TWD map should be remade from the ground up.
-
Make it so killers are incentivized to not tunnel, which includes both rewards for not tunneling, and punishments for tunneling.
Simply put, try pulling more ideas from the original antitunnel draft.
-
This would work against you.
-
I would like some more classes.
The four we have are good, but done to death.
-
While she would be slow, she WOULD be deadly and hated.
With 8 people who all want to stay healthy, you have people feeding you your power constantly.
So she would get much more value out of Corrupt Purge.
So while she may not end up excelling at keeping everyone injured, she would get a splendid supply of Corrupt Purge and people would likely complain.

So haven't played the PTB but I know about the scratch mark color change which is nice while I can still see scratch marks easily on certain bright maps like cold wind it's sometimes hard to see the red on the yellowish environment so having a different color is nice but part of me already thought…there's at least one survivor out there that will say changing the scratch mark color is unfair as it makes it way to easy to track down survivors. I think the only reason why I think this is because survivors just don't like killer's getting any kind of help.
I wouldn't pay attention to these people.

She was busted mainly to her obctuction ignoring and autoaimed gland. Both been changed drastically.
Autoaim glands still exist.
The projectile is almost guaranteed to hit if you bounce it off of stuff.

Krasue and Skill don’t belong in the same phrase.
Oh she definitely needs a bit of skill using the head.
The projectile is braindead easy, I'll give you that. But looping with the head takes at least SOME skill.

Is it just me, I seem to get really low scores for being the Scout in 2v8, despite following the killers for most each game? Have I missed the point of being a scout? Its also difficult to know for certain if the team reveal aura is working or not.
None of the class-specific actions award you any bloodpoints whatsoever.
But, since all the other classes roles are made to engage with the thing that award them normally (chase, healing, gens), the lack of Bloodpoints is not so apparent there.
Scout on the other hand? It is tailor made for stealth and following the killer, not to chase, not to repair. Just consistently feed information to your team and ensure there are enough pallets.

I agree. Updates are needed.

My problem with tunneling is that 90% of the time it's done by people who play high tier killers. I frequently hear the narrative that it's "the only way to win" on weak killers. You are going to get destroyed if you attempt to tunnel good survivors on a killer like Ghost Face or Legion. I seriously can't even remember the last time a weak killer successfully tunneled me. Weak killers are bad whether you tunnel or not. It's the high tier killers that benefit the most from it. The sweatiest players are ALWAYS the ones playing Ghoul, Krasue, Blight, Nurse, Dracula, Spirit, etc. They're the ones who hard tunnel from five gens and stack four slowdowns against randoms in solo queue.
I tend to agree with Otz that they should have kept the last system and just toned it down. It would punish the degenerates who tunnel at five gens on Blight and give more benefits to the weaker killers who can't even utilize tunneling effectively. They had the right idea but as usual they caved to the morons who were overreacting. They did this instead of making sensible changes to the initial idea. Now we have this terrible system that nobody on either side likes.
This is true.
Yes, you can push the narrative that tunneling for pressure is necessary, but it isn't always the best choice.
Is it worth it for a Pig to tunnel, or rather use her power to slow down the game? What about Sadako? Trapper? Of course Nurse can remove a vulnerable player easier, but the same applies to healthy players.
Plus, if you hard tunnel, guess what? Everyone else genrushes.
Now, I DO think there should be a bit of a reward for spreading pressure. A bit more than we got now.
-
That doesn't sound like a bad idea, although I have no idea if it's plausible (not a programmer)
-
Ok, I think they fully knew that this is a thing, and conciously left it in.
Since, why else fully rework Furtive Chase, and not kust remove Haste from it, if not for the fact that BoP overshadows it now?
-
It's cringe, but not cheating.
Plus, we literally got the option to make the scratch marks as contrasting as possible basekit.
So nope, not cheating.
-
I don't think anyone would find this a good idea.
Survivors would get mad that they are slowed down, killers would be mad that they can't even give the survivor that got unhooked in their face Deep Wound. And tunnelers would be mad too but who cares.
Not even mentioning DS, a survivor favorite, ceasing to exist with this.

In a match where I'm paranoid about walking much less running? I didn't get lucky escaping the trap before he got there just to self-trap by staying on the spot and mending.
As far as I'm aware, Deep Wounds don't restrict your movement at all.
So you can still run away, and quite far if you're lucky, so the Deep Wound is mostly a small nuisance.

As I said, I wasn´t asking for a nerf there. It is just the lingering question in my head "Why him". Why doesn´t Trappers trap give you deepwounds when you escape as an example. "What is so special about Deathslingers abilty to inflict it".
Btw it is kinda stupid that if you hit the Survivor and swing your weapon and miss the Survivor gets away healthy but if you don´t do something and the chain breaks you get the injure XD
Trapper's traps should give Deep Wounds tbh.
-
While I think that Claw Traps and Lock On are fine in the current form, I kinda like the Stealth Drones and the Enhanced scan. Also I like the Oblivious basekit.
-
It's nothing you couldn't do with reshade before.
It will be fine, don't worry
-
One of the few new things that are actually good.
-
Franklin's should get a revert.
Idk what to do with Hoarder.

I'm tired of all the streamers, most are main killers, running these kinds of campaigns to sabotage help for survivors. Excuse my English, I'm Italian.
I find it unreasonable to try to banish these changes, mainly because outside of perks (Wicked, BT) and the wallhacks, they are very much not a problem to deal with.

i wish they would’ve just nerf the addons instead of flat out reworking them. nerf the syringe to 32s for the heal and nerf styptic to 2.5 or just a flat 1 second of endurance. there was no need to do completely new effects that honestly make them more of a hot topic. instead of having that intense 20-30 second window of “lock in or this syringe was worth nothing” we are now to “i stand still and instantly get my sb back.” or they could’ve made the syringe more risky and made it activate slower while being chased. anything but these terrible reworks…
Definitely.
Or a downside, like making it so you can only use the syringe/styptic, but not the medkit itself.

Most will generally say she's still too strong yet ever since her last nerf she's been hovering around a 46% kill rate. Far below what the devs want killers at. Why do we think that is?
People discovered that you can crouch tech her.
And probably because people expected braindead easy games and didn't get them.

Well I find it useful maybe it's a placebo effect but I just find it better then using the meta of Pain: Res and dead man.
More power to you then.
I'm glad there are still people who don't want just run the same 10 perks.
If I can recommend an off-meta slowdown, I can reccomend Scourge Hook:Gift of Pain, or Oppresion and Overcharge.
-
I'm a killer main, but if this goes fully through, I may swap to survivor.

@Blueberry said:
First the m1's lose Sloppy, then STBFL, then Monitor, now Furtive. Idk why we keep killing perks for m1 killers. We really just want everyone to stack 4 slow downs.
Even better, we lost Monitor, so Furtive can replace it and invalidate the argument that was made for it's nerf.

You can effectively only use the heal once too, considering Wicked is extremely obvious when it's used, even more obvious with Wicked + Resurgence and Killers can usually choose to carry you away from basement to hook you elsewhere. (though that depends on the map)
I'm personally not sure how strong it will be myself, I think the bigger problem with the combo might be Resurgence providing too much reliability to go with what should be a big gamble Perk setup, but we'll see how it pans out
Wicked is absolutely the problem here.
Both the old effect made basekit and the new one too.
-
I think that even the most braindead soloQ ayers can utilize these changes very well.
They have every tool they need for a safe escape
-
@ShanoaLegendaryPlz said:
Its a one use perk. On 1 hook in the entire map. That the killer can figure out if you are trying to get hooked there. And only works once. I'm not that convinced itl change the game entirely
You can self unhook only once, true.
But the heal works after every hook.
-
@BongoBoys said:
I fear that Resurgence is gonna get nerfed to make it so you don't get insta healed when unhooked in basement
Instead of the obvious solution of keeping Wicked as it was and NOT giving SWFs a wallhack that can't be stopped after every hook.

Shouldn't be additive.
It'll probably be 50% of the remaining 30%. So, you will still be injured and need a medkit.
Or better yet, walk back the aura reading and give Wicked it's old effect.
-
I specifically mean a smaller rework, not sprinklings of a dash and projectile.
Things like giving her back the second scan line, maybe a mechanic that allows her to move a drone without being there, ect

Original Pain was a very unhealthy add on, but not being able to chain someone after they Dead Hard is a bit much. Not sure about that change.
BTW, Original Pain is now Black Greasy Lens but better.
They have an almost identical effect.
-
Dying Light is a perk that lets you win more.
I find it rather useless because of this.
Since, yes, you get 8 stacks and a 24% speed penalty, but the game is almost over anyway.
-
I find it ridiculous Monitor got nerfed just so you can't get a small TR..
And the next patch it's back.
-
It's dumb, but what can you do right?

@UndeddJester said:
Sill don't know why Survivors not having collision after unhook isn't a thing... I thought that was pretty universally considered a good change for both sides.
- Survivors can't use their 30s Endurance to block a non tunneling killer and bait their Decisive Strike.
- Killers like Wraith and Kaneki can't get ahead of Survivors to block vaults and windows.
- Also is so much less annoying in general as Survivor, not having to go around your teammate to run from hook...
Using a combo of their Haste and no collision, survivors were able to clip inside the killer to make hitting them inevitable even if the killer just tapped the button.
The feature failed to do the thing it was supposed to do.

Whatever happened to the anti-bodyblocking feature? I thought collision was removed between players? I got bodyblocked in a corner by a griefer recently and I couldn't get out no matter what
Well, since the anti bodyblock was part of a feature that was a stitched together patch to 3 different problems, it got nerfed alongside the anti-hiding feature.
So you have to sit still for 3 minutes before you get the colision removal.
-
It would get really boring if we removed the Bloodweb, since that would mean Bloodpoints are useless, which would mean Prestige is useless.
Outside of flexing and who gives a crap about that.
All of that would make this game really unrewarding, since the Bloodweb gives you a sense of progression, you are getting somewhere.
-
While yes, these sound scary, these assume the first survivor can last 90 seconds in a chase.
Which is rare.
Another thing that can happen and does happen, is 3-genning. It got nerfed, but it still works really well.
A tight 3-gen as the final one is a death sentence against any stronger killer.
Not that this is completely invalid. It shows why tunneling and perks like Pain Res are popular, and why everyone complaints about gen times.
-
Nah, that is a wrong belief.
The game is not decided within the first minute.
You can have a bad start and end up getting a snowball.
-
I think it's already awesome and people don't run it simply because they are allergic to creativity.

There are several very underrated perks - Solidarity and Reactive Healing are one of them. I feel the unpopularity of solidarity is mainly caused by popularity of antiheal perks - Gift of pain, Leverage, Sloppy are commonly used.
Reactive Healing would be great, if it actually healed you after 3 times or so.
-
Interesting changes. Here are mine:
- Return his stalk range back to 40 meters.
- Now the warning sounds play when his stalk meter is at 80% and when his Tier 3 starts (was at 50%, 100% and when Tier 3 starts)
- Evil Within now requires 6 Stalk points to activate (was 5).
- The reduction to the stun durations is no longer kept in Tier 3 unless you use Tuft of Hair.
-
They are some of the more difficult things to go against if someone is new.
Once people start getting better and more aware, stealth killers start to get worse.
-
I'm too lazy for that.
They could solve it by actually making the things in the bloodweb worth using, and cutting out the excess things.
I could easily cut out at least 11 items from the survivor bloodweb, and that is with me trying to preserve as much variety as possible.
-
Despite the survivors getting practically god mode off of hook now, the killer actually still doesn't have a single reason to not tunnel.
BP? Bloodlust? Who cares? Not those who have the tunneling mindset.
With the rewards and punishments (even tho they were a bit overwhelming), you at least felt incentivised to spread hooks. Now? You get a "the survivor is now hard to get". So what? If you are playing a killer that can go fast, you can ignore it and power through all the buffs survivors get.
T.L.D.R. - Give us a reason to not tunnel outside of a slightly harder chase.
-
Yes.
Also, nerfing the increase it gave (was 8 meters, now is 15%) was nonsense too.
