It happens more than you think if you go against altruistic teams, someone who really wants mom stacks or endgame starts also how do you even get into a situation where a killer body blocks you
If you are to a point where 1 surv is really bothering you in endgame with body blocks then its on you, and if you have more than 1 other surv, thats also on you. Your skill is inherently countering theirs.
-
Kill this thread already, it is obviously not a bias but in fact a buff. Let real topics show up.

Endgame body blocking Especially with borrowed time results in a free escape not to mention swf hook bodyblocking it's terrible depending on how far you go to a hook or it'll deny a basement hook
you mean the less than 10%< of the match where our bodyblocking is still nowhere near as good as a killers? Yeah.

Bodyblocking feels bad when it happens to you, but it's entirely your fault you didn't use your movement to avoid the situation
Considering its completely different for killer vs survs, so no. Not really.

She sucks at certain loops. She spent an entire gen chasing me at an unsafe pallet, then another at the shack and couldn't do anything.
I know she should've just left me for someone else, but the fact she can get looped AT THE SHACK is a bit ridiculous, given what her power is.
Sorry bro, that means you arent playing her right. She excels there. That's a YOU problem.
-
Less dedicated hits, and hitboxes matching the weapons animations. Tired of getting hit by air.
-
No, I think that is a terrible Idea. She is already strong. Why the buff?

If they have DS by endgame that's the killer's choice.
Putting a trap under a bodyblocked survivor is not an intended mechanic. It is a result of the mechanics but there is a difference.
-
Not me, lol. I hate being forced to play a certain way, especially if its detrimental as a whole.

I found as clown and spirit I got a ton of hits that surprised me. With hag, not so much.
I get it on every killer, and I know how it looks from the other side and still get frustrated when playing killer, lol.

Trapping yourself in a corner isnt the killers fault
Abusing mechanics is, however.

I play both at red ranks, killer is too easy in my opinion. At least compared to survivor. The hitboxes are very insane with how the servers are right now. So many hits that shouldnt hit...

Infinite looping no longer exists, but there's still a good number of God windows that spawn pretty frequently. If the killer your looping is a Huntress, then they can still be infinite. These loops don't really take much skill to do properly and are pretty hefty cheese.
If you got bodyblocked, then that's your fault man. Work on movement
If you are getting infinitely looped as huntress, you yourself need to work on pathing. I do more than just fine with her and the "god windows" you speak of. And before you ask, yes red ranks all day every day.
-
Gen rushing isnt real, its called playing the game. Infinite looping doesnt exist. Etc?
Try being bodyblocked by a trapper and then having a trap set under you so he can 1 hit. Yeah, theres a massive difference from how douchey killers can be vs how survs can be. Remember, you are the killer. You have the tools to do anything you want. Survs dont.

Im definently Not. I run onis around like nothing, even in fury. Survivor mains like Ussilys himself laughs about oni and says how dogshit he is now.
Sorry to break it down to you bud: your great matches were just against some potatoes. I can kill potatoes with one hand aswell.
I guess consistent kills in red ranks means nothing then lol.

You're getting really heated about this. What is it about getting better at a game that seems so impossible to you? Nobody has to pour ungodly amounts of hours into something just to improve. You're creating a strawman while ignoring the fact that the loss was your own fault. Seriously, take the loss and move on. We all have hard games.
You are doing nothing but trying to aggrivate people and divert attention from the actual topic, how about staying ON topic.

"A rank 12 nurse has no chance against rank 3 survivors". Perhaps it's just you who has no chance against them.
I play in red ranks. Do you know how often I see green and purple rank killers (even clowns) ######### on my whole team of OTHER red rank survivors and I'm forced to get hatch or just beg to be hooked? I get that the ranking system is bad, but you had a disconnect (an uneven game), and were facing survivors, regardless of their rank, with awful perks, while you on the other hand had all the standard crutch perks. If you think rank directly translates to skill, you are delusional. It's an indication of experience, not skill. Most of my team mates (I play solo only) at red ranks, who are red ranks, are urban evading immersed turds. Saying rank = skill in anything beyond rank 12 is like saying devotion = skill. No. Both are purely experience.
So no, it's *you* who makes no sense to me. You're just making up excuses. You're complaining about things where the only issue is you needing to get better. But hey, whatever you need to tell yourself to justify your loss.
You think that experience doesnt matter in this game? Is that what you are saying?
Im in red ranks too but that doesnt mean I automatically think everyone is as good as me. Also you are absolutely ignoring the main topic trying to divert the conversation. Its about ######### matchmaking, not whether or not they lost. It IS fustrating when you are a lower ranks and you play against red ranks. I have been there so I understand.
-
You know what's funny, jerk killers are the reason why survs try so hard and vice versa. But killers have much more ability to be toxic than survs.
-
Trapper is pretty good imo, I have trouble seeing the traps but maybe its my eyesight.
Its about putting them in loop areas and then chase the survs into those areas, it works but get 6 in 1 game? That is definitely a dumb mission. A lot of these missions should have been looked at before it was released. They even had extra time to look at them because of the delays but...
-
I very rarely dc, but I have done it before.

Imagine actually caring about ranks. Ranks doesnt mean anything. Killers mainly do that because high rank for killers is literally annoying. Everyone gens rush, flashlight and septics. So to have the edge you just do those. I personally dont cause i like people to have fun, also the reason i dont care about ranks and also why sometimes i dont kill unless toxic behaviour. So just dont care about ranks, depip and enjoy like medium ranks. You meet better killer who well are better than most. rank 1 killers and are fun. Also most killers arent like that. Some are just toxic and like people to be salty. Best thing is just depip and have fun but try nor to be too toxic
Maybe ranks dont, but getting about 10k points for running the killer around for 5 gens is absolutely abhorrent.
-
@GHOSTfaceP3 said:
What is this? I run the killer around for the whole game then get camped till death the ranking system really needs to be reworked
Welcome to the club, we should be hailed as heroes but are only poor farmers. (10k points average for me if that lol.)

Same for a bit of the surv missions. Some od them are pure luck and I hate that. I dont mind grind.

@danielmaster87 said:
I'm afraid that's not the case. As killer I'm constantly getting robbed of hits at windows, and then the auto aim kicks in at pallets, and 360ing is still a thing because either the game whiffs or auto aim screws it up. These should not be problems in a melee-attack based game. I came to kill, not play football, having to deal with mindgame jukes and crap.
Im sorry to say, that might just be your skill as a killer. I almost never miss swings. And yes, I do play in red ranks. For 360's just stand still and turn around lol.
-
I end up in a lot situations where I havent been hooked but the killer avoids me until the end or if im the last person alive since I ran him around so hard. I should have a chance to jump off or at least struggle. It isnt fair that killers can draw out the game for no reason and we cant get our 15 seconds of struggle. Its ridiculous.
-
Wraith, he has little to no counterplay with his ability. I wish he was like other disappearing killers where he is intangible until he pops back up. I hate accidentally running into him because hes so hard to see or even body blocked into a corner and just have to stand there while they uncloak. Its cheap.
-
@Gesteppie said:
To be fair, there are SOME hit boxes that just don't seem right. Particularly if the visual aspect of a terrain object does not reflect its hit box. I get clipped on corners so often because in the heat of a chase I'm not worried about that little bit of invisible corner that has... DAMN it just slowed me down because I got caught on it! >:(
This really. The actual hitboxes dont match the terrain boxes so the same corner I got stuck on doesnt block a hit. Its so janky and damn near impossible to judge.
-
@Pulsar said:
It will end when you accept that the hitboxes are fine. Latency is likely what you are experiencing.
It is good to remember that for every hit it looks like the Killer didn't hit, there was probably one that he thought should've hit.
I play killer very often, in the red ranks. Lots of hits should definitely never ever in a million years hit. This wasnt so bad before the servers.

No, I uploaded the right clip. I play enough Nurse to know that this definetely should have hit. Even accounting dedicated servers shortening her lunge by 50%.
You are foolishly wrong, servers actually add up to 15% radius hitbox depending on how the server is doing never less than 10% extra.
-
@ABannedCat said:
In the first one, you can see that Bill barely was in my FOV when I got the hit, and in the second one, the Meg was a good few steps away from me when I got the hit. That's because all killers's basic attacks have the same range. Doesn't matter if its Spirit's Katana, or Legion's knife, they all behave the same. That's to make picking up new killers easier.
Even if it is, it is entirely misleading. Killer like clown, freddy, hag and pig seem way off because of their weapon size, just make the weapons match the hitbox. It's all I'm asking for.

You don't play alot of killer, I see.
Here are 2 instances of normal working as intended hits I got today:
I play much more than you can imagine, its no fun. I hit people from 10m away too. Plus huntress hatchets are horrendous.

It seems people constantly forget it can be used only once... (ds)

I know right??? I still get ghosthits, where my weapon litterally goes through the survivor, and no hit gets registered.
That's not through lmao, if anything its actually working for once in that instance. You don't get free hits just because you swung.
-
I don't use any cheap crosshair pasted onto my screen, learn to know where the middle of your screen is.
She is easy as ######### especially with fast wind up times and instadowns with ultra rare.

im asking for removal of keys in chest not reduce chances in blood web plus that wouldn't do anything since some people have hundreds of keys and moris already
you are removing chances for keys, think about it. It doesnt matter if people have already collected thousands or millions of them its about actual rarity not the ######### rarity devs use to distinguish addons and items.
-
if they are gonna lower key possibilities then mories needs to not be in every bloodweb for killers.

The wiggle bar is there to keep the killer from carrying a survivor all over the map, taking them to the basement every time. That's its purpose.
If killers start having a lot of trouble getting survivors to hooks because the wiggle bar is changed, then killers will just slug everyone. I've had slugged survivors literally crawl to a hook, which gives me the impression that a lot of players don't find bleeding out for four minutes fun. You don't want something like the wiggle bar to be too effective.
Killers are so fast they can basically be dragged across the map to the basement. It is hardly ever effective and getting 20 bp from struggling every second is crap. A forced mechanic with no real advantage.
The point is, the killers have extreme leeway when it comes to wiggle. running past 4 hooks and into the basement shouldnt be ok by any means. I just want to be able to actually jump off when it hits 100% the 1 in the entire ######### year it happens.
-
@BigWeeWee said:
I see your point, but I think the main reason of wiggling is less denying the killer a hook but denying them a certain hook position that would go in their favour such as the basement or a hook out in the open
If the killer is in the middle of most maps or even near it they can get to the basement just fine. They have enough time and speed. Though I do get it, 100%'ing a wiggle bar should trump hook mechanics otherwise the hook mechanic renders it useless as it is now. (It also doesnt help hooks are like 30 metres from each other so even if you sabo, you need to sabo like 5 hooks to have a chance.)
-
This guy, Reason? Just look at him!
-
If you are stressing on killer games, you need to reframe how easily stressed out you are. Sure maybe 1 out of 15 will be stressing but its pretty much easy money every match.
-
32, because doing missions are impossible if all the killers camp me for running them around.

I only escape about 1 in 4 games though. I should have to "learn better pathing and mindgaming" BEFORE I get to this level, most people I play with are so obviously better than me we shouldn't be in the same rank.
This is when you learn, if you got this far without, then you yourself are lacking. Not the grading itself. Either you a hatch only solo or you have good qualities for survivor, bank on it.
-
@Frey said:

They just need to make it significantly harder to rank up. I'm one of those "bad survivors" at red ranks. I don't want to be here. I can't loop properly and make lots of dumb mistakes leading to losses, but I still pip. Short of actually throwing there's no real way for me to depip.
If you are not having trouble pippin in red ranks, you belong. That's how they work. Learn better pathing and mindgaming, and only focus in these.

@T2K said:
the thing is that the killer will always pick you up with no mither. No mither alone makes no sense, you need to use other perks that have synergy. For example DS.
Btw the most fun build imo is swf with full no mither sabo. Try it and let your mind be changed. wooooshhhhhhhh
If you all have sabo, you dont need mither, it doesnt help. At all.
-
@Waffleyumboy said:
You're not wrong, but I don't see why a joke perk would be top priority.
It shouldn't exist at all at this point.
-
@ASpazNamedSteve said:
I don't understand why people aren't okay with a perk like this existing, not everything is designed to be meta.
It's super unique, and although mostly a downside, can be used for stuff like permanent Resilience/This is Not Happening, being completely unslug-able, and doing silly Sabo strats. Or just giving yourself a challenge if you want it.
Also with Dead Hard you actually become stronger vs instadown abilities.
Not a good perk, but maybe the most unique in the entire game.
because killers dont have such a downside by any means. They are all intended to help in one way or another and this one is just almost all downside.
