Since when were you punished for killing them? Unless you are running other perks like STBFL
If you kill the Obsession, Dying Light stops working.

Here. Maybe pictures will help you. Read the descriptions and the lore description.
It says "Grant me the favor of killing one." Not "Grant me the favor of another RBT." That's what Last Will is for.

It is exactly the point. In reality she doesn't carry any RBT. You wanna know where it comes from? The Entity. Look at the starting animation of when she puts the RBT on the survivor. You can see it pops up like any Entity animation (think of Blood Warden, Bamboozle, when a survivor pops into lobby, etc). It is a known fact that The Entity uses the survivors and killers memories to bring stuff into the realm. Therefore, he has full control of what goes in and out of the trial. The entity is the game master and he makes the rules therefore, there is no limit to the amount of RBT's in the trial (forget the in-game rules we are talking lore here) and in the mori offering it gives the hint that The Entity will allow killers to satisfy their lust for blood by allowing them to kill the survivors instead of sacrificing them.
Since every time The Pig gets a RBT from The Entity whenever she wants to place it on there heads then its allowable for her to get an extra RBT from The Entity because thats what the mori offering is all about lore wise and game wise.
The Entity gives her a limited amount. So why does the Entity randomly give her an extra one that she can only use as a Mori?

Tell me where she is getting the RBT.
Not the point. The point is she has a limited amount, and having one handy when she is supposed to be out makes no sense.

You make no sense. You don't like my idea because she magically pulls out a RBT during the mori animation, but you are completely okay with her doing it outside of the mori. What?
Like think a little bit here. She dies in SAW 3 and then magically appears in a DBD trial. She runs around slashing survivors with supposedly carrying 1 or more RBT while doing so. None of this makes sense. DBD doesn't make sense nor should it be. You limit your imagination in video games if you base it solely on logic.
Its fine if a 90 lbs woman can go around carrying 100+ lb survivors on her shoulder, carry slightly heavy RBT and magically produce RBT out of thin air.
If she has an extra RBT, I'd rather use it as a spare RBT than know she can only use it for a Mori.

I think she's ok (High C/low B tier), her power can basically make someone useless for at minimum about 30-ish seconds, making them run around find the right box. I see why they kept her crouch weak seeing as Ghostface's whole power is based on stealth, it still has its uses though. Her addons are ok with some being really decent and others too situational to be all that good.
Her add-ons are the worst thing about her, IMO. She's got, like, nine or ten that are just flat-out bad, and Amanda's Secret is probably the single worst Killer add-on in the entire game.

They are also good on Trapper yo obscure his traps.
That one I will give you. I still do not think the offerings are worth it when they are a liability to around ~75% of the cast, though.

Stealth killers might want them to make them harder to see (ghosty, pig, micheal)
Ghostface would not want it to be harder to stalk Survivors, Pig would not want it to be harder to see through grass while crouched, and Myers doesn't really get benefit past Tier 1.
-
I enjoy her enough to main her, but IMO she needs a few buffs and especially an add-on re-work.
-
Can we remove the fog-increasing offerings from the Killer side? I can't imagine why a Killer would ever use one.

Yet she pulls the RBT out of her butt every time she puts it on a downed survivor .
Yes, because she has not run out yet.

The problem here Peanits is the animation. My character is already is out of the locker and still can be grabed as if I am jumping in. It looks awkward and always leaves a bad taste im my mouth. That would not have happened if the animation of jumping out was just slightly faster. How can survivor be grabbed when he is already out of the locker?
This seems like a different discussion for a different thread.
-
Ever since I got the drill weapon, I have been content with Pig's mori.
Also, I don't like the idea of Pig pulling a RBT out of her butt when she is supposed to be all out of them.
-
This seems like a bad band-aid fix. No need to go for a half-baked solution; fix the problematic maps.

I think the guy who has to put up with being referred to a goblin gets priority with regards to what his model gets to look like over you. :P

If the Obsession is a Laurie and I am not running an Obsession perk/add-on, I will assume that at the very least they have Decisive Strike.

Except in his evidence he shows him making mistakes by overcomitting in chases, and applying no pressure on the other 3 survivors, same thing in another one of his videos when he was nurse, he took nearly 2 minutes to get his first down, and surprise surprise the other 3 survivors had literally nothing else to do but gens, no need to heal, no need to go save, what else are they suppose to do
I still say that 2 minutes for three gens with Ruin active the whole time is too fast, even when the Killer is overcommitting to a chase. It's not like it was a "5 gen chase tunnel vision I want this guy dead at all costs" thing going on. It was one chase that went on a bit longer than it was supposed to and the game swinging massively as a result. That's not the Survivors' fault for playing it correctly, but to me it shows just how little margin of error there is for most Killers and says to me that something somewhere should chage at least a little for the sake of the top-end play.
-
The big question is "How do you bring down the best of the best without creating a more negative experience for everyone else?" You can't just flat-out increase gen repair time because less good Survivors who don't power through Ruin like nothing get affected by it as well. There needs to be a solution that can target those super top Survivors that doesn't screw poor 'ol Bud who hasn't been playing for too long and is still in green ranks.
-
My personal idea is to have each Hex Totem start out unlit (the effect will still be active, though), and it lights up when certain conditions exclusive to each individual Totem are met.
Example - Devour Hope won't light up until the perk gets 2 counters. The Third Seal won't light up until at least one (maybe 2?) people are affected by it. Ruin won't light up until X seconds have passed.

NOED does literally nothing during the game, and only activates end game,
surge and pop I kinda meh, since you don’t have other gen protecting perks and you’re playing pig
use something like enduring
personally I wouldn’t use any of the perks you have, but that’s your choice
Enduring doesn't synergize with my build. It's a fine perk on its own, but if I am going to just run a general perk in the fourth slot for the sake of it, I'd just run Pop Goes the Weasel.
The point is that I am using a meme build but am also trying to maximize it.

It would synergize. The survivors will try to rush for the save, you hook them, then they get the save, then realize they can't actually leave, and you can just watch them die.
Sorry if you don't like my suggestion though. : /
Not...really. You're kinda just describing what Bloodwarden does.

Well, you asked for suggestions, but I find that a lot of survivors will break free before the 60 second mark. Besides, if they're on second hook, they'll try to go for the save... XD
I asked for suggestions that synergize with my setup. :P

Glad this is finally getting traction, it has been so hard as a starting out Killer recently. I was grinding on Bubba to unlock BBQ and all I was getting was high rank Chinese and Brazilian players who were much higher rank than me.
Amen to that. I am pretty sure I am consistently getting at least one person several ranks higher than me when I am just pulling Killers fresh out of the plastic wrapping.

As cool as that is, pulling that off requires a ton of things to go right. Not sure it would be worth the add-on by itself, sadly.

So I don't get screwed over as much if I screw up and accidentally hit the guy on the hook instead of the guy trying to rescue him. Am I understanding this correctly?

I may strongly disagree with how they went about the EGC nerf, but I definitely understand the reason it needed to be changed.

So channeling a key with that add-on reveals the obsession to the killer and decreases the chance that person is you?
Hello, troll item.
I'm pretty sure it reveals the Obsession to you, not to the Killer.
Seems like a weird add-on. Not sure it's that useful?

Boooooo. :(
-
I haven't hopped onto the PTB yet; what do they do now?
-
Left Behind now reveals the Hatch to the last Survivor.
Dying Light now increasingly slows down repair/sabotage/heal speed every time someone is hooked as long as the Obsession is still alive (the Obsession also unhooks and heals faster).

Recalling some other fun times that are sadly no longer possible due to EGC nerf:
1) Had a game where I was doing pretty badly, and no one was dead by the time the gates were open. Was chasing a t-bagging Claudette and managed to catch them RIIIIIGHT before they made the escape. However, it was obvious that they had Decisive Strike primed (this was before it was changed to its current incarnation). So what did I do? Slap a trap on them and then dribble them back into the Trial before letting DS proc and having them break free. Insta-DC.
2) Had another game that was pretty much a complete disaster for me. All the gens were done, I don't think I made any hooks until that point (if I did, it was one at most), and the person I was currently chasing was propped up by both a teammate's AH Syringe (I'm pretty confident this was at least a 3-person SWF, if not 4-man outright) and Adrenaline. Eventually, I managed to catch the person who provided the Syringe and slap the first trap on them. Idk what the hell happened, but suddenly that entire team turned into SPUD Team Six and started playing really badly while they were trying to stall until the Trapped teammate was free. Somehow, that Trapped teammate never found the right box despite me completely ignoring them, and they promptly died. One of the other teammates quickly DC'd after that (my theory is that they were salty that they didn't get the 4-person escape), and the other two people were floundering around and were downed quickly (though I only got one of them on the hook because I lost the other one and could not risk losing the Hatch to search for them, so they eventually bled out).

Run Franklins.
Franklin's does very little against Keys because nothing stops the Survivors from just noting where it was dropped and picking it up later.

Killing people is bad. Just saying.
The Killer option is just a trap that sends your personal information to your local police station so they know whose door to break down in the next 15 minutes.

3 in 1 game? Nice.
Were you trying to get those? Or was it random?
I mean, I'm always shooting for RBT kills. That is part of the fun for me. As for whether I forced those kills or not, I forced the last one because it was in my benefit to not just insta-hook them for the kill to try and find the last person.
-
A lot, but that is because I constantly play Pig (plus I've been playing on PS4 until recently). I've gotten a few since I've started playing on PC, though. My favorite instances have been:
1) Having four active traps going by the time the first gen popped; one died to the timer and the last Survivor killed themself at the Exit Gate.
2) Getting three RBT kills in one game.
3) Getting an RBT kill on someone who was never actually hooked.

@Raven014 said:
If you want an endgame carry build, use noed and oneshot survivors. I love seeing them get downed through their arrogance.
If you really want to make them mad, replace NOED with Bloodwarden, then hook the unlucky guy at the 60 seconds left on the EGC timer. They'll be so mad... XD
I don't see how Bloodwarden really synergizes with my plan. If my intent is to chase Survivors while carrying someone, and Bloodwarden wants me to hook someone ASAP (after the Gates are opened), then they kinda run counter-intuitive to each other. I could just hold someone until the Gate is hopefully opened, but at that point, I am better off simply just leaving them on the ground until someone opens the gate and then picking them up.
