I thought the summer one (5th anniversary) would be licensed. It'll be a character from a game that was popular 20 years ago I reckon. Hope it's Ruyk or Creeper, something a bit more fierce than the hobbling bloke and scary mary.
Intrigued as to what power/ability they can think of next, what haven't done yet.
-
I find that people who play either are generally quite good. I don't escape from too many of either. Myers is probably better with his tier 3 ability.
-
With Trapper i ll just stand there and spam the trap pick up and place mechanic. I've also seen examples where the killer has stood still or walked off, and a survivor body blocks another survivor at the last second to get them grabbed by the entity. Long shot but ya never know.
-
It's nice with Haunted grounds, although that's 50% of your perk build used up :/
-
A good example is the Hawkins lab. One gen is located well out of the way, keeping that one ticked over gives the killer a lot of extra walking. It's a good gen to leave till late in the game.
-
Not played against them yet. Was the same for Oni, literally played v him once on release day and then never again for about a year.
-
My traps send there regards OP 🥳
-
I treat every player as a skilled solo player.
-
Could be an angle grider instead. Can't think of any unique features of another chainsaw killer. Plenty of other weapons not used yet;
Mace
Pike
Spear
Crossbow
Sledgehammer
Flame
-
A face camping killer should always get 2 kills minimum.
-
I love me some sour grapes. Well played btw 👏
-
Unintimidating killers. Blight and Twins aren't that threatening or intimidating. Would like a few more like Oni tbh.
-
Yeah I play as him and im sick if being broken out of it by someone behind 3 rocks and a few bushes or a slugged/hooked survivor. He's great fun to play as and against, but his NS reveal is all over the place, for both sides that is.
-
99% sabo was a waste of time. Not many regrets tbh. Maybe don't drop pallets so early also.
-
If GF attacked stealthily, then this is how GF's ability should work. Why should a downed, hooked or carried survivor break him out of NS after he managed to sneak up and take the player down.

Looping is why I like playing Trapper. He shuts them down really well. I just wish he was faster at setting his web and wouldn't lose 3 gens when he finishes preparing.
Yeah played as Trapper last night and hooked all players 3 times, I wiped the floor with them. They still managed to pop 3 gens. Had they looped me and gave me grief, id have lost easily.

And it is. I stress every killer game I play at red ranks. I have never been stressed playing another game in my life. It’s how you are pitted against an entire team by yourself, with nothing but your own skill to rely on
There In lies the excitement and the challenge in my book. It's what keeps us coming back. If it was easy well .....
-
I'm a big fan of cod and dbd and play both atm. Play more dbd currently. Got hooked again, litterally 🤣
Yeah OP, what are you on about?
-
You are playing the roll of a killer? Why are you questioning the concept of nastiness? 😅
-
I've gone back countless times and been caught out. I mostly go back but last night i didn't because I needed 1 more escape to complete tome and daily challenge plus i was already injured.
-
Played last night and noticed the same. Got a few downs but 1 or 2 of them litterally escaped within a second of being trapped.
-
You'll laugh at this bit then.
The game before this one, I did exactly the same, avoided trapper all game, all others got hooked twice, fixed 2 gens, 1 save, 1 disarm and then got dropped and mori'd by Devour Hope the only time he got close to me 😫
He earned it though.
-
I played perfectly last night against a huntress. Avoided her all game, repaired 2 gens, 2 saves and then got hit by noed with about 3 seconds of exit gate left as she was camping a hooked survivor just yards away. Didn't deserve to lose that match. Annoying perk but it's a part of the game, just had to suck it up. Not sure how it can be changed.
-
Trapper can carry up to 5 traps, but his movements speed deteriorates the more traps he is carrying, but he becomes quicker the fewer traps he is carrying. This makes the bags no longer needed and players can then pick setting tools and use darkened add ons instead. With several traps placed, he is slighlty quicker than nornal meaning he can m1 more lethally. Makes him instantly stronger
-
Dexterity - You have weathered previous battles well thus you are built to take a hit A Whilst injured, you have 3% 4% 5% chance that the next melee attack doesn't put you into the dying state.
-
I litterally only play those 3 🤣
-
Doctor and Freddie as they have annoying abilities.
I love playing against trapper as I main him, so its fun playing the on the other side of the coin with him. GF and Myers are fun for jump scares.
-
Pink Surv item - Mini radar
"Is that bleep/dot that is moving towards me the killer or a survivor?"
Would work like a map, when activated, a watch or device shows a radar of say a 40m radius.
-
GF - Buff and a nerf to Night Shroud
Buff - NS only breaks if you miss an attack, allowing you to chain attacks without conceding your location. Dying survivors and hooked survivors can't consequently break you out of NS either. GF needs to be physically broken out of NS or he misses attack.
Nerf - Increase the recovery rate to balance the improvement gains to NS.
-
GF is really fun at lower and mid ranks, but he's so prone to being bullied by clued up survivors and poor map rng. He needs a decent rework imo.
I prefer the hit and run style without wasting time stalking. Hit and recover. Crouching sucks cos you can't see anything that low and standing up let's you get broken out of NS.

I won't deny that Ryuk, a God of Death, has surely killed countless people (it's sort of his job). However, from what I remember reading through Death Note, he only kills one person throughout all 12 books (at the very end of the series).
He's not a slasher or survival horror icon and probably wouldn't really be a sensical fit for the game. As hilarious as it would be to run from a killer brandishing a weaponized notebook...
What about if he caught a survivor, his ability could force the survivor to pick the obsession or who he can mori. Can pick the claudette who aint doing a lot 😏
-
Just discovered Ruyk on Netflix and straight away I thought he'd make a great killer on dbd.
-
Need new maps for sure. Current ones getting on a bit now. Got plenty of un tapped ideas.
-
The easy part of the survivor role is that the killer can have to chase 3 other players before even targeting/chasing you. I've had games where I've not encountered the killer all game because the other 3 wasted his time and I got gens done. The killer has to play close to perfect to win the game, the survivors at times only need to aim and hold r1.
-
Kuarto
-
Does it even matter? What does sexuality have to do with repairing gens and looping? I play Jake because I picked him from day 1, I don't care what he likes sexually or what his political stance is.
-
Take noed and a green/pink mori just incase you get walked over or survivors are being toxic towards you if you're struggling a bit, you can atleast get some kills and some revenge. Not nice trying a new killer and being taunted by survivors with purple meta perks. I tried Demo a couple of days ago and thankfully survivors weren't too t baggy.
Said it for a while now. Game needs a training ring so you can at the very least practice new killer movements and abilities.
-
Design, imo by far the worst they've made lately, not fit to lace Oni's boots. Power is clever, but I don't fancy playing as a baby crawler from total recall for half the game. Back to back skips for me.
-
They'll change it. Too many people offended by it. Im more offended how ugly and unwantable Charlotte is. 2 killers in a row im not buying for the first time since owning the game.
-
I just got 3 out of 4 on cold wind again although noed earned me most of that lol. Again, was outranked but not severely.
Looking forward to the mmr then :)

Total recall, and it was on film four and sky movies last week lol

I made a suggestion back in June for a killer with multiple bodies. I believe the devs listened. HYPE!
Same here. I was thinking alone the lines of a hollowgram and some other ai assistance. Nice when your ideas kinda get used.

Cringing heck, what a post lmao.
For what it's worth I queue solo red almost all day and constantly get survivors above rank 10, I don't get the point in this post, the whole queueing with low rank friends to get low ranked killers hasn't worked for a year yet people keep clinging to it for some reason.
Actually, that's not true. I played last week against a bunch of rank 2's and the third was rank 19 and was significantly weaker. I thought nothing of it, but perhaps that was a ploy all along. I was rank 10 or 11.
-
The trailer looked like a spirit rip off. People said that Blight was going to be a werewolf and that pyramid head was alien, so hopefully the trailer was deceptive
-
The killer paid for the game, they can play how they want within the rules. I've never let a killer bleed out but if it's what they want to do, so be it. Not exactly minus 500 iq after all little miss bitter.
-
The survivor probably looped the killer for 4 minutes and wasted there time, thus the killer returns the favour.
-
Does anyone else deliberately position themselves in front of a window or vault which occasionally makes the killer step over it?
I still 🤣🤣 so much when they do

Mummy spirt or Mr Freeze

Crawling away and laying in long grass is smart, wastes killers time trying to find you if you can a good distance. Also, Crawling to a pallet for a potential pallet stun makes sense.
Both recover and moving have there advantages.
-
Breakdown is a anti tunneling perk also.
Was thinking about having some kind of survivor perk or ability that acted like a 3 or 4 second invisibility cloak once saved to enable them to escape.
Tunneling is partly the fault of the survivor for unhooking safely.
