Aftercare- there's a reason that it works the way it does.... Empathy does the same thing but in a range
Distortion- I can understand why they picked it to only have three charges... and also understand why it needs more but with Shadowstep in the game now it seems unlikely
Breakdown- like you said it has it's uses... not much can be done to this perk though
-
I can get value if you played it right....
Sloppy/ Thana
Not so much Dying Light (cause it doesn't work on the Obsession)
Coulrophobia doesn't do as much... Unless you have a massive TR (like Legion Iri)
-
It depends on whom I'm playing... I haven't gotten all perks or ones that I'm happy with on some characters
Pig- oppression/ Surveillance/ Corrupt/ Whispers
Huntress- Iron Maiden/ Discordance/ Corrupt/ Whispers
Blight- Agitation/ Pop/ Huntress Lullaby/ Undying (I'm not happy with this one)
Spirit- STBFL/ Discordance/ Corrupt/ Whispers
But I do fallow a pattern... if you can't already tell LOL
-
I'd have to say it's Dead Hard... cause of the new validation
Not because I'm a salty Killer main... but because it's new and the game hasn't done it's due diligence on this new version (but I can say that about anything they have done to servers in general)
Because The killer can "get a hit" but the survivor can still run away
-
It comes down to playstyle... IMO
-
Looks right to me
-
I can't say anything that wouldn't be repeating what other have said... LOL
But take this opportunity to learn what you are good at and what you aren't good at.... And chose the best perks to help with what you aren't good at
-
I don't run Exhaustion Perks on most Survivors
I don't run Gen regression on some Killers

I mean, I would really like to see pick rates as well.
High kill rate when there are only mains playing that killer doesn't mean much...
Also true
-
I don't run DS... Try not to tunnel
But if they did remove the Skillcheck from DS I wouldn't mind
-
Cap the healing speed and give it 3 charges
Why the 3 charges... Well to give the Survivor whom uses it 3 chances to get use out of the perk (Blessing takes a charge... but I shouldn't have to say that) and no way of getting them back
-
I's make a market to turn in things used less...
Like BP offerings... 4 Brown for 1 Yellow and so on and so forth
-
Adding a Market to dispose of things you don't want for BP and the ability to exchange 4 brown addons, items and offerings to 1 yellow and so on and so forth... if they do the same things (like BP offerings)
Giving us an unranked mode might be good for newer players as well as those whom aren't competitive
Or just putting them into a "new player" queue
Also putting some of the perks (especially non teachables) into training modes would help

Good Ideas! I wonder what everyone else will say though.
Thanks
-
Oh I forgot.... Bloodhound
-
I can agree with those changes
Then how about:
Dying Light- Increase the debuff from 3% to 6 % on the first three hooks... then lower that to the 3% after... Also have to healing and saving increase from 0% to 33% for each hook on the non obsessions... and the obsession should be affected by the debuff as well
Doing that will encourage Killers to get hooks on the Non Obsession at first (maybe)
Brutal Strength- Increase the speed buff to 50% and add Hindered to Survivors within 3-4m of a pallet being broken for IDK 10 or so seconds
Doing this will make chases more interesting
Pop Goes The Weasel- add stacks to this perk... and you lose the stacks by kicking a gen
1) nothing extra happens
2) Gen progress is slower by 5% for 30 or so seconds
3) The ability to kick a completed Gen and have it regress at 200% of normal
4) Kick a completed Gen and have 25% of progress removed but normal regression
Doing this will give a choice to Killers (but might be OP)

It might be a visual bug since I haven't timed it, but the heal bar when you self-care using CoH isn't red so it appears to be ignoring sloppy.
That's dumb... well Scratch that idea
-
Whispers and Stridor... For base game help
Sloppy... To make them take longer to heal
Thana... To have them make the choice to heal or not
Dying Light... To have some sort of slowdown if you manage to get a few stacks
Surveillance/ Discordance to tell when Survivors are on gens
Spies From The Shadows... To tell you that a Survivor is nearby
We don't need to see auras all the time
Oh and TOTH... so Cleansing/Blessing takes longer (Even though you won't know where it's taking place)
-
Don't get to obsessed with stats... The Devs have stats for everything and little background on how those stats actually played out
Like do the Kill Rates included DC rates... I would like to see those numbers
Do they include Kills gotten by NOED (cause that's a thing)
Do they include those kills gotten in endgame... I would like to see those numbers
Do they include Mori's (I think those should be separate)
If we are to take those Kill Rates seriously then they need to as well... By telling us not to read into the Kill Rates tells me something
Personal experiences doesn't equal everyone's experiences... but it's a fun experiment to do every so often

And when someone ask the devs about gen regression, they say they don't have any plans to do it because gen regression is already good with ruin...
The problem is, this makes most killers have to rely on ruin to have a chance against good survivors. Kicking a gen without the proper perks is nearly worthless.
I agree that kicking gens is worthless... Plus Ruin is like gone within the first couple minutes anyway...they have the stats to prove it to...
Just another reason the Killer "meta" is Ruin and Pop... oh well
Plus if Ruin regression is so good then why leave base regression the same... why not give that to us as base
Sorry lost myself there for a moment
-
This cycle just keeps spinning
Mostly Genrush cause Killers to Camp and Tunnel
And Camping and Tunneling cause Genrush
Good survivors (loopers) cause Camping and Tunneling
The SBMM causes everything to happen... most likely why cause they haven't figured out how to deal with Survivors on a Per-Killer basis (and if they have then good for them but still)
SWF isn't necessary... solo's can work too (but it all comes down to who's running what perks which makes SWF's stronger then average)
-
Gen speeds are fine but Gen regression on the other hand is a joke
It would be nice to get the Devs to actually design the maps themselves rather then let A.I handle it
Could throw in spawn points as well as Gen locations and Totem placements as random... I know that they did design the walls and such but the A.I handles everything else
-
Yea... the Devs hit us hard
Her best addons were nerfed and changed... And the only thing we still have is Headpops (Which is sad to say)
But like I said before... Killer players whom play the Pig will treat her the same as any other Killer for better or worse
-
They treat her like every other Killer in the game
They Tunnel cause it works
But that's not how the Pig works... she works best as a true "slowdown" Killer... Put a Trap on a Survivor and leave them to figure out what they should be doing (I've experienced some survivors working on Gens with an active Trap on)
But then again it isn't fool proof... That Survivor could get the Trap off at the first box
Plus some addons make it easier to Tunnel... so there's that
What I do is put a Trap on every Survivor for the first hook... to counter DS and to know whom I've hooked
P.S. I love my snoot booped :)
-
GO you... I have only prestiged 5-6 Killers once... I also have 3-4 Killers ready to be prestiged plus those that were Prestiged are ready to be prestiged again... But I'll wait
As for Survivors I have 5-6 ready to be prestiged
Also I also save about 500,000 BP so not much leveling to be done
With 1286 hours... yes I checked
-
I agree that base Gen Regression is an issue... which is why Killers run more then one Gen Regression perk and why Survivors tend to deal with Ruin at the start of the match
I agree that Maps (Not the Item) are a problem... having RNG take over something that shouldn't be RNG (IMO) is wrong
Also some perks can be an issue... either as they are "meta" or nonexistent also some that have similar effects
-
Increasing the base regression would help
That would mean Ruin regression would be the same as progression
And more reason to kick Gen overall
-
Brutal Strength- should be 50% and give Hindered to Survivors near the Pallet or Breakable Wall for 5-10-20 seconds
Hangman's Trick- Should make Sabo take longer and reveal the aura of the Survivor who did Sabo the Hook
Predator- Should give a direction to where the Survivor is moving and make Scratch Marks last longer
Dying Light- Should give a bigger % debuff to the first 2nd-3rd hooks then smaller % debuff on the 8-9th hook and give less healing % to the Obsession (cause right now it's like giving Botany Knowledge to the Obsession for free)
No One Left Behind- Should activate after the last Gen is completed... Not when the gate is opened
Also Resilience and This Is Not Happening should be combined into one perk (cause why not)
Boil Over- Should make Struggling faster
Technician- should make Skillchecks bigger with each Great Skillcheck hit
Also I think that the healing speed on dying survivors should be put on Buckle-Up not We're Gonna Live Forever (cause I think it fits better)
Those are a few Perks and what I'd like to see happen to them
-
I bet you that they don't even have anything on a per Killer basis... even though Killers can't change within pre-game lobbies anymore
-
I still enjoy playing Killer... but not all the time
For one I don't play the "meta" on either side... other then Corrupt and BT but that's about it
-
Or can't we as players realize that it's a viscous cycle...
-
I've played her 2-3 times recently...
One of those was a 4K
Another one was a 4E
And the last one was a 1K 3E
I still haven't gotten the grasp of her power but I'm learning
Also some of her addons make no sense
-

And maybe raise the BP cap to 5 milion. They capped at 1 million for hackers, but now that the savefiles are on the backend of the game on BHVR's own servers, I don't think you can do that anymore.
Raising the cap won't do much... cause it's the earn rate Vs. the spend rate of the BP... and players not using all of the addons, offerings and items
Which it why I said what I said
-
Or stop making perks that are basically the same-
Or stop making perks are sooooo (Bad Word) niche
Reducing the cost
Adding in a Blood Market (to where you can trade things you don't want in for a % of BP back or to make duplicates of something lower into something higher) It's just an idea I had awhile back
-
I don't think Boons are OP but they are strong... It's a team perk which I'm happy about
I think that a cooldown after the Boon gets snuffed is fair enough
I don't think the killer should see an aura of where the Boon totem is
But let's give Boons the benefit of the doubt and give them time to be used
-
Fair.... Right now.... No perks on either side... no offering (besides BP offerings)... No Items brought... No Addons
Pray to the RNG gods for a "balanced" map
Killer: 8 hooks (maybe 10 IDK)... No Camping/Tunnelng
Survivor: take more time to get Gens done maybe like 8-9 minutes... No "Genrush"
Hard... right?
-
LOL
Thought I'd point that out to those whom haven't seen it yet
-
It's a cycle... cause the game recognizes Kills V Escapes nothing more and nothing less
Survivors pressure Gens (I don't want to say Genrush but)
Killers pressure Survivors (I don't want to say Tunneling/Camping but)
They cause and are effects of one another
Genrush: Killer doesn't pressure Survivors
Tunneling/Camping: Survivors don't pressure Killers
This game is RNG sided....
-
I see your 400 hours... I have over 1000 hours so what's your point?
Also sounds like you haven't played against the new perks... Am I right or am I wrong?
I am not saying that the new perks are OP just yet... but they are really strong (especially with how the game is being played right now)
I do agree that both sides complain about whatever side gets the new stuff or gets a perk changed... but some are good points and others aren't
-
Honestly the cooldown idea is the best (right now... IMO)
Like how many Killer players used NOED instead of Ruin when Ruin got it's change... I didn't
My best build is:
Sloppy- Coulrophobia- Whispers- Corrupt
Sloppy makes healing take longer
Coulrophobia makes healing harder in TR and if you know where the Boon Totem is that makes it easier
Whispers counters Shadowstep to an extent
Corrupt for early game pressure... some survivors will place a Boon Totem around the blocked Gens, some other survivors will stay in the blocked Gen area (both of those situations are good enough)... then other Survivors will (try and) find a unblocked Gen to work on... other (other) Survivors will try to find you instead of any of those
-
I would've said ME... but I haven't done much in the way of content creation... LOL (nervous laughter)
But I do like CocoanutRTS, Pixel Bush, There are a few others that I do pay attention
-
Survivors mentality is "we did the Gens now let us leave"
The stigma of NOED is the Killers way of saying "no match isn't over yet"... and that "only bad Killers use NOED"
-
I tend to use it on most Killers that have it unlocked... LOL
It feels useful even though I've had matches that 2 gens popped while Corrupt was active
-
Don't do it... It's not worth it
Wait until the Devs actually give us rewards that do carry weight
-

I’ve been running brutal, Iron Maiden and a few others that I can’t remember, I don’t have many on him.
How I play isn’t really important because i’m only asking for perk suggestions.
Iron Maiden works really well with Trickster
Really... I think it is important
Corrupt, Whispers, Iron Maiden and probably Sloppy
-
What perks are you running as of right now?
And what do you have?
How do you play him?
-
I also think that snuffing out a Boon over a Hex should relite the Hex

I think it's fair to say that there's a difference between a super-entrenched meta, and just perks people like running because they're strong and useful; Corrupt and Tinkerer are probably going to be seen quite often no matter what, because they're just convenient perks.
The attitude to take, in my opinion, is to make sure killers don't feel they need to run those perks, and have the leeway to run other builds if they want to.
The same obviously goes for survivor, too! Just focusing on killer for an example.
Yea.. I agree
It comes down to what perks the players feel comfortable in using
For example I don't use tinkerer... But I do use Corrupt... I don't use BBQ anymore cause of Shadowstep but I did use No Way Out
Right now I'm going to experiment with: Oppression, Surveillance, Corrupt, Whispers... on Pig
-
I had some fun ones
Hit 4 Survivors with Oni's Demon Strike
Teleport and hit 4 Survivor using Hag
Open Exit Gate as: Feng MIn, Felix, Kate and Bill

Not on its own. Minor nerfs to some of the meta perks may not be the worst thing in the world, but there's a reason all of the meta perks are entrenched as deeply as they are- it's not just that they're strong, it's because of the way the game overall is balanced.
Take regression perks, for example. If kicking a generator without any perks at all did literally anything for the killer to justify taking the time to do it, you could nerf regression perks a little and the meta would change inherently as people have the freedom to experiment with other kinds of builds, free of the fear that they're just setting themselves up to lose because gens are gonna fly.
I'd want to see the core game changed a little, and then all the non-meta perks buffed substantially to make them more appealing. That, in my opinion, is the best course of action.
This is true...
@RaSavage42 said:
What's "meta"
Ruin, Undying, Corrupt, Pop
Buffing base regression would take care of Ruin and Pop being used together
Corrupt isn't going anywhere
Undying is only good with another Hex... But give back the Loud Noise Notification on TOTH and you have another Totem defense perk
DH// BT/ IW
With COH back in game there is good reason to believe the Survivor "meta" will change... but to what I don't know
DH only works if you're injured... so not much can be done
BT is a team perk no reason to nerf that
IW again only works if injured and again not much can be done to it
Here's my take on what's "meta"
But I forgot that Tinkerer is considered "meta" and for good reason... Also that it works really well with Ruin so they synergize
