What's BM? Borrowed Mime?

There are enough killer perks to counteract stealth in the game that stealth is completely meaningless and obsolete. Looping is the only viable way to play because the devs made finding people so easy.
-
"add a 3 second cooldown after crouch"
and now we see why he stopped by the forum to make this thread
-
Killer no FUN for ME he need rework because my fun matter more
Killer can no have fun, me only have all fun
-
"Each of these perks in the situations they bail you out of can be the sole reason you survived"
Yeah, that's why they're crutch perks
-
I mean, I wouldn't mind going against SWF if they didn't always bring the decisive crutch loadout and act like manchildren
I'd rather be outplayed by an actual good player than lose to someone who relies on 50 second chances to waste all of my time
-
make the dudes crouch with their knees forward to compensate for the added height
-
"Oh no, this one specific mid-tier killer has a counter to my one perk! OP!! OP!!!! NERF NERF NERF NERF NERF"
-
NOED is one kill
If someone got smacked and you see the hex notification pop up, just leave. That's what I do anyway. NOED carries bad killers because survivors are too worried that their hooked teammate will scream at them in the post-game chat, so they go for the unhook and it just results in 2 kills. Maybe it can work if you have BT AND the guy is hooked next to the gate, but even then it's a gamble.

If you want to prove your case youre gonna need evidence,
Launch the game, start video software. Record yourself destroying every single team and post the video.
We then can analyze your performance instead of this post with no proof to back up your claim. 😀
I would need to buy him, which brings up another issue, he's essentially a pay2win killer

You cant really nerf the mori whitout ruining the offering. If you make the mori activate on dead hook it will be faster to hook someone. If you make the mori active only when you hook everyone at least 1 time if someone is hidding all game you just waste your mori.
Changing key is easy you make it so you dont find them in chest and key are fair again
If someone's hiding all game, you're going to win. That guy's not doing anything productive and 3 survivors aren't going to have the momentum to win. Therefore, the ebony would still net you a win if the survivors adopted that strategy.

unsafe pallets are crap. Thats why hawkins is so bad, because they made the pallets so unsafe they may as well not exist because a killer can completely ignore them and get hits without ever worrying about a pallet stun.
This, being chased on Hawkins is hell on earth unless you have Balanced Landing.
Every room I run into has me thinking "Ok, what do I have to work with here?.... I see, garbage"
I'd much rather take mindgame-able things like T&Ls and Cranes

No, we need more T & L walls

Did you forget Stake Out has the OG great skillcheck bonus now?
Not only are you getting a Guaranteed great skill check, it grants a noticeably bigger bonus to gen progression!
Stake Out should be getting alot more attention for how much it makes great skill checks more rewarding since it has the orignal value before 1+ survivor gen speed nerf happened.
It's outclassed by Prove Thyself. I used to LOVE it before the Ruin nerf, but now I just don't see it as worth the perk slot.
-
Ebony Mori just isn't worth playing against. I rage at leavers all day, in fact I've made threads about it, but I'm leaving too if I see the first guy get mori'd

Can killers get a perk that guarantees no SWF?
"Oh yeah? You want changes so this completely useless thing has some kind of use? Huh? Well guess what? How about I GET A BUFF FOR THIS COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT THING? Huh? You like that? I bet you do!"
What got unplugged in your brain for you to be this defensive and jaded toward people who play the other faction in your video game? I've seen more whataboutism on this forum than I did in an actual political science class.

More survivor buff yaaaay.
Jesus, the number of people that think like this is shameful
"Bad perk be made good? But perk for running men. Now running men be UNSTOPPABLE. Bad perk stay bad so no big power to running side"
They would rather trash perks stay trash and in effect KEEP the second chance meta
-
No. I don't want survivor tier lists.
Imagine being an ace player stuck with 3 garbage perks, or a david stuck with no mither

ok

@DudeDelicious I don't know if you do this, but, I do fake Kobe for a bit to see if the teammates will respond. For me that gives them the opportunity to make a choice if the killer isn't around. It's a good indication of the team and then you don't unnecessarily suicide. :-)
...and exactly. We booted it up because we want to play with everyone.
Raising your arms for a kobe is DBD sign language for "the killer is at my hook"

Jake and Nea are original characters and they look how the devs wanted them to.

Just make it skill checks, I hate it when my thumb cramps up for a second and it looks like I rage quit

That guy's not on stretched res, bud. He's just looking down.

Fitting name for this one

It's not survivor or killer sided, hatch is just a broken mechanic overall. EGC should start and gates should be powered right away. However, maps have to be adjusted so gates aren't next to each other.
People would just complain that the last guy gets away too easily because the doors are too far apart. There is 0 doubt in my mind there would be a million salt posts on this forum about how far away the gates are. Hatch is fair as it is, in fact the killer is probably gonna find it first, but that doesn't stop people from crying about it every day.
-
->Tunneling Adam players
There are Adam players?
But in all seriousness, you would have to record the game and leave it up the the discretion of BHVR to know if the guy was purposefully being racist or just a Bubba playing scummy and tunneling people.
-
People act like it's impossible to loop her, but when you're on the other side of the pallet you still have 180 degrees of safe movement, while she can only phase for a few seconds. Pick a direction and walk for a couple seconds, then start running again. Most of the time she's either still on the other side of the pallet, or is gonna miss.

I'm not trying to hijack your topic, but I have had zero luck with reporting people holding the game hostage on PS4. Still, I don't DC. I go take a shower, make a snack, and watch YouTube. I'm patient, just speaking to the times people DC where I feel a shred of understanding for it.
BHVR doesn't tell you the results of the report.
-
I have never in over 500 hours had chase music that ridiculously loud
-
@Azgard12 said:
I absolutely agree (as someone who lives in a place with many storms and power surges).
What do you think of these slightly different situations that are times I've seen people DC:
-The survivors are holding the game hostage.
-The killer is holding the game hostage (less viable to happen now, but used to be easier).
-The survivor is sick of playing against the same killer repeatedly.
-The killer's hex is broken at the game's onset.
-The survivor is missing their UI (somewhat common on PS4).
-The game is glitched in general.
If someone's holding the game hostage, they get banned. Record the game for at least a few minutes before you DC. You'll get a 5 minute matchmaking ban, they'll get a week long game ban.
Glitches should also be recorded, but I try to play through the jankyness of DBD's bugs.
The other 2 are just frustration and not valid reasons to ruin the game for the other players.

The DC penalty is not doing anything.
My concern is as a killer, they're still rage quitting, and I'm going to find more players, and those players will rage quit and on and on.
As a killer, it doesn't do anything.
Nothing.
You don't see it do anything, but the number of rage quitters at any given time is without a doubt lower than it would be if there was no penalty

If you don't like the perk the way it is, just move on dude... Use something else, MoM is working fine, my last comment because I can't change your mind. Selfish dude.
-> If you don't like the perk the way it is, just move on
You could say this for literally any perk in the game

Do you watch streams and YouTube videos? They are manyyyy ways to use it, you just don't know and we are some players who use it well and don't want a nerf OK?
Don't be selfish and try to be better with this perk, or just move on and don't ruin other players experience pls
It sounds like you're the one being selfish talking about how vital it is to your experience
And streamers doing meme builds aren't trying to pretend it's good. No top survivor is gonna recommend that perk over the better choices we have.

I've been knocking things out and camping each item.
Each Flashlight, each medkit, each toolbox, each key.

First I though you would like too add the healing system, then I understand you just completely removed the protect hit. So yes...
I activate MoM EVERY games I played with it, you just bad, this perks doesn't need at all a rework it's completely fine the way it is rn.
Apparently me and 99.999% of survivors are bad because MoM is SUPER good according to this one random guy

Yes, your rework suggestion is really bad, don't punish players who loves this perks because you don't know how to use it...
First it's OP, now it's punishing MoM users
Sorry you're super dedicated to a crappy perk that takes a year to get any use out of
-
I honestly don't think Spirit needs further changes. I'd much rather fight her than one of the anti-healing killers. People act like it's impossible, but when you're on the other side of the pallet you still have 180 degrees of safe movement, while she can only phase for a few seconds. Pick a direction and walk for a couple seconds, then start running again. Most of the time she's either still on the other side of the pallet, or is gonna miss.

Because MoM is one of the strongest perks rn, you just dont know how to use it. In my main build I used MoM, and if your change was official, I don't need to bring a medkit, I can use flashlight or whatever and I would be too OP.
I ran : MoM, Breakout, For the people, Soul Guard + medkit with purple add-on
Imagine if I can heal myself without medkit with this kind of build.. I would be invincible... It's not what it's supposed to do
Except it wouldn't function the same way because it's no longer an endurance perk. It would just let you heal yourself back up after taking a default body block. Its essentially just a temporary, faster self-care when you protect your teammates
-
Who the hell has time to camp the item? What is it, like 90 seconds? That's 4 gens
-
@Anara said:
I think it's a bad idea, it's too OP.
I think you just don't know how to play with MoM, bring a medkit with the purple add-on, you will see MoM doesn't need a buff at all.
What is OP about just taking a bodyblock with no endurance and healing yourself out of the chase?

I was actually unlucky. Killers chasing me is at least 3 gens done. I like being chased as well.
Yeah, sure bud.
-
@HeyAssButt said:
If it was changed to something like this the healing action would have to be a lot faster than self-care or what’s the point of using it when self-care can be used whenever you want?
I believe self-care is 50% slower than the default self-healing speed, so this perk would give you 100% speed if it was given the proposed stats.

I activated it twice earlier in sabo builds. And next time means a the hit after mom hit. I use it all the time. Its a good perk and its fine as is.
That just means you're lucky the killer didn't bother going after you. He let you pester him while he was trying to hook others instead of getting you out of the way.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/177722/mettle-of-man-isnt-usable
It's usable. You can get downed before it activates, and on the activation hit. It's perfectly fine as is.
"mettle of man will deactivate the next time you are put into the dying state"
Do you actually play with this perk? What in your mind makes the payoff worth those ridiculous, punishing prerequisites?
