that play SWF? I don't know.. but the last time they released that stat is was about half. Which has probably increased since then.
Skipping point 2.. nothing to be said there.
@lindechene said:
**3) SWF fosters toxicity when one friend dies first and has to watch for the rest of the gameSolo players can simply queue up again. SWF players dying are forced to watch and wait for the rest of the match.
Combining 4vs 1 and SWF could work in a less frustrating way when everyone would be able to continue playing until the end of the round. As long as the objective of Killers remains to kill Survivors and they have no way to respawn this frustration of having to watch your teammates finish the game without you cannot be solved.Too bad for the SWF player. Who cares if the SWF player who was killed has to wait. That is the price you pay when playing SWF. Don't play SWF if that is an issue. Sometimes the rest of your SWF party will just bail out of the match. The SWF player can queue up as solo and play another match while they wait, or get a sandwich.
@lindechene said:
4) Without SWF different game modes could be introduced that shift the available objective when the first survivor diesProgress made on generators would carry over to the next phase and less parts would required to be gathered by the three remaining survivors. etc.
Solo survivors would appreciate longer matches where they get a new chance to escape when the first survivor dies.
SWF players do not want that because then they would even have to wait longer until the next game starts.Would be nice to get some game modes... but after 2 years, I doubt the Devs are going to do any of this. However when Dedicated Servers come in... Maybe... But I'm not holding my breath. However solo queues won't work, unless the Devs make it so players can't see who is in their lobbies. To prevent players from dodging lobbies until they get their friends.
@lindechene said:
5) Balancing around solo playersIt can not be helped that some random people will find ways to invite other survivors into audio chats from the lobby. But just because some people will find ways to trick the system the solution is not to simply create the whole game around those.
The game could be balanced for random solo survivors teamed up in order to survive the challenges ahead.
So balance around solo players because?... They can't communicate in the lobby chat or add other players during the match in Steam and give out discord information for VOIP.
So balance around solo?... When you admit that people will find ways to circumvent the rules so they can be on VOIP.
So why not balance around players who are on VOIP?... Then buff solo players?
@lindechene said:
6) There are enough other games out there who are intended to be played with your friends.People who want to play with friends have a huge selection of games to choose from.
People who want to queue up as solo players with random strangers have not much choice.
The survival horror based core mechanics of DbD could work best without voice communication.So bascially.. if you want to play with your friends... Then just play another game?... So push back on more then half the DBD community and stop them from playing with their friends? So kill the game basically?
One from BHVR who shall remain nameless told people to play another game when they were feeling burned out on DBD... Look what happened there... Now you want the Devs to officially tell everyone, if you want to play with a friend... Go play another game. Yeah... OK.
@lindechene said:
It probably would not work to remove SWF from the current existing "generator repair" game mode available now.
What could work is to insist on solo queues for new game modes in the future.Getting rid of SWF won't work. Having solo queue game modes would be ok, if they prevented players from seeing who was in your lobby to prevent survivors from lobby dodging.
However when the game gets voted.. Best Played With Friends... I don't think the Devs will be taking the approach of excluding friends from DBD. In fact... I could see them embracing it more fully. If you playerbase says they enjoy playing with their friends... Then why would you kick them in the teeth and not make heir game revolve around it.

EU, West America and Asian server want a word with you.Well sucks to be them then.
I've been under the assumption that EU and ASIA are 2 of the biggest populations, but I'm wrong. BHVR has gone out of it way to include Asian specific content into their game... has made some convention trips to Asian countries.. but since they have a low population.. why would they do that?
When I look during say 12 noon EST, I see the biggest size of the population during this time in DBD. Is that all Chinese players or EU?.... It isn't North America cause their peak times won't be till around 6 to 8 PM EST or evening time, which is when you will see a dip in the population. There is less people playing in North America during it's peak times then there are during its non peak times. So who is making up that other portion of the population?
Right now when I look I see over 27K playing an hour ago.. compared to a 35K 24-hour peak time, which that peak happens around... 10 to 11 am EST... So... Where is that population coming from in comparison to the North American population?

While there was indeed threads like you described, this is definitely not the "large majority" of of the threads about Lobby simulator.Peoples could simply witness this by navigating between this forum and the Steam/Reddit ones.
Yee... I navigate those on a daily basis.. Sorry not seeing what you see. The most of the posts I see on a daily basis are ones like this, where it is the same players over and over stroking each other with the SWF tissues.

I wonder too.Killer lobby are instant since Hallowed's blight ended.
While the waiting time only increased for survivors since December, to the current proportion.
All these "Lobby simulator" threads popping on every forums since then are not coming from nowhere.
That is weird.. I play mostly survivor and live in Canada... Never any issues getting lobbies for survivors over the past few months. Killer lobbies...this is where my wait is.
Yee... And the large portion of lobby simulator posts I see... Since I'm usually on these forums daily... Are those complaining about lobby dodging... Killers waiting over 10 minutes for survivors.
I rarely ever see a post about survivors not getting into killer lobbies unless they are in some country that doesn't have many players in it and they keep getting red ping lobbies, or dodged all the time cause they are in a SWF.
I find it interesting that Killers seem to rank up more fast then survivors. After a reset, if you rank up too fast as killer, you get long wait times until more survivors rank up. Yet with SWF being as big as it is in DBD.... Killers seem to do well against them after a reset when they can rank up too fast. Explain that one too me.
-
@NathanExplosion said:
That was already the case before the event, weird huh ?You serious?... I think we've been playing different games then.
I never had any issues or time waits getting into a lobby as survivor... Not before the event.
I was with killer though... getting several minute wait times.
Now with the event.. I get instant lobbies as killer... but not as survivor, but maybe only 30 second wait.
So I'm not sure what game you've been playing before the event. I was having no issues getting a lobby as survivor. Barely even ever dodged too.
-
@Okapi said:
And be if you think the game could handle the lobby dogging killers leaving you’re crazy. The event proves otherwise. The population of killers is in dire straits and can’t handle any more defections.You do talk about dodging, when you say enjoy the "lobby simulator". The lobby simulator is also being caused by the amount of lobby dodgers at the moment aswell. People not getting lobbies and having to research for a new lobby, when there are many looking for them, causes the queue times to increase aswell.
The issue with the event is, it is easier for survivors to get the points for progression than killers. This is why you see more killer "mains" playing as survivors. The population doesn't have a shortage of players... It has a shortage of players who want to play killers during this event.
They are balancing around SWF. You can't force SWF to use VOIP. The Devs have stated they aren't adding in VOIP. The Devs have stated they are balancing killers around SWF.
So what question are you asking? Are the Devs are going to add VOIP to DBD?... Or are the Devs going to balance around VOIP?... Why would you balance around VOIP if it isn't part of your game. They are going to assume every SWF is using VOIP and balance around SWF.
When you are playing SWF and you've been playing with the same group of players... You don't need VOIP as much, simply cause you know how each other plays. That is another factor to place in the equation.. So you balance around SWF... not VOIP.
Does that answer your question?

I think you will be disapointed.
And gosh, the salt is real, i don't think you're as confident in the current game situation than you pretend to be.
Well I can't dictate to the Devs what they should or could do to make players happier. I don't have access to the information nor am I even part of their company to make any sort of decisions for them. I can only apply my life experiences and my own knowledge to come up with logical guesses to what the Devs might do in any situation.
I don't know why you think I'm salty?... I personally find this all funny.
I used to be one of these whinny killers hating on SWF.... but there were times I played SWF... Soo.. How can I be hypocritical about something in the game, that I myself enjoy from time to time.
I can't. I stop whining about it. I stop caring if there is SWF in my lobbies and I started having allot more fun at this game.
However the method of "balancing" SWF into DBD by allowing other players to exclude others from their match.... Does that even sound logical to do?
Does DBD have a block feature in their game? Outside of blocking steam profiles. Is there any blocking feature in DBD itself? No. Why?
Why would they all of a sudden allow you to filter out SWF?... More then 2 years that is has been part of this game?
What changed from the arguments two years ago compared to today that would be more convincing to BHVR to allow a filter to be placed in the lobby for killers?
I guess I will be "disappointed" then?...
... I guess I'm also supposed to be salty... LULS cause I'm here whining about SWF being in my lobbies.... HAHA nice one. -

Yee.. The lobby simulator won't hurt SWFs in the long run. Just a heads up there. What options do you think the Devs will have when there are lobby dodgers ruining the experience for the bigger portion of the community?... Think about it. Good luck with promoting the lobby simulator. I personally don't mind, I'll play killer myself, I find it fun. Killer is WAY more fun then it was a year ago.... WAY MORE!... WAY WAY MORE!
The dodging will only hurt the whinny killers over time. You'd be better off asking for buffs on killers to deal with SWF rather then asking the Devs for an excuse to dodge lobbies.

I can already feel that for you it's nothing more that "Baby killerino tearz"Hey... I got empathy for killers. I understand that feeling of looking at a group of survivors in a lobby and saying... "Dang, these guys look like they are gonna run me around." Then I play them and kill 3 of them. Then I play another lobby I think is full of solos who look easy... Then I get rekt'd. It is what it is.

Why some peoples should play this side then ?
Knowing that because you can't "offend" the majority nothing will change and that you have to suck it up ?Play killer? Don't then. If you can't handle playing the game you bought, then don't play. People purchased the game with SWF as a part of... SWF isn't new.

This is what has been applied for a long time now.Hope you're enjoying the current Lobby simulator too.
It's been nearly 2 months that it was "released", can't stop laughting since then

So what makes you think it will change?.... Cause a few more people are bitching about it?... The number of SWF players out weighs the number of killers not liking SWF in their lobbies. That isn't going to change.
What is the driving force for many companies?... Profit. So why would BHVR risk losing profit for appeasing a group of killers compared to the bigger majority of SWF. I would bet, SWF even out weighs the number of solo players.
I don't mind the Lobby Simulator... Cause I will play some killer instead. I play to have some fun... I'm not here to start crying cause there are some better players in my lobby. I won't kill any of these players.. best I not play then... LULS
I actually am happy more and more killers are dodging. Best thing to route out the dodgers... You remove their ability to see anything in the lobby anymore other then 4 other players... That is it. Nothing else. Then the lobby dodgers stop playing. The queues get better. More people enjoy the game because of bullshit like lobby dodgers. <---- This is what will happen to killers... so keep on dodging.

You're forgetting the reason Killers dodge those lobbies, SWF Isn't balanced in the slightest. If it were people wouldn't mind facing them. My Suggestion was a compromise to not nerfing an unbalance and give people the option if they want to face that but i suppose you want the cake and to eat it too.Yeee... I understand why killers want to dodge them. However giving killers another reason to be selective on their dodging won't fix lobby dodging and make the game better for people.
I don't think the Devs would want to make a choice of... Make it better for a handful of players while ruining the experience for another handful, when the one handful of players, SWF, far out number the other side. Why choose the side with the most players that would be effected? Especially when it isn't their fault that they want to play with friends, which is a feature included in the game. Just because they use VOIP which is upsetting some killers?
The compromise of seeing a tag in the lobby telling who is SWF or not, isn't a compromise but a game breaking issue.
I guess you just want to ruin the game for a big portion of the community simply because you can't suck it up and play the game like many others are doing.

All I want is a SWF Indicator in the Lobby but the fact that that is a very very easily implemented feature and hasn't been done yet makes me think the Devs don't want Killers to even know they're going against SWF.... I suppose the new load in to lobbies confirms this to a degree.Exactly. Why would the devs give killers a clear indication for dodging a lobby? If killers keep dodging to avoid SWFs, soon the Devs will be making so you won't know who is in your lobby anymore, but for players. You won't see their names... profiles... ranks... maybe not even the character and items being brought in.
So don't matter to me if killers keep dodging. I'd rather the killers not be able to see anything like the survivors. Only reason I believe killers can see info now is because there would be a bunch of players that would stop playing.

winning an unfair match isn't fun. its a struggle.
you don't say: OH WOW THAT WAS FUN CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE ANOTHER Tea Baggin 4 MAN with DC and FLASHLIGHTS.
you say: that was hard. hope i never see those people again.If that happened to me, I would be sitting on the other side of my computer laughing my ass off on how fun that was.
Beating a team of SWF that were tryharding against you.. and killing 3 out of 4.. or all of them.. making any of them DC... playing against them as toxic as you can... not being nice to them at all... and crushing their asses... Yeah... Sounds like I didn't have fun?? LULS..... It may have been a struggle... but would be loads of fun and I'd be laughing with joy.
But that is me. I wouldn't put my head down and be upset on how hard that was.
And who cares if you face them again.. They might get the same treatment.
-
So at rank 15... You are facing the big bad SWFs.... Yeah wait till you get a bit higher in the rank when you want to complain about SWF.
You are get mostly at 15 is a bunch of smurfing. Usually one or two good survivors with a couple of potatoes. Try to find the potatoes and focus on them. Once you get them out of the way, you have a good shot at the good ones if they left gens up.
I find the good ones in those groups are trying to do most the work and won't be on gens so much as trying to help out teammates.
Sure there are SWFs in rank 15 that go full try hard.. but you gotta play them and get better. You'll only get better if you face players that are better then you.
-
Yee.. if you see Mikie taking along time to stalk up and changing targets just to stalk.. might be the tip you need to all split up and hide from him. Get gens and get out.

It isnt bannable, did you even read the thread? Pointing out teammates isn't working with the Killer, it's throwing them under the bus so you can escape.Not entirely. There was a streamer who got a temp ban because they were pointing out survivors to the killer in the match, and they weren't friends with the killer. One of the survivors this happened to, took the streamers video and used that against them to get them banned for 24 hours.
-
Probably because you can't lose rank when you are below 15. So at this time of season there probably isn't many rank 20 survivors to play against. So if that killer is waiting too long to fill their lobby, eventually the match making will widen the ranks it looks for until it fills the lobby.
-
Yee.. one of the issues on the survivor side is the amount you get for escaping with a vessel. You get 25 which is worth more then then getting 5 gens done. So why not wait it out to the hatch, cause you are also getting 500 BP every 30 seconds or so.
Then the killers have to go full on try hard to get any good amount of progress. I don't understand even the logic of killers having to get a 100% perfect match of hooking everyone 3 times... AND killers need ALL the survivors to put out a red envelope. A red envelope which only appears once in each web and doesn't earn you enough points to get the next one.
The Devs really wanted to make people grind this event out and be as toxic as everyone can be in each match. I think they are going out of their way to punish players for whining too much in the last event.
-
Cause it seems the Devs only want to give you one per web.. Since each web costs between 50K to 60K to get through... it is hard to store up allot of offerings.
-
Maybe they will get a lucky temp ban for it. If they admitted that in the end game chat and you filed the ingame report, that chat log gets sent in with the report.
There leaves no doubt on a ban when the offender admits to the offense.
-
Let them send in the video so the Devs can have a good laugh on how badly they played and got salty about losing in that way. Killer didn't have to camp the hatch, they only needed to find you.
Sounds like the killer forced you to play out the match and got mad when you won.

nice haha
