Good chance he doesn't play that killer much. If I go back to a killer ive bot played for 2/3 years, they'll still have anniversary items from back then.
-
Pallet stunning him should make a clown horn sound imo

Match making is just bad. Probably doesn't help if you're high mmr with other killers it does pull up your base mmr with new killers that you aren't familiar with yet and it can feel unwinnable. Teams I could easily mince with demo and spirit would run rings around me as blight or hillbilly.
Always said that killers should have separate ranks, so that you don't have to get smoked when playing a much less played killer. Suppose we have bot modes now for practice thus makes my point somewhat obsolete.
-
I'm getting Huntress every other game atm. I know she's on the current tome which obviously boosts her numbers, but hearing her humming at the start is almost as annoying as hearing a nurse blink ...... almost.
-
This is why ranks were better imo. If you wanted harder games against better players/teams, you could aim for the red/purple ranks. If you didn't play a lot or wanted mixed games, you could aim for rank 10-12. Instead, now you get sweat squads every other week if you did well the previous week. Takes a week of being stomped to find better matches again ๐

I disagree with Call to Arms and Dried horsemeat not being "must have" add ons. I refuse to play Knight without using both at once. He feels awful without them
Fully agree, however.... some games I find myself being very accurate with the guard placements, so much so, that I kinda questioned using it as im not getting any value out of it. You can argue that if you can keep landing right on top of the survivors, you don't need it. The extra radius is brilliant for catching those that hold w early which happens quite a lot for me.
He doesn't have any other addons worth dropping them for tbh.
-
Only change id make to him would be the feature in which hitting a hunted survivor ends the hunt. To get a double hit for the down, you end running alongside the survivor waiting for the Harry Maguire speed guard to catch up to the survivor, instead of being able to hit them, leave and allow the guard to continue chasing them.
Another issue is the clunkiness of his power when close to objects. Having to move backwards in order to fire a guard at a pallet/wall is bloody irritating.
Apart from that, he aint too bad. Guards could be a little quicker as the hold w completely negates them.
-
Killer should be able to damage it like a gen.
-
Think something basic like player stats and performance related rewards need adding for a sense of accomplishment and prestige. Both killer/survivor should have achievements which reward players upon completion.
For example;
Killer A
* 50 sacrifices = Weapon cosmetic
* 250 sacrifices = Outfit/skin
* 500 and so on, up to 1000 for a master cosmetic or something.
Survivors get them for;
Escapes / Unhooks / Blinds / Heals / Hatch escapes
-
1. Stop tea bagging or flashlighting the locker I'm standing in whilst injured. I have INNER HEALING!
2. If you're the last survivor and standing in the exit gate waiitng for the killer, just leave you pillock.
-
Never seem to face Dredge. Another killer that flopped.
-
Well done for stomping them. Love to see it ๐
-
As killer ill always 'try' and give players good value for money. If I've hooked them twice quickly already and the game is in my favour, I'll leave them to be revived, healed and a chance to try again. Can't afford to give too many freebies though as it can come back to bite you ๐
As survivor, if I didn't play particularly well or didn't contribute as much as someone on the hook, i ll go for a risky save and hook swap.
-
Dead Hard, because I know how it feels to be a killer and have your power momentarily rendered null and void.
-
Has to be quentin. I've played with and against a few Jonah and the bloke in the yellow coat.
Quentin doesn't exist in dbd to me. Him and Twins should get a room.
-
Not faced her once and not moaning about it ๐
-
Oni will thrive. Increased healing time and the changes to medkits will mean more blood orbs available. COH is actually quite a useful perk to face as Oni imo as the blessed totems work as blood depots which you can keep coming back to for tonnes of blood and free hits on healing/recently healed survivors.
-
I've only ever faced 3 Artists, so i look forward to seeing this by 2026 ๐
-
A much needed revert. Still useful and will still be used a decent amount, just no longer meta.
-
Yeah same here. Last week as Knight was horrendous. Went from comfortable 3k's to barely getting 1k. Lost 8 out of 10 games as Knight and the survivors were cranked, held w and just did everything right. My games to tend to fluctuate in terms of difficulty.
-
Nemesis seem to tunnel a lot, Freddie, Pig and obviously Leatherface being the campers mostly.
-
Its frustrating as you still had to chase, down and get to the hook for it to work. Granted hook swapping on a SH is pushing it a bit far, but in no way did it need gutting. I only unlocked it 3 weeks ago after prestiging Artist who I've never played .... waste of time that was / will be.
-
Play a training match v bots. You'll learn how to hit them.
-
Had a few games lately in which I've barely started moving and I can see a survivor running in the distance. Feel slightly bad for them .... slightly ๐
-
They are a little over the top. Would have rather they have addressed the mist and turned it back into fog instead of making screams prolonged.
-
Always wanted that to be a thing. Think it could have worked, especially teams could only pick each character once per trial to avoid a full team of Feng's for example. 3 perks plus there built in perk would have been cool. Specialisties could include;
Gen repair speed
Healing
Vault + Crouch speed
Chest speed + rare item boost
10% chance of a free dead hard once per trial (tough guy)
2% running speed
Faster exhaustion recovery
Saboteur
BP bonus
Hugely reduced scratch marks
Etc etc
-
Human etiquette
-
When my first guard detects a survivor and they hold W across the map.
-
Pain res at 20% or 25% would be pretty fair imo. 15% is dreadful. I only started using it less than a month ago and its been ruined already ๐
-
Seen this a few times recently, I think the icons give it away some what too. Its bloody annoying when playing as survivor and the killer takes advantage of an afk completely. As killer myself, I ll injure or down them with Oni to get my power up and let the survivors get the heal unopposed. If they came back and saw that they were hooked, they'll probably end up D/C ing which spoils it for everyone so .....
-
Would need to be a sniper surely? Given it'll have to be a 1 shot weapon. Suppose you could have a 50's gangster with a tommygun which fires a bit like Tricksters special ability.
-
Not faced her and I ain't complaining. Total fail, stick to horror next time, not sex ๐
-
@Crowman said:
I don't know if I would say it truly encouraged chases. The killer has 4 scourge hooks. If you want constant value of the perk, you want to stick close to your scourge hooks. Chasing a survivor away from your scourge hooks wouldn't make any sense.
Adding agitation did though.
-
Trickster and Skull Merchant should have been survivors. Id pick ghostface. Would be pretty amusing chasing after him, like this ๐
-
If only the games fog looked like the fog on that set ๐ฎโ๐จ
-
I don't even want it for free
-
Story mode would be quite good. 1 player v killer (ai) Only viable for killers with there own realm, which is a decent chunk of them. Each story has objectives and things to do revolving around said killers lore.
-
Depends on if you set out to tunnel or you are reactive to the opportunity to tunnel. I won't go into a game looking to tunnel one out quickly, but if I get gen rushed and/or you keep popping up in my vicinity, I'm going to keep sticking you on the hook. I do giggle at how often a player you hooked once or twice ignores your terror radius and refuses to keep away from you and then gets the hump when they get caught again ๐คจ
-
I like Dead Dawg as both. Seem to play well on that map as killer, compared to Backwater Swamp and Badham.
-
Given how hard the last 2 chapters have flopped (I love the knight btw) I think they'll be forced to pull an ace out if there sleeve aka something the community have wanted for some time such as;
Candyman - Easy win. Not a fan at all personally. Can't see the hype but for some reason he's very popular with dbd fans
Chuckie - Obviously
Jason - Obviously
Art - Wants in and was a huge hit last Halloween. Think this would be better suited to the last chapter of the year
Fnaf - Not happening as that will hack a decent amount of people off which they already have with chapter 27. Think its an option they have up there sleeves for an other time though.
Stranger Things - Fair chance of this
Popular original choice;
* Warewolf / Vampire / Pirate
Not happening;
Giraffe on rollerskates - I don't think this will happen personally.
-
Never dodge them. I'll equip a green or pink Mori if I see flashlights and play with purple oni addons if I see a load of medkits.
-
Ghostface probably.

Inner Healing has always been a good perk but with boons being as popular as they are there is anti-synergy there, and if a Mikaela ever sees you cleansing a dull totem, there'll be hell to pay.
Also screws up your team if the killer has Pentimento but that's a pretty rare perk to encounter so it's not as much if an issue.
Oh I get the finger and tetleys tea bags when I cleanse upon spawning lol ๐
I want my 1000 pts thank you very much ๐ฅธ
COH healing is as slow as self care, plus I play a lot of killer so I know how annoying those humming blue bone stacks piles are, another reason why I like IH ๐
-
Top 5 Rarest for me (UK around midnight)
1. Twins - Played about 6 ever
2 Dredge - Played about 4 ever ๐
3. Knight - Only faced 2 lol
2. Sadako - Last killer I faced funnily enough
1. Wesker - Just kidding, id say Hag. She was easily top 5 about 3 years ago, now she's dead.
Others I barely face include Freddie, Clown and Spirit. All the rest I see every so often.

4 gens can be done in 3 minutes. That's not at all viable.
I was being sarcastic ๐คจ
-
Hex: Entitlement - The killer is here for the amusement of the survivors. For every time you hit a survivor with a basic attack, they received a 5% boost to movement speed and gen repairs. Once cleansed survivors maintain any stacks they recieved whilst the hex was active.
Hex: Laws of Physics - Not many have the strength and dexterity to tank a hefty blow from a piece of heavy or motorised weaponry, least not a dainty botanist. Dead Hard will NOT activate when hit by a special weapon for as long as this hex remains.
-
Spend 3 minutes chasing each survivor and trying to get atleast 10 hooks for a clean, fun and fair win.
-
Played it as survivor and I absolutely love it. Its pretty neat for stealth/ambush killers imo. Played against a Blight last time out and he made hard work of it. I play a lot of Oni and I always hated the old variant because of the clutter and loops that were available, not tried him on the new map yet.
Love the aesthetic of the rework though ๐

๐ฟ here for the ...... lack of comments ๐
It would be fantastic. Magic as a killer power in something Id like to see. Choice of spells which have various effects such as a range attack and a curse etc. Dementor would be a good killer but Voldermort would be top bins.
As for the reason why this won't happen. Too much negative press with the franchise, don't need to explain what, but this community would be split hard by it if it was talked about happening. Nothing controversial gets into this game, that's for sure.
Would be phenomenonal though ๐

Pretty much in the same boat. I'm escaping in solo's every 7th match id say. I give a good account of myself in solos but there's only so much one can do. Last night was a classic example. Got stomped by a Wraith who had 3 hooks at 5 gens. I then play as Knight and got to 3 gens with 0 hooks lol. Managed to turn it around and get a 3k before letting the last live, but what a sweatfest I find all games as Oni and Knight.
