Evil Incarnate achievment?

I play killer, and dislike it.
It confuses me more than anything.
It's an one big dead end.

BHVR just so scared to make even decent survivor perks. I stopped to hope for any good survivor perks but they are not even doing decent perks.
Survivors are getting garbage perks. Barely new content while killers are taking all buffs, new content, new fun perks etc.
It's fun times to play survivor when devs barely cares about your role. They just so scared of if killers complain about anything. I don't know why they are ignoring survivor complainings tho.
This.
The new Invocation has so much potential to be good and they took the safest route they could (10 BNP charges on all gens).
Perks like Lightfooted, Boon Illumination can be salvaged to be good but they just don't do it.
But, idek what their thought process is like, so...

Finally "nerf Artist" post, I've been waiting for this for year.
Just say that you were destroyed by a good Artist, we'll understand.
My favorite killer... 😭

Where Hags buff bad? I can't try because..console. What was wrong with them?
With the buff itself, nothing.
The problem is that she can still trap hooks.
-
I truly hope that only changes that this perk will recieve from now onward will be buffs or none at all.
I love the Invocation concept and I'm glad that BHVR heard us. 15 charges would be better tho.
Now BHVR, please make Dark Theory an Invocation and give it a 3% speed increase instead of 2. People will love that one.

This would also warn the team about killer is camping.
Yup, but it's not really a problem since it won't really get implemented anyway.

More power to you than. I just don't have the room for it in my builds. I would have to give up a chase perk or regression perk for it. On top of that I have to constantly be looking towards basement to even see the aura. I'm pretty sure it doesn't give a notification when someone enters basement right? It just shows you their aura for 6 secs and that it. I just know I used it once on huntress to get her adept when I started playing two years ago and I found it one of the completely useless perks in the game for killer, excluding insidious.
Understandable.

An icon on the HUD showing the progress of the AFC would be great.

Iri shards.

Hahaha no thanks. I don't care if this perk becomes meta, you never going to make me use that garbage perk. I rather run only 3 perks than have that perk in any of my builds.
Ok, you do you.
I'll maybe put it in my load out, as it also counters Sable's better perk, Strength in Shadows.
-
@BlackRose89 said:
Don't think it's going to be meta or anything. It still a niche perk that requires a significant time sink. As a killer main my only concern is it stacking with BNPs but we see, I doubt it be that impactful.
That said I still not a huge fan of this just because it involves basement. Now I feel I'm going to have to visit basement few times in a match and I honestly hate basement as a mechanic in the game. I don't like taking the time to go to basement and I hate hooking in basement. Basement just feels like a time waster to me and I like to ignore it all together as killer. Now I'm going to have to at least go there once in while and I'm not a fan of that.
Overall all im mostly okay with this perk but I don't hate the effect it's going to have on my mindset.
Or put on territorial.
-
A meme build for people who would like to enjoy the new perk:
Invocation: WS - No Mither - Resilience - Wicked
Enjoy a silly build.

I am gonna test it myself whenever chapter drops. Hopefully it does.
Sure, killer will target me for this but at least they won't know about the other perk. They will just think i am crazy survivor who likes the challange.
I hope so too. No mither is the only perk that could work in sync with it, so it would be a real waste if it didn't
-
@MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:
I am curious if it is working with No Mither. If it does, then it will be fairly decent combo. High risk but high reward.
Probably, there was nothing about being healthy or not Broken for it to work.
-
Still less of a nerf than the removing of the visual effects when hit by a bottle...
-
Make it so it works like BNP (the charges stay there) and it'll be fine.
That's it.

@glitchboi said:
The Pig's roar is a homage to SAW. Plus it sounds silly and I love it for that.
There could be an add-on that silences the roar, preferably as a purple one though.
Instead of Amanda's Secret, for example.
No one uses that one anyway.

indirect nurse nerf because all nurses use fragile wheeze.
Not a problem for me. I like Anxious Gasp way more anyway.😆

The Unknown is, appearance and lore wise, one of the best killers we've ever got.
The power.... It's a bit disapointing, really wonky and not really fitting for it.
It's perks are nice, but not too strong (except Undone if you run an impossible skill check build or play as Freddy)
Sable is also a great addition looks and lore wise. Very good job, BHVR.
Her perks.... are not good. SiS is a nice perk, nothing op. Wicked is an interesting case, with a guaranteed kobe from the basement, it's gimmicky, but I like it. And at last, Invocation: WS. I said it before and I'll repeat it:
Give it a BNP like effect, so the charges stay on the gen for good. That's all. Nothing else has to be changed.
And the map is very nice and creative. No real complaints here.
-
Ohh, I can give you more than one perk, here, you can have 3:
Boon: Quid Pro Quo
A boon created from a mutual agreement with the Entity itself, benefiting both sides greatly.
You start the trial with 1 token.
Whenever a generator is repaired, you gain a token.
Blessing a totem consumes 2 tokens.
This effect does not affect other boon perks.
After a survivor is picked up by the killer in the boon's radius, the boon's power activates for 40/50/60 seconds.
During this time, any hook in the 4/6/8 m radius of the killer breaks for 10/20/30 seconds.
All survivors in the boon's radius suffer from the Exposed status effect. (can be changed to Hindered)
Amnesia
You know from experience how much harm can medicine do if it's used in the wrong way.
You start the trial with 4 vials.
You can drop these vials anywhere on the map, seeing their auras from 24 meters away.
If anyone, killer or survivor, steps on a vial, it will break and inflict Blindness and Amnesia for 30/45/60 seconds.
Amnesia conceals the player's HUD, hiding the amount of generators remaining, the states of survivors, status effects etc.
Into the Shadows
You have developed an ability to recognize the right time to step out of danger's way.
Every 60 seconds of total chase time, this perk activates, inflicting Exhausted for 5 seconds.
When the Exhaustion timer ends, following effects happen for 5/10/15 seconds:
- You won't leave any scratch marks or pools of blood.
- The killer will be unable to see your aura.
- Grunts of pain and your footsteps will be muffled by 100%
-
Is this thread satire? Did I miss something? Or did some giga buff happened just now?
How is a character that can just place a trap somewhere and that's it, strong? Sure, the trap can catch a survivor but THATS THE POINT.
Trapper has 2 traps basekit. You have to go out of your way to get more.
Traps can be disabled, or avoided. Just look where you walk.
He's very map dependant.
Before you can set up an area, 3 gens are done. So you have to be very good at defending your field.
The only saving grace of Trapper are his add-ons, and even that's just the few great ones he has.
So nah, he should get buffed or stay as he is.
No nerfs for trapper, pls.
-
I'd say, make the Dream Pallets base kit, add more options to it (Dream Totems, Chests, Breakable Doors) and increase the number of how many you can place (25 for everything for example)
Make the survivors question everything.

Its so sad. They seem to severely lack understanding of how to balance these kind of powers.
Im just gonna post this here again:
Best form of nerf to RBT:
- survivors cannot die to the timer running out while searching a jigsaw box
- survivors are not interrupted by screaming while searching a jigsaw box
Nothing more is needed. These nerfs would be in line with the buffs she is getting. The nerfs proposed in the notes are overkill.
Let me add to that a bit:
Make her crouch 4,0 m/s
Make her terror radius 24 meters
-
Lol, my escape rate is below 30%.
But then again, I am bad at chases and avoid them as much as I can. Plus, my MMR is rock bottom so, yeah...

My guess for killer perks:
1# Hooking the same survivor within 120 seconds 2 times blocks all the generators for 3 minutes and shows survivor auras 12 meters around pallets during that duration.
#2 When hitting a survivor, kicken a pallet or a generator, the survivor who got unhooked the last time is exposed for 2 minutes, suffers from 30% hindred and the aura will be shown to the killer until they are dead.
#3 Leaving the hook for more then 6 meters makes every survivor within 80 meter range of the killer exposed.
Survivor perks
#1 If every survivor suffers from one or more status effects, you are able to open chests 1,5% faster.
#2 The radius of any boon totem is increased by 1 meter. Once a boon gets destroyed, this perk deactivates for the rest of the trial and the survivor who blessed the boom is exposed and suffers from the hindred status effect for 180 seconds.
#3 Flashligh blind duration is increased by 3%, but consumtion rate is also increased by 300%. Blinding the killer will make every hook a scourge hook until the survivor is dead.
Probably close enough.
Just hoping they won't actually put these in.
-
I just hope it will be an original chapter, so I can get it with iri shards if I want.
-
Anxious Gasp on Nurse.
Severed hands on Artist.
Ghost soot on Wraith.
And ofc Scratched Mirror Myers.

6.1 was a disaster. The nerf to anti-tunnel is something that the game just hasn't recovered from, and it was subsequently pushed into sweatier and sweatier territories. Killer issues get happily addressed, but every time the survivors ask for something, it has to be trimmed down so excessively that it ultimately accomplishes nothing. Seeing other survivors' loadouts? 'Probably in a couple of years'.
6.1 also put the final nail in the coffin for hex perks with Ruin getting deleted alongside DS, so now totems are effectively non-existent as a game mechanism. Gameplay just keeps getting flatter and flatter.
It's literally only gen defence perks and genrush perks, proxy camping and tunneling
-
Dont forget to buff Huntress! 🙃
-
Can anyone tell me:
If you're working on a gen when in the drone's radius, does it scan you?
Do you gain Lock On stacks?

Having so many other killers in dire need of a buff, you go and make a killer that's fair for everyone stronger?? Why?? This from a 4k hour bunny main. I play her in comp. I know her power's ins and outs, but I'm scratching my head right now. And not only that but you also miss the opportunity to fix glaring map design issues that affect Huntress and other killers?? Here's what the changes SHOULD have looked like, if you had just checked with people who actually play the game:
"The Huntress
Out of hatchets with no locker in sight? Or maybe The Entity sent you to a map with poor line of sight, making it difficult to line up a shot? To help her stay topped up, we have made the following changes:
- Increased the frequency of lockers in certain maps where locker dead zones may appear.
- Removed excessive clutter in certain maps to allow better line of sight.
[IF YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST CHANGE SOMETHING] The Manna Braid, Flower Babushka AND SHINY PIN Add-Ons – which increase the Hatchet wind up speed and movement while holding a hatchet– have had their effects very slightly buffed to give her opportunities to attack in busier areas.
These changes will also in turn help The Trickster and The Dredge, whose powers also depend on having lockers available in all areas of the map."
There BHVR, that's literally all you had to do. Instead in true Behaviour fashion you went "number low, so buff." Literally who asked for these changes?? Not to mention being aware of how many hatchets you have left or when to reload is also a part of the killer's skill ceiling!
Leave the Huntress alone, she is fine. So what do you need to do instead? Let’s see…you did notice not having lockers around is a hindrance, you did notice excessive LOS blockers is an issue for some killers in particular maps…c’mon devs...you are this close to getting it. Don't you see? The problem is not certain killers, it's the m... m... say it with me...the MAP DESIGN :D
Why is this so difficult to understand??
It's not even funny anymore.
I agree with this
-
I don't know if you're joking or actually are serious about these changes. Survivors are at their weakest atm.
-
As I see in this thread, BHVR can just make the traps take 10 minutes to kill a survivor and there will still be people telling aCtuAlly hEr slOwdoWn is FiNe, yOu arE jUsT drAmAtiC.
Just because she can stomp a newbie team that doesn't know what the boxes are for doesn't mean she's strong.
Also, the aura removal is not that bad, as many pointed out, you can patrol the boxes anyway, but that's the exact reason why it's not needed. Good players will just patrol them regardless and bad players will just get confused by it.
If they will go through with these changes, they could make Pig's terror radius 24 meters again. It would help the crouch/ambush a bit.
-
@GeneralV said:
It is hard to believe Pig got nerfed... again.
When they changed her monstrous end game potential around the time the EGC released it was already a bit questionable, but you can see the reasoning behind that change.
The same cannot be said for anything that came afterwards, especially this recent one. The most important aspect of her kit is getting nerfed, and it isn't needed.
Hopefully the PTB feedback will be acknowledged this time.
We can only hope they will wake up on how weak she is.
-
Nerf the Pig - one of the most infamous memes which was made BECAUSE of them nerfing her for no reason.
And then they mention it in a post which announced another Pig nerf.
-
Who asked for Huntress buffs?
No one. Yet they do it anyway.
Everyone talks about how weak Pig is.
They nerf her again.
I mostly agree with the rest.
-
This would be an interesting game mode, but that's it. I don't think it would go well if it was the main game mode but, as a fun modifier, I'm in.
-
I like this one.
-
About the Legion, the way he is in the mode is the only way they could make him work in Lights Out.
-
I agree completely.
Shame that majority of people hate it because of the tunneling problems.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
What if everyone loves the lights out mode and there's outcry to keep it in the game. Are we still destined to say goodbye in 7 days?
That's not likely, considering how the forums look now...
-
@Peanits said:
This is our first modifier, so we're still experimenting to find what works best. There's a couple reasons why it's only available for a limited time, but a big one is to help get matches going in the modifier. If it were available permanently, there would eventually come a point where the novelty wears off for many people and they move on, leading to extremely long queue times for the few people who still want to play it. Like an event, we'd like for modifiers to be fun things that pop up from time to time that people are excited to take part in.
There will be more modifiers in the future, though, and it's not out of the question that popular modes could return in the future. Any feedback is welcome!
And another reason why its here for such a short time is the reality that most of the player base hates it already and we're on only day 2
-
This one. Its the truth.
-
@Devil_hit11 said:
you realize that there is no borrow time in this mode? right? so killer can hook someone and just hit them immediately off hook.as soon as they get unhooked.
Uh, no? I hit a person that came off hook by accident and they got the BT effect.
-
Ghostface twice. I just hear a weird sound and oh sh- i revealed him and he's coming
-
I was afraid that they will remove the hud for this mode completely, but I was thankfully wrong. The mode is great. More fitting for me as a survivor than the base game ngl
-
I would make the tape insert/pick up 2 seconds again, but other then that, good job!
-
I play soloq as well and its either:
The killer kills everyone before 3 gens pop on a good map (for them).
The killer gets a 2k even on a bad map (for them).
All survivors escape and the killer gets 5 or less hooks. (Very rarely)
Maybe cuz my MMR is rock bottom...
