Imagine in Halloween if Laurie teabagged Michael after she stabbed him with the coat hanger. Imagine in Nightmare on Elm Street if Nancy had dropped 10 pallets on Freddy in a 5 minute chase. Imagine if in Fthe13th Tommy Jarvis just DC'ed.

Lol. I've had killers that only get me because they face camp the entire game. Wastes so much time

Same. Horror game or not killers will always find an excuse to face camp.

  • They seriously need to address something soon cause all this nonsense is gonna come back to bite them.

Nice assumption. But I made my BA already, so stop spitting nonsense like that, thx.

Maybe you should make up your mind, this is an international forum and I am from Germany, if we (Germans) talk about "school", we talk about kids and teenager.

Take a "peek over the edge of the plate". (Germany saying for thinking outside the box/outside your own small world)

Lmao no you don’t. When I say context of school in “years” for example year 10, then you’re talking about younger school. Since I said school you should assume it’s in general. Stop thinking everyone lives in Germany. Like I said, shows where you peaked.

  • @Wolf74 said:

When school is over, more people will play a horror game.^^

Nice logic. Maybe we can see the issue with the toxic community here.

Maybe those are not manbabies… but real kiddos. XD

How are you putting students and toxic together in one? Better yet, I like how you assume I’m talking about high school and below when “school” encompasses college/universities as well. Kinda shows me where you peaked though lmao

  • Hopefully it’s just a weekday thing that isn’t letting people play as much as others. When school is over for the week and people have a weekend off we should see a rise....

  • @PhantomMask20763 said:

Even I will admit, the game is in rough shape. When I play killer the gens get done very quickly no matter how good I play and when I play survivor I get infinite loading screens, dcing teammates, and tunneling/camping killers. Something is definently up

The “gens get done very quickly no matter how good you play”? Since the update I have had 2 games where all the gens get done, at Rank 1. Everyone else has died or DC’d. It’s been easier then EVER to be a killer, especially with this broken MM system.

  • They’re slowly trying to introduce pallets that won’t have the same integrity. Such as, pallets that automatically break after being vaulted one too many times...

  • @GrootDude said:

    I don’t have much problem as solo.🤷🏼‍♂️ That’s just me I guess.

What do you mean though, by “much problem” cause I know it’s been hecka frustrating for me dying on my first hook a lot cause of potato teammates not trying to save (kindred or not).

  • Try looking at a trend in this link, come up with the best conclusion yourself. I suggest EVERYONE take a look at this.

    https://steamcharts.com/app/381210

  • I haven’t had issues with this new ranking. At least not like everyone else seems to be. Even got a few killer games with 4 iridescent.

Word. I’m playing the EXACT same way as I’ve always played. I don’t camp, I don’t tunnel, sometimes I don’t even use BBQ. I’ve managed to pip every game and double pip on at least 75% of them. It seems to mostly affect campers and tunnelers.

  • @boss here’s the “more proof” you were curious about. By the looks of it nobody is liking it, especially newbie survivors.

  • @George_Soros said:

Maybe it's time you realize: Iridescents are there for a little extra BP injection. You just gotta buy Freddy. He's worth it :)

What? You can’t buy licensed characters with shards.

  • I keep hearing and seeing (YouTube) of survivors DC’ing on her about the same rate as Legion. It’s usually cause of the “annoyed” factor that survivors feel when playing against this type of killer.

  • I’m too late to *que the sweaty killers*

  • I’ve seen 1 DS user in the last 17-18 games or so. They never got a chance to use it...

  • I haven’t played against her yet, but I saw a video of someone playing as her and bodyblocking a healthy survivor on the basement stairs. She then proceeded to make the healthy survivor sick (which could not push her out of the way on the stairs) and then knocking the survivor down.

edit to add *basement stairs* in case someone got confused lol

Maybe you can, after a few generators get done meanwhile.

Does that mean you hate Legion then?

  • Mostly killer mains complaining about something that isn’t even confirmed yet. Lobbying one would say.

  • It’s only really affecting solo players. On the other hand, SWF are getting more benefit out of some of these such as Prove Thyself buff, Jane’s new survivor healing perk, etc.

Killers are seeing more balance on their end too. But like I said, it’s really solo players who are getting screwed the most.

I never comment on goofy threads such as this, but couldn't help doing so this time around.

You added information from 1.0 that you clearly jumped on without continuing to investigate the integrity of the information you presented. Clearly debunked courtesy of @PureHostility and you never responded. Most everyone ignores facts others present when it derails their argument, which they felt so strongly supported by the information they see is no longer true.

And you continue to say "Noed is still a crutch"

So your thread resumes to be just another unsupported troll on a perk.

"Doesn't change the point of my post" . . . The point being to add another pointless troll thread? Anything more and you clearly missed the mark.

    change my mind

    What a joke.

I didn’t respond because the thread got consistently defensive with killer mains defending their last crutch. As far as it goes, NOED is still a crutch wether you believe so or not, facts from fiction if you don’t like it go back to killermain land where you belong.

  • @Kaelum said:

On not_QUEEN’s live personal stream, she briefly stated that the devs think that we would rather be matched with anyone, anywhere in the world (and Saturn), and of any rank, over waiting for a match with a local killer (latency < 150ms) and closer to our ranks. This is exactly how the new matchmaking system works, and how it can ensure that you get a lobby within 4-5 minutes.

However, it doesn’t take into account that people will dodge the lobby once they see the latency is > 150ms. Nore does it care if a rank 20 killer is matched with nothing but red ranked survivors. I’m playing other games more and more, especially when this new system is live. It takes all the fun out of the game, and just wastes what little time I have to play.

This is literally only beneficial if you’re a vet killer or a SWF squad though. The person who messaged me clearly doesn’t play much survivor, and to be put up against a killer like me? Very discouraging to continue playing don’t you think?

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/369596#Comment_369596

So what's DS then? You got downed so you get a free stun. Why's that ok? Since we're throwing around assumptions.

You have done nothing but put words in my mouth cuz you apparently are completely illiterate and don't want to admit you're just bad at DBD. DO THE TOTEMS. It's literally that simple. If you see NOED proc, get the hell out or break the totem and THEN attempt to save. I don't use NOED, and I unlike you I have 100% the game. The only time I've used it was during rough patches, learning a killer, or if I just don't have anything else. None of my killer loadouts have NOED.

However, as a survivor I don't get hit with NOED. Wanna know why? Cuz I ran Small Game for about about two weeks, and memorized what tiles they can spawn on, and I actively seek them out and count them. It's why when I play SWF and they ######### about me not doing gens, they quickly change their tune when they see NOED in the end-game screen that didn't affect them. Not to mention I can see their spawns as killer and remember them. See, if you actually played both sides you'd realize these things.

Keep making assumptions because you're making poor choices. I'm going to continue not getting hit with NOED. Not once did I say it wasn't a crutch, not once did I say it's a necessary perk. I've shown 0 bias, you just don't like hearing the truth.

I’m gonna stop you at where you say I’m bad at DBD cause you clearly play this game in imaginary land where you have all the time to find and break totems while someone else is getting chased and hooked, the other person trying to save and one person trying their best to work through Ruin. Yeah right.

  • @Chrona said:

I didn't screenshot it or anything, but I distinctly remember less than a week ago, me and 3 friends were just casually playing...and we were just really, really winning this one.

No hooks, heck, no downs even. I think our spread at the time was something like 4, 5, 10, 14. VS a rank 20, level 1 killer (survivor main trying to do a killer daily).

    More than a little unfair.

I’ve got tons of proof in my new post that it’s something probably a bit more concerning though

  • @Caretaker said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/369588#Comment_369588

You won't admit you're bad at a video game, do you think your petty remarks bother me? You KNOW how to stop NOED. You KNOW games go insanely fast so it's not like you can't waste a bit of time to find totems and break them. YOU failed to stop NOED. YOU ran back in despite the game telling you, "Hey idiots, he has NOED. Gtfo."

I’m bad cause it’s my fault the killer relies on a crutch perk, okay. It’s not like the killer did a terrible job or anything right? You’re defending a broken cause that ceases to provide any concrete evidence for the need to have a one shot perk as shallow as nOeD. I can only conclude you clearly are a nOeD crutch yourself you seem to deliberately provide bias examples of how it’s somehow a necessary mechanic which clearly is not, merely a “here’s a another try since you failed to do a killer’s job in this game” handed to you by the devs.

  • @Caretaker said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/369581#Comment_369581

You are being punished. There are games and map tiles where a killer will simply lose, or not have a single person dead by the end-game. That's where NOED kicks in. Also, NOED doesn't always just spawn nearby, and hardly anyone runs Agi or IG so unlikely that they're gonna just risk the drop to sit near the totem. Also, if you go back in and die to NOED, that's on you. You are an idiot. Plain and simple.

Only you can turn a 0k into a 4k, and it's all your fault. Also, if we're talking crutches, let's talk exhaust perks, DS, Adren, etc.

If NOED was built in, then yes you would be punished. (But since it’s a CRUTCH perk and you won’t admit it) It’s not true at all.

    ”only you can turn a 0k into a 4K” - Only nOeD can turn a 0k into a 4k, with that logic.

  • @Caretaker said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/369573#Comment_369573

So, you didn't do totems. Randoms didn't do totems, and you got punished for not doing it? I don't see the problem here. Someone literally told you how to stop it, you didn't do it, your team didn't do it, and it's unfair cuz you didn't do it? Despite being clearly told how to prevent it and you can just blow it up end-game after it lights up?

You’re seeing it as survivors being punished for not doing totems. Where I’m seeing it as Killer gets rewarded for not doing their main objective. See what’s happening here?

Also, “just blow it up in the end-game” is easier said than done. Smart killers, especially at red ranks, will hook a survivor as close to nOeD as possible to prevent it from breaking, this relying on the crutch.

  • @Caretaker I have lost more games due to NOED than I’ve ever lost to DS. Not to say DS wasn’t overpowered, but game changing wise, NOED has always been much more of a pain. Simply because you cannot do anything once you’re on that hook and NOED is active except hope a random doesn’t farm you or at least has BT.

I've had a similar match before as well. I was playing Legion and when the match ended I saw their ranks. It was a bloodbath. 4 man 5 gens, 4 yellow ranked survivors vs a p3 lvl 50 rank 1 Legion. I felt so bad

I didn’t go easy on this team at all. I, under the impression of a better matchmaking system, assumed they were my rank. Not one gen was finished.

  • Freddy is a beast in the right hands. Except, when you have to pick someone up at the exit gates and the SWF squad keeps healing them until they can crawl out, then Freddy is powerless.

  • @Bravo0413 said:

Dont even start a crusade against killers cuz matchmaking messed up with you and ya got paired with lower ranked survivors......... SWF trumps all.... a player being rank 16 can invite 3 players that are in red .....m and stop crying about the "nerfs" to survs when they were much needed and they didn't really fix anything about the game..

First of all, don’t ever think you can tell me what to do. Second of all, I can clearly see which side you play dominateley. You’re unequivocal killer mentality is not welcome in with such bias. You are not worthy of a serious response, you’re merely another troll on here to ignore.

  • @orion Don’t see many killers who get put into high rank survivor lobbies. When I stayed in green ranks I RARELY got a purple or Red Rank survivor unless it was SWF. Side effect of too many survivor nerfs??

  • Noed is still a crutch, doesn’t change the point of my post.

Nah just jk, this is killer main territory, you know that?

Yeah I knew I’d get all the crutch, noed-reliant yellow rank killers in here.

  • i play killer & survivor 55 killer/ 45 survivor. The instadowns should be limited to the the tier of the perk.

  • To the crutch people who use it yeah maybe. To everyone else who doesn’t really need it, not so much.

  • On top of the quitter bonus, if a killer is able to kill the other players (which they most likely will considering the advantage) they get the extra 2500 No One Escapes Death points too.

  • To easy? Is this bait? You don’t loop?? What rank do you play at? So many questions. Yeah this is bait.

  • Damn killer mains are going after Adrenaline now?? This game is gonna die lol

  • the gap is only getting wider, playing solo survivor will soon been extinct. I’m sure the devs want this game to be SWF Vs Killer bases anyways.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/366875#Comment_366875

Sorry, but it is completely reversed.

NOED requires the trial to reach the end game AND have at least 1 dull totem on the map.

Adrenaline - you could just creep around the perimeter of the map the entire trial while the other 3 get the 5 gens done, and WHOOPEE, you get your speed boost (and heal if injured)

So, you assume that strategy would work? You must be new. Go search for a post about “generator efficiency” in the que. it will explain why that strategy would be completely ridiculous. And again, NOED is given, Adrenaline is earned.

  • No, but I’ve had Nurses DC on me when the map randomly lands on Lerry’s.

  • @tehshadowman33 said:

But seriously. If you use Adrenaline, don't ######### that I run NOED.

Both ONLY see play during the end game

How are you comparing the two?? Adrenaline is earned, NOED is given.

  • Looping is a survival strategy, if someone tells you otherwise they’re clearly getting their feelings hurt or don’t play much out of Killer territory.

  • https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/659/7LQ0TPBI81HK.png If this is supposed to be the new matchmaking then imma just be a full on killer main, Because if these are the teammates that i am going to be playing with, then i don't think there is any reason to keep playing survivor.

tbh I’ve been playing WAY more killer than survivor cause of stuff like this. Solo survivors have it he’d enough as it is with all these nerfs, then you get matched up with peeps like this? No thanks. I get more bp as Killer anyway.

  • Every. single. thread.

Omg this OP is completely true 😂

  • Only the fog modifiers for killers should be changed to all lessening the fog. The rest are okay.

  • @βLAKE said:

This is what I ran in the high ranks when using the clown: Ruin, NOED, Spirit Fury and Enduring. I went on a merciless killer streak for 8 consecutive matches at Ranks 2 & 1

I’m curious how many of those were because of NOED?

  • I would trade Coulrophobia for Monitor and Abuse. Coulrophobia is really only good on small maps or when in combo with Distressing.
