  • If they aren't camping then tunneling isn't going to be a problem. If you keep getting found and downed by a killer who isn't camping then the survivor obviously isn't playing well because how would they keep getting found? That just means the survivor has garbage stealth skills.

  • Ebony moris are ultra rare, if i use one you can bet I'll be in try hard mode. Not letting a ebony mori go to waste.

Toxic perks? See? Even the killers load out is considered toxic. They dont like your loadout = rage quit. Its out of control on ps4, Im so tired of it Im barely playing any more. They know if people are rage quitting, they just dont wanna ban 75% of their player base.

They see the perks and know they aren't good enough to play against that so they quit. I can kinda understand because I get into games where we're just getting wreaked to the point that nobody is even trying to repair generators, it's a purely altruistic game where we are just trying to get blood points by rescuing each other.

I don't ragequit by the way, just saying some perks and killers are way more annoying to play against than others.

  • I don't think tunneling is inherently bad. If the killer is constantly going after you maybe it's because you are an easy target who is not good at escaping or maybe you aren't being as stealthy as the other players. I've been accused of tunneling before when in reality the survivor was just not very good at avoiding me.

Camping is annoying if you are the one being camped, although it works well for the other survivors because then they can work on gens without worry of being interrupted. If I'm being camped I prefer the other surivivors to do gens and not try and save me. I'll stay on the hook as long as possible. Even though in the end I'm not going to get many blood points, maybe it'll teach that killer a lesson if the others can complete gens quickly while he's being a douchbag.

  • Maybe if they ever get Jason Voorhees they can add Pamela as a combo.

  • @T0xicTyler said:

The solution is to put pressure back on the Killer by completing gens.

That's a solution for the other survivors, not for the one being camped. So the other survivors get to rush gens and stack up a bunch of blood points and escape but what about you, the one being camped? What do you get? Nothing. 6000 points if you're lucky and everybody else, including the killer, gets more blood points than you. Meanwhile it took you 10 minutes to find a game only to receive pennies.

The problem is as a survivor you are rewarded based on your individual performance, not on the team performance. So as a survivor if you get camped it sucks big time regardless if everyone else on the team wins.

  • Freddy's lullaby cannot be heard by a woke survivor. The lullabye only plays during the transition to sleep. (logically this make the most sense anyway since a lullaby is a song that you sing to put someone to sleep.) Freddy only exist in dreams so why the hell does he have a terror radius in the real world?

  • I can ######### understand why survivors are so god damn salty all the time... Playing survivor is nothing but ######### aggravating...

If you just started playing Survivor there is no way you are going against killers with ruin and ebony moris every game. I'm calling fake post.

If you just said your teammates sucked that would be believable.

You complain about MoM yet we have a system where every match is EZ mode for killer if they know what they're doing. By simple giving them a option to close the hatch it allows both players at the end a 50-50 on who finds the hatch first.

And guess what? If the killer finds it first you're screwed. Don't believe me? I had a match where I killed 3 survivors and one was left, I found the hatch almost instantly and closed it and had a clear vantage point over both gates. In the end I just felt bad and let the survivor open the gate, but it was too late since after they finished the Entity came in and killed them anyways.

Now I can agree MoM is kinda busted under the right circumstances, but if you now how to NOT tunnel its not really an issue. But to say you need Billy and or Nurse 99% is a gross exaggeration, and this is coming from a killer main...

It's not really 50-50. The survivor has the slight advantage since the killer has to sacrifice the other surivivor before he can move to close the hatch, that gives the last survivor a head start. Just have to make sure the third survivor is going to be sacrificed as soon as he is hanged.

Or Freddy attacks you first. Then he reveals himself at that point. But, putting you in a dream never reveals him. Only if he attacks (or you find out by finding a NIGHTMARE CLUE).

The only problem with that is then Freddy would basically get a free hit and that would be too OP unles the first hit doesn't put the survivor in the injured state.

  • Why would Freddy be invisible when they are in dream world? He's not in the movies. The only time they can see Freddy is when they are sleeping.

All they need to do is get rid of the lullaby when the survivor is awake. They should not be able to hear the lullaby if they are not asleep. Freddy should not have any terror radius for an awake survivor. Since he is basically non-existent in the real world.

Rather the lullaby should play during the dream transition. That way the survivor will have some time to run before Freddy can attack, and Freddy just can't come up on someone fixing a generator and pull them off before they can do anything.

This one. Achievement matched the game so perfect.

LOL. Is that the trophy you earn when a survivor messages you to cry about camping or tunneling? 🤣

  • Predator can see players auras, but they can temporary hide their auras by rolling in puddles of mud that spawn throughout the levels when predator is the killer. For one of his perks during the end game collapse he can go into "self destruct mode" where the end game timer is cut by 30/40/50% but predator is rendered immobile after it is initiated.

  • How is it suprising that hag has the highest kill rate? Her power is OP against lower rank and viable in higher ranks and she's super easy to use. Unlike Nurse, her power doesn't require much skill. Now Trapper is surprising. I probably end up stepping in my own traps more than the survivors but maybe I'm just clumsy.

When you can kill 3 out of 4 survivors and get more points than them and still lose, that's when you know something is broken.

If you kill 3 out 4 that's closer to a win than a loss. While it's not a "win" in the purest sense (getting 4k) niether is it for the 3 survivors who died. You won against more players than you lost to.

  • I'm honestly surprised Hag hasn't been nerfed. Hag is the strongest character in my opinion in terms of ease of use and ability. I mean they nerfed legion to death to where he is absolutely useless but keep other killers op. It's just a mess. But nerfing isn't the answer. Every killer should be viable in higher ranks. When everyone in the higher ranks is playing only 3 of the 14 killers you know it's not balanced.

The issue is that it's funny to me that the devs are perfectly willing with implementing ways to prevent Surviviors from holding the game hostage but when killers have ways to hold the game hostage (even when the basement isn't part of the equation, eg one of the hatch spawns in Badham being set so the killer can corner a Survivior and prevent them from even attempting a hatch escape) they're dead f***ing silent

That's not holding the game hostage though. The game can easily end by choosing not to save the survivor. It's categorically different.

  • When they DC early in the game because the killer downed them for the first time.

  • Legion is trash. The only people who say he's "fun" are survivors who like an easy win. The deep wound is awful and it makes no sense that survivors can easily mend themselves as if they are all doctors. Get rid of deep wound and you have a killer who is actually playable beyond rank 20.

I mean if the gates are opened and you have one guy on hook, leaving him would be a dumb move. I understand the end game camping, but when someone camps the first guy they down while 5 gens are left, that's just sad.

The only exception is if you have the blood warden perk. In that case sometimes it's a good idea to rush over to one of the gates right after hooking someone to catch some survivors getting ready to leave and then hilariously pissing their pants when they find out they can't. I've gotten so many last minute sacrifices this way.

  • Class photo is pretty weak imo. It makes no sense to give up an easy chase unless you see a survivor right next to you who you can put into dream world while not losing sight of your other prey. It's not hard to wake up. Keeping multiple people in dream world is difficult if they know what they are doing. Two is the max you can juggle. Hang the one and then go chase the other before he has time to wake up.

The red paint brush is the ultimate Freddy add on. It reduces the dream transition by 2 points and tremendously reduces his terror radius. Basically you can't hide from him when you are in the dream world. Freddy can see you from anywhere. Lower ranks won't know what to do and even higher ranks will struggle against it. It's the ultimate in tunneling yes but the chases don't last long since the survivors are always easy to find.

3 people is easier to manage than 4. It seems like a smart tactic on the killers part. Not to mention that same guy is probably 1 hit from going down where as the other people need 2. I don't see the issue.

Exactly. As long as it's not costing too much time then it seems rather stupid to not go after the weaker prey. If a killer is targeting you, try to use one of your friends to bait him into a different chase. If the survivors work as a team it can counter almost anything the killer does.

  • While I do think that Freddy is better than a lot of people give him credit for (He's tiers better than Legion imo) and I do manage to get 4k on occasion with Freddy, I still think it takes a lot more management and strategizing that can easily get out of hand meanwhile you could be using another killer that can down survivors a lot easier withought taking 9 seconds to put each one into dream world. Although Blood Warden is an excelIent perk that has given me a lot of last minute kills and I do love when survivors jump into lockers right before I'm about to be put them into dream world.

Tip to survivors: if you hear freddy's lullaby don't jump into a locker! He could be standing right in front of you!

  • The only people who play using Legion are 1.) people who haven't played with him before and are just testing him out or 2.) People who are just messing around with no intent of winning. It takes no skill to win against legion now. A newbie could easily escape against him. If there is actually someone out there who can get 4k using legion then that takes real skill. Sorry but you have to play as both survivor and killer to get a complete perspective otherwise you sound kind of ridiculous. This isn't complaining about balance but rather just stating a fact that everyone who plays killer knows is true: Legion is trash. Don't kid yourself about "skill."

  • Legion - the most worthless killer of all. Cannot do anything with this dude.

Trapper - His traps are too obvious for survivors and unless you are really good at remembering where you placed the traps they can end up hurting the killer more than they hurt the survivors. For me he's just self defeating.

Nurse - She's too hard to get good at. I don't want to play a bunch of games with her trying to get good because it's too frustrating not to use her right.

  • Freddy's only viable strategy is to tunnel but doing that you'll only be able to sacrifice one or two players on average before the game is over. Freddy is OP when the survivor is in dream world but when they aren't he's literally worthless. The problem is you put a survivor into dream world and chase them until they are down which is easy since freddy can easily see where they are, so even if you lose them in chase it's easy to find them again BUT then you put them on the hook and they wake up, another survivor comes along and unhooks them and you can't do anything to stop it because you have to put them into dream world too and so the chase starts over again. By the time you sacrifice a player 2 Gens are left and the game is almost over.

  • Depends on what you would consider winning. In most games the killer kills on average 2 survivors. That's my average anyway and it seems to be the average of most games I play as a survivor. My odds of escaping the killer as a survivor are around 50%. The thing is though that most people who play killer tend to think that they "lose" if just one survivor escapes. Since killers tend to think that they need to kill all four to win that makes playing killer seem harder. Even though it's prpbably just as hard for all four survivors to escape as it is to kill all four.

  • Where are you guys when I'm playing? Most people I play against are teabagging douchbags which is why I'm not that nice. Although I finally got a nice comment from someone after a game today. I thought it was going to be another "u trash bro" comment which it usually is 95% of the time but this one actually gave me a friendly tip after the game. Wish more players were like that.

  • I kind of thought of this idea too when I thought of having a killer santa for christmas. I thought santa clause because it would be like a "surprise present" type of thing; a booby trap. Although I thought about having the generators explode (although I like your idea better.) Or maybe just have it where he can rig things that survivors would use like generators or chest or even the exit gate panels that explode stunning the survivor for a short period and alerting the killer. But he would be limited in the number of things he could have rigged at once.

  • Unfortunately this kind of thing happens way too often. I don't know what it is about people who like to play survivor but so many of them have absoluely no class. I thought Madden was toxic until I started playing this game. I get abusive messages just about every day playing this game even when they are the ones being jerks. It's really pathetic. I especially hate the time wasting. On the brightside, all of this just makes killing them so much more enjoyable. I keep a list of all the people who send me bad-talk. If I play them again I'm going to tunnel them and make extra sure they get hooked.

  • Yeah I just bought legion from the store and I'm struggling with him. It's so hard to down players. He's worst than Freddy. With Freedy I can at least tunnel well and sacrifice at least one or two players on average. With Legion I just haven't been able to do anything.

  • Cool. WHat would his special power be?

For Christmas they should do a killer santa. There have been numerous films with killer santas. His special power could be the ability to create "suprise gifts" like fake generators and fake chest that when used by a survivor explodes causing the survivor to be injured and stunned and their location temporaily exposed to the killer.

  • I honestly don't blame killers for quitting. When you play killer just about every groups of survivors are a bunch of a-holes who teabag and make the game go on unnecessarily long. If survivors had more class this would probably be less of an issue.

  • If you're asleep he can see you outside his terror radius. I've played a lot of survivors who sneak around when they are asleep and I'm thinking "Uh, you know I can see you right?" If you are asleep don't bother sneaking around. Run until you find something to wake you up. Freddy is actually one of the hardest killers to play as if you're goal is to kill everyone due to the fact that he can't hit a survivor without putting them to sleep first. Most times someone will survive. But If he decides to tunnel you, you're pretty screwed. Freddy is great at tunneling. Just hope he doesn't pick you as his "favorite." I got some pretty salty survivors when I did that. lol.

  • I play both killer and survivor. In my opinion on average it's much easier to escape as a survivor then it is to successfully kill all four players. Sometimes 2 gens will already be done before I even find anyone and when that happens I've pretty much already given up on killing everyone. The more out of hand the situation is the more likely I'll tunnel because I want to kill at least one so I at least get some satisfaction from the game. Survivors need to stop being so salty, it's ridiculous.
