  • Do you think killers, or Behaviour for that matter, gives a single funk about your fun?

They literally just buffed the worst aspects of the game and they're congratulating each other on how amazing they are.

  • Hm yeah I mean it's already been established all killer games are dumb easy now. Enjoy I guess. Might as well play a single player game against NPCs at this point lol

  • This, according to the killer mains that will soon swarm this thread, is BALANCE.

Suffer, you filthy OP random survivors.

    So I hopped on for a 6th game...big mistake.

This is the face of the Blight that killed me and my teammate at 5 gens (4th gen completed while I was in my last chase). Though tbf, I basically handed myself up to him on a silver platter so he'd chase me instead of mori my teammate right away. He didn't camp, but he sure made a point to rush all the way back to each unhook. Kinda sad, really, because I could tell he has at least 100hrs on Blight and doesn't need to play this way to 4k.

    And this is his attitude:

Hope everyone else's night is going swell :)

This is literally 99% of killers at high MMR.

What amazes me is how people are acting surprised that, when killers are allowed to do so, they play the scummiest and worst they possibly can. Duh?

I think your mixing up survivors and killers on the hold W thing there. And I've gotten out of plenty of matches as a survivor since the patch. I've lost some too, but you know what, I usually pip, and I move on to another game. Or are do Survivors just want a free 4E?

Killers are the ones who actually want (and got) a guaranteed 4k every match.

This game is like The Quarry now. Enjoy your cutscenes I guess.

As a solo Survivor main, cya. Game feels just fine to me.

Also as someone who's been playing since 2016, I've personally seen Survivors crying wolf far more than Killers have on the forums, but this is anecdotal evidence and doesn't really mean anything. Most of the toxicity I've seen in this game has came strictly from Survivors.

    Another killer only player.

He probably mains Omegablink Nurse and Stridor Spirit, tunnels the first survivor out at 5 gens, and then writes "ez" post game chat.

    Nothing new, moving on.

  • Didn't you say before a day wasn't enough to judge? Is 2 days enough then?

Or is it only alright if you say it's getting better, as opposed to worse?

Interesting thought process of some people.

  • I just find it funny how, unless you're extremely killer biased, anybody can call this a proper meta shakeup. It's just objectively not.

BT and Off the Record are better, but I'd say BT is the only one TRULY useful at this point. Off the Record has gotten a good buff, but it's still whatever if everyone does bring BT.

What any other perk that got reworked got substantially buffed and is worth using over old meta?

    NONE lol

  • @Gylfie said:

Is Lightweight actually noticeable now? I've used it a bit as survivor but I have no idea if it messes with the killer at all.

I just think it's very niche and not worth calling it meta.

Since only 2 perks got buffed and the rest are just garbage, BT and Off the record are the only 2 true meta perks now.

  • 99% of the buffs perks got are a joke.

Only 2 perks got ACTUALLY buffed : BT and Off the record.

The rest of the buffs are literal dumpster worthy.

3000 hours. Most of it on killer. Stream killer, but sure. I'm a survivor main. I'm just willing to admit what is and what is not actually broken with the game.

Don't even try. I learnt to just ignore a few specific people in this forum, that are too biased and basically blinded by that. Nothing productive will come out of arguing with those.

Anytime you read "the true reason survivors complain is..."

uh yeah? Eyrie, most of farm maps but especially cowshed,All The Springwood maps,Haddonfield, garden of joy,all red forest maps, that autohaven map with walls that span more distance than the great wall of china.

Tons of maps can have busted RNG in general. Maybe you just don't understand how to loop?

    Edit: Almost forgot Predrop Plant.

    Haddonfield survivor sided?

Maybe you're just a really bad killer? I don't think even the last buffs can save you either lol

  • And I think you're largely mistaken.

Putting the bad attitude of some aside, because those people should just stop playing, this was a bad update, and you don't necessarily need to adapt to something you don't agree with.

I'm just going to agree on one thing with you: Rather than ruining games, just stop playing if you don't like it. That speaks louder.

DS useless? It's literally doing what it was supposed to do, sorry you can't have whole minute immunity when you aren't even being tunneled, old DS was abused to oblivion and we both know that.

Please tell me training wheels you see for killers, because literally all good perks reward you for making a good play.

Okay so DS is not a training wheel anymore. Glad we agree.

DS = Assuming you don't even breathe or unintendedly click on yourself and it's gone: You give a 3 seconds stun. Considering the animation and the stagger, it's virtually 2 seconds.

2 seconds, even against a Hag, is a guaranteed down unless you happen to be next to a window or a pallet. Considering how half the reworked maps are all deadzones now, just good luck buddy.

    Training wheels for killers :

    • Reworked maps with deadzones
    • Bloodlust
    • Buffed Game Stalling and gen regression
    • Grabs on hooks with the worst hitboxes and animation locks in the gaming history
    • Camping
    • Tunnelling
    • Window vaulting that blocks windows after the third vault
    • Constant perk buffs, update after update after update
    • Nurse + omega addons
    • Spirit with a 10+ euros headset
    • Hitboxes, period
    • Latency
    • Nerfed vaults
    • Nerfed pallet stuns (the stun happens at the end of the animation, this combined with the hit boxes is a bliss)

... Do I need to elaborate more?

So, again, what training wheels do I have today as a solo Q survivor?

  • @feruis said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3078003#Comment_3078003

You are acting like survivors didn't have and still don't have training wheels? I mean if you really want to go that far let's see how every tournament ends, how survivors are playing with nurse? The game is supposed to be challenging, it's 4v1 after all, you can't have give survivors better 1v1

Please tell me what training wheels I have as a solo Q survivor. Deaha... ah damn that doesn't exist anymore. DS... damn it that's been a useless perk for months now, after this update it's just dead.

Self Care is a training wheel? Damn. Was it before? and now? Or is it a training wheel when combined with bottany knowledge AND a medkit?

The myth of OP survivors has been a weak one since 2019. Now it's just a joke.

  • @feruis said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3077935#Comment_3077935

Typical answer from bad survivor main, maybe try to learn the game without training wheels and hand holding, them maybe you will get good. Not from my experience, but sheep's will follow I guess.

You mean the big fat training wheels you've been consistently getting as killer over the last years, and very much especially after this last patch? Though the last patch didn't give you training wheels, it gave you training trucks.

You might be expecting Bloodlust 3 to kick upon spotting a survivor, next.

Then you'd come up with an argument among the lines of "BuT NOt AlL KiLLeRs BeNeFIt FrOm bLLoodLusT, LoK At NuRSE"

Anyway, nothing new to see here.

If survivors are going down in 10 seconds it is kinda on them and deserve to lose the game. You can’t really fix bad players nor balance around them.

That's just an example. An example that does reflect the majority of the matches. If you (Behaviour) can't provide me any other experience than matching me with 100 and 200 hours Claudettes that don't know what looping is, then this last patch with killer buffs left and right and survivor nerfs left and right is uncalled for, unnecessary, and out of touch with reality.

Give me the players I must be matched with, make MMR work, and then you can buff what needs to be buffed (For example, bloodlust doesn't need to be buffed at all, it shouldn't even exist period).

And if there is not enough high MMR players to make that consistent, then these last patch shouldn't have happened either.

Well, it might bother you in particular because you actually want to play a game and have fun working for your wins, competing agaisnt other players.

There's many others, however, that want to watch a cutscene and roleplay as if they were actually good and menacing.

Those are happy with this update.

Like the buffed BT? Since that stacks with the inbuild mini BT? Or the OtR that gives Endurance for 80 seconds? I wanna see the killer that waits that out...

So you think Off the Record fixes camping and tunnelling?

    Or BT?

is it mandatory? Weren't they going to "shake up the meta"?

  • *DS is worthless*

    There, fixed it for you.

  • @JoByDaylight said:

    My friends hate this game.

    Same.

Plus, why can't I have a -decent- ( not saying I'm gonna get the best of the best because when coordination is missing in any team work game, that's not possible) chance and experience playing solo? The game should be balanced around the majority, not the 0,000001% tournament players. I want to be able to play this game solo, without having to get therapy for it.

  • I think it's fair to say, that people give credit to the team when it's deserved (I know I do), why would I credit the team when they didn't do anything to deserve it?

I always praised Behaviour's art team, they make beautiful cosmetics (overpriced, but beautiful) and whoever person is designing and making the skins and designing the survivors and killers, good freakin' job.

HOWEVER, this patch is just bad, they take too long (years, literally years) to address basic urgent bugs, fixed and balance changes, and just praising them for the sake of praising them, when they very evidently did a bad job, benefits NOBODY.

  • I mean, I'm not going to keep posting the same commentary over and over, I think at this point unless you've not been reading what people say, you can answer it yourself?

    1. No real meta shakeup, it's all the same. Except, what was very good has been made useless, and in exchange you got mediocre stuff. Only 2 REAL survivor buffs were BT and Off the record. That is it. We got taken away a lot, and given back barely anything. That sucks, is annoying and is boring.
    2. Tunnelling and camping buffed by removing the tools that band aided them (not fix them) : Better DS, Deadhard, repairing faster. Instead, you have a 5 seconds endurance that does -nothing-. Survivors know it, killers know it (they're just playing pretend) and Behaviour -should- know it. In their case they just don't care.
    3. Solo Q survivor, the worst experience of the game, has been FURTHER nerfed.
    4. Undeserved, unrelated to skill killer buffs. Bloodlust shouldn't be a thing. It rewards being bad, and if you rely on Bloodlust for kills you're just bad and need to get better. Simple as that. It doesn't feel bad to get beaten by someone who's better than you or outplayed you. It feels bad to get beaten by the game and force you to lose against someone who's just worse, everyone knows it, but the game gives them a win. That's unfair, boring and annoying. If that's the experience I'm gonna get playing as survivor, I'll let someone else play that role.
    5. Buffing game stalling, gen regression. Thana.... blablablabla. Yeah no, I'm not sitting through all of that just so you can play your match.

And I could keep elaborating but as I said, I'm just repeating myself at this point.

But honestly, it's just the survivor's fault. People who enable this Behaviour, pun intended, by providing them with the numbers they need to keep making it profitable to use survivors as punching bags. If you got a sweaty tryhard SWF team who's gonna gen rush in 3 minutes, go ahead! But me as a solo Q player, I'm not going to play the game just for your exclusive entertainment.

  • I understand the bias. And the entitlement. I get that.

What I don't understand however is, how can this be honestly fun for -any DECENT (as in experienced)- killer main. I mean, other than the very rare occasional once in a blue moon sweaty SWF squad that might end up bullying you, how is easily stomping everyone all the time fun? Especially when it is not your merit, the game forces you to win.

That's why I can't main Nurse and I get bored instantly after 2 matches.

Don't you get bored of it?

  • I see many "ifs" and "providing that"... I played solo Q mate, there's nothing in my control when everyone goes down in 10 seconds and I have to choose between finishing 1 miserable generator in the whole match or let everyone die within 2 minutes.

  • @Nazzzak said:

For survivor I think Lightweight will definitely end up meta. I haven't tried it but was watching a cpl different streamers run it earlier and the killers kept losing them. Massive time wasting perk.

Very situational because depends on the map. I still have to try it myself, and since solo Q is unplayable I don't think I will play anytime soon, but I can see it being good in indoor maps. Otherwise, Lucky Break does what Lightweight does but better, so... meta? Meh, I don't know.

In my opinion, they only really buffed BT and Off the Record, and those two don't make up for the nerfs the other perks got (Iron Will, Spine Chill, Deadhard, DS) so overall survivors are much weaker than before with nothing gained.

  • @Risky_Biscuit said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3075976#Comment_3075976

Man, if only I could just stand there and get 4 kills. Oh wait, Killer players still have to work for their kills just like always. The only difference now is survivors lost some of their busted perks that gave them massive advantages over ehat should have been the power role.

The gap has been closed between Killer and Survivor, and these changes have not impacted how good survivors can be. They just have less BS ways to cheat killers out of kills now.

I played as killer several times last night, once as Clown and got steamrolled just like old times. I was actively kicking gens and chasing survivors but it made zero difference. They still all escaped.

Yes, Killer buffs happened, but we got nerfs as well. Killer feels much better to play than before but these changes alone are not the be all end all to end the survivors' reign of terror. Good survivors will still stomp killers, period. Now they just have less chances to screw up before it costs them.

Good SWF will stomp most (not all) killers*****

As for randoms, since MMR prioritises matches over proper rank matching, they will get stomped left and right.

But that was the goal wasn't it? to make it seem like the killers who were bad and couldn't get kills through actual skill, are hand held by the game to force a win they didn't deserve.

  • @ausanimal said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3075976#Comment_3075976

killers are meant to be the power role in these types of games as your facing 4 survivors not 1 in other games it was 1v8, survivors have to learn to work as a team to outplay the killer. Soon as survivors can't bully the killers any more they get upset and quit, take F13th when they changed Jason rage so you could no longer stun him apart from a few things survivors got upset big time because the couldn't bully Jason for 20 min.

Survivors should have a good chance to escape with perks and working as a team but in the end the killer is the power role and if survivors can't work as a team even with good perks the killer should win. people need to stop this 1v1 thinking of this game its 1v4 if your other 3 teammates are bad and you lose tough luck but that's not the killers fault you had weak teammates.

You want the game to win for you, I want to win my games. That's the difference between you and me.

Lol Im Rank Iri 1 on both sides every month. This maybe doesnt show skill, but it shows the time I put into the game on both sides. Today I am Iri IV on Killer and Silver II on Survivor

Unless you can prove it through DBD stats, using one of those webs that keep track of it, I have to simply assume you're lying, like many others do very often.

  • @Crowman said:

I wouldn't say it's fine, but it's certainly better than people act. Some nights I get really bad teammates and mmr being the way it is means it can be a struggle to get better teammates on a losing streak. But that's just how solo queue in any game goes. Sometimes you get awesome teammates and sometimes you get really bad ones.

Still there's still a divide between solo q strength and swf strength and hopefully bvhr's next mid-chapter focuses on improving solo q.

I think it's worse than people make it out to be. They say it's the worst experience you can have in DBD. I think it's worse than that.

On the other hand, for those changes you say you hope to see, see you in another 6 years, maybe.

  • Look, another solo Q player that never actually plays solo Q.

You mean like survivors that got free wins with their stupid amount of second chance perks?

Nobody got a free win. Stop spreading myths and lies at once. I've been a solo Q player since 2016, I even have my Legacy Nea proudly worn as a badge of being a veteran, and nobody but me knows the amount of carrying I had to perform throughout all these years as a solo queue survivor. I didn't get any free win mate.

You are getting free wins now, courtesy of Behaviour.

  • @Toaster427 said:

as a killer main, I seriously don't know how some of you are even defending it.

I'm barely paying attention and I'm getting 4ks with 5 gens still up. this is not fun, this is painstaking boring and the challenge of playing killer has been reduced to zero, none of the wins even feel like an achievement anymore.

Because this was the bad killers patch. The kind of killers who want "to be the power role" and "be respected and feared", without actually deserving any power role, respect, or fear.

Back in 2016-17-18-19, when killers were not nearly as powerful as they are now compared to much more powerful survivors, you were taught fear and respect by actually good killers who just outplayed you. That's when you respected them.

For a while now though and especially after this last patch, killers are a joke. The game is forcing a win for them, they don't achieve anything. So at this point it's just hard to tell who's good and who's not good.

This is looking more and more like a cutscene rather than an online PvP game.

  • You do realise that, despite being obviously sarcastic, a lot of people here are so absurdly biased that think you're dead serious, right?

  • Simple solution: Don't engage. Actions speak louder than words, if you want to send a message, just don't play this patch.

  • @Marik1987 said:

This update makes me enjoy the game even more. On both sides.

You need to actually consistently play one side to consider it a side. One match a month as Ash rank and the lowest MMR in history, possibly with friends too, doesn't accurately represent the consistebt solo Q experience.

  • Well, what his patch can teach you is, if you're not good and can't win a game through skill, if you're loud and persistent enough and complain enough, you will be buffed to the point of forcing a win against better players than you are.

This, apparently, seems to be the Behaviour way.

  • I just stopped playing after I tried it yesterday and today tbh. I wasn't even seriously considering coming back since I have Evil Dead and VHS now, but I decided to give the " famous perk overhaul update addressing tunnelling and camping and shaking up the meta " thing a try.

    This update is just -bad-

    1. It replaced the same long dull boring meta, with an even worse, duller, more boring meta. They buffed tunnelling and camping, they buffed bloodlust (like, why? it's literally the most bad player rewarding, undeserved, worst way to buff killers with literally 0 skill)
    2. It took away a lot, and it didn't give back half of what it took. Sure, nerf deadhard and DS and such. WHat are you giving me in echange? Off the record? A passive perk that adds Endurance (which BT already does better anyway). What are you giving me for nerfing Iron Will, Spine Chill, and more? Lightweight? as if Lucky Break didn't do everything Lightweight does but just so much better. They basically ruined the best perks to give you garbage. New Pharmacy? really? You can't even see the chests' auras and what are you gonna do, bring coins and Plunderers, 2 perks and an offering just to heal?
    3. It motivates camping and tunnelling because they removed the tools that helped this (DS, Deadhard) and replaced them with literally -useless- mechanics. 5 Second Endurance is just nothing. A joke. So you are forced to bring BT/Off the record - Every. Single. Match. So much for adding variety huh? Now you only realistically have 2 perk slots as a survivor if you want to be efficient and band aid basic gameplay issues that are now more prominent than ever (camping and tunnelling). So much variety, so much fun.
    4. Buff to the most boring and dull aspect of the game : Gen regression and game stalling. Gens taking forever, sitting on a repairing simulator for ages. "Just bring Prove Thyself!!!" I'm guessing it's also mandatory now right? We're down to 1 perk slot then. Again, so much variety and meta shakeup.
    5. Solo Q in the literal dumpster. A big middle finger to veteran players that have stuck around as solo players for this long.
    6. Oh, also blatant lies and exaggerations about reducing the grind.

THey have only done 1 thing right, releasing cosmetics. As always. You can always count on Behaviour to release nice cosmetics.

    Everything else, is just awful.

  • @Xernoton said:

SoloQ is not fine. It really isn't. If your soloqueue games are "perfectly fine" congrats, but you might be the only one. I am a killer main and after playing a few matches of soloqueue today and yesterday after the patch I understand 100% why many survivors are unhappy with the killer changes. I didn't use all the meta perks survivors had anyway so it doesn't hit me as much, but the 10s more for each gen and buffed monstrous shrine make camping a pretty much failsafe way to get you a 3k as a killer. Out of all the matches I played only ONE wasn't down right horrible and that ONE match sadly was against a beginner killer, that had no clue what they were doing, so it was horrible but in a different way. The nerf to self care is the worst about it. You still your team mates running to a corner of the map and self care even if the killer has Sloppy Butcherer. I do agree that self care should not be used by so many people but a lot of players will run it anyway. On top of all that the matchmaking seems to go haywire. From bad killers to Huntresses that hit you across the map and NEVER miss a single hatchet I've seen it all today.

His solo Q games aren't fine, because he doesn't play them. This is another person who mainly plays killer trying to create a fake narrative to make it seem like the changes are fine. There's not many of them in this forum, maybe 10 or 12, just a handful. But they're -extremely- vocal (pretty much you can see the same person creating 5 or 6 threads in a row praising the update or trying to debunk the complaints) who spend 24-7 here, they're extremely biased and upset at survivors in general for some surprising reason beyond comprehension, and will say anything to defend even the most bizarre and ridiculous nerfs survivors get.

They never did care or will care about balance, they care about making the developers buff them to the point they're pretty much guaranteed to win every match, so then they can feel in control of the game, because "killers are supposed to be the power role", but because they can't achieve it through actual skill, they need the game to force a win for them. That's why they enjoy fast pallet breaking, that's why the enjoy no punishment to camping or tunnelling, that's why they enjoy almost instant bloodlust (which rewards and buffs the worst players of all) and want everything handed to them.

This is not all killers. But this is a lot of the most vocal minority of the most entitled you will see in this forum, unfortunately.

  • "Solo Queue is perfectly fine"

Said no -actual- regular solo Q player, ever.

  • Solo is completely unplayable. I just had a match against a Billy. He was just -bad- , a bad player who doesn't know how to play Billy. He downed the first survivor within 20 seconds of the match. The next down followed very shortly. Then, two more chases happened and each survivor took about 10 seconds to go down again. He chased me around a jungle gym and after a while we moved on to shack and he gave up on me. Moved on to another survivor, down in 10 seconds again.

Everyone but me was on death hook. There were 5 generators left.

Yeah no, I dropped the game after that. I'm not participating in this pointless ######### show.

  • @TheArbiter said:

I feel like all this meta did was make Solo Q a nightmare and not really affect SWF, but to answer your question if people I know want to play together than absolutely I will

Solo Q was already a nightmare. This just confirmed Behaviour doesn't give a flying feck about solo Q, they consider killers more important because they need them, and SWF more important because they need them and so they buy their overpriced skins. So they give bits and pieces to both sides so they shut up, and then obliterate solo Q because they're not majority and nobody cares about them. To be fair most of the players don't care about solo Q either. Killer mains are entitled and will take any survivor nerf any time of the day, and SWF doesn't even know solo Q exists.

You sure about that? I'm more than confident that the majority of players on both sides already recognize almost all the totem spawns on every map with odd exceptions like Swamp/Garden of Joy/Lerys

There's also Maps, Small Game, Counterforce & Detective's Hunch

Actually, no. In fact most survivors can't even find the most obvious Farm totems after 6 years.

How does this help survivors, and especially random survivors though. Solo Q (absolute bottom tier of this game, the dumpster role) gets nerfed even more in this patch.

  • 90% of my matches are Nurses, Blights and occasionally I see a Huntress or another random killer like Legion, Trapper...

Haven't met a single Dredge actually

Nurse is a product of her time. Back when hiding and juking was DBD's core gameplay for Survivor, not looping.

History lesson for you : Back before patch 1.4.0 Looping was nowhere near as powerful as it is today. In Patch 1.4.0 the developers re-sized the Survivors hit boxes to be smaller, in order to help Survivors not get hit out in the open so easy, and to help compensate for latency issues. This had an unintentional effect, as Survivors found out they could now hug objects much tighter than before. This, in turn, meant they could run around objects in tighter, and therefore, faster circles than Killers could. Before this, you could get MAYBE one Loop out of a Pallet. Instead of the usual 2-3 now, before having to drop it. Thus, Looping as it is known today was born. This, by all accounts, makes Looping an Exploit as it fits the definition of video game exploits.

    See Link here -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game_exploit

Survivors, still reeling from the loss of true Infinites, took to this like fish to water. The developers planned to fix it at first, but quickly decided to leave it in the game and try to balance around it due to pressure from their Survivor player base. The majority player base of Survivor Mains just couldn't win without having something that was blatantly game breaking to abuse. Most Survivors then told the biggest lie in the games history : "We want to be chased all game! That's what's fun!" In order to protect this new exploit. The developers caved, and have been struggling to re-balance the game for its inclusion ever since.

Killers were simply ill-equipped to deal with Looping and Stealth. This is why Killers now have a PLETHORA of aura reading perks, add ons, powers, and abilities. The developers gave the Survivors what they wanted, to be chased all game and let them have their loops. They are simply trying to give both sides what they want. Killers the power to be able to stand up to Looping, Survivors the game play they wanted. Though truth is, neither side is very happy.

In short : Killers are getting the balance they wanted (I say getting cause they still aren't there yet). However, not the game play they want.

Survivors are got the game play they wanted, but not the balance they want (as in being OP as hell).

Throughout the History of DBD the balance of the game has been nothing but the Survivors bunny hoping from one broken thing to abuse to the next. Infinites, Looping, Instant-Blind Flashlights, Pre-nerf Brand New Parts (The first nerf wasn't enough, and the second wasn't either. Only after the third and most recent nerf is BNP balanced), and finally Gen Rushing. Killers had only one truly game breaking exploit they abused the crap out of that lasted for any decent amount of time, and that was Machine Gun Build.

Even now, survivors are STILL abusing a plethora of things that break the game's balance. Most noteworthy being SWF on voice comms.

The reason Nurse MAY be overpowered is all thanks to Survivors. I know this makes me sound like a bias Killer Main, but it's the truth. The point is the developers changed the way the game is played around an exploit. One that has been GAME BREAKING from the start. It's been nothing but one game breaking exploit to the next for Survivors, and Killers being pigeon holed into strict metas to compensate. Now the game is getting balanced around Looping, and only looping... Yeah, Nurse may be OP soon enough. Problem is, the other Killers are still WOEFULLY unable to cope with Looping as a whole. Then you add in Hyper coordinated SWF, Nurse is the only one who can stand up to them.

What you're saying here is, because of the 0,5% of the player base who concentrate the following conditions: FUll SWF, competitive, sweaty tryhard experienced players with many hours using meta perks, then the rest of the playerbase, the vast majority of survivor players have to be at a tremendous disadvantage and just never have a fair winning chance. Forget about it if you're with randoms against a veteran Nurse. Nurse is broken and absurd, but she's fine because a ridiculous minority can beat her.

It's just such a dumb flawed logic that people like you use, and there's only one factor that you mentioned yourself : Entitlement.

Because, yes indeed, survivors were the dominating role and the big guy back in 2016 and 2017. Very early stages of the game, killers got stomped left and right. But this has been not the case for several years now. But because during the early years killers got bullied and stomped and made fun of so much, this myth about survivors being OP has remained for all this time.

It just isn't true anymore for a long time. Killers have been very strong (experienced ones, anyway, because in 1vs4 games the person playing alone has always been the one to have to tryhard at first to get good, that's obvious) for a very long while now. The only thing that remains now as a powerhouse are those very sweaty tryhard meta SWF groups. And those will mostly remain the same, as always, while, also as always, solo Q gets shat on, bullied, stomped and trashed patch after patch after patch. I'm personally sick of it.

I've been a solo Q player since 2016. Occasionally I have been in SWF and mostly a duo, but 70% of my time has been solo Q. Because of this I'm probably a lot better than your average SWF player because I have been forced to carry randoms who are clueless for years. I enjoy killers that take skill and are fair to go against (My favourite killer to fight is Huntress, I love playing against her, because I feel like it's fair) when, having an equal chance at it, if I'm better I can come on top, and if I'm worse I will go down anyway. Nurse completely negates all of it. I'm good against Nurses, and can back it up ( unlike most people trash talking on this forum, trying to lecture others about how to get good against Nurses, when they probably can't last 20 seconds against a God tier one ) but if the Nurse is very experienced, and this is not hard to achieve, she negates most of the things you can do, and she's basically playing against herself : If she makes no mistakes, she wins, and your input doesn't matter. Even maps that are "bad" for her (the game) aren't a problem for the really sweaty tryhard Nurses. She's basically cheat mode once you know how to play her.

The only people who defend her are people who want to stomp everyone all the time not through skill, but through overpowered mechanics that allow you to negate every counterplay other than just coordinated gen rushing and doing all gens in 3 minutes through a well prepared SWF squad.
