All these tears. What happened to the adapt and overcome mentality?
Hard to say that when the other side keeps crying for nerfs. As a killer main im fine with stuff like DS, DH, BT, ect but things change if the survivor mains dont reciprocate.
-
She seems strong but i wonder how easy it will be to exploit her changes in chases, a good dead hard will be the bane of Nurse even more so than other killers. She definitely also loses a massive amount of gen pressure.
-
Its pretty obvious the survivors are switching their focus on the next killer. They got Nurse nerfed and are now onto the next killer. Should Spirit get nerfed they move onto Billy.
-
Killer is the power role in the newbie ranks but good survivor teams are the power role in the higher ranks. This is something killer mains often overlook, you can have an insanely good survivor but if the rest of the team sucks then there isnt much he can do. Killers can snowball a game very easily by exploiting the weak link in a team but if there is no weak link most killers will have a difficult time to progress in any game.
That being said survivors feel entitled to be able to 1v1 the killer. This is why killers that have the advantage during chases like Spirit are unacceptable for survivors and need a nerf. "I cant reliably 1v1 the Spirit so she is boring and needs a nerf!"
-
Because i like games where i hunt people down while they try to escape.
-
Spirit definitely does. The entity specifically took her instead of her father because of her emotions, it wouldnt make any sense to then remove those emotions.
-
I do feel slightly bad during the matches where i steam roll because of something and the results screen shows everyone at 10k. But only slightly.
-
They are OP but i dont mind them as they arent common. The biggest issue i have with them when i play survivor isnt the item itself but that i always have to worry if my team mates will begin DCing.
I never get tired of watching the killing animations though even if its done on me.
-
Close the hatch first. Then hunt them down.
I use them as practice when something about my killer is rusty. If im spirit i hit them and then try to phase walk them down via noise. If im billy i try to snipe them via long range chainsaw run. If im freddy i run them into a loop and try to get them to trigger as many traps as possible while getting looped. Ect...

Oct 18 to Nov 2 is the date line if we think of the previous Halloween event. That being said i wouldnt be shocked if it starts on the 13th.
-
I dont mind keys. There are a lot of crazy stuff for survivors/killers and if we just start nerfing everything that sticks out the game will become dull.
-
I would say its because of a couple reasons;
- Higher rank players are naturally more competitive and have a higher chance of getting salty when they lose
- Most of the community is perfectly fine but the silent majority will always be overlooked when compared to the vocal minority
- There are certain mechanics whether your survivors of killer that can get under your skin and if you lose to that mechanic you are more likely to get salty.
-
From what i see survivors seem to want the ability to 1v1 any killer.
"If me and the killer are of equal skill i should be able to escape them 90% of the time."
Which is completely silly. Spirit is one of the few killers that has the advantage in a chase and for survivors this is unacceptable. Prayer Beads is the low hanging fruit, but i can guarentee you even if PB is nerfed they will not stop complaining and look for the next issue.
-
"He's good, but i like [this killer] more."
Is a common line i see talking to my friends about demo. He isnt bad or anything its just... there are stronger/more fun killers to play.
-
Demo could look amazing with it. Imagine spirit's mouth blight but changed for Demo's mouth.
-
Spirit is strong but not OP and in DbD where killer is supposed to be the power role this is fine. I wouldnt mind the swapping of the rarity although i am not sure if this would help much (it definitely wont stop complaints)
-
While Spirit is strong she isnt OP and thats fine, the killer is supposed to be the power role. From what i read survivors have the expectation to be able to 1v1 her most if not all of the time. Thats not this works, thats not how any of this works.
-
Im still skeptical on if they just want to promote fanart or if they are going to add it in but i wouldnt mind that addition.
The rhythmic chime-like sound from the killer PoV section can be very nice or end up very annoying after hearing it multiple times. Im not sure.
-
The entity feeds off of this stuff, i would feel like he would want to hear the screams of the survivors rather than a whimper. He has the power to warp reality to his will and as such making everyone screams beautiful would be what he wants (except Steve, lol)
-
He is an interesting idea but his bottles are too lackluster. I have so many survivors just ignore the cloud if they got him in a good loop.
-
I agree as killer mains we should find ways to counter it than complaining.
- Decisive Strike? Slug them for a minute.
- Dead Hard? Run after them for an extra 2 seconds, they freak out on their own and randomly DH.
- Borrowed Time? Hit the rescuer when they are lifting them off the hook and tunnel them afterward.
- Adrenaline? Use NOED
Of course OP i would like the same consideration too, its only natural you know? Dont complain about Nurse, Spirit, Prayer Beads, NOED, Mori, Iri Heads, ect.
