They did include questions in the survey regarding a new game mode and what tone the game mode should have though.

It takes a lot of veterans who are already burned out from the last 6 years off it as well, people acting like this game will never end are delusional, BHVR said 4 years ago they "hoped" to keep it going at least five more years and we're coming to that deadline where eventually the higher power in that company will decide to no longer update it and keep it where it stands , the game will more than likely still be playable but I predict the 8th anniversary is gonna be the last where they announce it's ending, and by then they will have some real competition or announce a DBD 2 (which I doubt will happen)
BHVR said 4 years ago they "hoped" to keep it going at least five more years
iirc they said a few years later that they planned to continue supporting the game for as long as people were still interested in playing it.
Also this

I want bhvr to go ham on vittorio and give him as many off-date cosmetics as possible.

DBD also is in the situation where competition doesn't really exist. BHVR would be silly to stop supporting their own monopoly.
Even with a ''proper'' competitor, i guarantee you that the game would still have more than enough people who'd either play both games or who would still just stick to dbd exclusively regardless of how the quality of said competitor is.
I'll even go as far and say that in the unlikely scenario that dbd would actually die or bhvr would stop supporting the game, you'd still have people who would lament the game's demise and ask for bhvr to revive and continue support for the game. People did it with Evolve and Deathgarden, i'm 95% confident they'd do the same for dbd as well.
-
None, because i already own them all.

I honestly don't know man. I'm calling to give up on core all together and just play the mobile version as it's such a better game. It feels love and effort was out into it, plus it featured gameplay mechanics before core which is a joke. Plus a lot of killers are getting love again such as hillbilly is insane on mobile.
Do you also qualify gacha mechanics as "love and effort"?
-
Hopefully not.

most of the changes are not beign asked for, how can u change so much in the game and not a single thing about blight? its because he performs so well with everything that numbers are not disbalanced in your data
please listen to the community, nobody wants the death of deadhard, healing, boons, pain ressonances, call of brine etc, we want other perks to be better and the strong ones to be a little weaker, not fully dead
I do, every perk you just listed are perks that i want gutted and buried, the sooner the better.

I mean as long as you're not breaking the forum rules, there shouldn't be any problems.

Had DBD been a thing before year 2000, the likelihood of OG Freddy making it into the game would have been much more likely.
What we did end up getting was probably the best deal we could have gotten at all considering how very protective New Line/Warner Bros are with their IPs overall.
Some rather we'd not have remake Freddy at all while others prefer remake Freddy in dbd than the OG, personally however i rather have Freddy in dbd than not have him at all since he, Bubba, Pig and Myers were the licenses to really put dbd on the map for people.

It's the same things on repeat, over and over and over.
DbD is dying, players will leave the game, this will create hour-long killer queue times, BHVR is biased and only listens to people I disagree with, this hurts soloQ, this makes SWFs worse, this buffs Nurse and Blight, this encourages tunneling, and camping, and genrushing, and a hundred other things.
If there's legitimate criticisms to be had, it's hard to find in this mess of outrage and hysteria.
Everytime someone unironically says ''DBD is dying'', the game's lifespan is increased by a minimum of one year.
-
I don't think bhvr are just gonna release new RE cosmetics just because a new RE game releases.
-
Trickster would unironically make for a great villain in some Korean horror movie.
He is dbd's own Patrick Bateman and the people who disregard him solely for his appearance or that he's related to Kpop are the same people who probably wouldn't suspect him of being a psychopathic murder.

im pretty sure chris's model is supposed to be this alternate outfit from re5 (really weird choice from bhvr)
@Ghost_Face_Main said:
Absolutely no offense to those that designed the character models, but it's fascinating that it isn't really known if Chris' appearance is based off of RE5 wearing the RE1 S.T.A.R.S. uniform or the designers forgot Chris is very baby-faced in the original RE. The promo images involving the outfit even featured the correct face for the design.
Nemesis is actually very good for what they were limited to beyond scale. However, why does he have two eye sockets instead of one visible? The portion of his head covering his missing eye rather than being a visual of warped skin instead sinks in and gives the impression at times he has two eyes. It's a minor gripe imo, but that's not to say it isn't noticeable.
Chris's real look is supposed to be as it appears in the first dbd RE trailer, only reason they didn't use it in-game is probably the same reason Claire and Jill used to not look like how they did in the trailer either, likeness rights.

what exactly is more important than fnaf that would actually be viable in dbd? alien, not really, predator and terminator are more action than horror, devs already said chucky isnt happening, i dont see terrifier or any stephen king properties happening, conjuring, m3gan and insidious are too modern to be "important", am i missing something? fnaf's impact on horror in gaming is massive, and whether that impact was good or bad in your eyes, you cant deny its huge
Fnaf had an impact yes, however Alien is still historically and culturally more significant of an IP than fnaf is, to claim otherwise is just objectively false.
Friday the 13th is pretty up there as well, which lawsuit ended last year.
Cote said Chucky is too funny yes, but he also said and i quote ''If i continue to vigorously state that they are much too silly for Dead by Daylight, wouldn't it make a much better story if we ever end up releasing them?'' Also Dave Richard said in an interview that he's onboard for bringing Chucky and Thanos into dbd, so it's not a ''never gonna happen'' with Chucky.
Resident Evil as much as i don't want another chapter, is still much more significant than fnaf ever will be.
Disagree with me if you want to by all means, but don't act like Fnaf is single handedly the most important license out there, because it's not.

Slinger’s is too long? It’s like a 12 second loop I’m pretty sure
Which i personally think is too long for a chase track in-game since it constantly fades in and out between different timestamps of the track because Survivors constantly breaks and re-enters chase with Deathslinger.

Totally agree. Tastes are subjective. I can understand a lot of your choices.
Wesker: the music is too much in the foreground for my taste.
Deathslinger: The last part can be annoying.
Legion is earbleeding but fits to them.
And hearing the music ingame can be different, too
Also tierlist placement aside, the thing about chase music to me is that it's supposed to increase the tension of the chase itself, you're not suppose to jam out to it nor is it supposed to sound like a song you'd listen to outside the game. That's why chase music that loops repeatedly like (SM, Dredge, Myers, Hag, Doctor, Sadako, Ghostface and Pinhead) or almost repeatedly (Nurse, Pyramid Head, Hillbilly, Spirit, Blight, Twins, Trickster, Nemesis, Knight, Artist and maybe also Clown) fits the chase aspect more in that regard.
Wesker and Legion's chase music imo fits the characters themselves, however the music fits more as songs rather than chase music and that's where the problem comes in.
Wesker's music is not chase music, it's boss music that sounds like you're suppose to fight someone rather than run from. Legion's chase music is as mentioned before, a song one would probably jam out to.
As far as Deathslinger goes, it does feel like chase music kinda but not entirely, i think the problem with it is that it's too long in length before it loops.

And I agree with your last point, but only for human killers. That's my opinion, but seeing a monster like Alien hooking people, when basically Ive seen it instantly kill them doesn't make sense.
A human killer can hook survivors because he is devoted to the entity, because he likes to inflict suffering, but a beast kills to eat, because he is territorial and aggressive, certainly not because he is devoted to some sort of divinity (or rather, a divinity of a world "external" let's say, I hope you understand what I mean).
You're entitled to your opinion by all means, but realistically it will not happen because all killers must be able to follow certain ground rules in the game in order to be included, at best you could get something within xeno's kit that gives it the ability to kill someone without using a hook, but the hooking will always be an option for it to use no matter what.
If we're start bringing lore into the discussion, then the Xenomorph would submit to the Entity just like Demogorgon did. The Demogorgon is basically nothing more than an animal who's been cut off from the Mind Flayer's influence, it's basically just got a new owner now to be loyal to and obey.
The Xenomorph would be cut off from the rest of the actual Hivemind and the Entity could easily just make it obedient by fooling it into believing it's the Queen Mother it's obeying rather than the Entity, so lorewise it wouldn't be hard to justify why it's hooking people instead of just mauling them.

@illNicola said:

Alien is a must have, but as I said I don't see Alien hooking people. I see it brutally killing them. If they want to put Alien in dbd, they should rework the concept of "sacrifice" only for it, maybe he kill people with Facehugger and it's its way to "sacrifice" people.
A third Resident Evil chapter will be cool, but not this year. I'm a big fan of Resident Evil, but I don't want to see a Resident evil chapter every year.
I don't see Alien hooking people
Neither does Myers, Freddy, Pig, Ghostface, Demogorgon, Pyramid Head, Nemesis, Pinhead (at least not by carrying them to one), Sadako, Wesker or any of the legendary killer skins, yet that didn't stop them from coming into the game.
If we start changing core mechanics just to fit killers who don't originally hook people in their source material, dbd would no longer really be dbd anymore as hooks are part of it's identity and if we shouldn't bring in licenses who don't hook people originally in their source material because it would be unfaithful to their character, then almost no license would make it into the game.
These characters are just guest characters, we shouldn't try and change the game just to make their appearance 100% faithful at the expense of changing everything else, that's why compromises exist between how faithful you can get with the character while still not breaking or changing everything else.
-
@illNicola said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3375975#Comment_3375975
Why? These are all good licenses in my opinion.
Because imo, i don't want another resident evil chapter for a long time. Project W is as much Resident evil content as i can stomach for a while, a third dlc would be too much considering there are plenty of other licenses to collab with.
As far as Predator and Fnaf goes, i don't care about fnaf and while Predator is alright, i think there are other more important licenses to focus on.
Alien is definitely a must have and Dredge is our first taste at a true monster killer, i wanna see them expand into more original killers that stand out from the other characters like Dredge, like a vampire, spider, werewolf or any other horror archetype bhvr could make their own original version of.
-
I'll take an original chapter over any of those licenses you just mentioned, with perhaps the except of alien.
If it's another resident ######### evil chapter, it's gonna be my least favorite anniversary of all times.
-
Yeah that's a big no from me, hope i never get to see the old animations in-game again.

I can find in nearly every chase music the personality or theme from the killer.
Billy intense music like a chainsaw
Myers timeless classic sounds like from an old movie
Doctor Fizzeling, distracting sounds
Clown starting with circus music and you hear something big is coming, then the killer enters the arena
Spirit Mystic flute, bells then you hear the ghost
Legion Banger guitar is getting louder and finally arrives the scene
Ghostface has no calm entry and starting in the middle. Getting goosbumps. Something is watching. You hear it drom different directions. But he's is already behind you. Run!
Demogorgon Red Alert, Synthesizer
Oni Drums of War getting louder. Something is following with heavy walk. Your opponent is here.
Deathslinger abandoned western town, rattle snakes, distorted piano and harp. techno meets western
Pyramid Head Calm, crippling, bells, metallic sounds like the sword on the ground
Blight Something ancient lies here. it's coming near. Bam! The killer suddenly appears.
Twins Abandoned place, going deeper. giggling sounds paired with deeper guitar
Trickster Distorted futuristic, mechanic sounds. Urban disco.
Nemesis Empty streets, echoing screams from far away, something slowly approaching, It's your nemesis again, showdown music.
Hellraiser Calm music, Something is wrong here. Screams. Killer suddenly appears. metallic hammer sounds.
Artist Arrived in another world then Homage to classic horror music
Sadako A wide floor, dampening sounds, scratching nails, killer appears
Dredge Something lurks in there. Creepy
but
Hag is starting nice with the tribal drums but then it's going monotone.
Wesker great music but too loud, too intense, too much.
Skull Merchant First part nice calm, robotic sounds but then Drumnbase but in worse and everything at same time.
Every chase music except Skullmerchant:
Personally disagree on Hag and SM, however each to their own as all music tastes are subjective.

The only thing that deathslinger has was that quickscope, and they erased the only feature that make him unique... Without nothing in change to be considered worth of mention... Regarding maps it's subjective as you said, true, but you can't deny that the atmospheres of the maps now are a lot more brighter than once
That doesn't change the fact that alot of people didn't find his quickscope fun nor fair to go against and bhvr reacted accordingly to that feedback, whether or not bhvr did enough to compensate for him losing his quickscope is it's own discussion. Also i'd argue that Deathslinger takes more skill now to land a shot with than he did before.
Current maps may be brighter yes, but that does not necessarily make it a bad thing. imo i genuinely 100% prefer daytime coldwind with it's Texas Chainsaw Massacre aesthetics over the dull and boring brown aesthetics old coldwind had. I'd say the same for all the other reworked maps as well.

@Tostapane said:
nothing, i'm just becoming tired/upset of this game/company generally speaking since:
1 map rewok are even worse than their previous version, both aesthetically (the new maps doesn't even have a grim look like the old ones which were darker and more close to the horror atmosphere) and in terms of gameplay (they worsened the situations of the maps by adding stuff that wasn't necessary like breakable doors and despite they have SLIGHTLY nerfed some of the most broken loops in the game, they compensate by adding more pallets and window generally speaking)
2 nerfs to killers/perks that were without logic and no one asked (billy, deathslinger, selfcare, pharmacy, etc etc)
3 the blatant hypocrisy of the devs on certain arguments, both in game stuff and other things that i won't mention here for obvious reasons (you can easily guess tho)
4 they are more concerned about releasing skins than invest some of their resources into new mechanics/game mode and stuff for fighting cheaters (they did something, but that wasn't enough to be considered worth of mention, also do not forget that they opened the gates of hell when they released for free dbd on epic games store) and toxicity (all the proofs that i send to them via screenshots of people who were awfully mean by writing insults, slurs and death threats
wereare ignored and left unpunished)5 NFT stuff and other debatable decisions...
i wonder how people can still defend/appreciate a company like this one despite all those issues...
Except people were complaining about Deathslinger's quickscope on the forum rather frequently back then because Deathslinger players could just scope in and out constantly to force Survivors into a lose lose situation no matter what.
Also map rework being worse or better aesthetically will always be a subjectivity case.

The realm was created by the Entity, it doesn't make sense for it to look like a real world horror movie. It should look like a place you hope to escape, not hope to vibe at.
Trickser's design and story are more like a K-dating sim, and that may sound weird, but this generation and especially anime fans (not the same as K-pop but they can overlap) love the whole scary sadistic romance. I can tolerate Trickster tho, but Trickster + Skull Merchant? I feel like that's too much to ask lore wise.
I think there's a citation needed as to why she could go to the library get millions and get away with murdering other millionaires. I think by ignoring that part, you're setting your expectations too low as a player and consumer. She's not like a horror character at all to me, I mean her weapon, fair enough, but she still is based off more of a modded Fallout 4 raider, there was also I think a DC comic book character with almost the exact same visual design. I think MintSkull said she looked like a merc who had some military background.
You do keep saying there are more horrors than just dark and gloomy ones, well there's more to horror than just slashers too, also thrillers, and actions movies are not always horror. Trapper does seem like a very typical horror character to me tho... I think he's based on Jason. Blight is like this body horror zombie creature, and Demodog is from an actual horror series. He's like this alien creature that opens his head. He is pretty cute, but I can see how he's scary.
DBD already has rich people hunting humans sorta, Trapper. Trapper is also rich for a reason, he didn't just walk into a library and become a Gary Stu.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3370187#Comment_3370187
I guess I see what you're saying from a gameplay POV, but I still think there is no excuse to have relaxing happy daytime maps. I think people give the whole "It's normal from the outside, but when you look closer, it's scarrrryyyy" take when talking about DBD. Idc if there's a tree of dead cows, Coldwind is just not what it once was. It's just like a normal farm now. Rotten Fields doesn't look so rotten.
They could have had a really cool scifi killer, they had a cyborg! They could have done so much with it, but we really did get more of a Fallout aesthetic.
I am familiar with Death Garden, and I'm sorry to say it but that failed Bhvr game actually nailed the horror aesthetic better than Skull Merchant. It's not as flashy, a little more creepy, you can't see the faces as well, making them appear less human, which does add to horror. I would compare Joey from the Legion to Death Garden more than Skull Merchant, honestly.
As I mentioned in the comment, the realm is created by the Entity. I wouldn't compare it to a horror movie that is supposed to take place in the real world, even if our boi Bubba is included, in the realm it makes more sense for him to be in the creepiest darkest version of his home. Halloween's daytime moments were there as a build up, the climax took part at night.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3370209#Comment_3370209
I can't disagree, but at least it doesn't feel like you're playing Huntress. If you're playing Skull Merchant, you could be playing Knight, or Clown, or Artist, or any zoning killer.
@BabyShrimp said:
I've thought for a while that DBD has a bit of an aesthetic problem, but I think Skull Merchant really solidified it. I'm just gonna share my thoughts on it. Please feel free to comment what you think, maybe you think I'm wrong, that's okay. (Also if I'm writing in caps I'm not actually angry I'm just making a point that in my POV is obvious.)
Aesthetic is certainly an important part of a game. It helps set the tone and atmosphere, which obviously helps with the immersion. Horror games are no exception, I mean find me one person who likes horror, but doesn't like the vibes Silent Hill gives off. In fact, would Silent Hill 2 hit the same without it's lonely, creepy, liminal atmosphere? I don't think so.
Dead By Daylight had a creepy atmosphere at one point, I feel it's lost though. It's like the more it gets updated, the more mediocre, and normie it starts to feel. Dead By Daylight is literally a game about an eldritch being that sucks them into a realm so it can feed off their fear and hopelessness. The characters are literally faced with nightmarish killers in recreated horrifying places. Why should it not feel creepy, and grainy?
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/F8254ZPXPPDD/old-ormond.png
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/6K0OJDKAMV7A/old-rotten-fields.png
Here we can see some glimpses into older maps. As you can see, IT'S ACTUALLY NIGHT TIME AS IT SHOULD BE IN A GAME CALLED "DEAD BY DAYLIGHT"!!! Do they not look more sinister, more like a place you are motivated to escape? Do they not fit the feeling of a place that's like a horror movie with an actual killer? What happened?
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/LF1S3GZRBIL0/new-ormond.png
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/5AKQR8VZ1MJG/new-coldwind.png
WHY IS IT ALREADY DAYLIGHT?!?! WHY IS IT RELAXING?! The Legion is already not that intimidating, but they still fit DBD (IMO). The old Ormond was a cold, dark place, where this grungy, unhinged gang would hunt you down, and the old Coldwind, it was this eerie dark rotting field where a tragedy took place, and this maniac would chase you with a chainsaw. It's so bright now, so comforting, why? Lets get to the characters...
First of all, I don't mind a few gag skins, or more fancy skins, that's fine. I do have an issue with this.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/O32KM9FLPEH4/skullmerchant.png
Why is this modded Fallout 4 raider showing up alongside Leatherface, Michael Myers, The Doctor, or even The Huntress? I know the game isn't scary anymore, but there is nothing wrong with a moody horror aesthetic. A lot of people got into the game because they think it's cool to play as and against HORROR CHARACTERS! Why is it turning into Fortnite? We could have had a creepy deformed cyborg killer that actually fits the name "Skull Merchant" but instead we got millionaire Mary Sue manga lover...
Yes, I know the game isn't scary, I'm just focused solely on aesthetics and what fits the game and lore. What do you guys think? Again, I love hearing the rest of the community's thoughts. :D
"Do they not fit the feeling of a place that's like a horror movie with an actual killer?" VS "it doesn't make sense for it to look like a real world horror movie."
Please pick a lane and stick to it.

Let's see how to tackle this..
I guess let's start with Deathgarden: One of the last hunters they added to Deathgarden was a granny soldier with a grenade launcher called the Veteran and you could very much see her face. There was also the poacher whose scarred up mug was on proud display as well. Only the Inquisitor and the Stalker wore masks.
Entity realm creation: The Entity creates the realm based on what is in the survivors and killers' heads. It's also clearly stated that the entity doesn't have a contextual understanding of the human world in the same way as I we do. So why is there an expectation that it will have a preference over daytime or nighttime when those concepts seem wholly inconsequential compared to ritual of feeding off survivors? If we're going to lean heavily on lore then the switches from night to day on some maps is purely the entity either not caring or not knowing the difference between the two in context of the human mind.
Skull Merchant lore: First she didn't go to a library, she's obsessed with her father's mangas. She got to indulge in her degenerate weeb fantasies in the comfort of her own home, she's taking cosplay to the darkest level. A millionaire who gets away with killing other millionaires isn't that far fetched considering rich people have a long standing history of getting away brutal crimes against each other and even more so those who occupy any station below their own class. I get people don't think much of her lore cause it isn't exactly quality, but let's not be so disingenuous as to not respect what is there. She doesn't get caught because she's weird, but not dumb. She spends a considerable amount of time and money to stalk, kidnap, and then hunt down her targets in the wilderness rather than just mercing people at home. Also yeah, Trapper is rich, he's like 1800's mining family rich as opposed to 2023 new money rich and he also buried all of his workers in a mine collapse cause reasons.
Artist: Just take a moment to have a moan about Artist. This killer should not even exist considering her backstory actually makes no freaking sense for a killer to have! She's has the backstory of a survivor, a set of powers that legit amount to "haha, entity like bird!", and her actual gameplay is both annoying and hyper limited in ways that I would say are more egregious than Skull Merchant. It's one thing to have a silly backstory, but it is another to ask the reader to sit through a backstory where they show you an actual killer torturing someone only to kill him and then make the torture victim the entity's new killer. That makes no sense in the worst ways. At least Skull Merchant is the active party in her backstory and that is a million times more palatable than the hot mess of Artist.
Except they did expand upon Artist's backstory in one of the haddie tomes which adds more depth to Carmina's backstory overall.

I welcome the challenge.

It would make more sense for well lit areas to be threatening/dangerous if the lighting in the game actually lent to that. There's so many aura revealing perks it's kind of pointless to need to play on Coldwind, for instance, because of visibility. I LOVE the dynamic lighting of the upcoming TCM game, it looks legit spooky because the sheer contrast gives it more than just everything being dark blue. Dynamic lighting/shadows changes the experience insanely.
"As for Trickster, it doesn't really matter why they decided to make him, what matters is if he's a horror character- and he is, very much so. Same as Skull Merchant."
To this part, well, it's kind of the argument of "well he was made to be horror, so there you go, the end."
We can criticize intentions, especially if the intent is just to piggy back off what is current but then not do much else. SM is an example of the faults of piggy backing off the "Sex sells," energy and really falling flat. SM is bad design, part of the overarching aesthetic/design direction that the game has been facing.
The fact that you shrug Trickster off simply because he's kpop related is not only funny, but it also tells me that your views on horror are quite frankly narrow.
Literally go watch horror movies like The Neon Demon, Blood Rage, American Psycho or Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. The killers in all those movies all falls into the same catagory of murder type as Trickster does. A killer who hides behind a facade of normality but is twisted and unstable on the inside.
Trickster being kpop related means Jack sh!t when his lore and mannerism clearly reflects and shows that he is a psychopath and a horror character.

At first i played Doctor mostly, his ability to stop Survivors from looping was extremely satisfying especially when you cut off someone right before they vault.
Currently it's sitting between Artist and Leatherface. Artist for her sniping ability with her birds which you can pull some sick trick shots off with, Leatherface because he's direct and straight to the point and with Lightborn, Bamboozle, Starstruck, and Spirit Fury, no one is gonna try anything funny unless they wanna end up on the ground as well.

Even if they have to tune down for the level of gore to avoid the game from getting banned in some countries, i'm still hoping for Art's inclusion one day.

I actually really like her chase track, i think it's pretty bop.

Nah, i much prefer the full screams since they're more natural than the screams getting cut off prematurely.

SCOURGE HOOK: LORD OF THE DEAD
At the start of the Trial, 4 random Hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks:
- The Auras of Scourge Hooks are revealed to you in white.
Each time a Survivor is hooked on a Scourge Hook, the following effects apply:
- You gain the Undetectable Status Effect until the Survivor is unhooked
- If a Survivor is sacrificed on the Scourge Hook, the 3 closest hooks to it will permenantly emit Terror Radius to all Survivors who's within 32 meter from any of them.
Each time a Survivor is unhooked from a Scourge Hook, the following effects apply:
- Your Terror Radius is copied over to both the unhooked Survivor and the Survivor who unhooked them for the next 60 seconds.
- Any healing or repair skill checks performed by the afflicted Survivors will cause loud noise notifications to appear to you for the next 20 seconds.
HEX: OBLIVION
Whenever a Survivor is sacrificed or killed by any means, any totem that has been blessed by that Survivor becomes corrupted and is turned into a Hex Totem as well as increasing the range of the totem's radius itself from 24 meters to 72 meters.
All Survivors who enters the radius of said Hex Totem will be afflicted by the opposite effect of what the Boon Totem's original benefit was.
- Boon: Circle of Healing = Suffer from a Healing Speed penalty by 50%
- Boon: Dark Theory = Suffer from the Hindered Status Effect by 2%
- Boon: Exponential = Becomes unable to self-recover regardless of perks.
- Boon: Shadow Step = Survivors leaves scratch marks regardless of how they move and their aura is revealed to you for 5 seconds when within the totem's radius whenever a Survivor gets hooked.
RAVAGER
Whenever you carry a Survivor, Ravager activates. Any Survivor that gets hit from a basic attack will also injure every other Survivor who's within 12 Meter from you as well.
Survivors who takes a Protection Hit while the perk is active will be afflicted with the Deep Wound Status Effect.

Okay? You want a medal or something?
Like why do you need to announce it to us like it's some brave and stunning thing to do instead of just doing it?
-
Beating the dead horse even harder i see.

Seriously, they don't pay that broken washing machine enough for all the work it's putting in!
About as hilarious & original as the ''I came'' joke is.
