That's the hairdo I had on Kate, that I thought was so pretty. I don't like the new one much.

The same could be said of killers. Sometimes I wish they'd just chill a bit. I got in a match today on the Raccoon map and I really wanted to explore it a bit. No such luck. The killer slaughtered us.

Naturally, Nurse is a rare sight and has always been due to her annoyingly hard ability to master that should already see a major workover to let everyone enjoy playing her instead of high-skilled Nurse mains, I think.
Hillbilly really is not a bad killer, but ever since his debuff update, everyone seemed to stay away from playing him even though he operates just like before, only with not being able to spam his chainsaw anymore, which was never an issue in the first place. Anyway, people just seemed to have forgotten this Killer for some reason, including myself, but I do enjoy playing him.
Trickster needs no explanation. He just sucks, always has. And despite his recent buff, he still performs terribly in red ranks against skilled survivors who understand the game to a point where he is being constantly T-bagged and bullied for how easy he is to avoid in a chase. No wonder everyone stays away from playing him, not even I dare to play Trickster even for laugh and giggles simply because he is just not fun to play as. No hard feelings for any Trickster mains out there. More power to you if you enjoy playing him.
What Killers you have not seen in your matches for a long time, and what Killers you do often tend to see? Let's discuss.
I've seen all 3 of those killers today. Maybe it's the rank you're at. I'm not at a high rank. I've seen nurses several times. And hillbilly and Trickster once today.

I forgot to mention Feng. Yes, I had a cute look for Feng. I had the ballerina and I liked it because it looked cute and feminine. Now she looks sort of butch.

Because Kate has a beautiful backstory and is a really great character. But I am so beyond disappointed.
I've sunk so much money into her. Countless hours, millions of blood points, and now I have to start over with a new character. I only have a small handful of other characters who I bothered getting to prestige 3. I have barely any paid cosmetics on other characters... I think I'm going to switch to Nea but I feel so discouraged by the money I'm going to have to sink into her to buy her some cosmetics that I like and the tedious grind of getting her to Kate's level of perk options. End rant!
Is anyone else feeling this way? Is anyone else changing their main because they feel they've been ruined by the update? Let's wallow in our wasted time and money together! 😅 As always take care and happy gaming, everyone! <3
I feel your pain. I wrote a big, long post in answer to what you're saying here. I went to edit a misspelled word and my whole post disappeared. :(
Anyway, I've mained Claudette for years, but her changes are so ugly. I always thought she was such a cutie pie, but they've ruined her. I had the one where she had the big hair, no glasses and makeup. I thought she looked so pretty like that. That's no longer the case, they've changed her to look just plain ugly. And her new mannerisms in the lobby don't help.
I bought a cute hairdo for Kate, but that's completely changed and is not attractive.
I may change my main to Nea, Meg, Kate or maybe Zarina. But I don't like the noises that Zarina makes when she's injured. I also wish they'd come up with a cuter hairdo for Zarina. They seem to love the hair long on one side, yet short on the other. Not a fan.

I think keys are fine. A nice bonus, because many times when you're the last survivor, killer finds the hatch first. Game over, after that... at least from my point of view. So, I feel a key in a chest would be a happy surprise.

YES! I feel your pain. I have mained Claudette for years. I had all kinds of cute outfits on her that I liked. She's so ugly now and I hate it. They ruined Claudette. With the cosmetics I put on her, I really thought she was the cutest of all the survivors. Not anymore. I can't stand to play her anymore. I wish we could have an option of the new Claudette or the old Claudette. That would make me happy. On the old Claudette, I liked the poofy hair, no glasses and makeup look. That's how I usually played her and I thought it was adorable. They ruined it with her new face and now she looks like a hag. Ugh.

I'm trying to figure out who I want to be my new main. I might of picked Feng, but they ruined her as well. I'm thinking maybe Nea, Meg or Kate. Possibly Zarina, but I don't really like the sounds she makes when she's injured. And what's up with the long hair on one side look. They really overuse it in DBD and I'm not a fan. Give me a cute hairdo for Zarina, please.

You have to be careful when farming, not to down the survivor that was just rescued, otherwise the survivor that did the rescue won't get credit for it. I've had a few killers who were farming do that. They don't realize that survivors won't get credit for the save if they don't give it a minute

I hate going to the cage, because it messes me up in keeping track of my hooks. That's why I always try to avoid stepping in the stuff he lays down.
I'm not sure of the phases either, so I'm curious to hear what others say.

I don't play a lot of killer, but I can tell you what would make it more fun for me. I would rather survivors not gen rush. I just feel so stupid as a killer when that happens.
Don't blind me... I dislike it. I've started using lightborn to avoid it.
One more thing that would make it more fun for me... don't sabo a hook, when I'm carrying a survivor to it. It was likely a long fought chase and I feel like I really deserve the hook.
I really prefer to eventually let the survivors escape, but I do like to try to hook everyone at least once.

I was a Claudette for years, but I hate how they changed her.
I'm trying out Meg. I'm not sure yet. Maybe Meg, Nea, or Kate.
I rarely play killer, but when I do, I'd say Blight. I'm really liking him right now.

I had a killer thank me once, for letting them hit me down at the exit. They said, thanks for the extra points, so they could safety pip. I don't tea bag or click flashlights at the end. But, if they're there, I'll pause to get one last hit in. If they don't act like they're going to do that, though, I just leave.
One time, when I let them hit me down, my character did a complete flip in the air, back inside the gates. I almost didn't think I'd be able to crawl out, before he could pick me up. Yikes, that was close, so I try to be more careful now with it. :)

I don't like the map, because I have such a hard time saving people. I can't find them. The map does LOOK cool though.

They ruined my main Claudette. She's hideous. I've played her for almost 3 years. I have so many cosmetics for her.
I also don't like how they changed Kate. I used to have such a cute look with Kate. I think I even bought her hairdo that I thought made her look the best. She looks totally different now. Why? But at least she's not hideous, like Claudette. I can't even play Claudette anymore. I've switched to Meg, because Meg looks a bit better.
I think Dwight looks horrible as well. The one that was a huge improvement is Jake. I used to struggle with finding a cosmetic to make Jake look good. I finally got one a few months ago and now it's not really needed. He looks so much better with many of his different heads.
I also think that Nea looks a bit better, no problem there. If only, they hadn't changed my Claudette... I can't with her anymore. Even her new mannerisms in the lobby are awful.

New Claudette is hideous. She has been my girl and my favorite. I've mained her for almost 3 years now. I can't play her anymore. I need to find a new survivor. She was always such a cutie pie and I loved her.

What makes a match fun for me is when the killer doesn't tunnel or slug. I don't want the killer to be constantly after me. If you hook me, then please try to get someone else and not try to hook me immediately after.
I'd like a chance to play the game. Slugging is the same. There's not much I can do flat on the ground. Boring.

I have another one. Don't wait until I've run across the map to save you and then right before I reach you, you try to unhook yourself. If it works that one time (which I've had happen), then I've wasted my time and I think that's kind of selfish.

I guess I would say to the other survivors the same thing I saw others say. Please don't unhook me in front of the killer, or when the killer is hot on your tail. That's number one.
And number two, please stop running around leaving scratch marks like a maniac, while I'm trying to be careful. Run somewhere else, far away from me.

I play solo and when I get a team that seems to be a swf, it seems like I'm an afterthought to them. Sometimes I'll see them going out of their way to rescue time and time again, but when I get hooked, it's another story.

First off, I'm not a real good survivor anyway, but I do adjust my play if the killer is having a hard time. If the gens are popping fast and he hasn't gotten any hooks, then sometimes I'll search out the killer to give him a chance to get somebody.
I'm not really good at chases, so the killer would have a fighting chance with me.

As I've said before in these forums about killers who just stand there hitting you on the hook, they're probably kids with minor sadistic tendencies. I suppose new killers might not know better but they wouldn't be at higher ranks.
To me, a good killer exercising some finesse will manage to double-hook all four survivors and then possibly kill them off at the end of the generator cycle or maybe during EGC. That gives everyone a change to play and enjoy the game and also shows that the killer is really in control much more than just camping and 1-2-3 hooking each survivor in turn.
This right here. You never know who is on the other side playing killer. My son would sometimes let his friends little brother play his killer and he'd play like that. He was 7.

The person that complained didn't have kindred or bond, so they wouldn't know. Plus I watched the whole match and OP wasn't crouching around. They were looking for a gen to do and when they were needed for a save, they did it.

Yes, I think Wraith is a lot faster, so that can make it tough on a survivor.

It looked like a perfect game to me. Some people are just toxic. They would have no clue what you're doing the entire game to be able to say you're just hiding and crouching around.

I've never seen it this bad. I'm constantly booted from the game with different error messages. While playing, I sometimes get moved to different spots. I'll be running in one direction and then suddenly, I'll be back where I started. Sometimes I can't move at all and I'm just frozen in place.
A killer who had given up the chase, one time, turned around and came back for me when he saw that I suddenly froze. I just had to sit there helplessly and watch him kill me. I'm on pc. Something is definitely wrong. It didn't used to be like this. It's just recently that all this weird stuff started happening on a regular basis.

I love Tru, but I sure wish he wasn't encouraging Leatherface play. Leatherface is one of my least favorite killers and is so hard to play against. Kills me instantly much of the time.
