So the tunneling and slugging rework gets pushed back but off the record, a very good anti tunnel perks, gets nerfed? Make it make sense
I’m my games it was being used more as an offensive tool than defensive.
-
I don’t mind dead dawg but the rest of the maps are trash for killer hell both sides. What were they thinking with that.
-
trying to gut ghoul this is wild
-
they’ve been giving me this map every 3 games and it’s torture playing M1 killers. Even Wesker.
-
controller sens and settings are so outdated it’s actually funny
-
he’s a very boring killer and not unique. Being able to disappear every 10 secs with a dash that takes little skill is very boring.
-
had me until it’s not disabled at end game

I still say Pig deserves a overhaul at this point. New model, new animations, new chase music and voice acting by Shawnee Smith (who has said several times she would love to do it).
Honestly BHVR needs to spent time upgrading a lot of the older characters (killers and survivors) to a more modern standard with better models and voice acting.

This would be nice. But I would imagine it would be rigged to bits, I’d love it to be in a way of being only able to vote with certain requirements. A certain hundred hours on said role to vote. 100 hours vote 1 perk, 250 vote 2 perks, 500 hours vote 3 and maybe 750 to vote four. It should also be account linked to prove.

Play an M1 killer into the deep end of the queue without trying to snowball and see if you feel the same.
If you want snowballing gone, then gen completion rates need to be addressed so there's actually time to rotate hooks in the way you demand and still win against experienced survivors.
If gens can be completed in 5 minutes, but the killer can snowball - there's still a contest there.
If gens can be completed in 5 minutes and the killer is suddenly roadblocked from snowballing - there is no longer a contest.
If you kill off the contest, you kill off the game. You must respect the asymmetry of the game and accept that it isn't centered around you as a single survivor.

I agree as a long time killer main against good survivors it can almost be impossible to catch them while they’re chaining loops on maps like Autohaven and Yamoka. Multiple times a game sometimes my duo asks me she needs help.

Back when gen speeds were really fast and there were only 2 hook states with no basekit borrowed time and moris being usable after 1 hook, getting killed fast in dbd didnt feel that bad, it was more of an oh well next round. Now that everything has been drawn out and survivors getting many more chances to survive, being targetted to use up all of one persons chances to play now feels very personal. Like sure you get to win every time but the person on the other side would rather try to report you if they could than say gg. And everyone else in the group is just miserable till it ends and often dont even want to bother trying anymore. Tunneling ripa the fun out of both sides for a guaranteed win, like grenade spamming the enemies spawn point in games like battlefield or call of duty. Why use guns when the most effective means of getting most kills are grenades against someone who cant even take 2 steps? But wheres the fun in that? I can understand tunneling as a means to turn a game around if you are getting gen rushed, but right at the start go for instant easy win mode seems like itd eventually get boring?
it felt like that because everything was more op for survivors. Dead Hard, DS, Spine Chill, Resilience combo, pallets everywhere, infinite loops, pallet vacuum, old Iron Will, old maps to name some. IMO the game was much more fun when everything was broken for both sides.

I do wish teammates would bring more anti-tunnel perks. But none of the anti-tunnel perks are base-game and many dont want to spend money or shards on a character just for one perk that isnt that strong. DS is one time use, Dead hard is easy to bait, shoulder the burden is just buns. Only half decent and consistent Anti-tunnel perk is off the record and most of the time when i get tunneled off hook I loop the killer past the perks activate time and go down after the perk is no longer active.
Honestly a player base should not have to rely on non-base game perks to counter a toxic and common playstyle. Its part of the reason we say this game is pay-to-win and horrible for new players.well the devs should give us killers a reason to not tunnel there’s no incentive to not tunneling it’s the fastest and most efficient way of winning
-
I feel like it was probably coming when she was about to get an update but they pushed it back.
-
I just don’t understand how players don’t bring anti tunnel when tunneling is so rampant in the game right now it’s literally throwing the game at the load screen

Probably. Capcom are pretty good at licensing out their content, so I don't see why we won't get more skins in the future at some point.
I feel like with Resident Evil skins, it's less a question of 'if' and more a question of 'when'. The characters are very popular in DBD.
I was very surprised they let them get classic Nemesis. It’s definitely possible for more content hopefully Piers and Jake!

what they did to spine chill my beloved

yeah map rotation seems abit wack the maps above and sometimes a nostromo or a coldwind map. i havent seen rpd in a few days
I’ve used a total of 27 rpd offerings and haven’t got it yet.

Dude knight sucks lol

@Brimp said:
Not that bad but not unplayable as 6.1.0.
I agree
-
where do you guys find these aura reading builds when I play survivor it’s just quad gen slowdown lol
-
dude he’s outdated and boring for both sides.
-
So do you guys want bugs fixed or anti tunnel? Killer players didn’t complain about bugs survivors did.
-
He’s been broken for quite some time ive been waiting for him to be changed.
-
make body blocking a conspicuous action 👏
-
7 bullet points to 60 in favor for survivor
-
This is very survivor sided but I won’t complain. Faster killer queue times are always better

The survivor handholding is strong with this one
very bad. I was hoping they gave killers basekit pain res at least.
-
would gut Kaneki
-
been asking for this since I first started playing dbd in 2018 a shame console is so rejected. You can’t even whisper or send a message to a person on a different platform. And they wonder why Solo q is so bad.

@Memesis said:
Good. Do everyone a favor and stop playing legion in 2v8
😂
-
I miss 2021 windstorm basekit Wraith. Hasn’t felt the same since.
-
nope you’re not the only one I played Wesker and was struggling badly with rubber banding and ping
-
I mean there are many good pallets to stun legion. You guys have to learn to put in effort. Instead of just nerfing every killer that feels unfun to play against.
-
Very fun to play against always outplaying abilities feels great on both sides
-
I have to agree

THIS..
I had a similar match against a Ghoul a few days ago where he was bodying my teammates left and right, but he had a decently good chase with me, and let me get the door in the end. So nice to see killers that aren't hellbent on getting that finisher mori all the time, which in 95% of cases, they are.
what survivor were you playing? And was it on dead sands?
-
nobody plays slinger so no

I think Dracula's one of the most telegraphed Killers in the roster and that's what makes him fairer than some others.
You will always know what he's doing, even outside of chase.
so just because you can hear the bats and the wolf that makes him a fair killer?
-
@OnryosTapeRentals said:
To be honest, I'm not a fan of Dracula's design either.
If you're going to have a killer with multiple powers, then those powers need to be individually mediocre/weak. The overall strength comes in the killer's ability to deal with a variety of situations as opposed to having one strong main power. Vecna does this well. He has four powers, all of which are useful, but each of them either have built-in counterplay (like crouching below the skeletons) or they have magical items to help survivors deal with them. His spells are strong enough that all-together he's a very good killer, but individually none of them are so oppressive that survivors are left with no options.
Dracula on the other hand basically has three killer's MAIN powers, with practically no cooldown between any of them. He gets Nemesis' tentacle whip, Spirit's traversal, AND Wesker's double dash ability, on top of a bunch of freebies like the ability to teleport in bat form, louder survivor noise as the bat, and free tracking and Haste orbs as the wolf. It's kind of wild how much he outclasses Vecna.
I’m saying the exact same thing and I’m downvoted for it… Dracula is toxic to face on any map. It’s hard to get success looping him and I’ve been playing dbd for 7 years.

Racism, ear-shattering noises, people with awful mics talking like they are in a crypt, music blasting, arguments, people yelling at you in a different language and so much more.
This would await us with voice chat.
they could go the overwatch route and just record vc other than that vc would be really cool

Current state of the game? What’s wrong with the game?

Being able to see your teammates's perks would immediately cause lobby-dodging to skyrocket. People doing Adept achievements (or simply playing off-meta or niche perks) would get dodge relentlessly and hiding prestige in lobby (which was for the sole reason of reducing lobby-dodging, and it worked wonderfully) will have been for nothing, in fact it would be a thousand times worse. People would have to last-second switch their own perks to deal with their teammates.
As for the chat, I think it being off by default (and it being able to be hidden) is for people to not have to deal with toxic people if they don't want to (and streamers to not have to deal with even more of that).
I do agree that there should be more indicators for perks in-game however. For example;
Head-On, when active, would turn the aura of a locker yellow from the POV of other Survivors, making it easier to organize saves and chases around it.
Deliverance and Wicked, when active, would change the hook icon on the HUD and make it glow to tell the other Survivors that the hooked Survivor can unhook themselves and that there is no need to rush for the save.
There's more examples but it would go on for a while.
you could last second swap
