No idea. I'm not a tunneler. 😬
-
Nurse just goes through the wall or doesn't when she gets snagged. Blight goes full metal fan.
-
He's very weak in close quarters using his power but that's what basic attack of for. And like Nurse he can't just cancel his power if he sails past someone.
Otherwise he's very chaotic and his perks are top notch.
-
You kinda do but only after a bump. It's mainly for travel anyways.
-
A number of variables that may only reflect the individual rather than platform.
-
Everything is reversed?
Haha, stupid PC gamers always dc'ing. Is it because they don't use superior controllers?
Console Nurse > PC Nurse
Console master race.
Alright, enough of that. Man being snarky all day is tiring. How do you PC players do it?
-
If they don't fix anything It's just more of the same.
If they did fix it we need to throw a parade.
-
Gas simply needs to do more. It's a great mechanic but needs more. A build up mechanic from consecutive exposure would be good.
-
Only cancel early if they're in a deadzone. No point in injuring them into a strong loop or not being able to bounce off them if they're already in deep wounds and you want to redirect the chase.
Legion is about injury and information. You give up one, you lose the other.

Popcorn? Wait pop corn is popped corn. Which is a reaction with the moisture inside the kernal. What causes this reaction? Heat. Heat is caused by radiation. Radiation comes from the sun. The sun is a star in the milkyway galaxy. Milkyway is a candybar. Candy bar. A bar made of candy. Bars can also serve booze. Booze is served from a bottle. Bottles are primarily used to hold chemicals. Chemicals kinda sounds like schmemicals which is nonsense. Nonsense is nonsensical like saying Billy was perfectly balanced. Balanced like two ends of a blade which is a reference to a Summer blockbuster movie. Movies move. And what else moves? Animals. A pig is an animal. Ah yes I see now.
We're forced to use corrupt because nerf Pig.
-
Relies on a number of variables so it's more of a screw around perk rather than a serious ambush build.
But situations I've seen it come in handy have been baiting out the phantom of the gens. Y'know, gens that have clearly been worked on but with no one around? They'll return when they feel "safe".
Camping hooks. Scummy but you can bait a rescuer into an earlier chase. Or put the hooked person back on if you have a small pp.
And ambushing exit gates. Clunky metal noise is your cue to attack. Usually a last ditch effort though unless you have "plans".

Oh boy have you kicked the hornet nest with that first sentence.
Is there anything about it that's not true though? Oh what am I saying? These are the same people thought tunneling survivors to death from the cage was fair game.
There's another game that made situations unwinnable against killer. Friday the 13th. That game is still popular and functioning properly and not abandoned right?
-
Anti-loop shouldn't even be a thing. It's the survivors main defense with items and stealth as secondary options. Going into a loop shouldn't be a death sentence as the moment a killer starts chasing you, you're immediately on a timer for how long it takes for them to catch up.

Those damn devs always F'n the ice cream machine up at my favorite restaurants, I knew they had something to do with it , when something starts getting buggy I can just sense their involvement in some way
I seen someone fixing it one time but they weren't using approved footing (standing on a frail box for footing) and snapped their ankles. Osha had a field day with that mess. Anyways the important part: no shakes. It was awful. I went home hungry.
-
A 4th health state called crippled.
Can stand, but no running and actions are halved by 50% until healed. All perks are disabled as well.
-
The shake machine is down again. Every time I want a shake and the damn machine is busted. DEVS FIX THIS.
-
All lefties become ambidextrous. It's the curse of living in a right hand world that just doesn't accept them.
Even phones are designed for righties. My first option for every comment is to flag it.
-
It should only Torment them. Imagine if Doctor could damage using his skill, which this basically is.
-
If you want to buff solo then a filter for terrible players would do the trick. Solo only feels hopeless because of your selfish teammates.

Waking up avoids
- snares
- pallets
- any slow down add ons he’s equipped
- faster teleport recharge.
There’s ALWAYS a reason to wake up.
Yeah but it used to be exciting. Snares are blatantly obvious to see and can be triggered like Hag traps. Fake pallets are still going to be there if you get hit immediately into the chase, and teleport charge barely gets slowed down since it's constantly resleeping everyone anyways.

There's the "survivor bad" reply I was waiting for.
Wat. No there wasn't any sarcasm. I liked Freddy pre-rework. He was unique in how to approach chases, but the interaction with self care and spine chill made him out to be impotent when he had both wallhacks and exceptional gen stall.
-
Survivors need some of the invulnerability they used to have against him. Waking up seems pointless now.

That’s always the funniest. Disconnecting only makes your job easier plus you get a quitter bonus out of it. Unless you’re working specifically towards a trophy or challenge like 4 kills by your own hand, does anybody really get that mad about it? I sure don’t. It ######### your teammates over more.
Yeah, it can mess up challenges or trophies. But I've got plat on PS4 and challenges are multi-game affairs either way.
-
Had someone dc then try to mock me for not killing them. Bro I see your corpse.
-
Wraith immediately comes to mind. Loads of ways to screw with people. From instantly exploding pallets to jumpscaring with silent bell.
-
Definitely Huntress is next. Doubt they'll change her power much as it's already balanced but her add-ons are getting work.
Then Pig's add-ons. Seen devs awhile back state miss piggy was gettin a look at. Base Pig is fine. They've already done all the tweaks they were going to do.
-
It has its moments.
-
This announcement is just future proofing. The questions were out there and they answered them.
As for getting current systems working, it's figuring out where the leaks are. Honestly the whole dynamic hook placement thing is probably the issue. They should retire hook offerings like they did moonlight offerings.

This game has a worse console port than XCOM 2 had. Which is saying a lot.
That's an unfair assessment. Xcom 2 was functionally junk when it first dropped. The main menu lagged ffs. And losing all progress on the load screen back from a difficult mission was the cherry. DBD is still playable even with all its frustrating glitches.
This comes from a guy who also played through from start to finish the PS3 port of Xcom 1 and Fallout New Vegas so I know broken ports.
-
Lol, gurl here is slinging around the burden of proof like we're all 24/7 streamers with thousands of hours of video proof.
-
When you do terribly with it, people will rattle off about how bad it is and how good they are.
When you do good with it, they cry about feeding Myers, that their teammates were potatos, and you don't deserve 4k and will DC like babies or wait out the EGC in a locker.
In other words, it brings out the best of the community.
-
Noed you only need to destroy the lit Totem. Where it appears depends on your earlier efforts.
Devour Hope can be delayed by unhooking inside the killers range denying tokens. And even then the totem is lit the entire time and completely vulnerable all match.
-
I went with an all totem build couple days ago. One was Devour Hope.
Omy glob Im contributing to the problum! Time to Mc.Murder myself for being tooooxic. Tooioxic. Tocksick! Toxiiick!
lol, just do bones.
-
Jeff. The corpse paint was hard to pass up.
-
Woahhhhh necro.
Only buff BL needs is more second floor drops on more levels. Otherwise it's fine as a stealth juke.

Sometimes i spin around in a circle and it means MY DRILL IS THE DRILL THAT WILL PIERCE THE HEAVENS! GO BEYOND THE IMPOSSIBLE AND KICK REASON TO THE CURB!

I get your point and I do agree that it only solves the one problem.
I know people don’t like taking specific perks to counter specific killers, but if you have the ability to counter something, it doesn’t need to be changed.
Iron Will is a hard counter to Spirit which is cancelled out by Stridor. That sets Spirit’s tracking back to base which gives you a chance to throw her off when she comes out of phase.
Iron Will is a meta perk that can be used to break chase, mind game, and throw killers off.
Iron Will is effective against all killers though. And like most mandatory perks, I shouldn't have to feel like I should bring it every match just to counter 1 killer when playing survivor.
Calm Spirit was the same way with Doctor, but then you could hop into a locker to avoid his blast. Now while Calm Spirit is still actively a great boon against Doctor, it isn't completely necessary to counter him either.
If Spirit comes out on the other end of a rework weaker for it, they can easily tweak other aspects of her power. Brighter scratch marks could be one. The colorblind community would love it.
-
You hit people with a bed. Vomit pea soup to inconvenience the survivors a little bit.
-
I usually get downed first when the killer comes back and you're pinning me to the ground with your attempt to "help" me so it's not entirely unjustified.
-
I doubt they'd change that much. She's the most skillful killer in the game. The red hatchets remove half that skill. They need to go regardless.

I dislike spirits current state but this would destroy her completely. Especially with footsteps being as broken as they are.
Something shouldn't get fixed because something else is broken? That's so weak. Then they'll need to fix both I guess?

“I can’t hear Spirit phasing unless she’s nearby. Better throw all the pallets in the game down.”
If you’re brand new to the game, sure. Maybe you’ll make that mistake.
The only time this sound change affects Spirit if she’s already nearby a survivor. Generally in chase.
Except in the situation you’ve described the survivor now knows for sure she’s phasing. Now the survivor can make decisions based on what he’s learned playing against this Spirit.
Does she drop survivors as soon as she phased to trick survivors into making huge mistakes like that or does she stick with the chase to try to get another hit?
Reversing the sounds would weaken a strength she already has. It doesn't fix the overarching problem. They're alerted she’s coming, then what when she homes in on you like a heat seeking rocket? There's zero guesswork still.
Positioning yourself behind an object or tree then phasing during a chase is the best time to use it because they're alerted and probably not hiding in a corner. That means scratch marks leading you straight to them without any headphone crutch helping you. All visual and during her power use.
Her existing abilites would absolutely be functional without directional sound used aggressively.

Sound is crucial to her power.
The point isn’t to nerf her, the point is to give survivors something to work with beyond, “I think I need to predict now.”
Her ability is quick traversal while undetected save for her vacuum tell. Having a guaranteed means of locating a vulnerable player is unsportsmanlike. Imagine if Wraith could uncloak instantly. He'd immediately shoot up to SS+.
They removed the locational audio on Huntress for the similar reasons. She was at a massive disadvantage simply for being heard. Now against Spirit, you're not only audibly at a disadvantage but due to the nature of her ability, she can pop up right behind you with zero reaction time. It's broken.
It fixes nothing by reversing it. Oh I still can't see anything. Guess I'll throw down these pallets early creating deadzones for endgame.
-
Remove hearing survivor noises while phasing.
And allow her go up sheer surfaces like second story windows. She's a ghost, why can't she fly?
-
You want to no-clip through people then?
I find the collision helpful when feeling out where a slippery survivor went.
-
It's to avoid power stacking. You use a killer who can freely use their ability and you get 6+ status effects from a single hit? That absolutely sucks as survivor, swf or not.
Do people want basic attack removed from the game or something? You have perks that give it an edge, and it gets poo poo'd by killer snobs.

thats a massive nerf that he doesnt deserve, the power is alrady easy enough to dodge to make it harder for the killer.
He can hook people instantly then Mori them. It's already kitted out. And there's a few add-ons that would benefit from having a dependable way of Tormenting people because it's so piss easy to avoid already like you said.
-
They should rework the ability to only damage at the tail end of the attack. Everything in between should inflict Torment.

I'm trying to show you how dumb you sound. Hatch is another way to survive, THE SURVIVORS GOAL IS TO SURVIVE.
At the cost of EVERYONE else NOT surviving.
3 death hatch is a loss. It's a Pyrrhic Victory.

And I've been playing for 4 years and your mindset is idiotic. An escape is an escape, just how killers say a kill is a kill. Finding hatch is still the objective for the last survivor.
An objective you get for failing horribly. What is there not to get?
And I got 3 years? We're measuring e-peens? Trying to discredit me?
-
You'd always get red ranks as green. Nothing new there.
Also red rank survivors are boosted.
-
It won't affect framerate because a new bug will make logging in impossible.
It won't affect framerate because DBD is now a png.
It won't affect framerate because they finally managed to nerf pig.
