Yeah and then you go in cornfield you turn into a blind man .

I don't see the difference between Hag and other killers in that regard. The lower FOV hag has is actually very convenient to see through cracks, and find crouching survivors in the cornfields, as well as see through planks in generator spots.
Not sure what's your point right there.

    Hag>Huntress.

Huntress is extremely overrated because she can stop some loops. She still gets destroyed by any tall loop, the auto-haven trucks, low movement speed, nonexistent tracking ability. She has a good chase on some maps but, honestly stopping some loops does not make a killer A tier.

Hag on the other hand has the superior map control due to her traps, a much smaller window to hide especially with monitor and abuse, the ability to get a free hit on a fairly large number of loops. The only thing huntress is better at is time management and chases on a select few maps. Hag is the better killer she just takes much more time to learn.

So tell me hag in coldwind farm

Each killer has its own weakpoints . bringing the fact that tall loops counters huntress doesn't have anything to do with hag .

The point is huntress has so many weaknesses compared to hag. Hag sucks on coldwind sure but, she excels on the majority of the other maps. Huntress has something on almost every single map that messes with her. Coldwind has the loops around the hay bales, Auto-haven has the trucks, etc; Huntress simply does not have the ability to succeed in a game with lots of stealth players, she can't win on certain maps unless the survivors royally mess up. Huntress is absolutely horrible at everything except chases but even then some loops can ruin the match for her. She's extremely overrated.

Why would Hag sucks in coldwind ? She's small and rather hard to spot. With M&A, she has no trouble sneaking on survivors. The main juking spot of half coldwind map is the shack, and the shack is a wonderful place for Hag, especially if it has basement. (Aka Rottenfields, one of her best map)

It would be nice to discuss Hag gameplay with people ACTUALLY playing her, rather than doing some theory on "what is supposedly happening at high ranks against her"

In front of actual survivors, no killer stands a chance except maybe for Nurse with NOED, the only thing that actually killed the Depip squad.

Tho, these guys were more than decent, usually 2k+ hours and a lot of them with (legit) Legacy.

You can try to deny the facts all you want tho. Everyone is free to have an opinion, after all.

And yes, some survivors get "ruined", as Hag is actually good at NOT LETTING PEOPLE GET AWAY FROM HER, which can lead to some people having pretty poor scores overall. Having a bad rounds doesn't equal being a bad player.

But as I said, think what you want. I'd be glad to have a Hag buff, like most hag players around.

Its not just about " depip squad" with the survivors score on the screenshots it means that they didn't even repair 2 gens and get the hatch spawned . that means altruistic survivors . I have a lot of game where i don't get to even move away from hooked person because someone s right beside me . those type of survivors don't count for judging a killer being strong . from all screenshots you have there is only 1 of them that can possibly be a good example of survivors which we can't really tell because of the fact we don't know what happens in that mach and which map it was .

So when survivors get 10-16k they didn't repair 2 gens ?
    Your logic is kinda flawed.

I agree with your list but the hag. the hag needs a big rework. she needs this tbh.

-give her the same movement speed as a normal killer or add " Mud spots or pools" on the map where the had is faster in and slows down the enemy.

    • The Hag should honestly have her marks engraved into her hand, instead of setting, she should be able to slap her hand down and place that mark.

I think people do not play enough against experienced Hags to suggests thing like this.
    You're just madmen.

"Class C" in your opinion. For a lot of experienced killers, she's actually considered as very strong when properly used.
I'm not sure about my "luck" when I can consistently 3-4k at rank 1 with her.

You see the point is even if that come up still hag isn't as good as killers like billy , nurse , huntress . I'm talking about a change that can actually make her playable in front of so many good survivors out there . honestly when I play against hag I think I'm the killer . first I try to find her on map then the fun begins . I juke her for ages . especially when it comes to maps like coldwind farm . so even if vacuum is gonna change that's not gonna turn her from ship to worshiped O_o

I consider Hag to be as strong, if not strongest than Huntress.
I play her regularly at rank 1.

She's just hard to play and VERY hard to learn.

  • The vacuum removal is actually gonna gonna be a huge hag buff tbh.

  • A change to sprint burst (at least requiring a few seconds of running before it activates) would be the first step.

Then, either slightly more speed or distance would actually be really nice additions, as it would efficiently allow to punish some large loops with some ambush mindgames.

  • "Lists" are (sadly) not allowed, as it would be naming and shaming which is forbidden.
Yes, it may protects some "cheaters" and "hackers", but it also protects people that are falsely accused.

  • Pretty much the same tier list as yours.
I'd put Hag above Huntress in the current state of the game tho, due to the introduction of small loops that are really hurting her.

  • Being disturbing is the whole point of Hag traps.
It's part of the mecanic itself.
Disabling it would be a NERF.

  • The nerf had some good potential. But it needed to be polished some more, especially for multiple DS using teams.

I don't consider DS to be fine only for a matter of balance.
    DS isn't fun. At all.
It just feels wrong to get punished, especially early game, for catching someone.
Not to mention it allows non-obsession to get caught next to the basement, and to wiggle off before being hooked there, which is basically rewarding a huge mistake with some HUGE benefits.

Not to mention one easy thing :
Being obsession should NOT allow you to survive LONGER.
Obviously, Dying Light makes this statement arguable, but Dying Light is underused and arguably VERY weak. And most killer obsession perks also EXTEND the obsession's life, which doesn't feel quite right.

I think spending a perk slot, a painting a target on your back is fine for a single extra health state. It doesn’t punish the killer at all, that would suggest the killer did something wrong. It’s merely a bonus health state for a perk slot.

If it worked only for obsession (my nerf idea for DS is its own thread) it would be fine. Pallet looping a four used makes it ridiculous.

This "bonus state" is huge as it can break all the momentum a killer has on a game.
Not to mention that a single health state, in the early game, can cost you 1-2 gens easily.

You're gonna tell me "Well, don't chase the obsession first then", and I'll tell you my previous argument : Why should an obsession perk be protecting a survivor while it should be BOTH a benefit and a downside ? At the moment, it's ONLY a benefit, and it's fundamentally wrong.

No, I’m gonna tell you my opinion is based on needs to survivor I discussed on another thread, and that DS only does that because of looping. The problem is looping, which shouldn’t be a thing.

They should make chases shorter and with more LOS breakers or blockers that prevent the killer from catching up as fast.

The problem is not only looping.
No looping doesn't always mean shorter chases. Some people can actually juke efficiently without looping.
It takes more skill, for sure. But DS Overly rewards it, too.
I don't consider that chases should be made shorter overall, as I still think the survivor skill should be relevant. But still, DS just allows way too much time wasting, especially early game, and is a nice protection for the DS user, while it should be both a bonus AND a downside to have such perks, considering it's an obsession perk.

  • You need to move slightly.
You cannot self-care as you move. Just make sure you move and it will automatically unhook.

  • +1
This may become a huge issue, especially paired with SWF + Sprint Burst.

Not to mention the POINTS you get for pallets stun rescues, that are just enormous, as well as a stack of WGLF.

Leatherface's power design has been pretty faulty since day 1.

It's rather bland and unnefficient. He's basically a nerf Billy with an AoE and an harder to miss rush, but that slows you down.

I don't quite get the appeal for this guy, especially since he's TALLER than Billy, making him easier to spot during a lot of loops, especially because he's YELLOW.

Suprisingly he’s also the tallest character IN THE GAME. This limits his power to mindgame the survivors even more, as you can see him over most obstacles in maps such as Autohaven Wreckers.

It also grants him the spot as the worst killer in DBD as even Freddy and The Hag are stronger than him.

I believe he needs a rework like The Doctor Cube (Not the highly disappointing Wraith Cube) so that better ranks are able to play him and be able to rank up. He needs to be made a viable killer.

    REWORK IDEA:
•Remove the slow down at the beginning of the animation and make the charge start with a small speed burst and then a slight slow down.
This will make him better for mindgames as he could use the beginning charge to his advantage.

    EXAMPLE:
Leatherface is in a loop with a survivor. If he does not try any mindgames, he will have a huge disadvantage in the chase. If he were to fake going towards the boxes, and then use the chainsaw’s speed boost to dash towards Meg, he could cancel it and use his mallet to take a free swing. For comparison, let’s say that this is how far the lunge would travel.

This would be a great addition to his power, and it would benefit greatly to Leatherface’s strength.

What I'd actually like for his power is :
Interrupting the usual rush, by pressing M2, would make him to DASH forward with his chainsaw, over, let's say, 8 meters, downing any survivor it hits. No more AoE tho, just single target.

It would give him some tricks and mindgames, as well as a jumpscare factor.

Not sure about your opinion about the Hag tho.
In my eyes, Hag is easily in the top 4 of killers in the current meta. And the removal of the vacuum will make her even more effective.

Really? That's crazy. I don't watch the streams etc anymore as they just wind me up.
So I'm better off splitting them up for evil gain?

You actually stalk as fast as you stalk several persons, than you do when you stalk only one.
Some people say it's draining twice the amount tho. Hard to confirm without proper testing and I don't play MM to be sure.

What I know is : MM used to charge very quickly when stalking several survivors and it's gone now, even tho they nerfed both his point generation and his perks

  • @yeet said:
they need to buff his charging speed to 100% MS to stay on par with billy's charge, which comes with a lot of other benefits.

Imo, they should give him an option to press M2 during his chainsaw rush, to dash in straight line over a fixed distance (like, 8 meters or so).
That would give him some jumpscare factor, and some mindgames as well as the possibility to outplay more.

I consider it out of line when the game is over and people send messages after the match. In game I think most of it is ok because it’s kind of like how in sports they trash talk each other. I just don’t like the mori one because they can hold the game hostage with that one like I was the last survivor and he was doing it for about 10 minutes. At least with other forms of bm they can’t keep you there.

If someone was doing that to you for 10 minutes then holy hell , there must be more too this story too why he/she felt a need to troll you like that Ofc not going to rule out they may just be a dick too.

Could be true, could be untrue.
I've seen killers being offensive to random survivors because they got pissed from their previous rounds.
Also, some killers are just here to ruin survivor's day. I've seen streamers saying they're only here to make survivors to feel bad.

I'm not sure about what would be YOUR reasons to ragequit in the current game, but there's not that many. I actually never actually ragequitted in this game since the release, and I doubt someone leaving for ACTUAL REASONS would actually care about a 5mins delay.

This one horribly designed loop spot makes me absolutely dread playing a Coldwind Farm map as Killer. And yes, even Rotten Fields even though Rotten Fields is a really fun map it still has that cancerous spot.

Even HybridPanda lost his ish on that spot:

    https://youtu.be/5ZqY3d4MluM?t=17m35s

Rancid Abattoir BTW which I think is maybe the absolute worst map for Killers in the game. Either Rancid Abattoir or Thompson House are the worst. Third worst would be Cowshed. I think all of the Coldwind Farms maps except for Rotten Fields are horribly designed with loops and safe pallets everywhere.

    Gotta agree.
Rancid Abbatoir is horrible because of several factors :
The "infinite" (not really one, due to bloodlust) is very tedious to deal with. Mostly because it has some vision breaking capacities, while still allowing the survivor to see the killer through the walls, efficiently making you lose bloodlust if you do not vault after the survivor directly, making the chase a total lack of mindgames.

  • Welp if you had to choose between a killer leaving the hook and letting you to rescue, and a killer just standing there, waiting for people to come by, what would you choose ?

BBQ has several counters, including juking if you're found. It's not like being found means you're gonna go down under 10s, supposedly, even.

A killer getting people one by one should not be able to kill everyone before the gens are completed, unlike you're very low ranks and not repairing, which is the main issue.

  • The usual Nea's with toxic names.
    Or Orange Claudettes.

I've never seen a single orange claudette not trying to bully me in my 1500 hours of playtime.

  • As a high rank player, mostly playing against solo survivors/duo survivors, I can tell one thing :
At high ranks, the SWF isn't the only issue.

Sure, SWF can make the experience even easier for survivors, and eventually even less pleasant for killers. But that is not all.

Against experienced players, the game TRULY lack mindgames in a lot of situations.
There is way too many pallets with full vision to run around, allowing the survivor to have full vision on you AND greatly reducing his ways to actually break vision and get off a chase.

These two factors just lead to frustrations for both side :
One side is just forced to keep getting chased for extended durations, with little chance to get away from a chase if the killer decides to commit (even tho you can lose a killer, in some situations, ofc)
The other side is just running in tedious chases, with very little room for mindgames, leading to brainless pallet breaking, one by one, hoping either for a mistake, or to reach a part of the map without that many possibilities.

Obviously, the killer can push a survivor in some place and such, or at least try to, and the survivor can eventually hide in some rare situations.
But is that the most common cases ? I doubt so.
And I think it should be.

Pallet places should essentially be mindgames, either survivor or killer sided, or pretty balanced, but not a braindead run with, as sole purpose, to waste time without the possibility to even think.

  • The first thing would be to, at least, get a delay before being able to jump in another match if you disconnect.
The main reason people disconnects is "I'm not gonna be rescued/I don't like this killer/I don't like this map/I don't like this offering, I might as well disconnect and get to the next match asap".

As a mod around here, suggested, getting at least a 5mins timer after disconnecting should be a thing. I wouldn't hinder ACTUAL disconnections/emergencies, but it would at least not give full benefits to disconnecters.

I have respect for new players, but playing with them on a regular basis wouldn't be too pleasant, as an experienced player, against experienced killers, or even AS experienced killers, since killing new players becomes VERY QUICKLY boring.

The "casual mode" atm is playing a few games, then DC/afk one to lose the rank you gained
Above certain ranks you will just face SWFs and loopers, which makes the game unfun in my opinion

The free weekend was really interesting, because the new players were actually trying to hide instead of runing at you, tbagging you and then proceeding to the infinites. Had a lot of fun, but sadly its over now

atm, the issue isn't that you face SWF and loopers at "high ranks", tho, as killer.
The main issue is that you don't face ANYTHING, since you cannot find a match efficiently under rank 10.

  • Would be a decent idea.
Getting DS'ed once a round isn't THAT grevious as killer.
Tho it would need a benefit for non-obsessions, eventually. Maybe not as strong as the one they currently have tho, for sure.

You could imagine something like :
Once per round, you can stab the killer while he carries someone, stunning him for 3s, not allowing him to move. The survivor would remain on its shoulder tho.

Maybe not exactly this, but something interactive like this would be decent.

With the release of BBQ, it seems completely obsolete. It’s stacks are OBJECTIVLY more out of he way, and less free to get. Thus it’s harder to get points.

But not just that, BBQ has a VERY STRONG second ability, so should WGLF get an at least half way decent second ability too? Or be buffed back to 200%?

You’re are also welcome to discuss the balance of BBQ and WGLF as well.

    BBQ is a killer perk.
Killers only got 4 perks slot total, and usually cannot afford to use a "PURE BP perk slot".
Not to mention the utility of BBQ is made to make survivors not to get camped or tunneled.

They actually tried to make WGLF to give more BP (200%) at the release. And I can tell one thing : it was hell of a ride to find a round as survivor back then.
Even myself, a former killer player, was playing full survivor when WGLF got released.
And even if, back then, BBQ wasn't a thing, buffing back WGLF to 200% would GREATLY destroy the appeal of playing killer, especially in the current meta.

So : WGLF is just fine atm, and yes, killers tend to get more BP than survivors overall, but it's a fair price to pay not to have to deal with that balancing mess that the killer side is.

  • Possibly because slashing requires less dexterity than placing a beartrap, so he uses his right hand in the lobby since he doesn't carry traps, but he uses his left hand in-game since he has to get busy with his other hand.

I hear fellow killer mains frequently stating that self care, desicive strike, borrowed time (before), and sprint burst are op, and should be nerfed, BECAUSE they are the most used perks.

By that logic shouldn’t ruin and BBQ be nerfed?

In term of power, Ruin & BBQ aren't even close of SB/SC/DS. That's the thing.
Ruin is a NECESSITY more than an actual "OP perk".
BBQ is a nice way to reward people from playing killer in such a meta, with BP.

  • Nurse.
Mostly because your own skill is rather irrelevant against a good Nurse.

I dislike playing against Trapper too, not because I feel like he's unfair tho, like Nurse, but more because his traps are scary.

We'll Make It. It's my bread and butter. For whatever reason, my teammates always gravitate to the basement when they're about to go down. This way I'm always prepared and can heal them up so they can take a hit on their way out.

We'll make it is arguably meta now tho.
