Kind of hard to help considering I dont know what exactly you mean. Mind games could literally be anything.
Best advice is to practice in 1v1's to improve on your ability to chase

Its not like kicking 2 gens is hard to do, also as some one pointed out: 10% haste and undetectable for 30 seconds is a REALLY strong effect.

That survey asked if cosmetics themed around creators (much like the current charity case) would be something were interested in. Considering the last one we got was in 2017 I wouldnt mind another

I think its dependent of the player, like I will use your example, when I hit a flick with blight I feel like I am cracked, or when I manage to get a hug tech (which is like 4 times total, since I suck at blight), but whrn I hit a curve as billy all thats in my head is "this survivor messed up badly, if they were good this shouldnt have happened".
Same happens for a win, when I win as blight I feel like each time I am building towarda becoming a stronger blight player, however when I win as billy my only tought is "good lord I didnt face good player or they would have stomped me"
You know the worst part, because people said billy is more fun and takes more skill I dedicated my time to learning billy, so I can curve pretty consistently and do some cool plays, yet I HATE it, each time I do something cool as billy I wonder why I didn't spend my time learning blight (also because I like blight aestethics WAY more) but learning billy for like a year I can say at least for me: I wasted my time and would have rather learned blight instead, because I am a horrible blight player and I hate being one.
I mean yeah it will always depend on the player/person. To pick a character because others told you they're fun doesn't mean you're obligated to have fun with them. When Billy was at his peak I didnt bother learning him because he didnt really interest me at the time, I was more focused on killers like Trapper, Wraith or Spirit
Also the payoff comes in the form of actually going against skilled players, since you can beat 99% of groups in pubs with basically any killer.

I like singularity, in fact he is one of my mains, but think about this, why play a killer that requires much more effort for a lesser reward.
Like I play him because I like the camera aspect of his power but he is a billy type of issue, there is no reason to play billy because blight exists, blight rewards your skill, billy requires too much skill for little payoff, same as singularity, but he has the added factor of survivors being able to turn off your power, which will deter any new player from using him.
Because the payoff feels so much more rewarding when playing a character that doesnt hold your hand for the majority of the match.
When I play Blight I dont feel like I won, I feel like he did. When I play Billy, I feel like the outcome of that match was mainly because of my decisions and overall skill with him.

It seems like a dumb rule al though it makes sense
There have been several bugs through out the years that have only affected one Survivor in particular. Most recent one being Leon and aiming a FL being lower than normal.
Other notable examples being Ace being almost completely silent upon release (yes even quieter than he is now) and also several cosmetic glitches affecting only some Survivors. (Nea having a tail no matter what shirt you were wearing is one that comes to mind)
Bugs like these are more than likely going to happen on new Survivors for obvious reasons, and its better safe than sorry
-
Just use the toggle setting
-
He's not badly designed, hes just hard to learn and play since theres no other killer like him
Reason why no one is playing him is because if a killer isnt easy and doesnt give immediate results, most people just think theyre garbage

Another thing is to have a sort of weight system to add ons which would also factor into matchmaking. Wanna bring a 4 stack with BNP's? Be prepared to face a killer with the same caliber of add ons.
This would require locking in survivor builds before queuing up for a lobby. Which would stifle survivor coordination.
It would also require more accurate matchmaking, which we all know is dialled back in the name of faster queues.
In my almost 6k hours of playing, Ive never seen anyone coordinate in a Solo Q lobby when it comes to items
-
Dont exactly know what this achieves
I could post screenshots of me winning 10 games in a row as various killers, doesnt mean the game is killer sided (or in this case survivor sided) just means that matchmaking is dogshit
-
Feels terrible until you learn how to play him, just like the other high skill floor killers

The problem is that all those things, stacked on all 4 survivors + strong items, make good survivors unbeatable which should not be possible in a balanced game.
I you guys are happy with the current state of the game, fine, do not wonder why queue times in the evenings are longer and longer. Killers will avoid to play in the evening as the trials are awful for them at that time.
If were comparing 4 strong Survivors with strong items and meta builds against a casual killer then yeah odds are stacked against the killer. Flip it around how ever, and have a killer with strong add ons and a meta build against a group of solos/casuals and all of a sudden the odds are stacked heavily against the survivors. If both are on an even playing field how ever, the only thing that can make it lean towards one side more than the other is the map which will always be an issue since not every killer can work on every map.
This is why Ive suggested this many times, which is adding map pools to the game to avoid things such as Billy on Lery's, or Myers on Coldwind.
Another thing is to have a sort of weight system to add ons which would also factor into matchmaking. Wanna bring a 4 stack with BNP's? Be prepared to face a killer with the same caliber of add ons.
The game is actually way more balanced than people give it credit, its just these 2 main things that really need fixing to have more consistency across games without completely ruining the "unknown" factor of the game.

all of these things have 1 thing in common: theyre strong tools for survivors... and while there can be strong tools for both sides... survivors are a large part of the equation
just remove survivor, problem solved
-
Depends on the map really. If the map is full of safe loops theres no real need to cleanse since shes an M1 killer who has nothing to aid her in chase. If the map is more barren how ever, its a better idea to cleanse since you can use the first hit speed boost to gain distance towards a safer place
-
So what youre telling me, is that everyone who never played a game of Sadako in their life saying shes weaker ARE WRONG???

Allow me to explain.
Chase Sadako does not care about building Condemned, they just care about getting hits/downs/hooks through chasing.
- Teleporting; TPing was used specifically to try and get hits by cutting off the Survivors or using the speed boost at a loop to get a hit. The cooldown removes a lot of the fluidity that Sadako had with her Teleports, and with Condemned applying to all Survivors, it is more likely that the TV you need is disabled by a Survivor.
- Manifest/Demanifest mindgaming is safer for Survivors than before, since it removes Bloodlust and windows can be vaulted without Entity Blocking, many loops that were once playable are no longer playable just from the single change alone (mainly because of the lack of Entity Blocking).
- Her chase related addons got a huge nerf, Reiko's Watch (an addon that Chase Sadako REALLY relied on) allowed for huge skill expression and let Sadako's down people at loops more consistently, it got nerfed to the point to where it's not even worth using anymore.
- Chase Sadako was pushed as a "dead playstyle" this patch since the optimal way to play Sadako is just spamming teleports and interrupting tapes, combine this with all the nerfs. Why play for hooks when you can just gets 1 Kill early into the match via Condemned?
- The "inability to stun" Sadako while Demanifested is such a non-change considering the fact that many experienced players will just not drop the pallet until Sadako is Manifested, rather it be running around a loop an extra time or waiting a pallet for her to actually Manifest, especially when you can already walk through her and she cannot hit you while Demanifested.
So yea. Chase Sadako, as a playstyle, got gutted this update. She is undoubtedly stronger than before the update, BUT the main issue I have is that she is pretty much forced into the Condemned playstyle since you are shooting yourself in the foot for trying anything other than it.
-Teleporting to a TV back to back like that only really had one purpose and thats to apply Condemned really quickly. You also have the downside of wasting all that youve got in an area leaving you with nothing for your next few chases.
-As some one who sort of adopted a playstyle of chase Sadako, doing Demanifesting mindgames at high wall loops is basically the same as doing red stain mindgames since they couldnt see you behind a wall to begin with
-Reiko's Watch didnt increase her skill ceiling, just made Demanifesting mindgames easier to pull off since you didnt need to time it as well
-Chase Sadako was a dead playstyle since March 2022. It was always just a gimmick
-You cant react to a Sadako whos about to 99% her Manifest, it has to be a read similar to Wraith
If anything, the playstyle is stronger since now you actually pressure other Survivors while chasing and have easier access to your TV's. The only negative is she feels a bit worst/clunkier to play because of the cooldown.

I think my issue personally is I played her for the chase.
Teleporting for cut-offs, Manifest/Demanifest Mindgames, etc, of which got gutted this update.
I can understand Teleporting get nerfed with the Condemned changes, but removing her ability to handle chases with basekit/addon nerfs seems a bit too much.
I hate how the playstyles I enjoyed got gutted while Condemned got heavily buffed.
What do you mean it got gutted?? That part of her kit if anything got stronger since now even if the Survivor sees a TP coming and double back they get Condemned anyway, AND the entire team gains Condemned as well.
Manifest/Demanifest mindgames are quite literally the same as the only thing theyve changed in that regard is not being able to be stunned while Demanifested, and she also got some new add ons that help her out (Such as Telephone)
The only thing that really got gutted, was the old Condemned playstyle that basically required 2 add ons.
-
god i wish... so much potential
-
Shes in the same boat as Oni. Not only do you need to have a higher level of understanding playing just an M1 killer but you need to find a proper rhythm to make proper use of her power
It amazes me that people immediately jumped the gun and claiming that she got nerfed when shes at the very least high B tier.
-
The visuals and music were great, the cosmetics of the event were decent, the gameplay how ever was just repairing specific gens and hooking on event hooks.
All in all it wasnt really that great of an event and I think most people are either just blinded by nostalgia or remember just how many good changes were coming out around that time and associate it to the event for some reason
-
Coldwind?
Sadako?
Perk buffs?
Must've been the wind
-
For everyone saying "its used in comp", there are many perks that are used in comp or are outright banned despite being widely regarded as niche and/or bad because of the different rulesets. It might as well be its own game
In the case of Deli, its still a very strong perk but it benefits SWF way more than Solo. Assuming you actually have a solo team that is competent, at least one of your teammates is going to come and attempt a rescue since they dont know what youre running. In that case its actually better to let them unhook (as long as theyre not being chased and the killer is far away) to not suffer from that 60 sec Broken.

Myers and Fred are nowhere near the bottom of the tier list. Especially Tombstone Myers. Then again OnePumpWillie has shown us that nor is Sadako when used "correctly".
When you take add ons into consideration, especially the strongest add ons, no killer can be considered bottom tier

1 Thats the point of breaking LOS, to force the LOS blink. Now shes only got one blink, no room for error. Thats where the mindgames come in. Fakes, double backs, triple backs, double/triple back fakes, 360s, that thing you you run around objects, the list goes on.
2 Thats a bad argument. Saying "you cant mindgame a good nurse" is just a cop out. If shes not getting mind game by you, shes outplaying you. That means she is the better player. You absolutely can mindgame a good nurse anyway. Breaking los+wacky movement+everything else=counterplay.
3 her map mobility is some of the worst in the game.
Nurse moves at 3.85m/s. In blink its 13.33m/s. Nurses only blink for mobility when they have 2 charges, its more efficient.
2s to charge, moving at 2.89m/s. 5.78m while charging. then you move through the blink at 13.33m/s for 1.5s. 19.995m during blink. The the 2s fatigue while moving at 0.96 gets you 1.92m. Then you move at 3.85 while you wait for your next blink for 1 more second, 3.85m.
5.78+19.995+1.92+3.85=33.285m per cycle of this. The overall time each cycle takes is 8 seconds. 33.285/8 is 4.160625. Im just gonna round that to 4.16. So effectively, nurses mobility is like moving at 4.16m/s if we're talking just map traversal. Actually slower than your typical m1 killer. Nurses map mobility is only broken when using campbells last breath.
Some of the worst map mobility in the game. m1 killers traverse quicker than she does.
You can post your math all you want, but saying she has some of the worst mobility in the game is just flat out wrong. Her mobility is the reason why shes so strong in chase and thats because she completely ignores obstacles in the way.
While a normal killer would have to walk around a bunch of junk to reach the Survivor, Nurse just phases right through them at a much faster speed than walking. Another thing that makes her have one of the best mobility killers in the game is the ability to blink through floors which saves a MASSIVE amount of time.
Nothing in this game can be broken down by math alone. Theres always other factors to take into consideration.

I slug for 4ks quite often and it's never out of spite. But why should I be happy about a 3k when I can have the 4k instead? It's more points for me. Quite a few more actually. And it also might make a difference in how high up I get in terms of grades this month.
When someone refuses to end the match, that is hardly the same as trying to get the best results possible. I am sorry that that happened to you but that has very little to do with going for a 4k instead of a 3k. As a survivor, would you not try to get that poor guy off the hook in the end game when you have the chance? There is no reason to why you shouldn't try.
The difference between slugging for a 4k and getting a guy off the hook in endgame, is theres actual risk to go for a save.
Theres no risk in slugging a guy and looking for the last one at 3 gens left

Playing for the best possible outcome is for your ego? I think you missunderstand the point of this game. Survivors try to survive, killers try to kill. Why would a killer go for a 3k when they can just as easily get the 4k?
Its like asking why do Survivors stand at the exit gate. The killer at this point has already won and there is no real incentive to go for the 4k other than to piss off the other side which btw, they cant do anything about unless they have a perk
Most times that I go against a killer who slugs for the 4k, its out of spite. Had a Wraith yesterday who just refused to hook my teammate and made the game go on for an extra 15 minutes. I couldnt play any longer because I had to get ready for work so I just vaulted in and out of a locker so he could get it over with. Wanna know what he did? Stand there and nod.
I have countless situations that have happened as well and I dont even play Survivor that much, this is just the most recent.

For as long as I can remember there have been bots that simply just stand still and swing for the entirety of the match.
