Perks:
Lazy Genius
You know how to take the easy way.
After repairing a generator for 5 seconds the generator will passively repair itself at 25%/30%/35% speed. Lazy Genius can only effect one generator at a time. Stacks with others. (But caps at 2 stacks per generator)
Music Head:
Your love for music hinders your awareness, but motivates you.
You are afflicted with the oblivious status effect for the duration of the trial. Gain a haste status effect of 4%/5%/6% Your actions cannot be interrupted (by grabs) while healthy.
Teen Spirit:
Your youthfulness let's you feel apathetic and indifferent towards any status afflictions during the beginning of the trial.
At the start of the trial you are immune to any status effects inflicted on you for 80/100/120 seconds.
(Mangled, Blindness, Hemorrhage, Hinderance, Exposed, Oblivious)
I like these perks... I also think they can fit well in game... Good job

Ahh okay, still good though :)
I can tell a story though...
I've been writing novels since high school (but haven't finished a single one)

That's a really good lore, is it based on any reality by any chance?
And the 'Live or let die' is really unique, the fact that when you die it helps the team out, and punishes the killer almost. :)
It's not but my mother did serve in Marine Corps
-
Name: R.A. Savage (LOL...)
Lore: uhhhhhh........... Yea about that:
Growing up in a small town in an area that is not well known, R. Savage had a "normal" childhood till he lost his father to a car accident when he was five. He then lost his mother to the war (a fictitious one) when he was 10. His brothers and sisters were older then him so they moved on with their lives leaving R. Savage behind.
When R. Savage graduated high school he found a job at a local market... he preformed his duties the best he could but that didn't last that long. Struggling to find his way he would walk the town by day and dream of all that might have been at night. He tried so hard to find where he belonged in this world, and then a whisper on the wind spoke of a place where he would be needed. The whisper only grew until he found himself in a forest next to a lake. The path was well traveled so he fallowed it to the lake, once he got to the shore the whisper became a voice.
For the next week he'd go to the lake but never near the water. he'd go there to vent his frustrations on his past and present but never say much about his future. On the 10th anniversary of his mothers passing he went to the lake. Once he got there a thick fog had taken hold, R. Savage couldn't see how close he was to the water until he heard the splashing of his feet. He froze, his breath stopped as he prepared to go in farther. Just then the fog drifted to show his reflection. He stared at his reflection, from the blacked out eyes to the scars that looked as if they came from a car wreck. "Those things were supposed to happen to you"
Perks:
Left alone: (being alone has honed your skill when no ones around) Preform repairs 2/3/4% faster when no one is within 30/25/20m of the gen. When working on a gen with another, greater chance of skillchecks and are 10/15/20% smaller
Under Pressure: (have done good work in the past has lessen the pressure you feel) When inside the TR of the killer for 15/20/30 seconds the next survivor to be put into the dying state shows you the killer's aura and hooks within 15m for 5 seconds
Live or Let Die: (being shown the truth of life has angered you) If you are the first to die then the remaining survivors are given a 10% repair speed bonus for the next 10/15/20 seconds [the perk icon will show up on the other survivors screens like the syringe] OR If you are the last alive the sound cue of the hatch can be heard from 10m away
I would've liked to a killer as well but this thread was for survivor so there you go.... hope you enjoyed it
-
Cause it's a game that enjoy from time to time
-
Spirit:
Teeth of Wrath
Seifuku (Red)
Jagged Thorn
-
It's too much to think about
What I'm doing:
Wait till I get max BP
Spend half
Then repeat
If I feel confident I'll level killers or survivors I don't have level 50
I decided not to prestige (seems like a waste of "my" time)

Im asking if any of the devs streams on console. Because I as a console player dont feel represented by dev streams I watch, however i dont know if theres actually a dev streaming on console, thats why im asking.
If there was Dev on console I dont think the console experience wouldnt be that bad.
I guess it's safe to say that they don't...
-
@RayrafLPP Are you asking about the Devs streaming on consoles?
Or are you asking if anyone streams in console?

Not sure if I got it right, but I like idea of @xEa. There is 4 red and 4 blue survivors team up with 1 red and 1 blue killer. So blue killer has to kill red survivors and red killer has to kill blue survivors. The team got more bloodpoints at the end of the match wins.
Basically

That sounds really cool not gonna lie. I could imagine a big map with 14 generators, 7 gens in Blue color, 7 in Red. Team blue has to do blue gens, and team red has to do red gens. 4 exit gates, the team who gets out first wins.
The way I was thinking:
The "teams" start with together on opposite ends of the map
There would be two gen in the middle that need to be done first
then 3-4 gens on the ends that the killers need to guard
Killer can only be active after their team completes the first gen
the exit gate is where the team started
So it's like CTF but with gens needing to done
-
5v5
one killer and 4 survivors work together to see who's "team" gets out or dies
-
Meh... survivors have 80 perks
Killers have... 72 perks

Love how the forum just immediately proves your point, not even trying to hide it. Idk about the rest of y'all, but I would like the survivor perk meta to be shaken up a bit.
Me to...
So then I can make changes to my killer builds
I would like more verity in perk builds in general

What is it with you guys
you play so sweaty (which is understandable) but when you don’t 4K the game is unbalanced
l just played against a rank 1 Freddy (we were all solo) he got a 3k one got out through the doors. It was a good game everyone said “gg”
then he goes on this rant about the game is unbalanced against killers.
so for red rank killers it’s 4k or bust?
Some killer players are like that
Me not so much... but survivors threw their insults my way (because they could) so I almost caved in
I play fair and still get messages saying that I'm a "trash tier killer".... "uninstall the game, your trash"

Another chapter, and another killer chapter with 3 op killers' perks. BHVR, are you going to give something to surv this year? I don't know, a good perk, and small buff, something like that. Everybody knows that this is a killer forum, but please, listen to survs too.
Killer main here.... that agrees with you
I want to have matches that I get surprised by what I see the perks being (either during the match or at the end game screens)
-
Hangman's Trick works almost the same
Get a notification when a survivor starts sabo
When carrying a survivor to a hook you see auras of survivors standing 6m from any other hook
And I think this perk needs it's longer sabo time back to be decent
Anyway... I believe that this game should be balanced around the realms (maps)
-
I almost spit out my coffee HAHAHAHAH
This made my day (and it just started)

250 Auric cells a month gets you access to old perks like old Ruin/ Perk strength from the PTB

Because that's exactly how we used it as a tracking perk? If it was white, we knew we didnt have to worry about it.. if its red we knew to run to it.. but now we have to wonder if it just finished regressing or if someones working on it.
If a survivor is working on a gen affected by Surveillance then that gen will turn yellow for 8/10/12 seconds
also repair sound range is increased by 8m... it could save you a second or a few
-

It changed red only when someone touched it after a gen had been regressed no matter what % it was at. That's how it works right now, they're nerfing the ######### out of it for nothing and calling it a bug fix.
It turns yellow if a survivor starts repairs before regression reaches 0 for 8/10/12 seconds

But you won't knew when a survivor starts working on it again.
if it's regressed to 0 why does it matter
-
It was a bug...
causing gen that have been regressed fully to still be white
Now that won't happen... perk still works the same
If gens go from white to red that means the are at 0
-
They do have plans to make adjustments on the rest of the maps
But that went onto the wayside for the graphic up date and of course the next chapter

Aren't we overreacting here a little bit? It's not yet out. Let's hear what the Devs have to say first and try it out for ourselves.
But we get it when it's live not in testing
If the console's had a PTB we'd tell them off the rip if it made things worse

Sounds like you need a bit more life into your commentary, as you sound a little bit flat. It's a problem that a lot of people new to Youtube and streaming have. Myself included.
Same with me
Mostly cause I don't have any interaction (no one in chat) to "practice" my commentary with... lol
It goes back to me lacking confidence overall

It actually pains me to see that this is the experience that you guys have against my beloved Piggy. Ironically that's also the worst way to play her.
Unfortunately I don't have any recorded gameplay of how I play Pig, but if I did then I would link that for you.
I have a few of how I play her... plus other killers so people can say that I'm trash with them LOL
-
bad frames + bad servers = upset players
upset players + bad update schedule = players leave
players leaving = less money
please do something BHVR
-
The verity of play styles
-
That would be nice.... But that would also mean BVHR would have to create that from scratch
-
I don't main Nurse but have put in around 30-40 hours into her (most of it was after the re-work.... and I know that isn't a lot of time)
If they fixed her bugs and adjusted the cooldown/fatigue I'll be fine with that (I wouldn't say i'd main her but certainly put more time into her)
-
"console wars"
it was a long war but the peace treaty will come soon
Anyway... Ahemmmm, throwing everyone together has:
Almost overloaded the servers
Created a "us vs. them" between consoles themselves and PC
Further divided the survivors and killers (console survivors and PC survivors)... (console killers and PC killers)
Has allowed players to finally play this game with others of different platforms (SWF's and KYF's)
Provided more balancing issues... that probably should've been taken care of before (but that's neither here nor there)
-
For me it depends on when and how many DC
1 DC early = a little farming but not all match long
2 DC's early= Farm match
1 DC late = "sorry but GG"
2 DC late= just leave
any more then 2 DC's is just not cool

Ok but if you are learning Nurse then wouldn't you want to face survivors who are better at dealing with a Nurse as you get better at playing the Nurse?
And if you are a good Billy then wouldn't you want to face survivors whom are good against Billy?
-
@MeltingPenguins said:

it would be purely cosmetic, though, wouldn't it?
@TWiXT : You can expect an onslaught of DCs if something like that would happen. I'll be honest: Pig is the one killer where I WILL dc or suicide on hook, as she causes an IRL stress response in me for some reason like no other killer does. which isn't a compliment.
Not if I had it my way (IDK if the devs would do it though... which is why we can discuss what we would like to see)
Have an addon that changes the RBT to the Venus Fly Trap from SAW 2 (this I can see just being cosmetic only) ... and another one that changed the RBT to a Shotgun Collar from SAW 3 (this not so much in the way of only being cosmetic)
-
@Aven_Fallen said:

Survivors would not be rated against Killers. Like, you will not have a Rating that shows that you are awesome when facing a Wraith but terrible when facing a Billy. There is only one overall Rating for Survivors.
And this makes sense - if for example Survivors have a good Rating against Wraith, this would most likely mean that they are running Spine Chill, which helps against Stealth Killers. So if someone is good at Wraith, they will go against Spine Chill Users the whole time at some point.
A perk doesn't define skill
And I think it should matter that the survivors are good against different
Like if I am good against a Wraith then I'd go up against good Wraiths... And if I am bad against Billy then I should go up against lesser skilled Billy's (in my opinion)
-
@MeltingPenguins said:

train of logic here:
bringing in different traps (and more of them per match) because it is how it is in the movies, then how would it make sense in a complete different situation, namely the game's circumstances of Mandy being tasked with sacrificing these people to an eldritch being that feasts on their hope.
If you stress the survivors out through more traps, the Entity will only get indigestion....
which is a good thing, though...
Ok... but still
It's only traps the fit her mechanics Other than the Angel trap (with I'm against BTW)
It would offer different interactions based on which trap she brings (and by that I mean that she'd only be bringing that one trap not 4 different ones... I know that is what happens in the movies but that wouldn't work in game)
-
@MeltingPenguins said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1545642#Comment_1545642
how many people in the saw movies had to worry open getting eaten by an eldritch being?
Wait... What
This thread is discussing bringing in different traps from the SAW series for The Pig (Amanda Young) to use
What in the world does what you said have to do with this thread
-
Alright so if killers are rated separately then shouldn't the survivors be rated on how they played against that killer
Like if survivors load into a Lobby that had a high MMR Wraith but switched to Billy... maybe the survivors were high MMR vs. that Wraith but not against Billy
What then?

I'm actually having a great experience thanks to the crossplay
Cool... Good for you (I mean it)
I'm going to wait for things to calm down a bit
-
Do you P3 then by playing them or use all your points on them...
Go clown if that is what you want to do
-
I'm actually on break from DBD... with everything that hit live at once... it made the game laggy as (bad word)
And it was making me thinking of bringing Mories and endgame builds (which isn't my playstyle)
So Good Luck to you sir......
-
Welcome back :)

@MeltingPenguins said:

yeah, but to argue 'that's how the movies work' would call for all killers to be neigh unbeatable, wouldn't it? think about how much it takes in the movies to best them till the next installment, and this would apply to original killers too.
True... but the SAW series is different
and the game should play more into the movies
How many traps were truly inescapable (cause that's the whole point of this thread)
I know of the two obvious ones (The Classroom trap and The Angel Trap)
-
@MeltingPenguins said:
You guys might as well just suggest giving her the ability to remove all gens from the match and instakilling survivors the moment she spots them, good heavens...
Good idea (even if it was a joke)
That's how the movies worked soooooo.... can you blame us for wanting more ways of playing her like the movies
-
Ok so 60 seconds by itself but it goes faster if another survivor is closeby (won't apply to hooked survivors but will start when the animation finishes)
no that won't work so 80 seconds will start apon activation then apply the speed up normally
let me say the speed up starts at around 20m (like a .1 second)
but max would be healing (3 seconds)
So if healing takes 16-20 seconds then (48-60 seconds) would be gone.... leaving 32-20 seconds left
Is that OP or what??
