The knights perks have been in the last 2 shrines despite only just coming out.
-
Well done and thanks for pasting them ๐
-
If I broke into BHVR HQ, I'd reset Coldwind back to its original variant for a start ๐
As for Skull Merchant, its a blatant 2nd attempt at pleasing the horny community, which is a sizeable chunk of the fanbase if twitter is anything to go by. But look at it this way, this is a horror game, and we got Skull Merchant before;
* Werewolf
* Pirate
* Vampire
* Witch (Killer version)
* Jason
Hopefully its back to horror next time out.

Every killer would be polled weak if the forum is any indicator. Kills isnt the best way to balance but im not sold on anything else right now
Well if they saw the feedback in regards to certain killers and there playstyles, perhaps they might act upon them. If say Knight got ranked 2nd weakest to play and 2nd most boring, they could think about reworks and avoid making those mistakes in future chapters.
-
Endangered perhaps, but no. Exposed has been the term used since the games inception so should probably be left alone.
-
Some alternative game modes could include;
1. Hardcore (No terror radius, red stain, auras and limited HUD.
2. First person perspective
3. Perkless (perks can be found in game and equipped)
4. Switch repairing generators for crafting/finding parts to build a raft to escape an island (alternative to gens and exit gates) farfetched idea lol
5. 2 v 8 (Frequently suggested)
-
Would like to see them introduce a poll so that players can rate how good, bad, fun or boring a kilker is to play as/against.
-
As an Oni main, I prefer the old DH.

Which is all things SWF already had access too
All it did was bridge the gap between Solo and SWF by giving them information they should of had to begin with.
Disagree entirely.
I liked the challenge of not knowing where survivors were or what they were doing, its called playing solo. Being a solo is often challenging, but that was a pull for me. If I wanted tonnes of in game info to make the game easier, id have seeked to join a swf team.
Might aswell have in match commentary now talking me through the game. The spontinuity has completely gone.
-
There's the horror seeking players within the community still and there are the horny bunch. This is BHVR's second stab at pleasing the second group.
Hopefully back to horror next ๐
-
I got mostly criticised for calling it training wheels mode. The info is far too much imo and spoils the spontinuity of the game. If they wanted to buff solos, just make kindred basekit.
" I hope the last gen pops whilst im on this hook "
= Now we can see when it will finish ๐
" I wonder if the exit gates are open "
= ECG has started and there's another exit gate icon, both are done, safe as houses.
"Ahh, I ll go stand next to the exit gate switch because the last gen is 85% done ..... easy this.
Don't want my hand held in survivor games, but that's exactly what these icons do. Brilliant for new players, kinda op for experienced ones.

Escape merchant

How do you tell knights guards to do all that baiting and faking? How do you fake a demon strike as Oni?
List is fine for m1 plays, but there's more to the game than just basic m1's. Killers are having there whole powers negated at the click of a button.
-
-
Wanting to nurf a C tier killer lol
-
Hold W from corner to corner and you'll pi55 all over the knight. Try and loop him, and he'll rinse you instead.
He's utterly useless against hard w players. His only strength is holding a late game 3 gen for 20 minutes, waiting for a survivor mistake.
I've only ever faced 2 of them, so can't even call him boring to play against lol. I love playing him, although games take bloody ages ๐
-
There's no bigger kick in the teeth playing as an m1 killer, eating pallet after pallet only to finally get within striking range when they take a wrong turn, only to get screwed over by the click a button to deny you a hit. Its more annoying than losing to noed or being flashlight saved ๐
-
1. Aesthetic is awful. She's one for the horny community, not the horror bunch.
2. Power is dull and is built for boring 3 gen gameplay
3. People wanted a cybrorg/Skeleton esc killer and instead got a character who wouldn't look out of place in warzone
4. Lazy mori
5. Her walk animation ......
-
Didn't even know what the event was. Explains why my last 3 games were on those maps ๐
-
Always wanted a killer to have a power that could negate flashlights. Knight could have used his shield for instance.
Pyramid Head and Wesker should be immune to flashlights imo.

then dont go for the box
if all hes gonna do is camp it you can slowly get gens done if youre careful and smart
The chain hunt went on for like 10 mins. All 4 of us managed to group up but jeez, the gens took like 5 mins each. He barely left the box all game. He only stepped out when he injured someone going for the box.
-
Some flashlight users (squads) are very good with them and I've had games in which ive been flashed multiple times despite trying to avoid them by spinning away as I pick them up. They often burn map offerings in which they can exploit areas of it just to spite you. They're strong, damaging to your game and annoying, especially when your playing as a weaker killer. I find that more flashlighters are generally good, instead of bad. The only positive is, they're not on gens, but then again, flashlight sqauds will usually have 1 or 2 doing gens whilst 1 goes for the save.
-
Played v one yesterday that ran the addon which reveals his puzzle box, and insideous. Annoying af ๐
-
I won't play survivor at all that week so I don't have to face Natasha from Apex. Roll on chapter 28 ๐
-
Try playing as Knight against a hold w squad. As Mr T would say ..... Pain.
If they don't hold W, you can wipe teams out with him.
-
Just stumbled across this on a streamers vid page. Quite helpful tbh. How to counter GF
-
Had this a lot recently. I litterally will stomp teams for 2 or 3 games 1 night, often letting the last have the hatch. Then the next night, I get swarming swat squads that have the answer to absolutely everything I throw at them and leave me in heap.

This. Definitely makes a difference.
Also, didn't they rework him so that only 1 survivor can reveal him at one time, perhaps another survivor was looking at him?
-
What a random post. I love the village, the creatures genuinely spooked the hell out of me as a kid. Horribly ruined when there big secret was revealed ๐
Can't think of any perks for them, but its a very simple chapter to add albeit an underwhelming one. Village map, two obvious survivors and a frightening looking killer who wasn't actually a killer, but a deterrent.
-
Its a well know taunt and some people don't like being taunted. Simple really.
-
Inner Healing. 8 second heal which can be earned and held until needed. Combines well with head on and annoys boon users ๐

What do you mean? You can't bodyblock the hunted survivor.
What I mean is. When a guard chases a survivor, I sometimes block the path of the survivor to hold them up in an attempt that the guard catches up and gets a hit. Effectively like jockeying in football
-
I only bodyblock with the knight as its a design fault he has (hit first and you lose hunt)
-
No way would I surrender a 4th perk just to counter a survivor item. If I see flashlights, im picking a mori or closer hook spawns.
-
Hag was a very frequent killer about 2 or 3 years ago for me, now she's very rare to face.
-
Renders a killers power useless at the click of a button. I play Oni and Knight, both of whom get screwed over by it. Guard triggers it or I land a demon strike which ends up doing nothing and wasting my power gauge. Having to sniff a survivors backside waiting for its usage is rather ridiculous also.
-
I had 90% flip flop and was around 10 metres from the basement stairs. The killer still managed to hook me despite not missing a wiggle check.
Think its only useful for checking killers that are going for long distance hook placements such as tactical or Pain Res
-
Garbage chapter, won't be buying.
-
Badham as Oni is usually a horror show. I usually get beat convincingly as Oni and Knight on the swamp maps too. I seem to do really well on Dead Dawg, Ormond and Lery's though. Only played on Garden of Joy 3 times, winning one them thanks to tunneling.

True everyone's complain that she wears normal clothes like legion and ghostface aren't just regular people with hoodies, cheap Halloween costumes, plastic masks and knifes
Legion is the most boring killer to face because it is like running from a survivor. No drama, no tension, no intimidation, no atmosphere, no horror.
-
I don't see ANY camping at all. Tunneling is at a bit of low for me too. It must be an MMR or time of day thing .....
I genuinely can't remember the last time I was heavily camped on the hook or saw a face camper.
-
I swear it knows what addons/offerings you like. I can go through levels without top knot in my Oni webs. Thankfully Knights best ones are yellow and Brown so have a warehouse full.

Is it? The only other killer I can think of whose name doesn't fit their power or design is trickster.
If people asked someone who didn't know anything about the game, what they thought the killers names were, they'll never get anywhere near Trickster or Skull Merchant.
-
Played 5 games on Tues night and 3 of them were gen rushed. Oni is a slow starter and Knight is hot and cold depending how quick the survivors press W

Not every killer should be Nurse/Blight level.
Its pretty horrendous that there are 2 killers out of 27 that can withstand a full strength sweat squad. Not all killers should be S, but having only 2 is poor variety.

Skull Merchant isn't a cyborg, though...?
I'm like 99% sure that's a mech arm that she's wearing, not a part of her body.
How's she a skull merchant anyway? She has 4 and they're all the same. Knight has nearly as many guards as she has skulls.
-
Not touching it. Will carry on playing Knight instead.
-
* Shipwreck with brigg and multiple floors.
* Funfair
* Hawkins remake (probably club)
* Egyptian tomb
* Desert island with boats instead of exit gates ๐คฉ

Hit someone, runs you on a pallet tour. Ditch the chase, the people working on generators pre-run to some ridiculously safe set up. Takes ten years to get a hit and down them, try to tunnel the guy since nobody else is making mistakes. Oh never mind they get 50 body blocks and have dead hard. Tell me exactly how you have any chance to win let alone not go insane from this?
Its like listening to a rerunof my knight matches last night ๐คฃ

Could be bhvr doing there own take on Predator or inspired on it.
* Skull merchant (Predator is a trophy hunter)
* Has some kind of laser device in the eye (Predator has his shoulder laser)
* The logo is similar
* The crate could contain his weaponry (Comes prepared, like the do for taking on Aliens)
