By my calculations, it should take roughly ~23.49 seconds for your power to come off cooldown if all survivors are asleep. They said with stacked add-ons that could be reduced to 9 seconds.
-
Being blunt: This feels like a lateral move that makes him easier to play and more fun for survivors. It does not seem like he is going to be viable because of the rework.
-
If everyone was asleep all the time, it would best case be about as powerful as if they just gave the Clown a generator teleport.
Without add-ons, it doesn't seem like there is a reason to care about waking up instead of gen-rushing. The entire mechanic is designed to waste survivor's time, but the default downsides aren't bad enough to warrant spending a sixth of the match waking up.
-
The most basic one is to pay attention to survivor line of sight when uncloaking. The bell doesn’t warn them until partway through. You can also body block while uncloaking.
-
Wondering how long until we get a post from someone who does gens
-
I feel very bad about criticizing events so much; but they haven’t had more than the one good event, the margarita one, since they got rid of community challenges. I wish they hadn’t ruined their ability to do those via intentional self sabotage.
-
I kill survivors. I also pallet loop and unhook.
-
Plz No more events until they can prevent them from ruining the game.
-
The only way to balance the game around SWF would be to give them a debuff. That’s not a good idea, so it’s Just not going to get balanced.
-
Bing bong the button is gone.
-
The op is 4 weeks old. That’s enough time to read it.
-
The problem is that any new killer is doa if they don’t have both anti looping and fast map traversal.
-
Unless the snares are much better than the Clown’s gas; this killer will still be bad.
-
The emblems don’t reflect how people play.

Critical hit right in the feels

Obsessing over what though?
Gateaux. People were playing killer way more than normal bc survivors couldn’t get them.

I’m not going to miss confusing a hook for a gen.
-
I am very glad it’s over so people can stop irrationally obsessing over it.
-
No it is maps in general. They are doing changes separate from the single map reworks.
-
They are planning to nerf looping “soon”. People should wait to see what that does.
-
If survivors really do not heal then chases should take half as long. How does that not help the killer any?
-
The entire thing is going to depend on how often it takes survivor to fall asleep.
-
One of the devs commented on this semi-recently. It uses the rank of the person who started the SWF lobby to matchmake.
-
The base game cost $30 on console on release vs $20 on PC.
-
The ranking system doesn't work, high level play is completely imbalanced, and the meta also has to try and account for things like Styptics and Ebonies.
If DBD is supposed to be a competitive game instead of a party game, then they've been failing for over 3 years now.
-
Omega blink and Quintuple blink nurse both need a looksie; but that can be handled by looking at her add-ons. The character itself is fine and one of the only viable killers at rank one, so it would be really bad for the game if they nerfed the base kit.
-
If 2k was a tie then it wouldn’t be a depip.
-
Most people don’t run detection perks. And survivors can’t see through walls. The vast majority of survivors even at red ranks get a lot of their info from terror radius.
-
It is extremely good lol; and he can do several other things with his kit that the Clown cannot.
-
The doctor has extremely good antilooping with add ons that give extra shock range. They’re essentially mandatory at high ranks though.

If you put the "best" doctor or Freddy against the best survivors, the survivors will win 90% of the time.
This’s more 50 50 for Doctor with good add ons.
-
Freddy needs his ultra rares for Rank 1 imo.
-
It’s very hard and requires very specific adds; but a Doctor is capable of dominating good survivors at rank 1.
That being said, no build will let you do that as Trapper, Wraith, Cannibal, etc.
-
There’s a lot of mechanics that low ranks don’t use right anyways. They could start by balancing those.

Yep! I wish someone could write up a stat block for the values. I imagine there's like 3 different circles that have different rates of % increases per second inside Doctor's terror radius, but I've never tested for it.
It seems to be linear with a constant at 32m that’s unaffected by the size of your tr.
-
I don’t dc ever. Worst thing I’ll do is lobby dodge 3 toolboxes during an event.
Theres no point to dcing against SWF bc those are the easier games.
-
It is correct that they have not added a splinter into the game for any of the killers released after the Pig. But the assumed position to this prior to GF's release is that splinters would be released ONLY for killers that can't be bought with shards. This is why they also supposedly removed splinters for non-licensed killers like the Doctor and Hag. This of course could have changed between now and then; but they just haven't had a licensed killer yet since the store was introduced.

Let's say we ignore the BP bonus from BBQ & Chili. Let's also go killer by killer before doing an "all killers".
Note: The below is just my opinion based on my personal playstyle.
Freddy is left out due to the upcoming rework being so close.
------------
The best perks on Nurse are Hex: Ruin, Barbecue and Chili, Nurse's Calling, Shadowborn, Monitor and Abuse, and Make your Choice.
The best perks on Hillbilly are Hex: Ruin, Barbecue and Chili, Enduring, and Spirit Fury.
The best perks on Spirit are Hex: Ruin, Surveillance, Make Your Choice, Monitor and Abuse, and Stridor. Surveillance is basically required with how good it is on her.
The best perks on Myers are Hex: Ruin, Monitor and Abuse, Bamboozle, Enduring, and Spirit Fury. M&A is basically required on Myers.
The best perks right now imo on Ghostface are Hex: Ruin, Haunted Grounds, Surveillance, Enduring, and Spirit Fury.
The best perks on Hag are Hex: Ruin, Make Your Choice, Corrupt Intervention, Pop Goes the Weasel, and Monitor and Abuse.
The best perks on Huntress are Hex: Ruin, Whispers, Iron Maiden, Enduring, and Spirit Fury. Whispers is essentially required imo.
The best perks on Plague are Hex: Ruin, Monitor and Abuse, Enduring, and Spirit Fury.
The best perks on Doctor are Hex: Ruin, Distressing, Unnerving Presence, Overcharge, Hex: Huntress' Lullaby, Whispers, Enduring, and Spirit Fury.
The best perks on Clown are Hex: Ruin, Bamboozle, Enduring, and Spirit Fury.
The best perks on Pig are Hex: Ruin, Enduring, and Spirit Fury.
The best perks on Legion are Hex: Ruin, Sloppy Butcher, Franklin's Demise, Bloodhound, and Save the Best For Last.
The best perks on Wraith are Hex: Ruin, Sloppy Butcher, Enduring, Spirit Fury, Bloodhound, and Stridor.
The best perks on Trapper are Hex: Ruin, Corrupt Intervention, Pop Goes the Weasel, Enduring, and Spirit Fury.
The best perks on Leatherface are Hex: Ruin, Insidious, Enduring, Spirit Fury, Agitation, and Iron Grasp.
----------------
The following perks appeared at least once in the above:
- Hex: Ruin
- Barbecue and Chili
- Nurses Calling
- Shadowborn
- Monitor and Abuse
- Make Your Choice
- Enduring
- Spirit Fury
- Surveillance
- Stridor
- Bamboozle
- Haunted Grounds
- Corrupt Intervention
- Pop Goes the Weasel
- Whispers
- Iron Maiden
- Distressing
- Unnerving Presence
- Overcharge
- Hex: Huntress' Lullaby
- Sloppy Butcher
- Bloodhound
- Franklin's Demise
- Save The Best For Last
- Insidious
- Agitation
- Iron Grasp
The following perks appeared at least 3 times:
- Hex: Ruin
- Monitor and Abuse
- Enduring
- Spirit Fury
- Make Your Choice
-----------
Note that Make Your Choice appeared exactly 3 times, while the other 4 appeared significantly more often. Thus, just looking at frequency, my personal opinion would have to be that purely looking at viability the best 4 killer perks in the game are:
Hex: Ruin, Monitor and Abuse, Enduring, Spirit Fury

you have my vote

Because other people lie.
-
BBQ is number one because of the points bonus. Without it, it would not crack the top 10.

@Tsulan said:
What about changing the moment when the points get aplied?
Bonus points should be awarded after the match. Not during the match.
Just like it´s with BBQ&WGLF
This would make it too easy for killers to do nothing but farm BP and let every survivor go so they keep a bad rank. I'd gain 12,000 more BP every game from Distressing and Beast of Prey alone on Doctor. And I wouldn't really have to earn it.
And you think killer queues are bad now? Oh boy would they start to suck.
-
"The game says I got a chance, but I'm not granted one due to another players decision."
Where did the game explicitly say you get another chance? Generally, when a game says you get another chance, it will actually give you another chance. Something like end game collapse for example is the game saying the last survivor gets one more chance. It does this by directly giving them another chance. Two in some cases.
Struggle phases are more of the game giving the other players still playing something to compete over. All you are is another optional objective for survivors to do and for killers to defend. If the survivors cannot or will not accomplish that objective, then you do not get another chance. If you were owed one, then the game would flat out give it to you instead of letting you die on your first hook.
The only difference between this and gen rushing is that the killer gets to keep playing the game through until the end.

Will Smith - Dude plays a badass in some of my favorite movies including Men In Black and the more recent Suicide Squad.
-
I'm probably the only person in this thread crazy enough to try Distressing on Spirit.
Spoilers: It works but it's not at all worth it.
-
Distressing currently combos well with the following perks:
- Coulrophobia
- I'm All Ears
- Infectious Fright
- Overwhelming Presence
- Unnerving Presence
And the following killer powers:
- Carter's Spark
- Yamaoka's Haunting
- Feral Frenzy
The only two people will mostly care about though outside of this thread are Unnerving Presence and Carter's Spark.
