For me it would've went: Maps, Killer Powers and Addons, Items and Addons, then Perks
Maps: Change loops, Pallets, Long walls, Gen spawns, Killer and Survivor spawns and Totem spawns
Killer Powers: either make basekit changes to them or rework them
Killer Addons: either change there numbers or rework those
Items: change the numbers on those
Item Addons: change the numbers on those
Perks: Adjust the numbers or rework them

What so thana was fine and didn't need nerf? I think they should make it back like it was before update now it's too bad and only viable on plague. It can be usable just barely on legion if you bring right add ons. But for everyone else it's useless. They should rather change it first injury -6% slower repairing. Second injury -5% slower and third injury -4% and everyone being injured -3% so then it would be worth on other killers not just on plague.
I do like that change... not going to lie
But on the other hand... If they did buff the base Gen regression then we wouldn't see that much 2+ Gen regression perks being used
-
It was a overbuff... 10 more seconds on each Gen then add in the slowdown of Thana (and Dying Light) and you get "forever" builds
If they just buffed the base Gen regression... they could've left Thana where it was
-
@ad19970: They did make the basekit for Killers but left out Gen regression basekit buff that they needed
-
The devs don't have experience in matchmaking... so they are winging it

Nobody mentioned anything about grades in this thread.
Sorry... I'm on the forums a lot
-
Corrupt, Sloppy Butcher, Brutal Strength... 4th perk can be any one (or more) of
STBFL, Thana (or not cause they are changing it), BBQ, Jolt (if you want Gen regression), Nurse's calling (if you want to know if/when Survivors are healing), Lethal Pursuer
-
Well Camping and Tunneling are a thing cause the regression rate is laughable at this point... yes Perks do help but that doesn't help when Gens can be done fast
So if players want to complain about Camping and Tinneling just think about Progression V regression... just saying
-
Grades are more about time played in the month but on the other hand it does equate to skill to a degree... cause if players are "always" iridescent grade then that means that they are good enough to stay in the iridescent grade range

I'm aware you gave more than Wraith. My bias just went off and I responded. lmao.
Fair enough
-
It's the ego part... plus Tunneling has been overcomplained about so now everyone is looking for it
-
Those sound cool...
Hex: Ruin- revert it back to increaseing Gen regression 200%... I guess it can keep the deactivation
Corrupt Intervention- either increase the number of Gen blocked by 1 but reduce the time by 20 seconds
Hangman's Trick- increase the range by 1 or 2 meters and/or increase Sabotaging Hooks by 2 or so seconds
Brutal Strength- either make Gens regress after 1 kick or make it 50% reduction of time kicking/breaking

If you're willing to play the long game and accept that generators are going to get done, Wraith can be very, very mean with aura reading abilities.
Take that from a player with at least 500+ hours on just Wraith. I feel it's stronger than just a maybe. Also, just like any killer, survivors who are SWFing and on coms will likely run circles around you. How hard depends on how mean you want to let yourself be.
I was just answering the OP
Seeing how they said they wanted to play with Lethal Pursuer
Also I gave more then Wraith...
-
OP... you forgot about why Killers run certain perks (and I didn't read -I admit it- if anyone else has or not
Corrupt- Map design
Ruin- don't have to kick Gens and more regression
Those two are the biggest changes IMO
-
Any Killer... Lethal Pursuer, BBQ, I'm All Ears, Floods Of Rage
Seems LP increases the aura reading time use that
Gearhead might work seems they changed it... I THINK
Hangman's Trick maybe... but it's useless right now
The Dredge's aura reading perk (I don't know what it's called)
Wraith with the aura reading addon... maybe
Mickey with the aura reading addon... maybe
Hag with the aura reading addon... maybe
Pig with the aura reading addon... maybe
-
She's hard to have fun with... or should I say it's hard for me to say what's fun with her without knowing how you play
For me I try to get a trap on before the first Gen is done... repeat 3 more times on the other Survivors... then see what happens after that
-
Like 10%... but I haven't played in 5-6 months
-
I'd say just play stealthy at first... getting one dash attack that lands is good enough (4 games like that and it's done)
Also you can use combat straps (speeds up crouching and standing up) and one of the other dash attack addons (a % speed increase on the dash attack)
-
They need to revert the changes and keep it a Hex
Or they could increase base Gen regression and think about Gen regression perks (yea all of them... even the ones that take away a % of progression)
-
There are many reasons why the Kill rates are "higher"...
Maps not being balanced is one thing...
The Devs messing up Gen times and Gen speeds... also Gen regression not getting changed but Killers base chase did get changed
Also the game being a 1V1V1V1V1 instead of a 4V1
Coding also has something to do with it (cause if they had better coding some of the issues wouldn't be an issue)
-
Base Progression: 1 charge per second (for a single Survivor... not sure about multiple Survivors)
Base Regression: .25 charges per second
Call Of Brine increases that to .50 for 60 seconds
So..... what about Gen regression being fast (even with Call of Brine)
Not saying that you are wrong about Gens being slow (I agree that that change was bad)... but it wasn't due to Call of Brine
-
This whole game is a vicious cycle
When something cause a side to build around (Gens, healing, Totems, chases... etc) to throw balance out the window (and Devs help with perk changes as well)
Gen take longer... Thana became a focal point of playstyle
Regression being (word I can't say out loud right now)... regression perks
And vice versa
-
I haven't played in 5-6 months
-
Wait.... didn't they add time on other aura reading perks with Lethal Pursuer?
-
The new Thana is more useful on Legion and Plague... they shot themselves in the foot to kill a mosquitoe
I don't like the Gen changes so why didn't revert that?
-
Or is it not giving full progression... Cause I think players have reported it
Also... they probably working on a fix for it right now.... we'll find out soon enough
-
Yea... BP offerings are a good way to get more BP... getting max BP on one category and having the Offering is better then barely getting any BP on a category that you used an Offering for... TL;DR BPS are top tier for a reason (Escape Cakes and Survivor Puddings work just as good)
But it's more about how you play your matches... and once you understand how the game rates how you do
Survivors: Doing Gens (1-2), getting saves/ protection hit, Healing, Cleansing Totems, Getting Chased (and losing chase), Sabotaging Hooks and Escaping
Killers: Having 1 or Gens left in the match (or not having the gates open), Hitting Survivors, Chasing Survivors, Using the Killers power (how that is scored is different for every Killer)
-
So Spirit is back.... I will definitely play more of her (on top of all of the other Killers)
But sadly I do need to spend time reading what and how things have been changed... So it's going to be a bit before I actually play a game

Hangmans what? Though in all seriousness bar the truly awful perks bbq is pretty bad.
But you said that BBQ is one of worst information Perks... So I offered another one for comparison...
Plus with all of the choices of information perks BBQ still stands as a good perk... IMO
-
Wow... is it that bad now... I haven't played for 4-5 months at this point
But then again I saw the same things happening when I did play... so it being because of the patch is not true
And I don't think that Survivors are forcing the Killrate to be inflated by any means... cause why and which Killers does it happen to???

Its worse then every other information perk. Thrilling tremors, dead mans, discordance. Its really hard to argue bbq is a god perk in comparison.
Also bbq massively encouraged spreading your hooks out with the double bp gain. Its a shame we have one less perk that actually encourages keeping more survivors in the game. Overall bbq is imo inferior to every other info perk.
So is BBQ worse the Hangman's Trick?
Cause I don't think so

I’m more so talking about how the devs always seem to release survivor perks very weak and then potential buff them up later. A new chapter release should have the perks be centre stage especially for survivors since the character themself is just a skin. The same generally doesn’t occur for killer (Still does in some cases like pyramid head)
Ok I got ya now... and yes I've noticed that as well
-
So let me get this right....
You are saying that the New Survivor Perks are weaker then what already is in the game?
Maybe cause they realized what they did with previous Survivor Perks and didn't want that to happen again... cause maybe it's bad if 1 Survivor runs a Perk but if all 4 Survivor do it then it becomes an issue (IMO)
Also 1 Killer is in play per match so the Killer side does kinda need a little more power in the perks (again IMO)
-
Fixing Maps should be the start of balancing (IMO)
Getting the Maps reasonable (no more Killer/Survivor sided Maps) should be the goal
-
Looking at the changes to the perks... They changed the "meta" to change the "meta"
More specifically what perks were "meta"
The "meta" hasn't changed... it was doubled down on
-
I have said it a lot... But increasing the base regression would have been just as good
Cause if the base regression was .50 then Killers would actually spend more time kicking Gens (but I digress)
Also Maps have something to do with that as well... and I mean everything about Maps need to change
Some Killers Powers would need to be looked at (cause getting the Killers Power right means more Killers are good enough... depending on skill)
Plus seems how Ruin got nerfed... it would make sense
-
That's funny to imagine
But how about a steep hill but with broken steps
-
So take away SWF, Solo's and Perks for a moment...
Maps being what they are
Regression being what it is
Progression being what it is now
Throw in 10 more seconds of repair
Items and Addons being what they are
So what's the real issue...
-
It would just cause Killers to use other perks....
But in a way it would work for those Killers that already don't Camp
But then again why make all regression perks work that way... that in of itself is worse then anything they have done
-
It's all apart of the cycle at this point
The Gens take 50 more seconds to complete and with base Gen regression being the same Killers have to actually think about what perks they bring and Thanatophobia seems good now
-
I'm more curious on how they will interpret the stats... cause they messed up with some of the changes (IMO)
-
Matchmaking and accusing all Killers of Camping and Tunneling... yea I can see why
-
They needed to change the base Gen regression seeing how players are complaining about that... as i have said before the real reason Ruin was used so much was the increased Gen regression and the automatic start of that Gen regression
-
Since the made Gen take longer... of course the Survivors would use perks that made it easier to do Gens
-
Overcharge- increases Gen regression after 30 seconds
Call Of Brine- increases Gen regression by 200% for 60 seconds... and the Killer can see if you are working on that Gen (so you are kinda playing right into it)
Eruption- relies on Kicking (a) Gen(s) before getting a down
Anyway I do find it funny how Overcharge and Call of Brine and being used when they both increase the Gen regression (cause that would've been my change for the base game)
-
It all depends on how you want to play....
I can't suggest what perks to use cause i haven't played the game in a while
-
I'd imagine some players trying out new builds but might end up with a "meta" which is sad to say
When I played (which was before the Dredge was on the PTB) there were a wider verity of perks being used... But me playing Killer I didn't mess with my build that much (even which Killers I played... which is boring to me)
-
Party size wasn't the issue... It is Maps (just everything about them needs to be changed
And adding more time onto Gens wasn't needed... it was increasing base Gen regression (IMO)
-
Because Slowdown perks have different activation conditions and Endurance doesn't have that many ways of activating
-
Cause they put more time on Gens and not increasing the base Gen regression
Just because they put more time onto Gens doesn't mean they solved the issue
They also nerfed: Ruin, Corrupt (a little bit), made Call Of Brine do more then necessary... Need I go on
Plus they said how to increase MMR (by getting Kills/ Escaping and nothing else matters)
