Endlessly vaulting windows as Legion to flex on survivors who can't endlessly vault windows even though that's their thing
-
It's especially annoying when they then start calling the killer camper even though they are the ones who brought the killer back
-
Because the clock is always ticking and we have to make the most of the time we have
memento mori unus annus
-
Truthreetaoneent
-
Legion for one is a lot better than people give them credit that's true
People who say they are the weakest killer are just straight up dilusional
I do want to note that Otz having a gazilion hours matters
A professional basketball player might be able to make a 100 long shots in a row. Doesn't mean it's easy
-
... I like David but sometimes i can't help but wonder if it wouldn't be better for humanity if he was deleted out of existence
We clearly can't handle it
-
I think we would sooner have world peace then everybody getting along in this game
-
I feel like all the exhaustion perks could use to have more exhaustion tbh
40 seconds is bassicly nothing and it instantly refreshes on hooks too which i can sort of understand cause campers but still
these effects wouldn't be so bad if they weren't active every single chase
-
This perk was created on the basis of people complaining that they couldn't find generators on indoor maps
I think it's decent . It's good for survivors that are still learning maps
Too bad these training wheel perks have such a bad reputation tbh. A lot of survivors is see could benifit from things like this or windows of oppertunity
But alas equiping it is admitting your still learning and that's taboo for most players. No matter how much they need it
-
Huntress will be next cause her addons need an update
Still needs her second iri
-
Just having more in the map would help a ton too. Having to go collect them wouldn't be such a big deal if you didn't need to travel halfway across the map for one

Maybe. But we had the same discussion with Legion 1.0 so i dont trust you.
What? Are you sure you're not mixing me with someone else?
Don't remember having a discusion about Legion 1.0

There is still a problem you dont see, but it does not remove the problem.
Some people wanting to see a problem doesn't nececary mean there is one

Crabwalk to the gen and don't bother with stalking. Just take the free hit

If winning is that important to someone that they'll purposefully ruin someone's game just so they can have an easy advantage, that's really scummy. I used to bring party streamers and the anniversary cakes but now I feel like I'm supporting their crappy ways so I just bring bloodpoint offerings for myself or other survivors.
Welcome to online gaming i guess
You'll learn to deal with it
-
"I'm complaining about nothing here" is the real take-away of this video
Is it really that bad that we have some killers who are in control of the chase. Especially if the no counterplay argument only really aplies when they play absolutly perfectly
You don't need to last minutes against a deathslinger. Getting outplayed once as him is a horrible drop on momentum.
A 40 second chase as Billy is not that bad. A 40 second chase as slinger is a disaster
-
Other way around would be nicer
That it becomes a hex the moment you get 5 stacks, you'll always get some value but it can still get removed
Against inexperienced survivors the game straight up ends when you reach 5 stacks. No need to make this the new old ruin
-
Deathslinger has a bit the same problem as the nurse
A strong chase that when played perfectly is very opressive
People often forget though that nobody can play perfectly
Just look at the replies you get when you suggest counterplay to deathslinger "that only works on deathslingers that are bad and miss"
I hope slinger doesn't end up like the nurse who is supposedly "the strongest killer in the game" but you never see her
-
From what i heard the devs have already tried this in their own test build and it was obvious to them it was too powerfull
They did say that they might look into making it regress to the nearest red light (so 25/50/75%) but don't quote me on that
-
Prethrow pallets against slinger, he can't deal with pallets that are down
I know it hurts the " wasted pallet" mentality but he is forced to break it
And when i mean prethrow i mean throw them down before he even shows up
A standing pallet means you have to travel that split second longer through a funnel where you are easy to shoot
A downed pallet is complete safety if you get the prompt

Except they don't add up. You don't get a 40% chance on 2nd hook for example.
What i showed was the procent chance in total.
You know if you do things multiple times you have more chance of succeeding right?
-
3 tries of 4% means you have ~11,5% to get off
3 tries of 20% is roughly 49%
Do we really want survivors to unhook themself 50% of the time, people would just always try it and then suicide if they didn't get lucky
Simply a horrible idea

Your counters require the DS player to make a mistake. If a DS always shoots or always fakes, then he's not playing well
And if they are playing well, shouldn't they be rewarded for it?
-
Predrop the pallet and he is forced to break in most circumstances. And you need to be ready to call any bluffs.
A lot of deathslingers will either always shoot or always bluff. If you notice he raises his gun to just get you to dodge and lose distance you call the bluff and keep going.
On a lot of loops the time you can shoot a survivor is like a split second. Knowing that split second as a survivor let's you dodge preemtivaly
I likefacing deathslingers cause how different you need to play against them. If you play against Deathslinger like you play against other killers then the problem lies with you

Beast of Prey:
Grants the Undetectable Status Effect after gaining Bloodlust Tier I. The Status Effect is removed once you lose Bloodlust. Bloodlust last 10 seconds longer outside of chase
Gain 30/40/50% more Bloodpoints for actions in the Hunter Category
No Mither
You are affected by the Broken Status Effect for the duration of the Trial. Your thick blood coagulates practically instantly. You do not leave Pools of Blood . You make no grunts of pain caused by injuries. Grants the ability to fully recover from the Dying State
Protection hits apply deep wounds instead of downing you with a cooldown of 120/90/60 sec
-
Have you concidert the idea that you just don't like the game?
Barbie's Grand Adventure can have the best DLC in the world and i would find it boring
-
It's not really that Botany Knowledge is a bad perk, it's just that the current meta perks are that much better.
There are a lot of survivor perks that are actually pretty good but they get completly overshadowed by the best perks.
A sword is a pretty good weapon, but why pick a sword when a gun is a option

Distortion is all but useless. Walk near a dull totem and you lose a charge. It will be gone before the first gen.
@Azgard12 It works with HG. Break HG, it triggers, and you get a new HG. Same with DH, Ruin, NOED, etc. It is an extremely OP perk when you add in 6 seconds of aura sight to it. Just come within 2 meters and I can see you aura. This is pure stupidity. I like a challenge as a killer, but I don't want to face constant SWF because the devs just keep making it harder for solo que survivors. Pure stupidity.
I do want a protection perk for totems, but not one like this. Give us a Dark Intervention-type perk that locks totems for 180 seconds or maybe even locks totems during ever hook and for 10 seconds afterwards. How about one that earns charges for every hit the killer gets. Each charge adds 4 seconds onto the time it takes to cleanse a totem.
You lose all your tokens though.
If the killer is capable to build up DH twice without the survivors doing practicly any totems at all then the survivors were probably going to lose no matter what perks the killer was running
If all 4 survivors do 3 dull totems this perk becomes a mediocre aura reading perk ... on a hex
And that's assuming the killer only uses 1 other hex perk
I feel you are very much giving this the best case scenario treatment. This is still a perk that can be removed 15 seconds into the match
-
Haven't played against PH yet but DS has counterplay
They can't deal with a predropped pallet other then breaking it so against them i would sometimes drop a pallet close to a gen i'm working on before they chase me
If you are shot midvault he can't down you most of the times anyway
Humans are also creatures of habbit so inexperienced DS will either always bluff or always shoot
If they bluff call the bluff if they always shoot dodge. If they mix it up then it's a case of mindgames
Ofcourse it depents on what you see as counterplay. If you mean a tactic that when used will always prevent you from going down then sorry but you shouldn't expect that in a 1v4 scenario
If you mean counterplay of being able to extend the chase or find a opening to lose the killer then yeah DS has counterplay

I literally said at the end make all perks purchasable with iri shards, you could even make dlc perks cost more if you wanted to just so buys on dlc dont go down as much, at least then its not p2w
You mean like the shrine? I mean i know the randomness doesn't make it ideal but what you want is already in the game.
How is it p2w if you can get the perks without paying anything other then the base game?
-
What do you suppose they do then? Make every perk from licenced characters useless?
You might have had a point if these perks were glaringly overpowered but most of them aren't even that good
-
Absolutly dispicable people!!
Ow you meant the characters, yeah they are not the nicest
-
Watching youtuber/twitchers obviously helps a ton, even if it's just a guide they posted
You can ofcourse learn the game on your own but for example the idea to moonwalk to hide your red light is not something everyone would come up with on their own and isn't told anywhere in the game. Yet it is vitaly important
-
Disagree with the "you shouldn't be punished for your team"
If you did 4 totems and your team did nothing. Most of the time you'll already have "won" through pipping
Escaping is a team effort though so imo yes if your entire team ignores the secondary objective then you as a team should be punished even if you as a player did 80% of that objective by yourself
Your team should have difficulty to escape if only 1/4 of players play smart.
I do agree that it sucks as the player that did all the work
-
Legion is mostly fine tbh.
You need to be good at m1 chasing to be good with them. Which isn't a bad thing
Good Legion are gods at mindgames and chasing
The only buff i would give them is that they recharge their power instead of losing it after a m1 so they can immediatly apply after downing a survivor
That and a look at their addons. Some are just non existent
-
This game really takes after old slasher flicks killers with how many times it has supposedly died and still is going
-

I don't think so. Look at his past threads, this is the mindset of a new survivor
Or the mindset of someone who likes to make joke treats
-
Legion is not nearly as weak as people are saying so not anytime soon i think
I do hope they atleast get an addon pass someday, Frank's mixtape and Stab wound study might as well not exist
-
Best thing is to not focus on strong survivors. Divide your attention untill you find a weaker looper
If they follow you and click their flashlights that's just free pressure of gens for you, ignore them and focus on the ones who actually progress their escape
If you don't have to lunge, don't lunge. That will prevent those misses
Learning how to mindgame and chase will be important for you cause you're playing killers who rely on their m1 game
It will be though at first but it's a skill that help alnost every killer so it's worth learning
Most important of all babysteps. Don't focus on winning the game at first. Focus on winning chases as soon as possible.
Some other small tips that helped me
In general if bloodlust hits and you don't see a hit incoming soon it's time to pressure gens
In most circumstances, especially early game, you don't want to rechase a person you just hit. The speedboost gives them massive distance. If they run in a straight line it takes 20+ seconds to catch up that's 25% of 3 gens. And that's best case scenario ussually they will be able to reach a safe spot and start the looping process again
Exeption to the rule above is if you know they are running into a deathzone/unsafe zone or when you notice they got stuck somewhere in the speedboost
Slugging is massive pressure and is vitally important imo. If you down a person and you see someone nearby it's almost always worth it to start chasing them. I know you want to be a nice killer but unlike camping and tunneling, slugging is in my eyes mandatory
-
Cosplayed as Legion once
Most low budget cosplay in existence
Literally made the mask out of cardboard, it was horrible
-
I get jumpscared more as killer then as survivor

working on totems stop the crouch, meaning you get tormented regardless
I'm pretty sure the torment trail needs to be a set distance from interactable objects
-
The whole point of the forums is to complain.
People who are happy with the game usually don't visit forums. They are just playing the game
Most forums are like this to my knowledge

I like this too. The tentacle thing might need some tweaking, it's hard to see that working without bugs and also not feeling like BS when you're hit by it. And do the tentacles disappear after use? otherwise it's trivial to get 4 tentacles up and running for the whole match
Aaw woops forgot to mention it. The tentacles are consumed on use yes
I think giving all survivors the killer character model would also be quite a chore to code
Just imagine the bugs that could cause

The speed is the problem of the killers. If people choose to not be healed that's perfectly fine. They dont have to. The believe survival is a better tactic then healing. Doesn't mean its gen rushing. Gen rushing is a term created by sour killers because the survivors outsmarted them and completed their objective quickly. Gen rushing is not a thing.
Sigh nevermind
You're not really comprehending what i'm saying
-
I want to see Dwight all muscle and hulked up throwing lockers at survivors
While wearing the tattered remains of his elf costume

@Kisagi1990 said:

Again. It's not gen rushing. It's getting them done like you are supposed to. If they finish fast that's fine. You dont have to heal if you dont want to and you can heal really quickly after finishing the gen and that's what most people do. Others are probably hoping for DS or maybe 99ing there health to trip up the killer. Gen rushing does not exist. Just the completion of the gens
Completing the gens is the objective
Genrushing is a way to complete said objective
It's a term to describe a tactic to complete your objective. Given for ease of discussion.
People aren't complaining gens get done, they are complaining about the speed of which gens get done while ignoring all other aspects of the game
Wether you think that's a problem or not is completly irrelevent to the fact that it's a strategy that people use. And thus has been given a term
Again what you're trying to say is that it's not a problem. Saying it doesn't exist just gives people arguments to use against you
-
Well it is a thing
Genrushing is the tactic to burn through the gens as fast as possible while ignoring other task like healing or bones
What you meant to say was that it isn't a problem in your opinion
