  • just walk around in circles and it should prevent crows.

  • Balanced Landing : I use it regularly, and my main complaint about it is that it doesn't trigger in several spots, and some maps have very few ways to activate it. Overall tho, it's a great perk nonetheless in the current state.

Small Game : I also use that perk regularly. I feel like it's strong enough in its state.

BT & UE : I don't consider these two perks as OP, at all. They're pretty good, but right where the balance should be.

Lightborn is also quite fine in the current state.

About your other suggestions, it simply lacks details to tell.

I did post quite a few of my rework ideas in here if you're interested, with some more details.

  • Favorite : Azarov.
    Least Favorite : Haddonfield

I always bring moris and when you mori the first guy, they're always like ' oh #########" and be a bit more careful toward me.

    I love that feeling.
When a full team tries to bully you, and suddendly, when 4 gens left, you mori the first guy on the ground as the other 3 were waiting for you to pick up to flash/bodyblock. And they just stand here, watching like "#########" and running away to the nearest gen.

  • I don't mind, unless it's a full SWF going apeshit on my hooks for 10mins.
Then I just go on a slugfest!

  • Balanced Landing and Small game. Ofc.

  • Make him visible at all times.
Make him able to hit awake survivors.
He would still be able to put survivors to sleep
    24 meter terror radius.
    Heartbeat sounds when not asleep.
Lullaby when asleep, non directional, without sound increase if he's close to make it harder to read.
Make Freddy to "Blink" and disappear sporadically from the survivor's prospective when in dream mode, especially if the survivor stays asleep for an extended period of time.
Remove his Aura reading ability out of heartbeat.

That would be my simple (but efficient, imo) rework for Freddy

Will the devs ever do something about it? It legit [BAD WORD] sucks when an entire team quick-switches when you're playing as Killer. When it happens, you know you're just gonna run in circles the entire match. I just leave the match. Devs made rank totally worthless anyways.

I've discussed that matter with Horvath.
He told me they were considering a 15s timer after locking up the survivor for the killer to gear himself accordingly.

    Proof : https://imgur.com/a/nbQQhxG

  • Hag is awesome.
And she does work, even at high ranks.
Definitely in the top 3/4 killer in the game once you're used to her.

  • We'll make it - Best altruist perk atm.
Iron Will - Mandatory for Stealth builds.
Self-care - A must to be able to heal stealthily
Lithe - One of the best tool, if not the best, to lose a killer in a chase.

  • She would more likely be a survivor, and would be released with a huge black killer.

  • I agree, a timeout for disconnecting from the game should be a thing.

  • @HUNGRY_AS_A_HIPPY said:
There are a lot of killers who post on the Steam forums that pallet looping needs to be removed/limited (and I agree!).

However, I’ve also read some hateful comments from killers about survivors playing stealthy and completing the objectives without the killer being able to find any of them, which makes them a “pussy (cat)”.

I don’t know about anyone else, but for me, I’d much prefer enter a trial as the killer and have survivors play in a stealthy way than have them jump out in a look-at-me-look-at-me-chase-me-catch-me-if-you-can way.

What about you? Do you prefer survivors who want to run you around the place while the others do the generators, or would you prefer survivors who stay hidden and complete the objectives? To me, survivors who are loud are just annoying and are looking to die.

The real solution would be to allow some room for MINDGAMES to pallets.
Make the mindgames to be survivor/killer favored depending on the position, to balance it out, but still. It has to leave a room for prediction and moreso : SKILL.

Stealth isn't quite looked down by the majority of killer players. The only bad thing about stealth is when survivors are simply hiding while not accomplishing anything for an extended period of time (Or holding the game hostage when you're the last survivor left)

That's why I think there should be WAY more vision blocking obstacles in the game, both for stealth purpose, and mindgame purpose for both the killer and survivor, because at the moment, more than half the pallets do allow full vision on the killer, allowing survivor to simply react accordingly and instantly to the killer's movement, rather than having to predict and actually make CHOICES. Which obviously leaves no room to the killer's potential as long as the survivor play accordingly.

  • They reworked a lot of animations, but mostly stances and running animations, such as Billy/Wraith, and the way they hold their weapon, too.
    Trapper didn't change much.

What changed is the FoV, and the view of the weapon over the time, since they did change the position of the camera.

  • They reworked most of Wraith animations, including his running stance

As the wiki says, it only affects POSITIVELY

So this effected by tinkerer on the Cicada shouldn't be there?

It should give you benefits instead of a downside, very possibly. Or at least compensate it a bit.
According to the description that is.

SB needs to force the survivor to run for a certain amount of time before triggering. (5s sounds enough)
Devs are actually considering that option.

as a SB user, i see this as a buff and not nerf, now idk how it will work, if i stopped sprinting before it triggers would it reset the counter of 5 secs? if yes, then totally a buff for SB, because i can now sprint for 4 secs, stop sprinting, back again to sprint, as if nothing happened, muscle memory to get used to it.

Yup, that would be a benefit for sure.
But it would have way more downsides overall.
It's not like the perk need to be trashed anyway.
Lithe is also quite strong, but pretty balanced, right ?

nvidia Ansel? cause these colors are bright and clear af

Possibly. If I recall, I was doing some testing with the lighting while doing my rituals, leading to way too bright sceneries. I actually put back the brightness to nearly the same as basis one, but just slightly reduced the blur now since the blur was actually hurting my eyes for average to long killer sessions.

  • Trapper needs several things.
Including not having his traps spawning in far corners of the maps.
Possibly having more traps basis in his hands.
Allowed to replace traps already on the ground.
And possibly make them to blend more in the environment, like, give traps different colors when they're in some maps such as Lerys and The Game, because at the moment, they're just WAY too visible in these maps.

  • None.
    They're all despicable creatures.

  • It has been tested on the PTB.
Like everything, Survivors abused this, by forcing the killer to stay in the hook vicinity (by showing around but not commiting), putting the killer at a disadvantage while it should be the complete opposite, considering the situation.

Oh, so we're back with the bait threads.
    Great.

Good to see old habits don't die.

Someone actually flagged you? I've been having people downvote my stuff for no real reason.

I think someone on here is a little antsy with these buttons lmao

    I don't know.
    I don't mind.
I'm not here to be loved by people anyway.

Flagging people for no reason is bannable if you do it constantly.

And your message didn't break any rule anyway.

People just don't like me being blunt with my opinions.
I'm used to that fact, and ready to face the consequences anyway.

This thread is clearly here to start a war and heated discussions, especially considering what happened with Marth88 experiment and the (quite obvious) trouble genrushing can cause since day 1.

It's like "Yeah, we know genrushing is a thing, but you don't have to rub it in people's face to make them to react just for the sake of getting reactions out of it."
    It's not helping anyone.

  • If we were on the steam forums, I would say "You mom knowns".
    But in here ?
Let's say something PC like : "Provide electricity for poor children in Africa"

  • Mostly to prevent Myers to kill everyone with the old machine gun while in the basement.
Now they nerfed machine gun, but "forgot" to buff back the rest.

Not to mention that Myers point generation is absolute garbage, while it used to be super good.

  • The emblem system isn't perfect, but it's far better than the old system.
Some dude made a poll on the steam forums, and the vast majority prefered the current system.

You should have made a poll on this thread.

  • Out of my way :
If you hit someone on the way to the hook with a survivor on your shoulder, immediatly inflict dying state.

It would give survivors the same kind of stupid mindgames that we have as killer : "Does he have dead hard or not ? Should I hit or not ?"

  • Not sure what sadness is. It's too long gone, my friends have all left the game in 2016.

  • Survivor :
    Balanced Landing
    Small Game
    Self-care
Iron Will or WGLF depending on my mood.

    Killer :
    I play full meta.

  • Not to mention :
    They are actually working on giving perks to newcomers level 1 characters and make a new tutorial. But they did choose to make a free week-end BEFORE, which is very questionnable;

  • requires HTTPs
requires custom avatars to make it able to recognize people you talk to.
They need to make the username to be more visible.
And make a limitations between each comments because it's not quite clear atm.

  • @Murf said:
Their reply is in the form of the videos and streams. Where they address the most current pressing issues, people always say the streams have no content, but the devs cover big issues every time.

They do not 'show no action' the weekly streams and videos are proof of that. By talking to the community this way it gets out tom more people than a post here and there on the forums.

Considering the current state of the game, I think the doubts about devs actually reading the community requests (as well as the fact that a lot of devs admitted not to have even NOTICED the 4k answers THREAD that has been a trend for MONTHS on steam forums) are legitimate.

When we asked to the devs, in the stream questions, about that SWF petition thread of WK5, they just said "they never ever heard about it but they're gonna take a look at it". Maybe you're believing them when they say they actually read stuff, I just know I don't.

In my opinion, and considering the answer I got from Horvath and NQ on our discord, my opinion about their relation to steam forums is restricted to this : they get a few questions for their stream, picked by mods (such as yourself), and answer it on the stream and consider it "a day".

Welp, then it would be normal to normalize the factor for the survivors :
    Dying : Double depip
    Mori'ed : Depip
    Escaping : Pip
Escaping while repairing more than 3 gens : Double Pip.

This would honestly just make gen rushing a complete nightmare lmao

Do you mean how the game is supposed to be played in the first place ?
People aren't supposed to ######### around as much as they do now, and they're supposed to repair asap to get out.

At least with that kind of ranking (with rank rewards), you'd have PROPER STATS to show to people, rather than memein' stats.

    It's not happening tho.
I doubt devs will revert their emblem system. They tend to never revert anything that they actually decently "polished" or decided.

Devs didn't check steam forums in the first place.
Not sure what made you think so.

Very rarely would you get actual dev responses on the Steam forum, but it did happen occasionally.

    Back in 2016 yeah.
The last response from devs to date is Not_Queen saying "I'm Hyped for the next PTB content, are you, too ?"
If you consider that an answer (or more like, an useful one), welp, I guess devs are "indeed" participating.

I actually "participate" in other steam forums such as Darkest Dungeon or Dead Cells or even Slay the Spire ones, and devs ACTUALLY answers there, on a daily basis, even tho they're indie devs.

I don't say this to be mean to devs, it's just factual, since I'm on these forums for ages now, and I see threads asking things to devs about everyday, and not a single one of them is being answered/addressed.

If I recall didn't the devs essentially say people are too mean on Steam lmao

They also told, on steam forums, to come around here.
As a matter of fact, more than half the people I see here are people from the steam forums. And a good portion of them are even BANNED (KEK) ones from these forums.

Not sure what they actually expect.
People aren't mean for free. I'm on several forums, and even if some people are just mean for the sake of being mean, if most people are "mean" to you, there's probably a reason behind it, and "moving to another place" won't fix the matter.

  • My idea about DS was pretty simple :
    Get the original skillcheck back.
Make the skillcheck harder for non-obsession.
Using DS gets you in a state where you cannot be healed.
Everytime you let the skillcheck "to go" without using it, the next skillcheck will be harder to hit. Make this extra hard for non-obsessions.

Basically, the skillcheck would be somewhat decently easy on the first pick-up, but would become harder and harder as the game goes on if you want to keep it for the lategame. So you'd have to make the choice of either getting away and be wounded for the rest of the round, or keep it for when it could actively save your life, but risk to miss it due to its actual difficulty.

    That's it.
