For the sake of making it feel fresh every time we get it, and for the sake of normal queue times, I'm fine with it being temporary.

Isn't that just a default Wraith issue?
Nope, in usual games this doesn't happen.
As to the original post, my guess is that the animation elapses sooner than it should, but the actual uncloaking happens as intended.

You must be getting unlucky or something, as every once in a while I get a team that actually does gens. However most of my random team mates seem to think chests are more important than gens. It is so frustrating, I hate this mode but I play it because of the BP incentive
My exact experience.
I was one of the only people doing gens, even though we had 3-4 Guides.
-
Gimme my bloodpoints.
-
Oh, so it's not intended? Too bad, I liked it.
Also, you cannot attack for a while after uncloaking so maybe it means only the animation happens quicklier than it should and you, in fact, decloak normally.
-
Invocations need some changes, mainly buffs, and especially Treacherous Crows. It's weak.
Hexes need only one thing and that is a totem spawn rework. Make totems actually hard to find.
Boons should have their sounds reduced and get some buffs, Illumination and Dark Theory especially.
And Teamwork perks might as well not exist, they only work as SWF perks.
-
So in short, make the MMR count more than just escapes.
Fair point. Low MMR solo Q is a nightmare, and the lower you get, the harder it is to get out of it.
I support this suggestion.
-
I'd love to see that one update which brought Chainsaw Myers into the game reintroduced.
-
That doesn't prove much.
In fact, if you take these stats as evidence that Trickster must be buffed, that implies that Artist must be buffed as well.

I don't buy original character with money by default, so if I'll buy her, then with shards.
If her bugs get fixed, then yes. She wouldnt be my absolute main, but the kind of character you play from time to time.
-
Wait how would that work?
You transfer a hook state.... from you.... to you....?
So doesn't that just... cancel out?
-
The perk is as good as you can make it.
You last long in chase? Big rewards for you. You go down in 10 seconds? Try again next time.

The dog's animations look extremely unpolished, which is expected from a PTB. But I really hope it's getting looked at before release.
Because Knight too is still an incredibly ugly mess at times (completely disappearing for a split second when finishing a path and taking his terror radius with him). It just looks unfinished and he's been in the game for quite some time now.I also hope that they will get fixed.
The dog's animations look way too silly.
-
It would be nice.
But at the very least, we need to buff sacrificial wards.
-
Yes please.
-
Bubba? OP? Seriously?
Aside from an add-on pass and a bigger grace period after hitting someone with endurance, he's good as he is.
-
What do you mean with win more?
Considering the effect would trigger only when the match is already over, or if the killer is tunneling, I don't think it would be a "win more".

Yes.
Please.

I wouldn't be against this, but I'd like to see a return to a specific update. Specifically, the one where the game broke and Chainsaw Myers existed.

Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance is a fine perk and does not a rework. It helps many killers to get passive regression and no longer work with tunnling.
Your suggestion could be a new perk or a rework idea for Hangman's Trick. It sounds good. Reminds me of the anniversary ability for killers or of the quick caging in the first 2v8 event. Helpful to save time and can be paired with other Scourge Hook perks.
Agree here.
-
Yes. The title is correct.

All of them
I don't think that all of them need changes. For example Dead Rabbit and Scratched Mirror are perfect the way they are now.
Of course, a lot depends on what exact changes we will get for Myers.
-
As killer, I use the void from time to time, depending on how the trial's going.
I ran Impossible Skill Check Doctor during the event and it gave me enough time to go to the void and do event things.

yeah but currently his bat for transition back to his normal for is only a 1.2 sec before you can hit a surv it's far superior than spirit currently you don't need to worry about 50/50 with his bat form you'll always get a guaranty hit
My opinion is this:
Bat isn't stronger than Spirit, but Dracula as a whole might be.
So, Bat Form Dracula has 3 advantages over Spirit:
• Shorter cooldown, infinite duration and other powers to fall back on. The third thing is the most important. I can guarantee you that if he was Bat only, Spirit would beat him. But with the teleport, Hellfire and Wolf, he has the versatility she lacks.
Now, for the advantages Spirit has:
Much faster speed, she's much less predictable, can attack instantly and can track survivors slightly better because there are no loud bats squeaking around her. A short loop is a coin flip against her most of the time.
Plus, with the next update, you can bet that the shapeshift cooldown will be increased, so that brings Dracula a bit lower.

I think they should buff it to 50% but it ONLY activates late game. It'd be pretty hilarious being able to basically yeet survivors off the ground with 50% faster pickup speeds.
Maybe keep the perk as is, but add this. So during the game, you get slight buffs, and during the endgame you get a big one.
-
Oh, what a coincidence!
I made a rework idea some time ago that would fit this perfectly. Initially I thought of giving it to Premonition, but decided to use Spine Chill for it instead.
• This perk activates when your aura is shown to the killer. While your aura is revealed, the perk's icon lights up and an auditory warning starts playing.
• For every 12/10/8 seconds of your aura being revealed, gain a token, up to 2/3/4. Each token delays the revealed aura by 1 second.
(Explanation: If you have 4 tokens and the killer uses an aura reading perk, he is still able to see your aura, but not where you are currently, but where you were 4 seconds ago. The aura reading also starts and ends later, so the duration of the aura read stays the same.)What do you think?
Edit: Your idea is fine too, but as others mentioned, it would become a sidegrade to Object of Obsession.

Yea, only once tho, then you get Exhausted and cannot use it anymore, so if you wanna save it during a chase, you cannot vault for the next 10 seconds after vaulting, so like 99% of Exhaustion Perks, it can only be used once per chase!
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3833581#Comment_3833581
Not really, you can only use it once per chase and then you cannot use any Exhaustion Perks, and such a draw back is quite silly haha
Oh, I thought it was like Cut Loose, doing it for as long as you can refresh it. My bad.
-
Some time ago, I had an idea of a status effect that would completely remove the HUD while active. This would be an effect that could be used on both killer and survivor perks.
-
So, it deletes medium vaults.

this please, it's about time we started compensating for the smaller maps.
Or we should just, not make maps smaller.
-
I like it.
I had a similar idea, but with an additional mechanic that every time you vault a new window, you get a stackable vaulting speed boost.
-
Because outside of that, she is fairly balanced.
-
I'm in.
But only for the chaos.

The Zimbabwe Bubba is back....

Mostly agree except don't infect literally everything Dull totems, lockers, breakable walls are extremely unnecessary to infect a very high priority to infect are Survivors, Gens, Pallets and Vaults in chase if they ain't broken already.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3832888#Comment_3832888
You actually can't infect breakable walls anymore. And yes, while it's highly unlikely to infect someone through lockers or totems, it's free points. And Deviousness is already hard to farm as Plague, so…
-
@CountOfTheFog said:
I just decided to play her. How does she earn Deviousness points?! It seems impossible!
I don't quite understand her power. Do I want to just use vile purge? After I go to the fountain, her vomiting is red and I can't infect anyone?
Is it good to vomit on a hooked survivor? Or do players just do that to be toxic?
I don't understand the descriptions of her add-ons either. For example, "Decrease the number of pools of Devotion in the trial by 2"
I thought I wanted more of those so people will give me my power stronger?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Deviousness points are fairly hard to come by as Plague, that's true.
You can basically never go wrong with infecting everyone and everything.
Vomiting on hooked survivors is good, since it's free infection.
Use the red puke when you know someone is near.
That one yellow add-on is not worth it and even Plague mains don't know why it's here.
Simply put, vomit on everything, and once all survivors are infected, all pressure is on them.
Also, if all of Plagues fountains get corrupted, she gets the Corrupt Purge automatically and all of the fountains reset.
-
I'm kind of wondering about that too. It's not that hard, after all:
Scourge Hook: Creative Slaugter
It's said that serial killers never change or adjust their methods of slaughter. That was never your case.At the start of a trial, 4 random hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks.
Each time a survivor is unhooked from a Scourge Hook, a random one of the following effects applies to the survivor who unhooked:
• 30/60/90 seconds of Blindness
• 10/20/30 seconds of Exposed
• 30/60/90 seconds of Deafened
• 40/50/60 seconds of Oblivious
• 5/7/10 seconds of Hindered (-10%)
• 15/30/45 seconds of Exhausted
• 30/60/90 seconds of Amnesia
• 10/15/20 seconds of IncapacitatedNone of these effects can happen twice in a row.
Amnesia causes the in-game HUD to entirely disappear, replacing it with a special filter (hazy, blue-ish edges of the screen)See?
-
To me, it's more of the opposite problem.
Perks cannot be buffed a lot due to SWF making every possible perk combo OP.
They can even take advantage of Up The Ante, a.k.a. one of the worst perks in this game.
-
I don't see a reason why not.
-
@Rokku_Rorru said:
Honestly I feel being in basement for like 60 seconds is enough of a downside for what in turn would be 50 seconds of gen progress, a health state for the whole trial is overkill, just give broken until next hook/duration. if need be
I feel like the risk can be large, but the reward has to also be really large to make the perk worth it.
-
@Ohyakno said:
Nobody likes this?
Huh. I think it's pretty cool. Items that you can only find in the trial seems good to me.
Not a fan of the firecrackers though. Not unless they fix survivors clipping into your model to get saves.
Glad you like it.
Of course, the firecracker bugs need to be fixed since they sometimes break the game and just feel unfair in general.

Did they reveal the time when the new update is revealed?

@Toystory3Monkey said:
I wish BNPs /similar perks were more about preserving progress than about adding & preserving it.
something like "toolbox no longer increases repair speed. you reduce the maximum amount of charges necessary to complete the generator instead of adding them" so that you could potentially have generator at like half charges without possibility of regression. or maybe you could've used the already existing charges on the generator to convert them into "max charges reduction" instead. So you just have a button to press that would convert some big % of already manually added charges (20-30% feels like a fair amount) into max reduction immediately.
probably not going to happen, bhvr are fine with the current version. not strong enough to break the match in hands of any monkey that takes it and that's just about the balance bar they set for stuff like this.
Ngl, I like the concept of this.

I had an idea for an aura denying perk, and decided to use Spine Chill as the base for it, since it's so bad now.
Spine Chill (New effect):
• This perk activates when your aura is shown to the killer. While your aura is revealed, the perk's icon lights up and an auditory warning starts playing. You also get a 2/4/6 % boost to all action speeds except vaulting.
The aura reading also starts and ends later, so the duration of the aura read stays the same.) -
I agree with this post.
-
Eh, why not. Nice idea.

Well someone's lucky.
