That's not the flick, that's just the increased turning the hillbilly gets at the start of a chainsaw sprint. The flick was something that happened at the end of a chainsaw which allowed you to quickly look to the left or right. It basically made it so you could hit someone that wasn't in front of you.
Short version, good luck dodging a chainsaw. Even if you made a sharp turn around a corner, you would still get hit.
so dodging around a corner wont work for a chainsaw....
But you nerf pig.

Almost all of my friends on DBD are quitting have quitted or are planning to quit real soon...
they have lost 30% of their players. That's the whole last years worth of growth. I also hardly see any of my friends around anymore. I used to like playing SWF up in purple ranks. but the people I know have poofed.
I wish BHVR would get their ######### together.

Why do your PTB changes only get tweaked once, and put onto live servers without further testing the tweaks you just made?

@Shad03 Thanks for the feedback! This is only on paper, I can't wait to see the feedback when you guys get to try it.
About this:
- The Deep Wound timer progress is no longer reduced by regular Feral Frenzy attacks.
If I am not mistaken, the addons still give you that power, it won't do it on basic frenzy attacks that aren't modified by addons. But let me verify.
You mean when you throw it on the ptb for a singular round of testing before you do minor tweaks and throw it onto live servers without further testing?
I kinda want a refund for this killer now. This sounds, on paper, horrible. And to be honest, the way you handle testing doesn't make me feel confident about the future of a killer i genuinely enjoyed playing, even though they weren't that strong. This isn't a rework, this is a straight nerf, to a killer that wasn't that good.
This is what happened to Freddy.
A killer wasn't strong, but lower skilled players found them oppressive and people in general, found them unfun to play against. So instead of brainstorming solutions, you nerf them to near uselessness, so people stop playing them.

Except you can’t pip if you camp at red ranks... ever. Since you know... you lose a lot of points every 10 seconds if you’re within 16 meters of a hooked survivor and not in a chase.
Not talking about Red Ranks here. But, i can promise you that you can pip by tunneling people right out, at rank 1. I know, cause i've tested a few playstyles, at rank 1. And it's not that fun to be tunneled right out.
So just to reiterate this, cause people seem to misunderstand.
I'm not saying you are going to pip by face camping. I'm saying it's being done more now then before because many killers care even less about pipping now.

Well you say it’s coming but there’s no news or even hints at such a possibility. So again I wouldn’t count on it.
Because it's not close to ready. I'm guessing some of the framework coding was done, which allows for more then 1 killer. This coding was found and exploited by moving files around (probably). So i don't think the mode itself is ready. Just some of the basic coding framework.

I don’t see it happening honestly. Everyone would find a reason to complain about how unbalanced or unfun it is. You know, because of how amazing this community is?
Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if I caught members of the dead by daylight community stealing from charities.
that's why i said it would be a secondary, opt-in event game mode. That's only around a limited time of the year.
But likely many will look forward to.

i tried to argue what meta meant a long time ago. i'm done. The common meaning for Meta is "what everyone does" no one uses it to mean the actual most effective tactic available.
i could link a thread of mine that will show you pages of people arguing against me, and almost no one with me. You and I,who know the actual definition, are rare. And no one cares.
-
@GrootDude said:
Since when did camping become the most effective tactic available? I rarely see camping in my games anyway.
who said it was effective points wise? They absolutely aren't piping for the face camping.
And when you are facing purple and red rank killers with groups of green survivors (cause that's where i've been survivor wise for a month, since i stopped playing nearly as much) the games are pretty much 4k's.
I litterally don't know how many trappers i've played against that don't lay a single trap, but know how to counter every kind of loop. I am a Red rank killer, have been forever. I can recognize when killers and survivors are pathing in the most optimal way possible. And these killers are.
They aren't trying to pip, they just want to get there power trip off. And sadly, it's made green ranks a nightmare, survivor wise. It's not hard to drop your rank to green, just lose a few games right before reset if you are red, drop to purple, and you wont start at purple, you'll start green. We all know this. Some of you (like me) Do it when you've bought a new killer and want to play them in lower ranks and learn them.
That's not counting the direct tunneling now. The ones that are trying to pip are straight up tunneling people out. And you kinda have to, if you want your pips as a killer. Even if you kill someone, if you haven't hooked them enough times, and smacked them enough, your overall total will be crap, and you will black pip.
edit: Hell you can see some of their posts here, people just camp for power fixes. Just read a few comments above this one to see proof.

Let's see Pig's ambush doesn't give survivors a MOM stack so no you don't need to camp, any ability used to land a hit doesn't proc MOM. I had a game against a red rank Pig the other day. She destroyed 2 survivors using MOM running the regular Pig build and never camped.
I hate to tell you this, but not every chase starts with a dash attack.

So, Any other idea for types of rewards for holding rank? Also what else outside of an out right ban would support this idea? I like the idea of if you D/C more than three times you're booted from que for about 5 minutes then you get an hour cooldown if you D/C again during that hour you get booted from the que for half an hour. Once more and boom and hour
Yeah i wish thinking like 15/30/45/hour
As for rank rewards. They have already come out and said they are brainstorming it, so I'm not going to keep asking for it. OFC, we might not see it for like 8 years, but they have officially stated they are putting work in for rank rewards. And no i don't have details, because in standard BHVR way, it was just a brief mention.
edit: I do want to state, that post showing what they are working on.. I love it. It's about time we started getting some info like this.

Old spies was better. New spies could be semi-useful if it wasn't actually broke.
Use it and watch it sometime. You'll see that the perk goes off without giving you a notification when it should.
However, on the couple games i played where it worked most of the time it should, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. It was useful for Pig, at least.
-
There quite a few perks for Survivors to track the Killers movement. The strongest are Spine Chill and Alert.
it already exists, spine chill. it's an alright perk. I've used it in gen rush builds for the action speed increase it gives when the killer is looking in your direction.

MoM is powerful but not OP. Also if the aura is a problem then just 99% your heal or don’t heal a thing all.
you must not play at high ranks. All chase extenders are OP with the current state of gameplay.
What I mean is this.: Until there is a secondary objective to complete to prevent full on gen rushes, they will stay over powered. If staff simply made each generator require a single part that had to be found, before they could be repaired, it would solve the problem.
Why is this the case?:
All generators can be done in under 5 minutes. That means with any chase extender it's really easy for a group of 4 to send there distraction out to the killer, and have 3 people rush gens. The distraction will be put down, but will be grabbed as the gates are opened.
This isn't a rare case, this is exactly what is happening.

The free weekened is over, and we can see that things are still in the red, and going down. All the free weekened managed to do was bring the average daily players up to about even for a day. So contrary to popular belief, I don't think free weekends pad numbers much. They are trying to entice new players into buying a game for a reduced cost, a game that's in an absolutely horrible spot.
I can't even play survivor anymore, it's all camping and tunneling to get 9 hooks and 4k. And I can only play my best picks as killer, because almost every rank is red and purple ranks now.
-
bumping this to keep it in the dev's faces.

While I 100% agree with obeying the rules I find the "scummy/toxic" part a little too much of a grey line. Monto and Noob3 are toxic and scummy sometimes but not to the extent that they want to deliberately ruin someones day. I think its sort of a tough spot to judge.
But again yes any representative for a product (Dead by daylight in this case) should be responsible for upholding the standards the company wants to set for their product.
Noob3 is one of the people that pioneered the D/C Meta. By advocating D/cing against Legion.

@SmokePotion, Look at me, I'm in the boat you mentioned. While three of my kids are grown to one degree or another (25, 20, and 18), I also have a 9-year-old. And let's be honest, the 18 and 20 year olds aren't fully self-sustaining adults yet, either.
I'm an author. Not only do I produce three to four novels and other novellas a year on my own, but I also have contracts with other publishers for fiction work. I put in a lot of work hours.
The wife doesn't play DbD, so when she has the rare time to play a game (she's a Home Depot store manager), we play Overwatch together.
I don't have much time to put into Dead by Daylight. The grind here is ######### asinine. It's worse than any MMO, and I stopped playing MMOs due to the grind-time involved. I just don't have the time anymore.
I love DbD. I just hit Rank 15 last night. I'm in new territory now. After hitting rank 15, all I had last night were SWF teams that managed to pop gens like they were percocets and they were addicts. I don't even have a basic build ready to go yet. But thanks to this damned free-weekend, I double pipped like crazy last night.
So now this grind is leaving me with two choices:
1) Now I either purposefully avoid Pips while grinding bloodpoints, or just stop playing until rank reset next Saturday.
2) I just stop playing the game entirely because now it's just a steamroll against me.
The worst thing is, with the current ranking system, people that should be much higher rank, are playing down there in the rank 15 pool. Many on purpose.
I also write, short stories atm. I wouldn't mind talking about that in DM if you're game to talk shop.

While there were other ways the OP could have gotten more points (also at the risk of losing the 9 hooks he managed to achieve with how he did play) the hatch took away 1 potential hook and kill from his emblem ranking. Yes with this new system (if rank is what drives you to play) the hatch is a huge loss on the killers side.
It is like trying to rank up as survivor but being Moried. I could tell you to play differently to have avoided getting killed but at the end of the day that Mori cost you any potential points you could have had because it bypassed the normal kill requirement.
i should hire you as my translator

I play Final Fantasy 14 with some people, and they asked about DbD. As I was talking to them, I realized how much worse the grind is in this asymmetrical horror game than it is in the MMORPG with a monthly subscription fee. I told them that after 400+ hours, I still didn't have access to many of the builds I'd like to do on the killer side. It was at that point I realized how hard the devs have made it to honestly convince people who are interested in this game to spend $10-20 on it. That's insane right? That the grind is so excessive, that the barrier of entry to fun builds is so steep, along with the bugs, d/c's, etc., that people don't want to spend that amount of money on a game they can sink this amount of time in. That should say it all right there.
I never even thought about that. I'm a disabled war vet. I stay home all day, and a LOT of that time has been DBD. Over 400 hours of time. Working on 5. And most of my killers don't have access to the perks they need to work.
Keep in mind, I have the time to, and have, played this game 8-10 hours in a day. Maybe even more when I was trying to make a name for myself at Rank 1 ("Learning to Kill" is what i go by. I was planning to do a youtube channel devoted to killer education)
And if I don't have kits on killers I want to play, what about the Mother or Father that only has an hour or two after their kid goes to bed, and before they gotta get some sleep before work? I had an idea that would help this, that i came up with for other reasons.
In my post about fixing the d/c meta I suggest that everyone should already have all 4 perk slots open, at level 1. And every perk they have unlocked via grinding others should be available at level 1, at rank 1.

@SmokePotion Well everyone has done it.. does it. I DC'ed a couple times last week as killer cause I didn't feel like playing against a few OoO SWF groups back to back and got bored.
There is stuff in the game that people don't find fun sometimes, so I understand why they may do it. He doesn't do it very often so that is why I wouldn't see it as an issue, but some people do.
If people got penalized for DCing a bit more harshly... or/and the Devs took it more seriously, then I don't believe there would be any need for a petition.
The thing is, sure. it might be a point that you can argue that if you run into sweaty swf that are rushing gens, and no ones getting points anyways? Maybe.
However not for Vince. I hate to say it, but he is a role-model. If he likes that official endorsement, and I know he does, then he needs to remember that his actions have a ripple effect. It's just how it is. He should try to make the ass-stompingly bad game funny for his viewers, and step away from it emotionally.

@SmokePotion That's why I said, we have to not look at the free-weekend and Bloodpoint Event bumps just on their own, but watch to see what the numbers look like during the work week afterward.
Did Behavior convert those returning players (BP Events) or new players (Free-Weekends) into regular players? If not, then those weekend numbers mean nothing.
Monday and Tuesday will tell more.
For the record, despite my criticisms here, I love Dead by Daylight. I want it to grow and stick around with full resource support for years to come. I got gifted Legion last night, then went ahead and purchased Plague and Ash to complete the current collection. I want Behavior to get their metaphorical heads out of their asses.
I think we have to look at the gain they get from free-weekends and bp events, so we know the margin of error we are working with. But I get what you are saying.
I also love, LOVE, this game, and want to see it self-right and improve. I'm posting this thread here to show people that there is a problem, and to rally people to try and push staff to fix them, before it's to late. I have real solutions posted in other threads as well, and I try to keep them bumped.
This is my petiton to hold Fog Whisperers to a higher standard:
I've been saying it for a while, but I've been hearing other people talking about this topic lately as well.Ideas for fixing the d/c meta:
There's a hundred idea's floating around. I thought i'de give my idea's, since I play this game to much. 1: A D/c penalty needs to be applied. And a game adjustment i've playested in KYF:
Second chance perks are Over Powered. Why? Because with a single second chance perk and a little bit of skill, all gens can be done in one chase/hooking.This is not me being a vulture, praying for the death of a game. I genuinely want this game to stop bleeding out.

@SmokePotion I was reading this post.. I don't disagree with it if people would like that. I'm just making a comment about your comment on "Vince"... I like vince too.. some people see me in his lobby the odd time when I'm near his rank and can snipe in. I enjoy his entertainment with DBD, can be pretty funny.
But the comment about intentionally DC'ing?... He does that.. Probably once a night... For the same reasons most do it.. There is something unfun about a particular situation from the start or during the match and they are gone.
For example.. Get mount Osmond with Vince as killer.. You'll most likely get a DC from him. You slug him while you sweat as a killer to prevent the 4th survivor from getting hatch and hunt them instead of hooking Vince... You'll get him DC'ing.
No offense to Vince or anything, I enjoy his content, but what you said is incorrect. I've watched him pretty regularly for almost 2 years now.
TBH I think everyone at some point as DC'ed... Especially if they have a few hundred hours plus. I would be a hypocrite if I said or pretended I haven't.
1st thing: You've sniped Vince? You lucky bastard, I can never get him. I have beaten Stream Dad and Noob3 with my hag though. (i didn't snipe them though, they just popped into my lobby,a nd i confirmed it with their stream)
2nd: See, that makes me sad. I've watched a lot of his stream, and never seen him d/c. I love Scardette, it's pretty funny. But content aside, he really shouldn't. And i'm sure if he got an email from bhvr saying "Any fog whisperers caught intentionally d/cing will lose their status" he wouldn't do it again.
I believe this, because he's never been on his stream saying things like BHVR will never ban them, ect. Like some streamers have. ANd I stand by this. If we want this zeitgeist to stop, we have to take steps to stop normalizing the behavior stopping it.

@Bbbrian2013 That's about the only trick they have left in the hat. The questions, though, are:
1) Do enough of those people buy any missing DLCs or buy Auric Cells?
2) Do they stick around after the event?
If they don't, then it's not even a band-aid fix because, while folks might get faster lobbies with the Event player count boost, it did nothing to improve the overall health of the game and then we're back to where we were.
It's happening now. Today's peak so far is 31k. It's a bump, let's call a spade a spade. But come Monday or Tuesday, what will the non-free-weekend numbers look like again?
these free-weekends and bp events aren't bandaids, they are propaganda. They are there for people who like to check statistics, like steam charts, to trick them into thinking the game is in a healthy state. So they will keep buying DLC.
If you think about it, it's hard to actually tell the numbers on steam charts because of how often DBD does this. We should take past numbers with a grain of salt, as they are padded with false numbers from free weekends ect.

So you're saying....you believe that the hatch alone cost you an entire pip?
SURELY there were other parts of the game where those pips could have been made up. Seeing as you can, ya know, double pip, theres a lotta room.
Gens in first 9 mins is a big thing. You said yourself you didnt leave chases to stop gens. What did ya expect?
ok, you.... Nm.
Look. I'm saying the new system is stupid. 3k, 9 hooks,a nd 0 pips? I should have 1 pipped that game, at least.
The hatch is even more broken with the current system was a point, but the THE point.
Also, i was constantly hooking. It is bad to leave a chase to go check a gen where there MIGHT be a person, but you aren't guranteed.
Also keep in mind that you are trying to tell a guy that has been rank 1 and stayed rank 1 since before this new pip system, that he doesn't know how to be a killer. I know when to drop a chase, and when not to.

Just imagine your experience as a new player in 2019.
You start a game as survivor, first it sucks but after you figure out how to play the game and get better you realize that you basically press m1 for 4min with some hide and chase with the killer.
If you start playing as killer you either have fun, because you can dictate the action or are frustrated because you lack of counterplay option.
The first time you run into a good SWF group you ask them, how did they know where you are ect. because since then you could play you killer fantasy. What voice? Isn't that cheating?
Every killer player was at that point if they never played in a SWF.
The actual matchmaking is frustrating to play with on both sides.
You can be the gen-jokey and depip.
You can occupy the killer the entire game and depip.
As killer you can 4k and depip.
You just feel robbed, until you realize that ranking up don't give you any rewards besides sweatier matches and longer queue times.
If you still want to play this game as a new player you walk into the bloodweb.
Over the time we got so many new perks that the grind has become insane. You can level up to 50 without getting all native perks at tier 3 even if you go for them every time they appear.
So you end up level 50 with a lot of tier 1 and 2 Perks and a bunch of add-ons, items and offering, half of them are of no use for you and your playstyle.
Besides KYF there are no option other than grind to try out new playstyles and perk combination so you get stuck in a repetitive grind with no clear sign that your effort payoff in the end.
TLDR: the game has become hostile and difficult for new players to get into and veteran players don't have a lot to do.
Agreed. I actualy had a friend ask if I wanted him to buy the game so he could play with me. I told him ."Nah, i love the game, but it's not in a good spot right now I'll let you know when the dev's fix things."
I didn't want him to deal with d/cs on first death, and the host of other problems.

i appreciate this bump. Let's keep this thread up there for so long they have to see it. preferably with like 8 pages of thumbs up.
i"m hoping the difference between now, and the last time this was brought up is 2 fold.
1: A lot more people upset at the state of the game.
2: DbD is still losing players, even during free weekends. So this should have the staff worried.
losing players is shown here: https://steamcharts.com/app/381210
With the free weekend, it looks like they might just hit green for this month, matching the same amount of players as the start of last month. Which is still down 30% from over the year. Which means they lost a years worth of growth.

@SmokePotion, At this point, I have to begin wondering how much Behavior truly cares about DbD anymore. It's not just them allowing Fog Whisperers to run rampant and/or encourage account attacks against opposing players or viewers, it's the state of the game. And trust me: they'll swoop in here like Peter Parker with a web-shooter and proclaim how much they care. But unfortunately, none of their actions in any aspect has shown that for months on end now.
As was stated by Cote in an interview, they're now in partnership with Lionsgate for a new game. DbD is three years old now. Maybe they're just looking ahead to their new title(s). Wouldn't be the first time I've seen a game studio do this.
And some people in my life wonder why I've been a Blizzard customer for 25-years, despite their warts. Outside of the rare outlier like Diablo 3, they support their games for years on end.
Supported for years on end... Unless their name is Heroes of the Storm.
Sorry had to.

And who says those streamers will care?
They were streamers before and would be after losing it, one thing the viewer bases of a lot of streamers hate is seeing them be a sell out.
So do BHVR listen to the 9 or 10 people posting here or the thousands of viewers of the people they know had bad practices yet help them sell the game?
This thread itself hasn't gained traction which tends to say most people simply don't care about what streamers do and just want BHVR to fix dcing for everyone.
That's besides the point. Although, since they went through the process of becoming a fog whisperer, i'de think they would care a little. However, again, that's beside the point. It's about the company endorsing things that they know actively hurt the game.
-
Just want to point out that it's currently F2P and the numbers are still dropping.
Maybe it'll pick up a bit tomorrow, but still. Sad. And this is a clear effort to bring up some numbers and get them in the green for a month. (which would still be in the red for the past few months)
-
@twistedmonkey said:
I cant see BHVR enforcing certain things on to paying customers.
Fog whisperes are just normal players who happened to stream with decent sexed communities, BHVR have approached then to help them out by way of giving out info to their viewers and keep promoting the game, in return they get certain incentives to help their stream.
They are not BHVR employees so they are simply held by the same rules as any other player nothing more.
If they want to keep their fancy emblem and incentives, I'de say I could. After all, it's not like they are forcing these people to be fog whisperers. These people asked for the endorsement.
It's like bhvr is an advertiser for their programming. if they are breaching the rules (which they are, they just have a bad way of enforcing them, that lets people that play more troll more) then they can pull their endorsement. And that's what I'm asking for. Pulling the endorsement of people that are doing behavior that shouldn't be endorsed.
-
@Bongbingbing said:
You'd think this would have been practice from the get go.
People who promote the game should follow the rules, But as it stands now you have people actively encouraging DCing and Deranking which by association and lack of any penalty for doing this makes it seem like BHVR is okay with this kind of game play.
I made this post after a response from a BHVR employee that said that they know they have fog whisperers do this.
So they know and don't really care. I thought it was time they knew that WE care.

They liked an idea better then ours?
Like the idea of nerfing Spies from the shadows into uselessness? No one asked for that except people that didn't use the perk.
Like adding ANOTHER chase extender into the game after years of us complaining about the last one. These perks are OP because of how this game plays. Without a secondary objective, like getting parts for the gens, these perks are overpowered. Just because of how the game plays. If you don't think so, you aren't playing against the best survivors.
How about them actually using the PTB? Ash was released with 0 out of house testing. Every killer gets a week in the PTB, but their changes don't get tested. This cycle of testing is truly half-assed.
How about the idea we've been shouting at them for better communication? DLC are released without much warning. We know they will be released on a tuesday, because we've been playing this game to long. But what about new players? It took me a while to find out how BHVR releases dlc, and people made me feel dumb for asked. Including staff. "We've always released on a tuesday" Yeah? How about telling us a date, instead of telling us that you just released them. Some people might like to be able to plan around buying the dlc.
Sorry, these devs havent earned the respect you are telling us to give them. this is just a couple of the thorns in my side that keep me upset. But BHVR doesn't pay attention. That's how they ended up using the code from fallout shelter in the westworld game, and got sued.

Ideally your rank is not your reward, but rather to gauge your level of skill and match you with other people of your skill level. You should eventually hit the rank that you're comfortable in and then have a hard time ranking up past that. With that said, the emblem system is still being tweaked and adjusted and any odd edge cases should hopefully be ironed out.
see, you say this, but by the time most players reach the rank they are comfortable in, you reset the ranks, making them play with a mix of skill levels again. Which isn't that fun when you are a rank 1 killer against middling rank survivors. Or vice versa.
To go with that, EVERY killer plays different. My ability to slaughter a 4 man swf at rank 1 with my Hag without perks and add-ons has almost nothing to do with my ability to give people hats as the Pig. So if rank was supposed to represent knowledge and skill, why then, are all my killers the same rank? Making it silly to play killers I'm not godlike with after a certain point.
edit: Most people see their rank as a kinda reward. And your monthly reset is based on a system that thinks that way. That's why ranks reset, to make you have to earn them again. And I don't know about you, but I think of things that I earn, as a reward.

Maybe because people can *almost* outrun his bottles.
And they're not too good when they do hit, either.
Dev's hate the hindered status. But his power is still strong. it's kinda like nurse, you have to learn how far to charge your bottles to get them in front of people. You also need to be very aware of the direction the loops have to be run to be effective, so you can gas the long side.
Clown takes a fair amount of game knowledge and skill to actually use. But his power isn't flashy like other killers that take a fair amount of training. Ie: Nurse with her neat blinks, Billy with his one hitting chainsaw, spirit and her mind games. That's why no one plays him except his fans.

I've not used or faced the perk yet. The general consensus amongst most on this forum suggests it's a terribly unbalanced perk. I want to know why.
to put it simply: it's a chase extender. And any chase extender is OP. in the current state of the game. Maybe if they put other objectives into the game it might change that. But as of right now, in the upper ranks, it's op.

Sounds like a cool game. It reminds of trouble in terrorist town on pc. Is it on console at all? Preferably Xbox.
I was like this with dbd for a while, I only played when a new killer or update came out. its always a good idea to take a break from games especially online ones. Online games are killer to the soul honestly.
i don't think it's on console, sorry. They are a small indie company, and this is the only game they have with any real playerbase that i noticed.

Here is an idea, A reward to ranking up and staying ranked up.
By giving rank a reward attached to each rank that is paid out at the end of the session.
Nothing for 20, after that 10,000bp AND/OR 200 shards x 1 for Brown ranks, x 2 yellow rank, x 3 green rank, x 4 purple rank, x 5 red rank, x 6 rank 1. Using this math just using blood points is the same as two mori dallies. I understand that seems very small but most folks lizard brain will kick it and want to tough out the bad matches more knowing there is a reward waiting at the end of the session.
that could work. Also having some kind of in game icons/ avatars for our account would be an easy code add-on for rewards. Plus give people that have everything, to unlock more stuff.

I don't know. My concern is that it'll be waiting until the mid-chapter patch, which is still several weeks out. Hope I'm wrong, though.
if they do this, you can be assured of less then 10k players a day by that time. People are leaving this game.

as stated in my post, a d/c penalty wont fix the issue.
It will help, for sure, but other steps need to be implemented.

Honestly just having the audio thing occur every once in a while but still have the visual would be nice.
Honestly, the spies alert sound was different then other alerts, so i didn't mind the spam, since i could tell the difference.

it's a chase extender for survivors, who already dictate the pace of the game.
This perk would be absolutely fine if the game required survivors to find parts for the gens they need to fix first. But as it stands, with gen rushing very much in the game.
It's op unless you are just a bad survivor. Plain and simple. Fix how the gens work if you want to add chase extenders.

@SmokePotionYou're on some serious ######### if you think a bad nurse blinks to catch you....ok let her chase you without blinking when she's slower than you that's a great idea....you obviously haven't even tested the perk so maybe you should hold off opinions until you actually play with it as I have
you're on some bad ######### if you don't think a good nurse will walk to cut off a loop.
Im not saying she wont blink the whole game, you're dumb if you think i said that.
I said a good nurse will get hits without blinking.

@Delfador If you're attacked with the killers power you dont gain a stack it has to be a basic attack, so why is the nurse gonna chase survivors without blinking?
Edit: ive already tested this so it's not just a theory
ummm a few things....
firstly, all these attacks you mentioned, are counted as basic attacks by the game, and award both brutality (basic attack points) and Cunning (killer power points) so things that trigger off basic attacks, trigger off them. Ie: Dark Devotion procs from everyhting you just said. so i call bs.
Secondly: You have to exit phase walk to attack with the spirit
Thirdly: As a hag main I have hit plenty of people without teleporting, especially in the first 2 minutes of a match.
Fourthly: Good nurses hit you without blinking all the time. Bad nurses rely only on blinks, good nurses cut off escapes.
So everything you said was all stuff you felt was right, but wasn't.
