  • @Adjatha Oh I think I misphrased it. I meant to apply both MS to basement hooks AND 4 other random hooks (like Scourge Hook perks do).

  • Bumping up, cause I really think it is a great chance to actually do something with Monstrous Shrine

  • I like that one guy who selected that it just looks better xD. Common argument of people who use it and need any kind of justification. It doesn't look better, especially on recordings. Just admit you want any advantage you can have.

  • People who don't play both sides shouldn't really be considered in any kind of balance changes.

Yeah sure, X feels to play unfair against and stuff... but just because it feels this way doesn't mean it is... You know what is the best way to defeat something? Start doing this something - Starcraft tought me this... Holy crap ZvP is so easy and inba... jokes on me, it's super hard to pull off and now I know how both sides work...

@Aradia5589 Just start playing and don't care about people opinions. Watch Otzdarva's any guide and you will have lots of basics. Wraith is propably your best bet to start with (Must have sloppy butcher though), maybe Trapper.

  • If you are in position to hit someone with speed limiter without iridescent flesh you are in position to instadown someone without speed limiter.

Yes at times you can hit them by using multiple charges, but speed limiter simply removes any value out of this (yes, even iridescent flesh doesn't make it even decent against people who know what it does... and against people who play it for the first 2 hours every killer is op, even clown or pinhead).

Also old bubba can camp for ever :).

Edit: Result of this poll is sad and either shows that people don't really read what they are voting in favour of OR that people on forums are just the lower spectrum of players OR that people in general don't really know how to play the game.

  • He is really, really bad. Animations are cool, concept and mechanics are cool. His perks are cool as they tackle a new thing (every single one of them). Problem is... numbers are just too low and survivors can just hold m1 to start breaking chains immediately... and this guy can break his own chains... Just fix him like you have fixed Blight and it's all ok.

  • @RoboMojo Camping is always encouraged when survivors are showing themselves not doing gens. Eliminating someone asap is the best strategy and if killers want to camp in spite of someone, they will, no matter the penalties.

9% is really not that great and I think it would be ok. Actually, it might be interesting counterplay to efficient players who keep doing gens and try saving at the last possible second (usually swf).

Or maybe the 4 scourge hooks only have faster Entity progression, while Basement hooks have both Entity progress bonus and unhooking penalties (accordingly stronger).

  • Bumping up, cause I really think it is a great chance to actually do something with Monstrous Shrine

  • None, FNaF sucks. If anything, poltergeist fits the most I guess

  • @Trickstaaaaa Only survivors who heard about it or play long even attempt it, so if you don't go a little bit higher in ranks (now elo) as killer you don't have to worry about anything :)

  • @OniWantsUrLocation You advice me to rely on sounds in game where every patch has high chance of messing them up? Audio oclussion, slug bug, iron will without iron will... I mean, yes, if you do hear it, then you know they are doing it, but you can't rely on sounds. Sadly.

Just spam spacebar and in the meantime click M1 once when this happens - literally costs nothing and will give you free grab or hit more often than you think.

  • I don't really care about the trolling aspect, but you have to admit that it's unfair to be able to just appear as not brining in any items, just to last second switch with entire squad into 20+ seconds flashlights. Especially with double lockers and hit validation.

What's the point of me seeing the survivors if it effectively gives me nothing, cause I can prepare all I want based on what I see just for them to switch at the very last second.

  • @Sackboy123 If you switch as survivor you can switch to survivor with specific build, item with already equipped addons and offering by just clicking one button literally one second before lock (which happens at 5second before game starts). Seriously, do I really have to explain this?

And killers are not able to change once they are in lobby...

  • @ExcelSword That's only cause they play Myers wrong. Sure there are some bs map layouts, but it literally takes seconds to get out of T1. By this logic you can say that Spirit is useless cause after using her power she can't do anything for 15 seconds and 110%ms killers are easily looped. Technically true, but no good Spirit uses her entire bar, they just do 2-4 seconds burst which is recharged in seconds.

  • It takes couple of seconds to get out of T1. If not, you're playing him wrong.

Tip: Don't try to stalk from a distance, grab or hit, walk over to them to a lungde distance and stalk for literally couple of seconds, cause the closer you are the shorter it takes... Fixed...

  • I just hope it's not fnaf... I think I'm only person who sees entire fnaf thing as unfunny joke

  • Twins release fiasco.

In my opinion breakable walls are fine. Oh this map no longer has an infinite if you spend 2 seconds breaking wall. Like... how can you be mad at this? You really would prefer to have the infinites back before breakable walls update?

  • I do think this is a fair request. All it takes for someone to deny the achievement is go to the locker... and this achievement isn't easy to get even without it (At least against non brown survivors).

  • How can it be easily fixed? Cause speeding up the EGC when someone is still inside is... you know... kind of not fair for the last guy still in chase...

Be thankful EGC is a thing, it was not the case for majority of the time the game is out, just saying.

  • @Gunkpump Yeah, keep crying xD. Shrine of Secrets is totally not a thing and people pressing control is the biggest issue humanity has. Do you really not see how silly you look? Just hitting them to force them out is too hard too I guess... Or going to make dinner while rest of ECG is running out. You really do seem like someone who likes to find problems when there are none.

Meanwhile hit validation keeps saving people even if they don't time dead hards, pallet saves or hook saves right... Perks like Iron Will still are badly coded to give unintentional value, sound obstruction is a thing on every map with even 1inch of terrain rise, ubreakable ds soulguard combo is a thing not to mention lucky break or keys being very fair. Spirit and Slinger are very fun to go against as well... No, out of all things that actually do impact the gameplay negatively, you have to whine about people pressing ctrl button which does nothing for anyone... How old are you, again?

  • Use bloodwarden then... stop crying and use tool devs gave you.

Same for survivors... if you hate noed, there are like 5 anti totem perks, if you hate camping or tunneling there is like 10 perks against just that.

    Stop crying, people.

  • You have a perk for exactly this, that's one.

You have like 5 anti tunnel/camp perks, that's two.

As mentioned above it was already tested and wasn't a good idea, that's three.

If killer camps you can just do gens for free and leave him with one hook. Don't like someone's playstyle - punish it. The absolutely worst you can do is tbag him. Oh hi, I see you doing nothing, yes, yes that's awesome, you're next <3, that's four.

If someone wants to camp they will.

  • @seraphor I assure you that good killers rely on sounds more than on visual things for majority of the trial (loops). Just google Scott Jund Iron Will, I can't explain crap like he can.

  • @SkeletalElite I don't recall a single post or itnerview adressing IronWill so we can't say that it's for sure working as intended or not. It just looks like lazy 1/0 coding as it is now.

  • @SkeletalElite I dunno mate, they aren't too fast when it comes to changing broken survivors perks. It still does make no sense, just like old DS did, so maybe they will look into it. There is nothing more boring than playing with small pp + iron will survivors (as both sides actually)

  • @xEa Been preaching exactly this for 4 years now...

  • Well the problem is with people. This is not competetive game, but they try treating it as such. It's fun, random arcade game meant to be played for fun. Hecc, the very same map can have 6 or 15 pallets... there is just no point in sweating as survivor cause it's guaranteed win xD. So very boring for me, but hit validation makes killer stresfull. Oh survivors made a mistake and didn't time hook or pallet save well? Doesn't matter, killer still don't get grab or hit... I think I'll just go play some Warframe, honestly.

  • Nemesis is very weak, just because you don't know how to hold w doesn't mean he is strong. Killer who literally needs 3 hits to down you is trash killer. Zombies are fun, add the ######### funny moment value.

  • @FFirebrandd In my change they wouldn't have it, it's an option to either play safe or riskier. Well okay, ranged bubba, loops with short walls are instant death, while he is useless on maps with tall ones. For me it's not healthy, but it's an opinion.

  • I like that devs adressed Trickster, he needed a buff... but they focused on the wrong things. Trickster is decent at downing survivors, the laceration decaying is his problem. Scott adressed it way better than I can: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AixNUYxSyKE

My fix to Trickster is very simple, doesn't make him op or annyoing in chases and gives him at least SOME map pressure:

Set laceration back to 8. Laceration does not decay on it's own, survivor can instead mend entire laceration (2 seconds base time + 1 second per knife on survivor), choosing to waste time but not be downable fast or just rushing a gen, but risking. It's not deep wound, survivor does not go down if they don't mend!

The main problem with his power is fact that he needs to tunnel or it's just wasted time putting knives in people. With my fix you can switch targets without feeling that you wasted time, very simple and will prevent situation when laceration decreases during loops (which current fix only makes even more annoying). Survivor can try mending during chase, but it's a risk.

Also the main event... it should just be able to being activated once the bar is filled and should stay this way, like Oni's power. It already has long animation to start, to end and you can't throw knives after it ends... Come on bhvr, Awesome that you adress weaker killers, but please listen to people who actually know how the game works, what makes killer strong, weak, fun and unfun to play as or against.
