and being facecamped either
If you get punished for going down, next time you will try to avoid that as much as you can so you will improve.

I'm assuming your'e a killer main who wants people to give up on hook for easier games based on this comment.
I agree with OP. Currently, there's zero incentive for staying on the hook if you're being camped. If you're in solo, there's literally no reason to stay. I won't sit on a hook and let randoms do gens because there's nothing in it for me.
Nice assumption. I actually played a lot more survivor than killer and currently I am mostly playing survivor. If you don't believe me I can prove it to you.

I think it is interesting tbh. I never asked anyone about the nickname before. It really made me curios lmao.

at least 3 of 4 survivors do this, either at the start or on first hook against Freddy. 3/4 is the same as 75%.
I think the feeling is unanimous
Lol. According to you no one ever wins against Freddy which is untrue.

You say with a one hit killer as your pic
As a red rank survivor. And btw Myers has no anti loop and you have to stalk people to get that one hit. Play survivor more before complaining about weak killers.
-
How to screw your teammates.
Do what op suggests.
-
Bad idea. Rewarding survivors for going down. It won't help people improve.
-
I guess you are new at the game. You will get used to it. And if you play survivor too you will see similar behaviour by killers.

So your subjective opinion is the final say because you said it?.. Ok.
I suggest checking other opinions too since no one agreed with your post I think lol. And check youtube for toxic voice chat experiences. Plenty of them to see. Heck check every corner of the internet and you will see how many people encounter toxic people in voice chat. It is not really subjective if you played enough of games with it. People say most disgusting things.
If you think horrible people will magically become flower sniffing hippies just because of voice chat you are very wrong. They will do exactly the same.
-
Please try that build on red ranks and 4k every game. I dare you.
I never use that build because I actually want to win a game not lose. It makes you slow and by the time you get to tier 3 the game is over against at least somewhat competent survivors who refuse to feed you.
I don't even care if they remove it tbh. Even better if they give us something that is actually helpful.

That’s...the point. Any guess why people hate each other on this game, here’s a hint, DEHUMINIZATION.
Have you ever played a game with voice chat? People are still vile and toxic it doesn't matter if it is text or voice. There is no difference. I don't buy an argument that the game is toxic because there is no voice chat since I had different experience.
-
It is not hard to guess.

But yeah, in general, Outfits which are in the Shop stay in the Shop.
Oh I didn't realise. Just recently started playing after a long break. Thanks bro.

Or you know, you can play well and be good at looping instead of relying on perks.
You can but you will go down and sometimes get farmed and compromise the team. If you are bad at looping ds won't save you if you get tunneled of the hook but your team will get a little time at least for gens. That is just my opinion tho you can use whatever you like. I am just observing my teammates and seeing people rehooked immediately after unhook. That is not optimal. Instead of blaming farmers we can be prepared for situations like that. I don't know any person who was never farmed of the hook in solo q.
-
People not using ds get what is coming to them while playing solo q. The problem is they damage the team as much as the farmer.
-
I noticed a very large amount of people does this. Did some streamer started this trend? I wouldn't be surprised. It is even more common than few years back. I don't remember this being a problem.
-
Yeah really scummy and if they manage to kobe you are denied unhook points. Too selfish imo.
-
Bubba is cute tho.

i prefer playing against old ruin as a survivor.
as a killer, new ruin is definitely superior but both are good. id hardly call the change a "nerf" it just forces you to apply gen pressure to get value.
killers who were never good at applying gen pressure prefer old ruin and vice versa.
You can't apply pressure with slower killers that efficiently.
-
@WishIcouldmain said:
It is still strong but the kind of killer it works with changed. Old Ruin was best for slow killers. New Ruin is best for fast killers.
Kinda agree with you there.

It was a completely broken system...they weren't clear at all about how it worked but good killers were getting matched against baby survivors with a weird degree of regularity, and vice versa. They claimed it would be a good way to match players of similar skill (because we all know rank doesn't dictate skill) but it really just did not work at all.
They disabled it after a couple weeks and said they'd keep working on it to bring it back once it worked, but we haven't heard much since.
Damn. I remember having high hopes for mmr. But something is really weird now for me for sure. I am waitting for a long time just to play with new people. Look at this.
I am very confused. Every game is like this for me now.
Edit: Even ping became bad too.
Edit2: I am done I can't play like that unless they fix this. I will play other games for now.
Edit3: Tried again and thank god had two games with good teammates. It is getting better thankfully.

@LordRegal said:
My first instinct is the update turned on MMR again before it was ready to come back, but that's 100% speculation on my part...
How did mmr work? I took a long break and didn't play when it was active. Will I get more experienced teammates when I play more and do well?
-
@danielmaster87 said:
The matchmaking is super messed up. I feel like I get the worst of both worlds as survivor. In solo que, the killer is purple rank and my teammates are yellows. In SWF, just because we have 1 red rank, the killer is always red rank. This is forced smurfing as a game mechanic.
I am always the only red rank in my solo games now, but I wouldn't mind if other ranks were somewhat experienced like before.
-
Why am I always paired with new players against red ranks killers then? Every game I played after update my team was inexperienced.
-
@shane32 said:
Im a red rank killer main and I have been vs teams of like two rank 16s a Seven and a Four its literally every game I'm vs all colors of the rainbow.
Yeah and now I am facing some newish killers too and before it was mostly red and purple ranks. I feel so out of the place tbh lol.
-
@CountVampyr said:
I still find that survivor queues are fast at noon and slow at midnight. The opposite is true of killers. Plan accordingly.
It was instant for me no matter which time of day I played. Now it is not.
-
I think it is too big and clustered now. I don't know how people prefer this but I will get used to it.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
You have to bring it. Otherwise, if there is no Obsession or at the latest at the point where the Killer sees that you dont have DS, you are out of the game.
If they tunnel you after your first Unhook and dont get stunned, they will tunnel you again, nothing is preventing them. DS is still a mandatory Perk.
This is true. People who don't bring it in solo q are relying too much on their team which is a recipe for disaster.
You can't expect people to take a hit for you or have bt. It is silly. I don't have a bt so I always take a hit when I unhook if the killer is near and not going anywhere. It benefits the whole team but some people just farm you and dissapear. It is their choice so is yours to come prepared for situations like that.
-
As much I as am against toxicness from both sides it is a bad idea and would never work. People would always find a way to be toxic even if you ban certain gestures they would invent other ones.
And what if someone does it accidentally? Bad idea.

Haha I love this post. I’m more a survivor player who has been playing killer more recently since before the last patch, and it’s interesting to hear a killer main’s perspective on playing survivor.
Very true indeed, but I do have fun playing survivor. Items can be interesting, like if you do a sabo build. But yes, killers can go out of their way to make your time miserable and skill does not guarantee your win.
But I still prefer survivor because of the team aspect, because you don’t have complete control and need to depend on others. I find it uninspiring when you’re completely invulnerable and in control and need nobody else. That was preferable years ago when I was younger and more headstrong and wanted to be able to do everything on my own.
But now as I am more grown up I find it more interesting to learn to get along, deal with difficult people and to depend on others. And it is more of a challenge and unpredictable.
Ok this is becoming a Ted talk, time to move on. But yes survivor more interesting(to me), killer not so much. But I still play killer sometimes to see how the other side fares.
So people who play killer are young or immature?
-
Injured survivors should teleport on a nearby hook.
-
I mean you got your moneys worth even if you never play again. This is the only game I played this much. I got some dlc and skins but I played more than I played lot of games combined which costed me more. Devs deserve my money no matter what everyone else says. If this game was so horrible no one would play it.

-
Dbd is not going anywhere.
-
What does it mean? Pls tell. :D
-
I love playing against nurse. Probably because I rarely met decent ones before the crossplay on console.
I find it interesting and rewarding learning to bait her blinks.
-
As long as you don't throw the game trying to get back at them. But I am not a fan of toxic behaviour even if deserved. It affects you negatively I think.
-
Mine is iron, ds, kindred and woo.
-
Yeah considering how much everyone hate each other that would be swell.
-
Maybe they think killer has blood warden or they don't want to trigger egc until everyone is unhooked.
Or maybe they are indeed trolling.
-
I only saw people roasting streamers who think they are special because they stream and their opinion is more valid that of those who don't stream.
-
Or let people play the game how they want. Killer or survivor.
The only thing I am not fan of is toxicness.
-
Yes lol.

Or play swf
Don't worry that game was one of the last solo survivor games I ever played, because it's genuinely unbearable with the current matchmaking.
Your point is that you are the best at everything and never make a single mistake. Everyone else is below you. I get it.
I could tag several members of this forum who are infinitely better survivors than I am, if you wanted, or better than me in other ways. I in no way think I'm the best at everything, only Pyramid Head, and I'm well aware of whenever I make mistakes and know how to improve on them in future. Perfect people don't make mistakes.
Again if you're going to respond at least try and disprove something, cut the attitude and the snide remarks.
Do I really have to disprove generalisations? And I guess I am the bad guy here, not people bashing majority of the playerbase and looking down on them.
-
This doesn't fit the character imo nor does it seem balanced.

One generator left because I did 3 of them whilst still being chased by her, correct.
One generator left with 3 people on death hook and me not having been hooked once because I was the only one that could last more than 2 seconds, yes.
Shack pallet wasted on a map with a total of 8 pallets, yes.
Shack pallet wasted through no fault of my own and entirely the fault of my teammate, which was the point of the gif, yes.
if you're gonna reply with something at least debunk my point.
Your point is that you are the best at everything and never make a single mistake. Everyone else is below you. I get it.
And sorry to break it to you but you will never be able to control how your teammates preform. And even if you are paired with all the red ranks you will still see similar things happen.
Maybe just maybe play the game and adapt, let others do the same because crying about it won't change how others play the game. Or play swf.
-
One gen left and god pallet wasted. End of the world.
