the only reason why people think that base blight is fine is because the think the addons are the problem, in the moment the addons are nerf people will see that blight is too good at everything like nurse

Nurse has 80% of her power in base kit. Blight gains 200-300% power level in add-ons. They aren't even comparable.

  • Yep, but knowing bhvr they will probably end up nerfing his basekit even though it's also very agreed upon that his base kit is fine.

  • Even just doing decent on blight, he contests doctor and legion or even surpasses in bp farming.

  • @Steakdabait said:

so i don't have to play against SM

I get that but as I have said people are dcing more in my survivor games than my blight games. The killers I typically am up against aren't even heinous, it's killers like Wraith, Wesker, Huntress, Doctor and even Billy. I see tunneling sometimes but not in most of the games that a dc happens.

Like I really can get it if I run alch ring for the first time in 10 games and the survivors happen to be solos with no broken items(unlikely to happen) but people don't even dc in those games. People really just DC for playing the game.

  • @ehe said:

FOV slider. Its not that hard BHVR, it would NOT affect balance any more than basekit spine chill, also known as visual TR. Motion sickness is a real issue on the killer end, so many players NEED shadowborn just to play.

I genuinely don't know what my fourth perk slot will be once FoV slider gets added in 4 decades. At that point I will be 63 so I will need the extra base-kit shadowborne FoV to see.

  • Bro what. Imagine I tunnel you out and just say I was baiting your team off of gens to stop you from being killed off. But that is way more of a viable strategy then just t-bagging for the killers attention.

I get the intention and the reasoning but the validity of it is so much less than a killer tunneling and I don't do either.

Go for it if you feel it benefits you just like all the killers tunneling because they think that's the only way to salvage their awfully designed killers.

While I think tunneling is just dumb, it has a few valid reasons for doing it within dbd, on the other hand t-bagging has one valid reason that doesn't work vs killers actually trying to win. If you do it to me, sure, I'll take your challenge and walk over your corpse. But I remember being a new player maining doctor and realistically the only people your "strategy" is working vs is somewhat new players. I may take your bait, but make no mistake it was intentional.

If it works for you, good job. You managed to tilt a player not playing to win into your grasp, or atleast a killer who doesn't know better.

While I don't enjoy being tunneled I can say I'm probably only a top 25% survivor(not good in any regard), it''s not that hard to deal with vs most killers. I'll take the 3E for a 1k anyday because it would require an absurd amount of bp for me to care about living, even then bp doesn't matter after playing killer for 500h. There's nothing to grind for, I am just working for the best possible outcome for the team. Not that people would understand that.

  • @Chordyceps said:

Because there's not really anything you can do to target hook suicides specifically that wouldn't affect people trying to actually attempt to escape from hook. Hook suicides are annoying but it's something we just kind of have to live with.

What? A 4% change is a remnant of the initial game design. The game is no longer based around something so outrageous which is majority used for exiting the game.

    @Zeon_99 said:

You can't force someone into playing a game they don't want to finish lol. If they removed unhooking yourself, people would just leave and eat the timer. If the timer gets too high then they'll just play something else.

You can't in any game, the point is to have a real deterrent from screwing over 4 other players. Players that would dc so often they couldn't play without hook suicides shouldn't play the game in the first place.

These comments just show how selfish and conceded this playerbase is. Bhvr really just has to step up.

  • Simple. Best possible outcome is yellow mori basekit. The basekit unbreakable was just absurd and the top 3 killers would become even stronger. Both those outcomes are undesirable.

Ironically I see that your fun isn’t my priority statement more from killers than survivors. But regardless of who says it, it’s always true. No other player owes any player in this game a single damn thing. Especially not a fun experience. It’s up to the game designers to ensure that, not individual players.

True, it is the game designers job to punish players for ruining all other players fun. Whether that be nerfing tunneling and camping in same way and adding power to killer in another way or making it so survivors can't dc for free at any inconvenience(dc penalty also needs to be longer though).

  • image.png

Nah, I'm just kidding. But someone was about to start typing lol.

    image.png

Real build. Sometimes I throw on PR if I feel like it.

  • Neutral. I doubt there is a single person that would take gen-kick meta over this.

  • The responses to these threads never cease to amaze me. If you are so on the brink of DCing, just stop playing.

I have played league for over a decade and this is easily the most self centered community I have seen.

Your lucky bhvr gives you a slap on the wrist for leaving the game as killer, as survivor there basically is a 1 min penalty for dcing every time.

  • I mean if you haven't preformed a conspicuous action for 60 seconds then your aura should be straight up revealed. I really don't think there's a valid argument for why that shouldn't exist. Crows can be easily circumvented. Imagine if the killer could stand still and all gens would be blocked during that time.

Most don't have good pc and many players play on old consoles. I think cross play should be turned off you would probably get better opponent's as result and I would be happy not to have to face pc killers or survivors. Pc right now has so many advantages over console. Tell me what should I do when I mindgamed and avoided 6 rushes of blight but he just get the hit with last rush when I run out of options to avoid it what could I do?

It would be impossible to tell you anything without seeing a clip. If it's a 7 rush blight you typically have to play around his low turn rate and dodgeable flicks(assuming it's adrenaline vial), that means if you run out of resources to work with just do your best to deny a shoulder flick and bait a long range flick. If he has really solid collision all around the tile and the spaces are tight, there really isn't much you can do against adrenaline vial tbh.

I would be fine with crossplay off if pc queue times weren't so long with it off at the times I play.

Addons aside blights exploits can't really be reasonably fixed. He is not the only killer who suffers from such problems, look at nemesis for example his whip is designed to hit survivors crouching behind windows and yet at certain windows it does not work, its inconsistent thus not intended.Oni can also flick past 90 with jerky camera movements.

Blights collision is consistent however its required. You either bump on something or you slide.Hug teching is just making the game think you are sliding. To fix blight you would have to fix collisions as a whole, and i guarantee you that will only give birth to more problems, bugs and techs being developed, maybe for different killers even that rely on a similar mechanic.

No point in trying to discuss anything with this person. They vehemently hate blight for being a better version of billy.

  • I mean I was doing fine before I mained blight as a nemesis/ph/bubba/hag player with mid tier builds, even with how op the survivor meta was when I finally got good at killer. Current state of the game is far more friendly to killers than that was. Although if you are playing something like legion/wraith/freddy then realistically I don't know how you would be allowed to do very well.

Although, this playbase is terrible and as someone who actually went out of there way to learn and get better, I progressed far past average far faster than an embarrassing amount of players in this game did. I feel like a vast majority of this playerbase either doesn't go out of their way to learn from outside of the game or simply came into video games late and it takes them far too long to learn.

Saying Solo Q is anything but nearly impossible. Every change they do affects Solo Q 2x-3x more than it will EVER hurt SWFs. Most of the new killers are anti-loop where you just pray that their power runs out before they down you. You have no control over it. There is no looping or juking. You just run and pray. You have no USEFUL info while in Solo Q. Yeah, I'm on a gen. Is the person on the gen NEAR the hooked player?

Is the killer approaching that person? Did the person get off the gen because the person is being chased, or because they're going for the unhook? Is the killer camping the hook? All those changes only hurt Solo Q. Since this last update, my games have been nothing but MISERABLE to the highest degree as a survivor in Solo Q. There is rarely a game where even when I BARELY win, do I feel happy. I'm just glad the slog of aggravation is gone. Why do I do this? The rift forces me to finish survivor challenges. I'm a GREAT survivor.

I have a ######### ton of videos on it but since that change happened, this has been the literal worst state of DBD, I have personally played and I've been playing since 2017, where you could get stuck in hooks, rubber-banded into the basement, literally SUCKED into the ground so you just insta-died, couldn't leave the exit gates because it would force you back into the match, and MANY more game-breaking bugs. This is STILL the worst thing I have ever experienced. Once my survivor challenges are done, I'm switching solely to killer where the matches are easy. I play ALL killers equally. I do VIDEOS on them.

I don't cut anything out, I explain what I'm doing, I don't use 4 regression perks, I don't camp/tunnel my ass off during a match and I STILL have a blast. They managed to make Solo Q literal hell. My teammates are terrible most of the time now, too. It's like they reset my MMR, or something. The amount of Iri's, 4 regression perk, super sweaty tunneling that I've been facing is ridiculous, but the worse part is? My teammates seem like they're new to DBD and my killers are all jacked up on jungle juice, out for blood. Even when I WIN, I feel like I lost because of how much I have to SWEAT to even have a CHANCE at HATCH.

What they should have done was did the healing changes to SWFs ONLY. If the system knows you're in a team, you get a penalty to heals. If you're solo, its 16 seconds. Creating this many killers that prevent you from using your only form of protection as you run away, is also just terrible. Flashlight weaknesses were taken out. They gave NURSE an add-on for 30% EXTRA LUNGE. Are you kidding me? Then people complain about exhaustion perks? With how many anti-loop killers we have now, or range killers that just hit you over the pallets/windows? How EASY do you want this game to be? You know makes me laugh?

I LOVED Death Garden. I bought the FANCY edition because I REALLY wanted to support BHVR, and they managed to kill that game in less than 6 months. Might as WELL continue that trend with DBD by doing the same stupid stuff that they killed the other game with. Making the game IMPOSSIBLE for one side. I spoke up, and told the other team that the Hunter side was very hard, and it really felt brutal to play. What did they do? Keep shitting on the Hunter. After awhile, no one wanted to play as the Hunter. Game died even after making it free-to-play.

I will NEVER buy another BHVR game because they don't know what balance is. Making a game based off of stealth, looping, and pallets, just to take most of those away with each new killer is a great way to show how much they understand their own game. Enjoy my rant. Coming from a person who use to watch people play this game in Beta, got it as soon as it came to Console, then switched to PC a year later JUST to play THIS game, then to watch it morph into the most boring gameplay loop ever devised, is the most depressing thing that I've ever been a part of. Don't tell me Killer is hard. Its the easiest role unless you're SWFs.

Unfortunately solo queues state is just a symptom of how bad the player base is. This is the only game I have ever played that I have felt genuine distain for how terrible 90% of players are.

Also players seem to seperate things so extremely in dbd. Grouping Killers, survivors and solo queue as singular terms when it is never that simple. Killers range in such a far range of power it's laughable. SWF is typically talked about like it's a 4 man swf and solo queue is talked about like it's always solo. But I can pretty much say that over half of all games will at least have a 2 man in them.

People try and make things out to be so one dimentional when it's really not. If you are losing to legion and you consider yourself even decent, that's just a joke. Maybe it's your teamates fault but that will always be the case. You can't make it so solo queue can function when 2-3 players on the team are far worse than the killer.

  • Everyone wraith main please raise your hand

    Every wraith main:

    lmao

  • Before borgo and the new red forest, Yamaoka was always second worst after swamp. A lot of things on the map have shaky collision and the tree roots block the ability to get collision on the tree itself. I haven't played on it this patch but I would doubt any collision has been changed there.

Dh is better it gives much more distance and that is much better agains't blight you actually make it to next pallet. Sprint burst blight can just ignore like it does not even exist. Nurse gets punished from sb more because she has usually only one blink to try counter it and dh is hard to time agains't her but agains't blight it's pretty easy to time once you get used to it but sometimes bad connection screws you. Dh nerf was gigantic buff for blight. He was certainly killer that got most punished by it.

I don't think you realize how easy it is to bait out dh most of the time as blight. There are 2 scenarios where dh can consistently get value vs blight, when he is on his last rush and when there is a lack of collision. I cannot tell you how many times I have been in a 4-stack dh lobby and gotten hit by it 0-2 times. How many times have you seen a survivor bait dh when blight brushes directly past them? I have seen maybe 20 between watching lilith and my own gameplay. From what you said it seems to imply that dh is always going to work vs blight. You can even use certain collision to pluto yourself against the survivor and wait it out that way as well.

With sprint burst you can put a couple bumps in between you at the very least if there is collision near by because it's near impossible to line up a shoulder flick against a decent survivor while sb is active and a flick should always miss while sb is active. Yes, if the map allows you can wait it out but it will get value more consistently imo.

This is all assuming you have sprint burst available to you though.

  • What's left at that point though?

A mid eruption, mid PR, mid dms, mid jolt and pentimento? Anything else left for gen regression?

I really don't think 80% of killers can be buffed up to a level where they can compete without lots of gen regression and no tunneling without being beyond awful to play against. Really don't know what the answer to that problem is. Probably just ignore them, buff blight add-ons again and nerf pig if I had to guess.

  • It's so weird. People complain about playing against the same killers on repeat(which I understand) but the survivor side of that point is that you run into the same perks every game as killer. It's why I took a break in april 2022 and it's why I took a break in February 2023.

It's the exact same thing. You can withstand playing against wesker in 1/3 of your games if I can withstand playing against dh in 100% of my games for a year and a half(minus the 1 month after 6.1.0).

Especially when facing wesker. Like really how many killers are more fun to play against over wesker?

The "I don't want to play vs this killer this much" equivalent is survivor perks. So many people don't realize that and I'm sure a lot of people will tell me I am wrong even though survivor perks and killers are what differentiate players from each other.

Even I would hate playing vs blight if I had to do it every game but survivors don't realize I play vs the same perks multiple times per game and then complain about playing vs wesker 25% of the time. It gets boring and this obliviousness is laughable.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/374074/killer-mains-how-is-the-new-lithe-and-sprint-burst-meta

I'm not gonna lie I absolutely hate it. They're both free distance that is typically very hard to work with if you're not a high mobility killer. Those same screwballs on reddit think that merely holding the opinion that sb/lithe is more annoying to vs than dh is pure copiun, like, lol. Sb and lithe have always been infinitely more free with their distance than dh, yet according to the sub they're completely fine and "dh denying a killer their deserved down" is a problem. Sorry for the side tangent but damn the sub is annoying as HELL

I don't understand. So that subReddit thinks sb/lithe is more annoying to vs than sb/lithe, but also they think dh is more of a problem? Whatever the circumstance, dh is highly overrated in skill and very very boring to play around. DH skill ceiling is -5 compared to looping tiles vs the many different killers in the game.

Keep in mind I mained several killers for many hours before blight.

  • It doesn't matter what killer I play or what exhaustion is the best. DH is simply boring to play against, the mind game isn't skillful, it relies on the killer's to mess up unless at a max range lunge for a pallet.

While people like to say dh is better vs blight, 99 sprint burst simply outclasses even uber-god-ultra-validation dead hard.

If we are talking about killers in general then it's still better because you can drop chase without worry when you please.

Im genuinely curious, what builds are you people running to win? I just cant slow people down. They bring medkits, heal each other super fast, and now I have almost no gen regression I dont know what to do about the gens.

Im getting to the point where I dont know what to do.

I play a killer capable of dealing with base game mechanics instead of relying on perks to deal with it.

TBF most players probably cannot 99 a sprintburst. And even then you can’t really do anything productive while it’s 99’d

I wish I could disagree with this since it's easy to do and efficient when the user knows when to do it. But this playerbase I guess.

  • It's just I come from other games where a rework is a massive overhaul of something. Legion and ghostface being considered reworks when they were really just an add-on pass with slight base kit buffs is very very weird to me.

  • When I was still pretty new to blight, this survivor looped me around shack until they died to egc. Whenever I would down them, I would let them wiggle off for another round. First survivor I ever played against like that and I won't forget them.

  • Maybe, but I guarentee that more people will be banning skull merchant, knight, legion and nurse over blight.

  • @HugTheHag said:

The blocked aura and 30% bonus wiggle when dropping down affects everyone, console or not.

I'm not against reworking the 80% bonus to the killer's movements because to be frank, I've almost never seen that part be useful and it's the one that affects console players the most.

Any rework should still have the aura and falling down mechanic though. Those are original and cool.

It's not a rework if you just drop one part of the perk and keep the rest. I know dbd standards for reworks are slightly change a perk at it's core but that's not a real rework.

  • @Pulsar said:

    My vote is yes.

The perk only affects a specific subset of players (those on Console) and it affects them to the point where it is still impossible to hook people if they have it on certain maps.

It's pretty much the only perk that I am genuinely upset at seeing in my matches.

    Thoughts?

It's pretty much been nothing but problematic since it's rework. They can buff it and make it impossible to play against or nerf it and make it 100% useless.

EDIT: Not a bhvr rework either a real one.

It's a matchmaking ban, not a timeout. It's not kindergarten, you're not a naughty child. Look up what a matchmaking ban is if you're not sure

Well, apparently you comment was deleted.

Multiplayer games can't allow the dc's this game does because it ruins it for every single other person. Every other game that allows it is an arcade game that can just fill in other players for the people that dc. That's not viable in dbd(for the player the would be filled in) and if that's not viable than DCing should be far more heavily punished.

Self unhooking(XDDDDDDDDDDD) is even worse because survivors essentially just get a free out with no punishment(something very common in all of my survivor matches right now). People DCing vs wraith who isn't tunneling several games in a row, just imagine being that person LMAO.

Your tome, your challenge, your internet and your personal fun is below the need for games to be played out consistently or the game WILL die. I can guarantee you that the biggest reason for survivors leaving the game right now is due to other survivors not playing the game.

I have no evidence for this claim it's just a conspiracy theory

I mean any map LoS/collision wise that is bad for blight is even worse for 10 other killers(except pale rose). I would love to believe your theory but mine is that they hired a single person to just fill up the map to make it look more finished.

The only thing I am biased about with regards to blight add-ons is green speed, I know it's slightly overtuned but it just feels too good and fits with any other add-on. I run alch ring every once in a blue moon because that add-on just = more rushes which = more fun but I restrain myself because of how op it is. All other add-ons that can be considered to be op can be gutted for all I care.

Even if you meant "He has Lethal then he probably has C21" that doesn't make much more sense. Lethal+BBQ is extremely common on Blight regardless of add-ons and even though it "synergizes" with C21, other Blight add-ons are way more busted, that even if you would know for sure Blight has Lethal it would still be the more rational decision to assume C33.

"Yoichi shouldn't even be looping Blight around main in the first place. [...] It was a doomed play from the beginning."

EVERYTHING is doomed play against C33 Blight at this level. You can't drop pallets, you can't greed them, you can't loop, and you can't hold W. Blight has a solution to all those scenarios.

The survivors are not expected to last long in chase at this level. Put this Blight against god loopers, they wouldn't last significant longer, unless they are extremely lucky with the 50/50s. ( @Sava18 this is also my reply to you by the way, I can't comment on Kaz being toxic as I haven't watched this series, but him losing 1v1 quickly does not say much about his skill, because it's the expected result).

"I can confidently say that I've seen better survivors in pubs"

Dan (the Yoichi) holds the record for the longest escape streak in pubs. That's 219 WINS IN A ROW (win = 3e or more).

So no, you aren't facing better survivors in pubs, and if you would face Yoichi, you would be lucky to get 1k.

It's like you take everything people say in slightly change it your mean then start typing.

A 1v1 gives all the advantages to the survivor in chase and kaz set his own time, the point wasn't about the toxicity just an added fact. Were talking about chase here, that's the point.

I specifically mentioned vs blight in chase on the other point.

  • @Phasmamain said:

I highly doubt that. The ability to basically ignore pallets and quickly hit a survivor twice are something can somewhat do in his base kit but with C33 and Alch ring it becomes ridiculous

Not to mention C33 can even be used to track survivor due to the bloodpoints score event

Your ignoring what he said. He doesn't use those add-ons often, so changes to them wouldn't affect him very much. He didn't deny them being busted. 99% of survivors don't know how to play vs blight because they don't understand the killer.

When I use alch ring, I take off all of my perks except one to attempt to balance it out. I don't use c33 because that add-on is basically better nemesis in a bottle.

Games easier? Well duh. I have a very very hard time escaping a game as survivor. The amount of games I play were I never ever get to make it to end game where all the generators are finished. I'm tired of being hookcamped, tunneled and slugged. I am extremely just over it when my teammate is being tunneled out of the game when there is still the entire 5 generators that need to be finished. I think killer is just way to overpowered. I do play killer but for me it's fun at all when I can easily get a 4k at 5 or 4 gens.

Bro, if you remove everything (tunnel, camp and slugging) then all the killer can do is hook one by one and the killer will be at the mercy of survivors a lot. I quite literally don't do any of that as killer but, if there is no options left besides play like a bot and just do this then killers will drop the game. My mindset when I was newish to killer was man, bt and ds denies tunneling, unbreakable denies slugging and all that's left is camping. That was about a year and 9 months ago and now they have added reassurance to counter camping as well. Imagine if I didn't play blight and I mained clown, you don't do any of those things and you auto lose vs survivors of the same skill tier.

On the other hand, tunneling is extremely op right now to the point of amazement. All I'm saying is if you take away any real decision making from killers outside of chase than the role will feel even more stale.

  • I mean @KayTwoAyy is correct. Comp teams are extremely efficient but kaz has literally would regularly stream snipe lilith like a year back and lose, then ask for a 1v1 every time while being toxic. When lilith finally accepted the 1v1 with subs at stake and beat him under the time kaz set by a decent margin, he said nothing, left and didn't give the subs.

I have seen pub survivors way better in chase at least vs blight than him.

    @Saiph said:

What even does "Good decision making" mean when half of the game revolves around mindgames? For example, is greeding a pallet a good decision? Because that will buy you some time against most experienced killers; however chances are that it won't work against a total noob who doesn't even know what a pallet is...

I think what you don't realize is that good killers win their chases rather quickly. So, if a survivor goes for what looks like the "good decision" to you, comp killers will have predicted that scenario and get a hit regardless. So comp survivors have adapted and do things that look suboptimal, which maybe make them look stupid to you when they fail it, but once in a while it works. I can guarantee your "Best pub loopers" would not last any longer in chase.

I believe you are a victim of a serious Dunning Krueger effect, there are several weird things in your message... first there is actually an insane amount of mechanical speed and reaction time involved in DBD. One example, please watch this clip and tell me if you notice something: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8Z8lP_gBJE&t=945s . Good mindgame, right? If you look carefully, there are a few frames where the medkit disappears before the survivor vaults the window, and so the killer dropped early because he knows the survivor doesn't fake it. Even Otz got caught...

And another thing: a survivor with 500 hours is actually faster than one with 50 hours, because the one with 500 hours will be better at hugging walls and hence get more practical speed in a loop vs. one with 50.

There is some confusion in your topic.

"If the player plays well enough, then they deserve it"

I think we're all aligned on this.

You know, there are also skilled solo queue survivors out there.

Do you know what their longest winstreak is?

Realistically that's not comparable. Killer is a single person and can fully control everything, that's why you only talk about 4-man swfs in these discussion. Solo is just a single person with no control over their teamates at all and you get teamates with goals other than winning all the time.

  • He's the first really fun killer to release since blight. There's no other new killers that are bringing down his play rate and his skill ceiling is really high.

That’s where I’m at too, I cannot fathom committing to that play style for THAT long. I would be bored out of my mind. Not to mention… if you can read chat all game during a winstreak, that says enough in itself. 😂

    Yep.

  • For the most part, nobody will be dead when vsing me until hook 6 or 7 min. But you have to keep in mind there is no real progression to this game and the only thing left to strive for is winning. I'm currently on a hiatus from dbd because I have nothing to strive for both in some form of rank and skill considering how trash most players are on this game.

For people like me who have played video games with a competitive mindset their entire lives, it's hard to play this game with no goal. There is no getting better when the opponents are bad, there is no improving some imaginary number when it doesn't exist. I don't care about the face value of dbd. It's an assym and that's cool and all. I like most of the gameplay but the player base(mostly) and the game disapoints me. There is too little skill expression when getting tunneled from survivor PoV and half the kiler roster at least and the players are just bad in general. Comp players in pub match with full meta pre-throwing on shelter woods instead of trying to play a single tile makes me want to throw up.

  • The entire forum is flooded with blight related topics and someone actually typed out this title.

I have never used tombstone so I don't really know the power level in relation to blight equip with his top add-ons but other than that he is beyond terrible. New players on both sides just think consistent availability of insta-downs is op.

  • I mean, you are just a random picking and choosing the posts you reply to.

Step 1: Get on dbd forum and spout bait posts for upvotes that gain you literally nothing

Step 2: Don't reply to most replies

    Step 3: ???

I don't really know where this trend came from in the last few months.

  • Also one last comment. Nurse is way easier for the average player to pick up and due well vs decent teams. Blight takes hours of knowledge to pull off effectively on each loop/map. Nurse is realistically just muscle memory and safe blinking vs all but a few teams in dbd. I guess I get it if you can't nurse down somewhat in a few games but people who have come from other video games will for the most part.

What turns me off dbd killer right now is how survivors either don't know how to play vs blight or try to play vs blight like he is nurse. It honestly puts me off this game how bad the playerbase is on both sides. Yes, I know I am playing one of the few killers that actually has good skill expression and outplay potential, but if they just nerf a few add-ons for blight he is the perfect killer for people who want to express the most skill on both sides. That's not a statement, that's basically a fact.

Nurse is overall more powerful because she can break the rules of the trial. An excellent Nurse player is like a homing missile, which requires a lot of skill and even more luck to beat. Blight is powerful, but doesn't break the rules. He relies on speed and confusion, but a cool-headed player has more of a chance against a Blight.

As for the win streak, it is an impressive feat but people shouldn't look at it with the feeling one cracked player represents the majority average players out there. It's simply fallable to consider this representative of the playerbase.

Also, as a side, I'd like to see a streak to not include dc's. If one person throws their toys out the pram early on it cascades. Even as killer I don't consider those matches a win in the true sense; to quote a fun quote from Dr. WHO when the Cybermen asked the Daleks if they were willing to go to war with them, the Dalek replied: "This is not a war. This is pest control".

TBH the most impressive part of that win streak was his ability to tunnel every game from 5 gens without falter. I have tunneled twice in the last year as a blight main. Once for a really good team while I was tilted from league and once when I saw 4 med-kits with a garden offering. I guess a streamers chat is there to make up for the boredom hard tunneling every game as a good blight would create though. The only interesting part of dbd is chases. The macro can be learned easily and so can most mechanics. Chase is the hardest part of the game and tunneling half nullifies a survivors potential skill in chase.

  • Most of nurses power is in base kit. Blight can become 200-300% stronger based on the add-ons. At peak blight can compete with nurse, even though blight takes way more skill to be that good at.

Also blight has counterplay, but 99.9% of survivors don't know enough about him to abuse his intricate collision. Which you could say is too much for dbd players and I would agree but also whatever.

    Here is a short story:

Back in 2019 when Spirit was not nerfed, her add-ons were extremely busted. I was using Bloody Hair Brooch and Wakizashi Saya these two add-ons made me feel like I’m the best Spirit in the world. I was literally getting 4KS and never lost EVER with these two add-ons. After they got nerfed my kill rate went from 100% to 0%. Because I was not good with her as I thought but add ons made feel like I was the best.

Blight mains are going through the same thing I went through in 2019. Try playing your killer and don’t rely on add-ons because if they got nerfed you are screwed.

Nah you overexaggerate a lot. C33 and alch ring gets nerfed and all the good blights will still be chilling. The only ones using c33 are abusing something beyond op, atleast alch ring requires you to get a hit but has far too much reward for that skill. Adrenaline vial is admitidadly forgiving but also way worse than people think, anyone with a brain can dodge a adenaline vial flick but the add-on itself makes it harder to get a shoulder flick. It's just too forgiving with the recharge time, that's the only thing that makes it viable. Iri tag has probably been seen by each player 5 times(used well) and speed should probably be based off of blights base speed instead of it's current exponential growth. Other than c33, all the other add-ons require some form of skill to play off of and even if they are op they a blight using those add-ons still takes way more skill than any other killer in the game easily. Hillbilly might be slightly mechanically harder but his skill ceiling doesn't even touch blights knees.

TLDR; blight has op add-ons but only two make him take less skill than literally any other killer in the entire game, not even close. You can try and argue with me but I doubt you know much about blight and probably can't contest me in a argument, go for it if you have an ego or have all the collision on each map memorized though!!!
