Aka trash perk

Duplicated comment. Since I can't delete I will just edit this
-
I will take Twins over Plague and Legion anytime
-
I never understood why the killer needs to see the white glow. This makes the perk even more of a joke
-
Can't believe there are people still crying over boons
-
Just cleanse your Plaything, lurk around because the killer is coming back soon, and then cleanse the Pentimento right away
-
Dredge was better

The fact that they do not know about it does not mean that they cannot guess if they are well read at the generator.
Yeah, so? Every killer need to guess whether the survivor is running DH, DS, OTR, Unbreakable etc
-
Useless perk indeed. Nobody runs in my area and 30 seconds is not enough to "save" the game

No, you misunderstood, I think they nerfed it because the perk is hard to bypass for killers who don't use Surge/Jolt, they have to hit Mine in the face, and with Ada's aura perk, they have no choice to disable the perk. I think that was the real reason.
They can't know if Blast Mine and Wiretap are activated

I mean, not many people, outside of those who actually saw the Saw films, know who Amanda Young is. There’s nothing stopping killers like Walter Sullivan coming to the game
lol no, Amanda is one of the main antagonists of Saw, thats not the point here
-
"last survivor standing" to me is the last survivor alive. This perk needs more clarity in its description.
-
I like Felix cosmetics but I am not buying because its a set. No thanks.
-
Nobody is using because its a trash perk
-
All exhaustion perks are going to be deactivated once the exit gates are powered up is my bet
-
I get "value" from Blast Mine in 1 out of 5 games. At least I could use to highlight the gen to my teammates. Now not anymore.
-
@FeryGEN said:
I think this is due to the release of the Ada perk on auras. Abuse was afraid. I think since such a nerf they need to reduce the activation numbers to 40%
No, Ada's perk doesnt change anything on Blast Mine

Yes, because of one perk nerf, as stupid as the nerf is. Why do people exaggerate so much on these forums lmao?
It is true, all fun perks are getting destroyed. Head On might be next
-
And remember guys, for ages you could not use Blast Mine and Repressed Alliance together. I highly doubt they fixed that too.
Survivors are not allowed to have fun in this game anymore
-
As the days go I am convinced the devs want survivors main to be miserable
-
@lauraa said:
feels like we should be getting the Mine 50% faster now or something at least
I would accept this nerf if the requirements to activate was like 25% repairing
-
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING???????
I JUST CANT
-
What about the exit gates taking 3 minutes to open?
-
Done
-
In my opinion, people should keep doing this until BHVR does something
-
But in my opinion, SH doesn't have any other strong villain to bring to DBD as a killer, unfortunately.
Survivors yes, we have Henry and Eileen from 4, Maria from 2, Harry from 1 and that's about it. All other characters are not well received by both the SH fans and even the devs.
For map, the hospital from SH 2 and 3 is a good choice

Found off a Google search
No, this is a character in the movies, has nothing to do with the games since the movies butchered the story
This is the Missionary

4rth game as Wraith ever (usually play Legion but I'm trying to learn him), I get in the same lobby :
- 1 guy that switches to purple flashlight last second, with Haddonfield offering and Head On build, who knows all the house loops perfectly and does smart FOV techs
- 1 medium player
- 2 beginners who don't even have level 2 perks...
With my overall experience as killer (which means not that much), I should have had 4 medium players, not one god and two newbies.
Each killer has its own mmr, no? I am not sure

DH was actually buff. Just wait for a future patch, they will rework DH completely lol

That'd fix its issue. Good idea.
Camping is not the same as doing nothing, when used properly, it's efficient
Well, I am talking about putting a survivor on a hook and just staying there and not actually trying to find more survivors or patrolling gens. If there is a survivor on the hook and their teammates are lurking around back and forth then you have a reason to "camp"
-
People are just saying goodbye to the map

@indieeden7 said:

But for each time you use it, you'll probably waste about 30 seconds just going over to the hook and back to wherever you came from. It would literally be more efficient to just not even go over and use it. At least with the first iteration, someone standing by the hook and using it would actually buy their teammates time, rather than just stalling progress for killer AND survivor.
Yes, and the killer could just chase the survivor nearby easily

i did
In the first phase, the hooked survivor can still attempt to unhook themselves.
you clearly dont know how survivor troll other survivors,
-Make the Reassurance "button" appear for the hooked survivor, so you just get close and they press the ability button to activate it. Now they decide whether they want to stay there or not.
get baited into pressing the button, congrats you're #########.
Didn't convince me yet

Camping is infact gameplay. Putting a survivor on a hook by a 3-gen set up and sticking around that area is completely valid if you don't like it.
Then you have a valid reason to camp, however, you decide if you wanna stay by the hook or chase at least 1 survivor and down them for extra pressure.
-
@Yatol said:
no thank you , i have played with my fair share of troll 3swf, id rather not give them the tool to make the game unplayable for me because i play solo.
You clearly didn't read the entire post
-
@Crowman said:
Changing reassurance back to it's non-healthy form just because you don't like camping is not healthy for the game.
Hooks are a form of pressure. Survivors should never have a tool that can indefinitely extend that pressure. The change form is perfectly fair.
Camping is not gameplay

Pretty positive Reassurance will still be a fairly strong perk, even when only 1 survivor runs it. 60 extra seconds on a hook is definitely impactful. It's just a shame it even got nerfed, because it really didn't need a nerf at all.
Not enough, a camping killer will get a 2k at the end of the match most likely
-
@ad19970 said:
A survivor on hook should just get their own prompt of Reassurance, to deactivate it again. The same prompt that is used to activate Reassurance.
I think if the survivor on the hook would have to activate Reassurance, that would cause some very big frustrations. The survivor on the hook might not know and realise you have Reassurance, and it would be so frustrating to run up to the hooked survivor, and then nothing happens. It would be a huge middle finger to solo queue.
Meanwhile, if survivors kept on getting skill checks while the timer is paused, I could see that getting very tiring.
So I do agree that the Reassurance nerf should be reverted, but the survivor on the hook should just be able to deactivate the perk if they want to.
But to be fair, I would rather have BHVR nerf camping in some fair way or form at base anyways, and not only with a specific perk. If camping got some nerfs in the near future, I wouldn't be mad about the nerf to Reassurance at all anymore. Simply increasing the hook phase duration from 60 to 70 seconds, and removing hook grabs, would go a long way.
Keep the 6 meters to activate Reassurance but make the perk icon appears on the bottom right of the screen way earlier, like 12 meters, so the hooked survivor will know someone around has it
-
The only way to actually do this challenge is by offering The Game or Midwich (or RPD if you are spicy, and I guess you have the right to do so since the map is getting changed in a few days, so it's like a goodbye lol)

This is literally such a bad take its not even funny. Explain to me, killer main in what world is it effective strategy for survivors to force themselves into a 3v1 by leaving their teammate on hook with reassurance?
If survivors left their reassured teammate on hook rather than save them that does not reward them it rewards the killer with a 3v1, especially if the killer is not camping. The survivors basically have forced themselves into a 3v1 with one survivor being useless. What you said literally makes no sense and does not follow any logic whatsoever. Does not surprise me though you probably camp every game and got scared there was an actual counter to it.
Yeah, nobody can explain this. There is no use, Reassurance was perfect in the PTB, it just needs a little tweak to avoid these kinds of abuses
-
@SkeletalElite said:
I'd rather see them buff it by revealing the killer aura to all survivors when the killer is within the radius of the boon
I have an idea for a boon perk that is: Survivors within the range of the perk have their aura revealed to each other (Kinda like a Bond but for everybody and only inside the area). And if the killer snuffs the boon their aura is revealed to all survivors for 10 seconds.
-
Reassurance was nerfed because of killer complaints. Survivor "mains" who are complaining about being held hostage on the hook are secretly campers. If BHVR really wanted to make sure that was not abused, they could have done a totally different change. There are so many possibilities such as:
-In the first phase, the hooked survivor can still attempt to unhook themselves. In the second phase, the skill checks could have been present (they could remain the size accordingly to the entity's timer)
or
-Make the Reassurance "button" appear for the hooked survivor, so you just get close and they press the ability button to activate it. Now they decide whether they want to stay there or not. Ah, of course, survivors would still kill themselves for no reason and ruin the game, right? Still, it's a viable option.
But no, they nerfed to the point that camping is still strong and killers are guaranteed a couple of kills doing nothing and also adding nothing to the fun.

No. U would be killing any 110% killer. If u want to do this u should AT LEAST give killers basekit shattered hope. At least, 2% is bad but if it's anything more then 4% it could be a massive problem
Like how COH already kills many killers?
-
I think the perk combination is broken again. I just tried to FTP a teammate 2 times in 2 different games and they didn't get the endurance. (I 100% had a WGLF stack, safe unhook)
-
Nah, it should be 7% haste but to balance up it should not combine the speed with Hope or Blood Pact
-
@Spirit_IsTheBest said:
It should be basekit. Don't understand why they have to make perks to fix issues with Boons.
Pentimento would need a complete rework

I am out of the loop about this streamer. I don't follow him and I have never seen a stream of his. The only thing I noticed was a few of his tweets appeared on my timeline (despite me not following him) and it had some steamy hot takes about the game, stuff like "DS gives you enough distance" and I always thought he has been trolling this whole time.

That’s exactly why killers should hard tunnel at 5 gens.
Hard tunneling at 5 gens is boring, I don't know what is so exciting about playing like this. It's a guaranteed 3 or 4 kills at the end of the match if you tunnel everybody out. What's the point of playing the game after all?
