  • Midwich is survivor sided because it is the only map when you can literally run in a staight line for ever without killer having chance to cut you of. Only Blight and Nurse actually feel good to play on this map, because Blight simply cuts down the 'hold w' part and goes straight for midgames and killer/surivor interaction while Nurse can go up and down floors without having to go around entire map to get to gen you can hear, but can't go to quickly.

  • I just smack the one I have the most of :)

  • I don't think there is a need for this poll as all three are relatively similiar and entire trio is highly skill based and ALWAYS fun to play against. I would say Oni needs to make the smartest decisions due to his power being on a timer while Blight just needs straight up experience to simply know which wall he can slide of and which he will bounce off.

  • @Seraphor Your argument is... weird at best? During 99% of the trials you will get hit and thus benefit from the IW if you have it, often randomly loosing killer at jungle gyms while your proposition just makes the survivor one-shotted all the time. IW is stronger, because you do initially have this first heatlth state, making for a regular chase at first and then having the benefit of making no sound what so ever. Later in game if you decide not to heal you steal have this benefit with the not wasted time needed to heal up. Good survivors don't really mind being injured anyway. I really don't see the point of your argument there xD.

  • As survivor I don't mind old ruin as hitting skillchecks is easy.

Old undying, I personally don't have anything against it, but people cry about it a lot so devs will never bring it back.

Old undying and noed is the best proof that no matter what killer has in their kit or how many anti totem things survivor can bring - survivor mains just won't cleanse dull totems.

  • She is exactly as she was before my dude. They only sped up her traps and ave visual indicator of their range (AFAIK).

Also... you don't chase as Hag... but that is something I would expect a "Hag Main" to know.

  • Okay, so you can use No Mither with other perks in your argument, but I can not? Okay, end of discussion. Don't use it if you don't want to. Bye.

  • @Apollos Plague counters EVERY healing perk or item, yet We'll make it or WGLFE are still higher tier perks. Instadown killers counter Dead Hard yet it's still top tier perk. That is really poor argument, pointing at one of 25 killers and one of 100 perks in game and saying that they counter this one specific perk so it's not valid... This is simply not smart reasoning.

  • If you don't know how to use any of the generic loop structures, run everywhere leaving scratchmarks and can't last more than 5 seconds in chase then yes - it is not a good perk.

If you play using brain though it is actually one of the better perks, because good killer rely on sounds as much as on visual queues (In jungle gyms and indoor maps even more) and so they have to track blood. No sounds and blood? You are invisible to Nurse and Spirit.

So yeah, you can't expect this perk to be buffed :).

Edit: Also noone prohibits you from using any of the items or exhaustion perks so yeah, stop crying.

  • @GoodBoyKaru I don't think you understand how strong lack of blood is or how much pressure the simple fact that you can't be slugged applies. Pair it with ds and iron will and it's the easiest win ever. Maybe Spine Chill for extra safety.

This perk is already overloaded and does not need buffs. Want points? Use WGLFE, another perk which after buff is broken.

  • It already removes blood and gives you unlimited unbreakable... No?

  • I will need to check if I did this or not. I do have trouble with time spent near killer without getting caught with Calm Spirit on though.

  • Breakable wall - 90% of times they are in the spots of old infinite loops so as killer you can just... remove an infinite loop. How can this be bad? There are also currently two walls I know about that if spawned with a certain window blocked create a death trap - so it's cool mechanic you should know about and think twice before actually breaking them.

As survivor - One time use, but super easy chase, because killer HAS to break the wall in most of the instances. OP? I don't think so... it's only for one chase unless killer doesn't break it for some reason.

Just because Scott says walls are bad doesn't mean you have to sheepishly repeat after him ;).

Edit: Oh and the best part... if you as a killer just happen to walk near one and see it's a strong one... you can... bear with me... break it while out of chase. Ironworks of Misery is best examplel. Top floor always has door and window which are strong. If as a killer you spawn there you just remove this loop completely. Oh no... so op...

  • Bumping up, because I added video and the Iron WIll is even stronger because of recent buffs.

  • @ElusivePukka I made a quick video for you, because Stridor no longer makes survivors make ANY sounds while using Iron Will.. https://youtu.be/i-Hs8C0FCys

  • @landromat Because Blight is literally the most fun killer after Billy. Literally removing the most boring part of holding w and being constant interaction in loop structures.

  • @TheGannMan grass being almost everywhere and moving when you walk through it and father's glasses, addond that lets her see blood.

  • @TheGannMan What about grass and glasses? xD

  • @Psycho_ Release Blight was dogcrap. And no, PinHead has nothing going for him, his power is just worse clown who can miss and it is bad.

  • @ControlldKarnage It's literally a thing devs added inentionally... because survivors don't have it ease enough. Same goes for messing up pallet stun save, it just heals you back up.

@Tricksters_Wife And that's why killers do camp, because it works. Not saying it's bad or good... just that it works because people refuse to do gens.

  • @ElusivePukka So how would you call this?

"Say something worthy of merit, and try to keep your hypocrisy to a minimum."

  • @ElusivePukka Before you try to take a moral high ground at least know the definitions before trying to argue. Kiddo :).

  • @ElusivePukka I like how you state that you know the term, call me kiddo and then deny existance of the thing I gave you exact definition of. Very mature and constructive discussion.

  • If you see a hacker, just start recording (seriously, recording software is free and very common, Streamlabs OBS for example) and then make sure to get exact link to the steam profile. Banned everytime.

  • Putting in MMR took them years. Do you think implementing this kind of system is anywhere near realistic? :)

There is no motivation to run sweaty perks other than winning and later on going against more sweaty opponents yourself. It's not game issue, there is no reward for being high in the ranks (you can rank up grades while loosing mmr, so don't try to bs about it). People want to sweat for the sake of it and you will not change it. Sad, but true.

  • @MadLordJack If person is not stupid, aura reading is more than enough to coordinate. Not everyone is smart, I agree with that, but you can't balance around people who don't use tools already given to them.

@Dhurl421 And that's why killers camp, because it works.

  • @Terrortot Oh noo... so survivor will just keep running and hold the box hostage. Sooo scaryyyyy. Especialy with Spine Chill xD

  • Me and other people already made countless topics about it... :(.

It's good that devs buffed Trickster, he needed it... but it's sad that the buffs went into completely opposite direction everyone who plays the game for some time suggested.

He didn't need to be stronger during chases, he was decent enough. He needs map pressure. How to easily fix him:

Make knives never fade away, instead make it possible to be mended away. This way Trickster's time and knives are not wasted when he decided to switch targets or after long range throwing (he pretty much has to tunnel now, because all the knives will simply go away when switching targers). Survivors now have interesting choice: Rush the objective, but stay more vulnerable or mend themself to be safer, but pause doing objective for couple of seconds. It's not deep wound, they won't go down if not mended.

Boom, it's that simple. Also I would like him to be able to store main event like Oni can, at the cost of it taking twice as long to build up and not get removed when M1ing.

  • @Psycho_ It's like saying, you don't cloak and uncloak as Wraith on pallet loops, you just sneak on the people and chase them with M1. Yes... you can just refuse to use your power when others do... but does it make sense?

You don't use Pig's ambush in small pallet loops, it's just used to sneak up on survivors.

You don't 99% T3 as Myers to activate it at best possible moment, you just stalk, pop it and chase.

You don't try to curve around loops or building as Billy, Chainsaw is just used for mobility and backrubs.

Do you want me to continue?

  • Spine Chill. Once you face stealth killer with it on you won't ever go back.

Decisive - people assume noone runs it after the nerf and tunnel like crazy, let them have a surprise

Flashbang - just fun, especially after you learn the timing

Small Game OR Counterforce with map - so you don't get to cry about noed like 99% of survivors :)

  • PinHead running Hoarder is not even this good xD. Stop sheepishly repeating after streamers. Oh no... I picked up box... he now has general idea of where I was... sooo scaaaaryyyy. Use Spine Chill if you are so scared.

I did miss frosty eyes on Slinger though. Sad :(

  • @DeanIcity @Psycho_ Doctor is way, way better than PinHead and way easier to play. His power is simple, quite easy to get consitent with the rihgt timing and very rewarding when used correctly and combined with the right mindgame. Example: Shocking them slightly too late so they still drop the shack pallet, just barely, while vaulting the window so they can't vault back on the other side of the pallet due to shock that actually hit.

PinHead is just clown with power which is actually hard to aim and slows himself down. Chain Hunt is good... but with survivors understanding the game you will not have it active ever. They will either hold the box hostage or solve it when you are hooking/zoning.

The only thing PinHead can do is easily scout upper floors like Midwich and guarante hits on very short loops... which you can just brute force or mindgame anyway as 115% killer. Chains just break too easily and survivors just hold m1 to autobreak them... Hell, they don't even cause interrupted skillcheck to blow up xD.

  • @MadLordJack All it takes is Kindred.

@ElusivePukka Genrush is literally focusing on gens and nothing else, letting teammates die ect. Which is a good thing when killer just facecamps. Know your terms, buddy.

  • @Bluebird Also perks that make loud noise notifications like discordance and zombie detection range addons. They do react to the perks.

  • @Bluebird Use your tentacle ONLY when they are locked in animations, boom the whole philosophy.

  • Honestly, I quite often DC as killer when RPD launches... and I got multiple positive comments on my profile for this, survivors being thankful.

Map is the bomb when it comes to looks and theme... but it's awful to play on.

  • Don't like tunneling? Use ds... or kindred... or don't be a douche in games - it really lowers the chances of being tunneled.

  • Ok... this is THE POST. I could pick thing or two I would phrase differently... but this is what every 'pro survivor' who is trash in reality needs to hear.

Edit: Okay what the hell, guy who made this post is banned from forums? No wonder there is less and less amount of actually informative, good quality posts...

Edit2: I can sum this up in one sentence. Run Kindred and do gens.

  • @Aurelle While I do understand where you are coming from, I personally give every perk, addon and quirk a shot couple of times just to see for myself if it's really that trash... and to be honest, couple of times I discovered really fun to play non meta thing. But yeah, if you haven't try it before there is even less reasons now that IW is even more broken than it used to be.

  • @VikingWilson

    ?

All the events, log in rewards, challanges, dailies, WGLFE, BBQ, double points offerings... What the ######### do you need more points for?!

  • So you want to ONLY play against Spirit/Nurse or small pp build survivors?

  • He doesn't need any rewords other than either removing hindered after contamination or making it noticeable.

  • If as a survivor you dc, the only person who you are helping is the killer, other 3 survivors hate you.

Oh he tunnels and camps, better dc.

Congratulations, you just made a camper win instead of equipping Kindred and watch him get genrushed.

  • @ad19970 While I in general agree that being injured is not best idea in dead zones... you go repair different gens xD. The only times when good survivors do bother to heal is when they don't have Spine Chill and it's stealth killer or it's end game and someone needs to take a hit.

  • @Fobbo It may surprise you, but decent amount of players used it on other killers to, mainly to counter IW - and it is a huge difference to hear anything and barely something in the jungle gym. But yes, Spirit was like the go to killer for Stridor, I kind of agree.

  • Pick up anmation - 3 seconds

Time it takes flashlight to blind - 1 second

Time it takes flashbang to explode - 2 seconds

Survivor throws it slightly in front of themselves, keep it in mind - it can be used to save people when Killer is literally facing a wall, just glitching into their model, facing and running into the wall as well and dropping it at the perfect timining.

It's easier to drop the flashbang as they are about to come from around the corner though. Hope it helps.

  • Lmao, why should your meter reset?

  • @Hippie Many people try advocating for this kind of changes for years, my dude xD

  • What a bait xD. He is literally the worst killer in the current roster. Even clown is better and can't have his power held hostage.

  • Gift of Pain (currently the only Scourge Hook perk) is really not strong and needs any kinds of buff.

    1. It makes healing take longer...
    2. Gives a an action speed penalty after being healed until injured again...

Good survivors don't care if they are injured or not... and will actually run resilence quite often. They won't heal, so no time wasted with healing penalty... and since they are not healed they don't suffer the action penalty (which only applies to repairing and healing and can be removed so easily - with just getting hit again).

How to make the perk useful:

    1. It applies the action speed penalty IMMEDIATELY
    2. This penalty cannot be removed by any means, applies to every action with progress bar (doors, healing, totems, lament configuration ect.), stacks, but starts on lower number - 3,5%/4%/4,5% so when hooked twice on Scourge Hooks it reaches the current 7/8/9% debuff
    3. This is optional, but I think it fits the theme and will give survivors a choice (get healed for smaller penalty, but waste time now or rush the action while they still can) - Penalty is doubled if survivor is injured (as the killer theme revolvs around pain)

Edit: Your suggestion is a good one to and I think Monstrous Shrine should become an Scourge Hook perk as well, with 4 hooks applying some penalty while basement hooks have it doubled. The penalty must be big enough to shave off one unhook attempt (current MS does not do this... even though it's description suggests it should).
