  • Yeah I find the daily challenges to sometimes be a bit redundant. Most challenges should be obtained within one game, two at most. When you're given an objective that takes multiple games to obtain, it gets to be more tedious than anything. I like playing as Nemesis, but getting him up to tier 3 sometimes never happens without add-ons. The tentacle strike is almost not worth it given how small the hitbox is, coupled with the fact that infection doesn't injure.

  • I prefer a pure chase build when I'm looking to have fun. I usually go with BBQ because it does pay to have an info perk, Enduring, Spirit Fury, and STBFL. If you don't care about info then you can replace BBQ for Bamboozle, but this chase build can be really fun. Even survivors good at looping can't keep you at bay for long when you're a non-stop wrecking machine!

I'm going to give it a day. She may have asked and just hasn't received the answer yet. I did see a thread from a while ago that you and a couple other people asked for clarification, so I understand your frustration. It doesn't seem like something that they would not be able to clarify what they mean by it though so I'm not sure why they would need to stay silent on the subject.

Yeah it definitely had us scratching our heads. I firmly believe that the mods and the devs should not be available at anyone's beck and call because they're busy enough as it is, but considering all of the confusion that this stirred up, surely something could have been said.

@MandyTalk Would you be able to help with this discussion?

The question is about the offline bot matches from the July Developer Update. What exactly are they? Is it something new coming or was that referring to the Kill with Bots and Survive with Bots modes in Getting Started. It is the terms offline and online that are throwing us off.

    Thanks.

See what I mean? If this was a simple miscommunication, then something could have easily been said by now. Considering just how often the requests for clarification have not been addressed, makes me believe that this was supposed to be an intended feature, but for whatever reason it got scrapped or delayed and they're not allowed to talk about it.

That argument only works if they're... you know, actually fixing bugs and balancing the game

They need to find a way to make the PTB accessible for everyone. If they can't properly test bugs with such a short player base, then surely there can be a limited time event of sorts on console.

  • @miketheratguy said:

I DEEPLY hope for an offline bot mode. I never quite thought that they promised one, I think that they worded things in an unfortunate way that always left me uncomfortable with how much wiggle room they left. Something along the lines of "yeah, we'll give you a way to practice with bots, something to do while waiting for a game", that kind of thing. I don't know all the timing details but that suggests to me that they very well may have just been talking about the tutorial.

I don't understand how the damn MOBILE version of the game has a bot mode - apparently they can handle it - but PC and the major consoles don't. Especially given all the performance issues, disconnection problems, etc. This would be a great time to usher in a more fleshed-out bot mode. It's my most desired feature in this entire game and I continue to hold out hope, though that hope may very well be in vain.

It makes sense for the mobile version to have bots since disconnects can happen far more frequently on a mobile game than a console game, but I completely agree that it's nuts to think that not only is there a practice mode with bots, but a bot can take over if a player disconnects. It's amazing to think that such an implementation still has not seen the light of day in DBD proper.

"Now, a tutorial is great and all, but it doesn’t quite compare to hands on experience. Before you jump into an online match, you can now practice in offline bot matches. This will let you try out everything you’ve learned in a real-world scenario without the stress of other people watching. Bot matches are already available on the live version of the game (click the Getting Started button on the main menu to check them out)."

I think those bot matches that were already there are precisely what they were talking about. They don't say it will be something new, we assume that. I don't think they consider those matches as "online" because they are not a regular game that you accrue blood points and rank in and call them offline. I agree, their wording and terms are not well defined and could have been communicated better. They also say "without the stress of other people wathcing" which is what happens with those already available bot matches.

As far as BHVR staying silent, I agree, they tend to lack in communication for some important things, such as optimization. I don't feel this is anywhere near the top of importance that a lot of communication is needed. And if the answer is what I expect, in their minds they probably think how they communicated in the above quote says it clearly and didn't think any other communication was needed. The thread was created on Saturday. While moderators do monitor the forums over the weekend, they probably need to wait till the weekday, when people are back to work, to ask for clarification from developers to get the correct answer. Plus, you haven't @'d any of the mods asking for a clarification so they might not have even noticed you wanting them to reach out.

That's just it, I have. There have been more threads than just this one created by myself and others. I have DM developers and moderators and no one has said anything. If this was a simple miscommunication, then that is something that could have easily been cleared up.

In regards to the bot matches though, they go on to talk about how you can test out everything that you normally can in a live environment, which isn't remotely true with those tutorial bot matches. Until you give a purpose to cleanse totems, or allow players to equip perks, etc, then nothing will mirror an online match.

When I reread that, it now makes me think they are referring specifically to the Survive with Bots and Kill with Bots modes in the Getting Started section and not a separate offline mode. By live version, they mean not a test build and by offline they mean not a real match.

But those bot matches were already there prior to the developer update so I want to know what precisely were they talking about? They mentioned that bot matches can already be accessed online, so what precisely were they talking about when they mentioned offline? The fact that everyone on BHVR's end has been quiet about this speaks volumes.

I was wondering the same. Why.

I wanted to practice my Oni and Nurse because i am not that good.

I still can't get over that the free mobile game has a practice mode, whereas the main game still doesn't have one over 5 years later. I know it's separate teams, but when a mobile game looks better then a console/PC game, then you know you're doing something wrong.

  • @Unifall said:

If they add bots they should definitely do it when a killer or survivor dcs. I hate playing either side and one of my teammates dcs or the killer dcs mid game because they got a bad map.

There was talk for the longest time of adding bots to the game when someone disconnects. Needless to say the survivors are put at a great disadvantage when one or more members of your team abandons the match. While bots may not be as good as an actual player, at least it's something that can take the heat off of you why you work on objectives.

  • @ThanksForDaily said:

Tbh survivor bots are performing very well.

Not joking, they're actually more useful than a lot red rank randoms.

I agree. Why they can't let us use any killer against those bots I'll never understand.

Bots are exactly that though: bots.

”Testing” a build on non-human opponents in game like this would be a lousy experience. Zero mindgaming, just tons of shift-w and generic pathing.

Don't get me wrong, I completely agree that the only way to get better is to play against actual human players, but if you're trying out new mechanics or you're a new player, going up against people far more experienced than yourself doesn't make for a great learning tool.

  • @Rey_512 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2461071#Comment_2461071

Sure, it’d be cool to have but custom games already exist. Just get 4 (or less) friends to test your build with.

Devs should focus on more pressing matters, imo.

Also, Mobile and Regular DBD are different teams.

Many people (myself included) don't have a big group of friends that play DBD. If you do then that's great, but for people like myself I have to practice while I compete, and trying to test out new mechanics against players who are in it to win it, makes for a very lousy experience. This is precisely why a bot mode has been a long requested feature.

Announcing it and giving a definitive date on when it would be released are two different things. Do they give a date on when offline matches would be available in the anniversary stream. This thread is specifically talking about the Developer Update which says the following.

"In this upcoming Mid-Chapter, you’ll find a pair of brand-new tutorials (one for Killer, one for Survivor). We’ve learned a lot about what you want in a tutorial, so we now cover more than the old ones. Each tutorial also takes place in a single continuous level (rather than a series of mini levels cut together). This way, everything flows together like a real match, just more controlled so things don’t get out of hand.

As a head’s up, we have been seeing reports of preferences being reset (such as perks and cosmetics) for Dwight and Trapper after playing the tutorial. This bug does not revert any progress, but is something the team is aware of and will be resolved in the near future!

Now, a tutorial is great and all, but it doesn’t quite compare to hands on experience. Before you jump into an online match, you can now practice in offline bot matches. This will let you try out everything you’ve learned in a real-world scenario without the stress of other people watching. Bot matches are already available on the live version of the game (click the Getting Started button on the main menu to check them out)."

They do say in the upcoming Mid-chapter we will get a pair of brand-new tutorials. That did happen on that Mid-chapter. Two paragraphs later, they talk about the offline bot matches. I don't see them promising the offline bot matches at the same Mid-chapter. I just see them giving a heads up on what they are working on, probably in the same section they are talking about the tutorials because they are a similar feature. They then reference back to the Survive with Bots and Kill with Bots in the Getting Started section where the tutorials are.

I would agree with you except for the part where they say, "...you can now practice in offline bot matches". If this wasn't supposed to coincide with the mid-chapter, then this was a very misleading statement, and it's one that BHVR should clarify.

  • @Junylar said:

According to Scott Jund, the devs said they will not communicate with players anymore because they are tired of having their every broken promise backfire. I guess this is one of those promises that the decided to forget because new cosmetics turned out to be a more worthy investment.

BHVR's unwillingness to be open and honest with it's player base is one of the most frustrating and disappointing aspects of the company.

  • @Rey_512 said:

Offline mode is really a low priority and BHVR should not devote meaningful resources to it, in my opinion. I’ll explain why.

Listen to this… you can already “test” the builds you want to run in ONLINE mode. This is an online 4v1 game, you are meant to dive into the multiplayer matchmaking - don’t be afraid to test your addon/perk combos in a live match. Also, we have sufficient tutorials available for new players that want to understand the mechanics beforehand.

Also, and more importantly, BHVR should prioritize fixing bugs and meaningful content updates (balancing, reworking killers, etc.) over something that doesn’t provide value to online matchmaking.

The developer update specifically mentioned that the offline bot mode would allow you to test everything you can in an online match without the pressure that comes with playing with other people.

Playing against bots is a feature that is pretty standard with almost any game these days. Hell even DBD mobile has it (how nuts is that?)! Sweating while you practice shouldn't be a requirement, and with matchmaking the way it is, that's exactly what you get

  • @Kilmeran said:

I went back and read that July Developer Update again. Now, I'm starting to feel like it was a misunderstanding. They redid the two tutorials, and then added the vs Bots where you are either Dwight or Trapper. I have the sinking feeling the Dwight/Trapper modes were their version of "offline bots mode."

I hope that's not the case at all, because they know very well that those bot modes can only be accessed online. When they say "offline bot mode" they know damn well what people expect from that. Besides, those bot modes that follow after the tutorials were already there prior to the developer update, so nothing they say can make me believe that this wasn't supposed to be something entirely different.

  • @ThiccBudhha said:

Most chase perks suck, that is the bigger problem. Why would you bother running those when corrupt and ruin exist?

Simply because a lot of players expect you to be running a sweaty build such as ruin, tinker, undying, etc. Once they're engaged with you in a chase, if throws them off guard when they realize that not only will pallets have no effect on you thanks to endearing and spirit fury, but knowing that you can quickly catch up with them thanks to STBFL, completely catches them by surprise.

Now of course I'm not saying that every match ends victorious because sometimes generators do fly thanks to items like brand new parts and perks like prove thyself, but expecting a killer to be fully equipped to outperform you in a chase is it trump card that many players don't see coming, and it can be quite effective.

  • @Wedeguy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/276166/offense-or-defense

Corrupt is the best perk. you go on offensive and if you're good they shouldn't be able to finish 2 gens so fast while you get your first hook.

Honestly that's usually what I use as well. My build is usually corrupt, BBQ for info, endearing, and spirit fury. Sometimes I'll throw in STBFL instead of corrupt if I want a pure chase build, which sometimes can be quite effective!

  • @Hex_Llama said:

I was looking forward to that too, but it seems like it might have been a misunderstanding? I wish they would clarify and let us know whether this is an actual feature that was delayed or there was a miscommunication and they never intended to add it.

That's what I was thinking as well, however not only has nothing been said by any developer, but the moderators haven't spoken up either. This makes me think that it was an intended feature, but it either got scrapped or delayed, and they're not allowed to talk about it.

  • It looks to work in the same way (give or take) that OverWatch does. There looks to be bronze, silver, and gold. Each rank also looks to bring with it its own tiers (1,2,3, etc).

  • @Sunbreaker7 said:

Do you mean on consoles? Because that does not happen on PC, at least not for me.

Very possible, but you also have to keep in mind that the ptb is only available on PC which means it's being accessed by small amount of players. Once a much bigger player base has access to the chapter, the lag could be felt everywhere, even on PC like it was with the Resident Evil chapter.

  • Legion can be a lot of fun, unfortunately missing an attack with Legion is incredibly punishing, which sadly is easy to happen if you're playing with a controller. Not only does it cancel your power, but you endure a stun that's equivalent to DS. It takes forever to get your power back too.

Simply put, you're punished far too harshly for a power that doesn't down survivors.

  • @Sackboy123 said:

We kinda have in the form of the Tutorials, we got a revamp Tutorial and two bot matches as Killer and Survivor. Although you can only play as Trapper or against Trapper. Hopefully we get a full custom mode for Bots in the future

Correct, but there was supposed to be an offline mode to coincide with what can be found online, and those bot modes can only be accessed online.

It sucks because I know many (including myself) were looking forward to that. Because of the rank that I'm at, I would be sweating very hard with Killers I've never played with before, and that doesn't interest me in the least.

  • The ptb has shown that there's a new ranking system to coincide with Pinhead's release. I would like to assume that it's planned to go live in September.

  • I had a much more enjoyable time with SBMM on than off. Ever since the test ended my rank 9 survivor gets rank 1 killers and purple/yellow rank survivors. It's all over the damn place, and it's really annoying. I'm tired of the tests, just turn it on! LOL

  • @PigEmpress said:

SBMM was the dream. As a survivor I had fun, and as a killer - even if I averaged just 2 kills per game - it was all good because I had fun.

Same. Many of my games as killer ended with just two kills, but I didn't have to sweat for it. That's one of the things that turns me off of multiplayer games altogether. I don't want to sweat while I play because I'm not a competitive person. I turn to video games because it's my outlet. It's how I like to unwind at the end the day, and playing DBD is anything but soothing. LOL

  • @Junylar said:

This is why you dodge every lobby with more than one console player.

I was the one on console (PS5), everyone else was on PC.

  • I can certainly sympathize with you. There are far more good-natured gamers in this community than there are toxic players, but sadly it's the toxic ones that stick with you the most. Like you said there's only so many times you can shrug off what people say. Not everyone is built the same way, and some people can't understand that. Some players can turn the other cheek or laugh off those hurtful comments, but some people aren't as lucky. Don't pretend to understand why someone can't do what you do until you've walked a day in their shoes.

I know conversing with like-minded individuals can be fun, but sadly you're better off turning off comments altogether, or like others have suggested, playing something else to cleanse the palate until you're ready to go back.

  • @ImBrakingBike said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2454250#Comment_2454250

This is mainly because as average casual players we were matched against other average casual players. There was no sweat, no explicitly competitive approach to the game, just playing against a similarly skilled rival. The problem when we remove that system is that we start to get opponents that are either way above or below our league.

When you get matched to someone that's clearly better than you, it's never fun. You don't stand a chance, you know it and the other player knows it too. So you are just there at their mercy to try to see how many BPs you can rescue from this already lost match. In my opinion, the main opposition to this new system comes from people that were all of a sudden matched against other people at their level instead of lower-ranked opponents.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I've had games as killer where I'll be facing off against clearly brand new players with no more than two or three level 1 perks to their name, and I'll just be destroying them left and right. In that particular game I was ranked 12 but every survivor was ranked 17 to 20. I prayed that they were just chill survivors because otherwise if that was their introduction into DBD, then most likely they're never coming back.

  • @ThiccBudhha said:

Yeah, I already ran into my first hackers and I am not even high ranked. Like, no offense, but I would rather the red ranks deal with that issue. I am not down for it while trying to do stupid archive challenges. The matchmaking is really, really bad if it thinks I can face off against 100% escape rate swf.

Honestly I've heard it all. A lot of players will say "shrug it off", or "grow thicker skin", but when you're inundated like this time and again, it makes return trips far less appealing.

I can't imagine that the Resident Evil chapter won over many new Resident Evil players to DBD considering just how broken the game was. And considering that matchmaking has always been in a poor state, I'd rather play against bots forever then engage with this joke of a matchmaking system.

  • I can't justify prestiging any character, Killer or survivor. After 5 years there are far too many perks, and since DBD is still hung up on perks having tiers, means that it will take millions upon millions of blood points to get all those perks back. Not to mention the art department has really outdone themselves by creating some truly fantastic skins, so the need to wear some bloody clothes doesn't really do much for me.

I feel like it will vary killer to killer. But as far as power compared to effort put in per chase I wanna say it’s this one?

Very low effort, but extremely strong anti loop. Once you get hit with an ether bleach bottle you basically drop a pallet or take a hit and that’s that.

Funny, that's usually the build I run with Bubba. LOL I used to like running brutal strength, but if you're running Enduring, it just seems to make brutal strength a moot point. I don't know know, that's just me I guess.

I'm conflicted about that. On one hand you're right - I've seen examples where the company definitely could have benefited by being more transparent. At the same time the attitude that most people here have is the same attitude that most people had toward THQ when I was a member of their forums during the early 2010s. So on one hand, unfortunately, the level of (or lack of) direct interaction and clear answers from BHVR is, for better or worse, not unique. At the same time, having eventually been invited to do some work for THQ during that time, I also saw things from their perspective. A lot of times they wanted to be more clear, answer more questions, provide specific dates, etc., but doing so would either wind up blowing up in their face and making things worse OR there was someone over them - CEOs and so forth - who dictated what they could and couldn't say.

There was, for an example, an event in 2013 during which the upcoming WWE game from THQ / 2K Games was going to feature a famous old wrestler, "The Ultimate Warrior". I and the other people privy to this information were absolutely forbidden by way of NDA and full threat of legal action if we so much as hinted that we knew that the character was going to be included. When discussing this with the people directly above me, they openly admitted that they thought that the secrecy was stupid, that they were excited and would have been quite happy to share the excitement with the fans who they knew would also be excited, but they were nonetheless just as forbidden from sharing this information - not even by THEIR superiors, but by their superiors' superiors.

So I guess I'm saying is that I feel you. But try to understand that this is actually pretty common practice. In the end it's all business, and usually the people at the programming and PR level are the ones who are in agreement with you.

While I certainly understand where you're coming from, the difference here is that Behavior has a track record of making announcements and not following up on it. Console optimization is something they announced 3 years ago, and not only has it still not seen the light of day, but they don't even mention it. It's like they're pretending that announcement never happened.

Just recently the developer update mentioned that there would be an offline bot mode with the mid chapter, which never materialized, and there's still no word as to why. They give us the impression that they would prefer to sweep these matters under the rug. While that may not be the case, it's left their community grasping at straws.

  • What's really sad is that a lot of the frustration would cease to exist if behavior was more open with its community. The color-blind optimization is a perfect example of that. Why do complaints have to reach a fever pitch before anything gets mentioned?

  • @GentlemanFridge said:

Seeing as they appear to replace the current ranks, I'm guessing it's to make the upcoming rank reward system a bit more intuitive.

That's what I was thinking too, but I was wondering why not state that if it's live in the ptb? Seems odd to throw something big like that into the mix and not say anything.

  • Matchmaking in its current state sees players sweat far more than they should, especially if they're new or just practicing a killer they've never played with before. The developer update said that an offline bot mode was supposed to come with the mid chapter but it never happened, and there hasn't been any word from behavior as to why.

For me, until there's an actual way to practice without having to engage in sweaty online matches, then I'm all for a new matchmaking system.

  • The developer update said that we were supposed to get an offline bot mode with the mid-chapter, but it never happened. BHVR hasn't said why and it's really disappointing.

  • I will never understand the mentality of finding enjoyment in doing absolutely nothing. This is one of the reasons why I like the iron maiden perk. It exposes their location and makes them vulnerable for 30 seconds. Combine that with doctor and survivors won't be able to hide anymore.

  • @The_Krapper said:

The chain hunt is still on for the person holding the box though, and you pretty much can't do anything while you have it so sure he can't teleport to you if you don't open it but what good is it to do nothing the whole match and risk giving pinhead the box if you're caught?

That's why I stated he needs to be able to teleport to someone holding the box, say if they hold it for more than 3 seconds he can immediately teleport to it if he chooses , that gives him more map pressure and makes you have to choose when the right time to go for the box is instead of like now where the survivors just spam the button a few times to get you to pause to teleport losing pressure and being unable to teleport then continually do it every so many seconds, basically pinhead shouldn't be able to get trolled by his own ability and should be able to do something when the box is in their possession for more than a few seconds.

Yeah I think the box should be given the twins treatment in that if a survivor takes the box hostage then you should see their aura.

  • This was confusing for me as well. Simply picking up the box deactivates the chain hunt for all survivors, not solving it which doesn't make any sense. And one of pinheads iridescent add-ons reduces the aura of the box to 16m for survivors, but honestly I think that should be base kit. Being able to see the box from clear across the map is a tad much.

  • There's a difference between an swf and a bully squad. Most swfs are just friends looking to have a good time, whereas bully squads are out to be as toxic as possible. We all know that swf gives survivors an advantage that killers just can't compete with, and having a bully squad mixed in with that makes for a really lousy experience, but most people don't fall into that group.

I just had this match. This is when my queues are fast.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/W741TW7FFDWT/match-png.png

Looks like it matched to ranks pretty well.

The current system wants to match like ranks together. It is programmed to do so. The reason it doesn't like in your case is because of queue times. If one side is experiencing long queue times, the system looks for players outside of the initial rank range to get players in a match faster.

Fun fact: Those players that posted about rank and skill discrepancies during the SBMM tests weren't posting to say SBMM is doing it and rank based match making isn't. They were posting to say it happens with SBMM too. BHVR has been strict with rank match making before. It always led to complaints about how long queue times were. I remember before cross play was added on both XBox and PC (yes, I used to play on both), my region having killer queues as long as 30 minutes. I remember some other regions having queues of an hour. On PS4 it was survivors with the long queues.

One of the SBMM tests had a high MMR streamer that had over 2 hour long queues. The only game he got was because a high rank SWF stream sniped him. BHVR is not going to allow queues to be that long. In this last test, I also had some very lopsided matches. One match I would have 8000 hour players. The next I might have 250 hour players. The only difference was I couldn't see a rank number in the end screen to tell how far out of my skill range the system needed to look to find me a match in an acceptable time.

How long are you willing to wait to get the best match possible? If you don't want to wait any longer than you currently do when you have your longest queue times, you are going to have to deal with lopsided matches with either system.

You asked how long I'm willing to wait to get the best match possible, and yet if we had a decent matchmaking system, this wouldn't be an issue. I shouldn't have to choose between long queue times for a good match, or quick queue times with lopsided results. Both outcomes lead to a disinterest in the game altogether.

All I'm saying is that the SBMM provided a much more even playing field for me. Now that it's turned off I really don't ever care to play solo survivor or killer much anymore. My first killer match after it was turned off had me go up against an all red rank swf. Needless to say my ranked 13 killer didn't do so well. 😕 I don't expect every match to be on point, but right now there are far more lopsided results than there are good matches.

Have the exact same again since SBMM was turned back off. Last game I was going with rank 19 teammates vs a rank 2 killer. Games are shorter than lobby + loading screen time.

I've decided to go look for people to SWF with. I'm usually playing solo because I like playing not always with the same people running the same perk and playing the same way, but at this point I don't see why I should just constantly be frustrated. Solo just isn't worth it anymore, at least for my idea of "fun" in a game.

I can't speak for everyone, but I'm in the camp that had a pleasant time with the SBMM. Like you I don't like resulting to a "sweaty build" time and again, but it's the only way to ensure that you last longer than 5min.

  • You're not wrong. Killers are already at a big disadvantage when they face against a SWF, and with perks like prove thyself and items like toolboxes and brand new parts, coupled with more than one survivor on a generator, the speed at which generators are finished is ridiculously quick. But like others have stated, finding the right balance is a tricky thing indeed. You don't want to make the game impossible for survivors, but at the same time not broken for Killers.

Perhaps the right balance would be having a lesser cool down on Killer powers. I don't know, but bloodlust isn't cutting it anymore.

I don't know about that. At the end of Halloween 2018, he might as well have run out of power and become a useless M1 killer. He got his ass absolutely kicked by the Strode ladies. Heck 40 years prior, I think he ran out of power there, too. Little 17-year-old Laurie messed him up at the end. He had to resort to just trying to choke her. 😂

I don't know man, for an old man in 2018 he sure does kick some serious ass! 😄

  • I do love how he mirrors the movies perfectly, however unlike the movies he never...RUNS OUT OF POWER! Nothing worse than knowing that he can't feed anymore and becomes a useless m1 killer. 😕

Actually I think the PTB having those new symbols might hint to SBMM and new ranking may be not that far away anymore.

Maybe so, but I remember when they turned on the MMR only to pull it and never reactivate it, and that was over a year ago. So like I said, I'll believe it when I see it.

  • MMR (or SBMM as it's now being called) most likely won't go live for a while. BHVR has been doing nothing but tests for a few years now, so if this goes live this year and stays that way, then I will be very impressed.

Don't worry it's probably coming permanently in a couple a months.

Behavior has been discussing the MMR for years now. All we keep getting are tests. I'd like to think it's coming too, but at this point I'll believe it when I see it.
