Unknown sure gets a lot of their content removed lol
Id certainly play it but we are more likely to end up with something like Cthulhu as that may be too tough for them to animate with this ancient software lol
-
I havent had too much trouble looping him so far. Even made a few give up chase. I asume their logic as to why he can spam so much and why his worldbreaker lasts so long is that hes the first killer that has to hit you 4 times to knock you down. So in a way like trickster getting loads of knives to spam at u, and then a rapid fire mode.
The trick ive found to looping him is to think 2 steps ahead. Like you are running at a window or a doorway, you know hes going to take a shot there so you double back, but you also think of where he might shoot incase he predicts youd double back lol. If they miss you gain distance and time to use the window or lose line of sight past the doorway. And it just keeps repeating. The other thing is to gain as much distance as you can because he is slow moving and has a shorter range on his shots than maybe deathslinger. In otherwords holding W works well.
As for the undergate attack you try to plan where you are going to B line (run straight out of the circle) than you trick him by going the other way, if the center lands infront of you just turn around and go straight, if its behind you just keep going the way you are going, and stay in open areas till he comes out.

Im not sure what the mmr has to do with my comment? or what you mean by 4 years
-
The clowns rework might be a good example of what would happen. Currently all the killers can still defeat solo que players just the latest ones can do it much more aggressively.
Give more power to killers that are alredy capable of winning just struggle more to do so - might give you some of them becoming much worse to face than they used to be, for the rest of the game's lifespan.
The other thing is who would determine which killers actually fall under b c and d tiers to allow them such massive buffs? I doubt bhvr themselves have their own tier list to go off of.
And another example could also be huntress getting 7 hatchets, shes got so much more ammo to dodge in a chase now that if the killer player is skilled enough you arent going to dodge all 7 lol she wont have to reload in a chase most of the time.
-
As for vampire form feeling weak, he is supposed to be 3 killers in 1 just each of his 3 forms are weaker then the killers he is emulating. Vampire form is like a nemisis with much longer cooldown , but an added bonus of being able to shoot through short objects that nemis whip could normally be crouched under to counter.
His wolf form is a weaker wesker with no infection, no throwing, no double hit slamming, and less control over the 2nd dash, but with a bonus of passive scent orb tracking of running survivors, and not very noticeable speed boosts and blood trails.
His bat form is a weaker spirit as it makes allot more noise while in the form which dampens your hearing of survivors, cannot immediately attack out of the form, and can still be seen/heard from survivors. But with a bonus of teleportation to vaults, not having a timer, and a short cooldown to switch back to the form.
Combine all 3 of these in 1 chase and you have the wolf having advantage out in the open until the target reaches pallets / windows, then switchss to a form capable of hitting through them, and even a form to switch to to make up lost distance if the target gets too far. And you will have a killer that adapts to nearly any situation.
Using 1 form most of the game is not recommended. As they only have to use 1 type of counter rather than adapt to all 3 of your forms.
It may also help to learn Nemisis / Pyramid head as their m2s are combined to make hellfire, its got slightly less of a detonation delay than pyramid heads attack, and slightly more distance than nemisis whip (unsure if t3 whip is longer)
I also happen to have dracula at p100 so i guess i could say hes one of my mains lol
-
I wouldnt change anything about him other than his iri addons. The ring that makes your hellfire supposedly home in, does barely anything for an iri level addon. If anything the hellfire pillars should be widened with that addon to allow it to simply be easier to get hits with as is the current purpose but its not good at.
And alucards shield currently is an addon that costs the most, doesnt do anything the entire game, and then turns out to be a funny lightshow for people on the way out because the only conditions in which youd get any value from the addon is if you are chasing an injured survivor to the door without anyone else to body block. Otherwise they just dodge it all or crawl through or heal tech eachother etc. A buff could be that if anyone gets hit by a hellfire pillar in the exit gates - they get blocked like springtraps purple bag addon, thatd atleast make it threatening for all the value u throw away by bringing it.
Aside from that cube of zoe is another addon that sounds great - does nothing. Ive seen every person that tried to get value out of it fail to do so. Maybe it can spawn random pillars around all generators when one gets finnished instead.
-
Never been able to test how either perk works as u can still always hear your repairs clearly. Im surprised the perks don't effect the sound of the generator itself because thats what the killer homes in on, not your click clacking of pulling leavers n stuff lol
-
Ive gotten the hang of decently looping him to a point where ive made a few give up chase. The escape rate feels the same as any strong killer, he just has a lot of snowball potential with the worldbreaker mode lasting a long time. Which the counter to that is to stay seperated.
-
Was thinking about weather baldurs gate 3 was a seperate enough license from dnd that they wouldnt be able to bring some of its characters as legendaries for aestri. Or perhaps a whole baldurs gate 3 chapter with a beholder killer and some of the main cast survivors.
-
Probly saving teleports for jason or something. Maybe they can change how his stealth works so that once the target(s) get marked or someone is hit, the stealth breaks. No more staring him down to break hin out of stealth. And more speed while not in chase for x seconds etc.
Would those be enough buffs to put him up there with myers? Since his most frustrating thing is being broken out of his power constantly then having to chase as basic m1 most of the time, and mobility for large maps.
-
I just played one as wraith and one as ghost face. Both times i got 3k and let the other person have hatch (probably helped that i had indoor maps) Havent had too mich trouble with low tier killers so far. But i suppose after looping something like henry for several rounds in a row theyd see an m1 killer and be like oh thankfully its just _____
-
Couldve even done a 2 survivor chapter with a male and female. Opportunity missed.
-
Had a similar experience. First day no problems everyone wants to see the new killer, next day you get people who can loop him well and hold w to counter his lack of chase speed, but theres always 1 that just dcs or starts throwing themselves at you to "go next" like they are trying to force nerfs or something

With this game you never know if something is a feature or a bug, that's the sad part. Maya Hawke who plays Robin, is fairly tall. And in the dbd lobby, Robin got male height. During matches, she gets scaled down to female survivor height. BHVR has to change this, it's so frustrating. Why don't give her the male skeleton then, just like Aestri. It's not that hard to do
I mean she shrinks in game and is tall while in lobby, while dustin is short in lobby while tall in game lol. They kinda messed up something on both of them to the point where they may have had someone make the lobby models and a different person made the in game models and they werent on the same page
-
The battle between character style people want to play and main, vs the character style we currently dont have - begins!
-
I thought most of the ptb feedback said he was great and well made
-
He generally excells with no terror radius perks also because he makes 0 sounds as he doesnt walk, just floats. And there isnt any flapping or anything like ghostface just bam hes there. Probably one of the new easiest killers to get interupt grabs off generators for as well.
-
Havent heard anything yet. Nor anything about daryls screams or richter's face. Only nancy's face getting reworked (again)
-
Its almost like theres a bug between her and dustin where they swap model sizes in game
-
Perhaps we can get a badge of a seagull wearing a scoops ahoy uniform like they did with Jim the beam
-
Ive avoided it most of the time, yet managed to get several hits with it in my 1 game i played as him and got adept on the first try. So it doesnt seem like its in an unfair spot, just it seems like when you do avoid it its like they missed by a hair lol. Cant really say that its faster

Nice. Krasue is very underrated. She is not buggy like houndmaster and actually pretty good.

One thing I've learned to do is to chase good survivors in body form until I can get an opportunity for easy head form hits. So if there's a jungle gym or a safe pallet nearby, I think it's often better to continue the chase in body form with bamboozle (unless the survivor is very far ahead and you need the mobility). This strat lets you kick the pallet and go straight into head form without the double form switch delay and also is much harder to bodyblock against.
Oh nice. I keep forgetting she can attack right out of transformation and i get too excited to go into head form lol
-
I had about the same experience lol itl be fun till you get the ones that can avoid spit like professional dodgeball players and body block for eachother everytime someone does get spit on.
But it wont be all the rounds, they eventually go back and forth mostly in your favor.
Ive noticed the whip can also turn very fast like oni's slam and you can hit people that practically run behind you. Its almost like you can swing the entire attack about 150°
-
The pin from mikaela's castlevania Sypha cosplay.
-
While in chase with a killer 2 steps behind you, you don't have the milisecond to stop and do a skillcheck (and you would have to stop because you cant move+turn+look around+vault+press the skillcheck button at the same time.) As that killer is constantly gaining on you with their speed advantage, and bloodlust adding to that advantage.
Against certain killers chases alredy last a few seconds to a point where you wouldnt even get a chance to do these skill checks.
It may end up complicating something that many survivor players alredy find too stressful to manage.
-
I suppose the only points these days that id get stressed is when you start getting turbo tunneled off the hooks, or you are against a survivor thats really being rude but also cannot be caught up to by normal means.
Bully squads on the other hand are somehow relaxing because they dont do gens lol so its just them trying to mess with you till they fail.

so your tactics have to change by taking the gloves off, but right at 5 gens just incase they are a strong team makes no sense to me
This is actually the best time to do it. You can very easily dial it back when you're winning and arent under pressure. Once you're losing though you don't have that leeway and any mistakes or strong survivor plays are vastly more punishing when trying to claw back some advantage towards the end of the game. The generator counter is largely irrelevant because multiple gens are being (or should be) worked on and you should assume you're on less gens than it says because of individual gen progress.
Frankly i dont understand going into a PvP game and expecting your opponents to not be trying their hardest from the get go from either side, doesn't make any sense to me.
Mostly comes down to empathy i guess. Some dislike being tunneled so much they refuse to do it to others. While others just know thats what wins and doesn't care about the other player's on the other end. So there will always be a divide lol
-
Perhaps you havent found your most comfortable killer to play. Once u do, you won't feel as stressed about winning but just playing your favorite killer for the fun of the game. Since it is a very rng based game, you can never fully control how your experience will be or who you play against. But at the very least you can atleast try to enjoy your favorite playstyle.
And i don't mean to say the game is going to be all sunshine n rainbows once u find that comfortable playstyle, i just mean you can look at the game in a different way where if you really arent having fun as the killer in a certain round, there is no go next prevention for killer. You can just start going around kicking all the gens n pallets till its over so you can build up points on the milestone. Or You can just stop where u are, look straight up, and get up and go do something else for a bit , get a drink or some food or something and relax. By the time you get back round will either be over or close, and then u just ignore the chat and move on to your next round. Lots of people play in a way to get a rise out of you, best counter is to ignore them completely
-
So far im not sure what can be done about it. Atleast by the players. Ive been on the recieving end of the turbo tunneling plenty of times. And some of those times ive managed to keep the killer busy for most or all of the generators before dieing, as when u know they are fixated on you alone it means you have free reign to use every pallet on the map.
But then the arguement comes in where sure im decent at looping sometimes even pretty good, but what about if they go for the other teammate maybe they arent that great at looping, or give up when they know the killer doesnt want to play - just win. Then theres really no counter to it except everyone fighting over hatch.
I play allot of killer too and can understand how sometimes you end up against a team that just cranking out gens and whenever you drop someone u cant pick them up, so your tactics have to change by taking the gloves off, but right at 5 gens just incase they are a strong team makes no sense to me. All you really get for winning more is harder matches, which to me makes 3 kills a win, 4th is bonus points, so i always avoid slugging for 4k.
-
I once had a problem where the game wouldnt launch on steam, its like a file got corrupted everytime i went to play it, and then after verifying the integrity of the game cache (which replaces broken files) itd get past that point and have another problem. Which after restarting steam, itd finally let the game run. Every 3rd or 4th time i tried to play id have to go through the same process.
Anyway, i went to this forums bug report section and reported the whole thing there with screenshots etc. And within a week or 2 it was fixed in an update.
Im not sure if thats still their main way of fixing bugs as ive heard they have a new method for bug reports. But that might be your best bet as it is a bug on their end if its not happening to other games.
-
Or even the reverse where you get nearly camped to death then hard tunneled off the hook, and 5 rounds later that killer is one of the survivors in your lobby lol
-
I admit the giant head stands out the most from the 3. And its cosmetic potential would be quite interesting. I believe the powers are alredy being chosen seperate from the look of the killer, like we alredy seemed to vote on an energy beam and sending people to another realm based on what sins they built up.
What kinda drives votes away from the giant head tho is the fact that we threw away having beasts and mutants and cosmic beings because most voted for a divine angel like killer. So in most of their minds the first 2 seem to fit the general description of what they were hoping for from the beginning. The head however doesnt really seem much like an angel. And it would be odd to see the whole process start by the community wanting an angel and then ending up with a giant head walking on arms lol.
I hope we get to explore more of the options someday as there were quite a few interesting killers to vote for
-
There were discussions in the ptb feedback section about nancy's new face, 100% of them asked for a rework or revert. Some even brought up replacement face models that looked allot more like the actress
One of the mods in those discussions said they were sending the feedback to the dev team. So id imagine they know we dont want the nancy they are going to give us. If she does end up with the current new face itd be like they took all our feedback and said "we don't care".

3 of my 4 p100 killers are licenses, and all 4 of my p100 survivors are licenses. I feel more connected to licensed characters and they seem to feel more important than the originals. I still play the originals and like them, but not enough to dump 100 prestiges into. And it drives me nuts when they make cosplays of licensed characters on originals, without making the licensed character first as a legendary atleast.(attack on titan was understandable because at the time they didnt really have a way to convert anime characters to look normal in dbd)
Gameplay wise its like the simpler the killer, the more fun it is to use. Which the killers have gone from really simple to something where you have to read and memorise a whole rulebook for. Ive started to enjoy the current Krasue due to her simplicity of infect target, chase down target in very aggressive head form. But my mainest killer is xeno due to being a big fan of avp since the early 90s. Looking forword to Henry(Vecna 2) as ive seen the show and enjoyed the last season despite its problems. But depending on how strong he ends up coming out at launch, he might end up overplayed like kaneki which is another of my 100s because of Rize, but i barely ever play her due to everyone else playing them too often and survivors are never enjoying the experience as if you were on legion.
-
I voted her too. I think if she won she might actualy compete with sable or atleast reduce her number of players. If the old woman wins sure everyone voted for a new style of character, but you will see her as rarely as taurie/haddie/laurie once the hype goes down. The killer would end up being the more played out of the chapter.
And ill admit the 2 most common characters you see in nearly every lobby is sable and lara croft
-
Well a tip would be the perk lightborn makes you immune to flashlight/flashbang/generator bomb blinds including when picking up a survivor. It is a perk from prestiging Hillbilly.
And without lightborn the trick is to asume there is someone waiting to run infront of you to blind you when you pick someone up. So you guess where they might come from, walk up to the person you are picking up and either look at the wall if they are against one, or pretend you are going to pickup in their direction then do a quick spin and pick them up looking the other way, they will have to run fully around you to get in your cone of vision giving you time to pickup. If its against a wall, they cannot blind you from the sides or through the wall.
-
Its so far prevented extra long 3 gen games. I recently had a round against a krasue in the nostromo map, and she would not leave the ship because she knew 3 generators spawn in the ship. That gen kick limmit helped us enough that she only got 2 hooks and we all escaped. Otherwise it wouldve been almost an hour long with either all of us slugged or someone eventually being tunneled off. The removal of "gen tapping" seemed fair enough compensation.
-
Hopefully there will be one on the jan 27th livestream. Waiting to hear when prestige rewards are coming since they were pushed back too

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but we do take all relevant feedback to the team. As a part of the Community, it's up to the dev team to decide what to do with that feedback. We see everything, but replying to everything just isn't possible I'm afraid.
Can you let the dev team know a Shanoa legendary skin for Trevor Belmont would be appreciated :) we got no female characters from the castlevania collab and shes the only one that has her own game. Apart from an old gameboy game. Im a huge fan of her out of the whole cast of characters and im not trying to say yui's cosplay is bad, its just not the entire character to be played as.
And it wouldnt hurt to have another pretty gothic survivor girl lol she might sell really well
-
Kind of alredy have the half facr is pretty half is rotting going on with plague. I thjnk the top half being beautiful and angelic and the bottom half being scary and entity like would alredy be enough duality
-
Lots of ideas for non humanoid things, prettymuch just something without 2 legs lol. This is a hydralisk from starcraft
Its head opens up to shoot barbs (bone like spikes) and can burrow into the ground
-
I have him at p100 and play him often. The key to looping him well, is the fact that he has a weakness in each form. When he switches forms, you switch your tactics. If he swaps to batform, he cannot see you at all. So if you walk you can walk right past him, if hes chasing you injured and goes to batform, you can double back walking and he will get confused following the scratchmarks enough for you to reach something.
If hes in wolf form, he sucks around pallets/windows/multi corner tiles. Like blight or wesker you make sure he cant hit you in a straight line. If u are hiding from the wolf just walk as he cant see scent orbs if you dont run.
And the hellfire is one of the easiest to bait midrange m2s in the game with a long cooldown compared to other killers like nemisis or pyramid head.
Ive had rounds where people go down easily and its a quick win, but ive also had rounds where people loop me so hard i got 1 down in 4 generators and then still lost him to a blind lol. Hes not S tier like the big 3, just below them.
-
Get them to try the other side i guess, the more they learn on how the killers work, the easier it is to last in a chase with them. And each killer has their own mmr so they should have an easier time for a little while. Theyd also learn more from the survivors they find hard to catch. This game is kinda learned through monkey see monkey do until youve seen it all.
-
Well im usualy just looking to talk about the game with people. And give feedback and answer questions once in a while. But on a side note, trying to get this name^ seen by the forum mods by posting comments often lol as posting about it seems to just get ignored by everyone.
-
It can happen with any killer. All it takes is a slight milisecond of missing the right timing and even a killer who gets blinded right after the pickup still doesnt drop the survivor. Ive had many times as various killers where i was like "awwww... oh.. ok. hook" both pallets and blinding.
-
Actually i just reached that mmr with krasue where the game goes from enjoyable with occasional losses to just getting stomped no matter what you do lol. Like the counterplay ull see is you can barely spit on anyone, because they know which loops you cant spit around, they will always have a backup body blocker whenever someone sees a person get spit on they fly over to help. And just generaly twice as hard to catch than usual lol. They also will always capitalise on the fact that you have to focus on 1 person at a time, so they can spare the 1 person to help while the other 2 blitz generators barely gaining hooks.
Ill still keep trying but it kinda shows that every killer no matter how strong can go from enjoyable to miserable if you play them too much lol

it’s great if you really enjoy the Krasue and don’t let me stop you and I was actually excited for her due to the marketing surrounding her, but there is nothing in her gameplay that stands out to keep me going. Actually if the discussion gets 10 likes I’ll get Krasue to P20. And I won’t cheat by using characters I have anniversary offerings on.
I actually got her to 20 today lol
-
Oni or Krasue.
Oni is one of those killers that starts off normal and then after the first hits you start constantly getting the power to zoom around 1 shotting survivors, and unlike hillbilly he has 2 methods to 1 shot players with either the dashing around attack, or charge up a slam while walking to help with hits around loops n walls n stuff. Generally balanced and fun to use. Not particularly hated by the survivors either. Primarily focuses on keeping players injured to have easy access to their power, then can use that power to knock down multiple people. Primary weakness - a good looper at the start of the game that avoids the first hit, without any blood orbs floating around from injured survivors you are a powerless but not slow m1 killer.
Krasue on the otherhand is something i started getting into and ive been enjoying it allot so far as she is very difficult to escape a chase from once infected with the leeches due to a 3rd person camera with constant speed boosts. Shes also rarely played which prevents most of the survivors from knowing how to counter her attacks in chase making her quite the agressive - quick downing killer thats good at keeping up with survivors. Primarily focuses 1 survivor down at a time very effeciently. Primary weakness - body blocking, which you can switch back to normal form and infect the one blocking, or just keep hitting them multiple times. Her mobility is also somewhat hard to completely block.
Neither of their perks are anything amazing tho if thats what you are after.
-
I miss her old style as well. Used to main her before the spam change. I never cared about condemn kills i just used her for on/off stealth and teleport mobility. It was highly effective at the time atleast for me. I think they should atleast remove the luluby as it has no place on a character meant to turn off their terror radius.
-
Ive been playing her allot lately. Of all the killer ptb's for some reason i played over 10 trials as her and genuinely enjoyed the playstyle. Every other ptb id try the killer against some bots for 1 or 2 rounds and then wait for the release to play them. For me what stands out about her among other killers is the fact that she goes from projectile infector to hardcore chase mode that feels like you are playing some crazy flying fish. Unlike dracula (my other main) you don't have to constantly swap forms mid chase so it feels more like a chase stage 1 - once infected it becomes chase stage 2 which becomes more intense.
Another thing ive noticed is when she was released she was so busted that all the elite streamers spent most of their time just saying "shes unloopable" rather than showing how to actually counter her because she wasnt nerfed yet. So once she got nerfed and people stopped playing her, she became so rare that noone got a chance to learn how to loop against her solo, making her unique in the fact that most people you are chasing in headform barely know how to get away from you or counter attacks beyond body blocking for eachother.
So now that the hate has died down from before the nerf, and now shes rare unlike kaneki, ive found her to be a very comfortable / fun killer to play that gets good results most of the time, and unlike other killers, if the survivors are winning - its actualy a fun challenge because they usually get mowed down.
And the cherry on top is all the nice colourful cosmetics and customizable head form so you see your floating purple hair and stuff while chasing people lol
