I Don't think of it as a bad perk, the extra 20% healing debuff is only a couple extra seconds so unless you decide to heal under the killer it's not a big deal
Unless you run self care which sloppy counters hard
-
HSH is less popular at the moment than DBD so there is no way bhvr will do a collab and popularize their "competition"
If I was marketing I would ignore it until it fades into obscurity to remain the top dog

Again, you're bringing the wrong examples. Each killer in the game, original or not, has a theme revolving around violence and torment. Adding a "golden retriever that licks the survivor to death" (I'm assuming this supposed dog concept doesn't have any creepy or tormenting powers?) wouldn't work.
What are you talking about? The theme would be how a seemingly ordinary doggo could be a vicious murderer. Not every killer needs to be scary or grotesque you know. Perhaps there's more to it than just visuals, eh?

Can't really use Myers as an example since he's already an established character with his own style and aesthetics.
Dbd has its own established style too with its with its darker and grimy aesthetics. Now with more costumes and killers breaking that aesthetic more players that liked that are complaining. I can understand why people who enjoyed the creepy Shape or disturbing Blight are getting put off by the pretty boy Trickster.
I mean we can all agree that if the next killer is a golden retriever dog that licks the survivor to death its ok to complain about how the good boi isn't scary, right?

The Lightburn mechanic is outdated, since Wraith will be able to walk around while cloaked in bright daylight.
Muh inconsistencies devs, remove it pls.
With best regards,
Boss
...don't need to state this is a joke-y post, right?
Thats where your wrong kiddo, Wraith will now be perma stunned when he cloaks and Nurse will immediately get lightburn if she tries to warp.

When eating food presentation can be as important as taste. There have been studies that show the exact same food can "taste" worse depending on if it looks appetizing or not.
Killers are similar. Sure there are some that don't mind it but the people that complain about this type of thing want scary/grotesque monsters to go against. It would be like being confused why fans are complaining about the new Michael Myers movie when Mike is dressed in a tutu with a rubber chicken as a weapon.
-
Better but not good. The main problem is how easy it is to hide behind something and make him useless. Sure he can eventually throw enough knives to injure/down you but as a survivor your job isn't to win chases but prolong them as much as possible which is easy to do.
One thing ive noticed going against him (and it might be the inexperience with trickster) is how people let obvious m1's go in favor of getting some more knife throws. There are times they could've easily hurt me with a melee attack but end up getting looped for another minute because they wanted to get those last 2 knives instead.

McLean (a dev) already said you shouldn't get used to it,meaning it will be fixed at some point in the future.
But if that means in a couple years then maybe it's not a bad idea.

Oh boy I can't wait for next patch where devour hope gets nerfed!

Hows nurses calling helpful? Isnt his tr larger?
Yes his TR is 33m while nurses is 28m. With Legion you should have most injured and therefore they will heal. Having Nurses helps prevent heals and locating survivors, especially if they self care.
I used to love using it with sloppy until that got nerfed.
-
BBQ, Nurse's Calling, Ruin, Undying

I think it's fine. Exaustion perks are all good and if DH wasn't a thing you will see more Sprint Bursts. If you think DH is bad imagine an increase in people who 99% their SB.
Side note, when I read your title I genuinely didn't know if 'broken' meant OP or if 'broken' meant it didn't work half the time.
-
Mind breaker is useless. The increase is only a few seconds and you get the exaustion notification. Knowing this if survivors hear the TR they will just stop working on the gen or hide and the effect is gone.
Cruel limits can have some use in niche situations but there are far more perks that are far more useful. 4 slots mean it's a competition between perks and CL even with it's buff will lose out Everytime.
-
Increase PH's butt to it's original size.
-
Vault speed build isnt pointless, you just need good looping skills.
So step 1 for everyone. Get good at looping.
-
You don't. If you failed to build up enough momentum while he spent last 10 min getting it, your screwed.
-
"We have noticed that 80% of red rank killers use Ruin+Undying and instead of investigating why this is happening we are going to rework these perks."
Calling it now.
-
Don't exploit bugs that give you an unfair advantage. But this is the exception, to say don't play an entire killer just because a survivor might have a perk is absurd.
-
Its happened to me quite a few times where survivors even wiggled out. You need to find another hook or drop+pick up which will then let you hook.
There is an exploit where people intentionally massively increase their lag to make them immune to getting hooked. But this is not what you are talking about.
-
Its a cool perk but unless you are running a heal build or want to unhook next to killers it's not as useful as other perks.
-
Is that a gun in your hands or are you just happy to see me.
-
Give us the feature where you can take a pic of your face and then turn it into an in game face.
-
Throw on an ebony Mori.

I play exclusively on switch these days since I'm a sucker for handheld gaming. The biggest problem with switch dbd is the frame rate drops and it's not a simple "Oh I am playing at 54 fps my life is over." I'm talking 15-20 fps during skill checks.
-
Yes I stopped playing killer until at least the hook bug is finished.
-
Only if you like the cosmetic or if you have a large amount of useless BP. Otherwise P3'ing your characters are a waste of time.
If you want to do it then collect BP until you hit the cap then prestige the killer.
-
Pig, she isn't hard but I dislike the traps especially when i need to go through every single box.
-
Remove the hex part or remove the Cooldown.
-
Its understandable, his high skill cap combined with his pathetic ptb version gave a very large amount of people a negative impression.
-
I definitely think he has potential to be very good once people start to get better but I don't think he is perfect. He is bad at places you can't get an angle on plus his limited turning mid rush can get a bunch of whiffs.
Survivors are still relatively inexperienced but once they realise "Hey I can turn around this corner and he physically cannot hit me" things are going to get harder.
-
My opinion is that the majority of the playerbase are casuals that play 2-3 matches every couple days and move on. Most have 1 survivor at 50 and like 3 killers at 50.
The forums and similar places show a skewed perspective simply because the type of person to look for a gaming website to discuss stuff is very different compared to the person that does not go out of their way to find a gaming website.
-
Scoring system is getting more hate than it deserves. It definitely was survivor biased but since both teams got to play as survivor/killer it wasn't unfair.
Ending got weird but the drama made things interesting so i didn't mind.
I like the idea that lower end killers can pick higher rarity add ons while stronger killers get lower rarity add ons. Fleshing this out could help with the Spirit/Nurse monotony.
Survivor builds were as expected but I did not expect Camaraderie to be used. I forgot that perk existed.

idk who mclean is, but you're telling me they'll change it? and when? soon or after a few months?
Mid chapter patch is my guess. So in a couple weeks (if not this Tuesday), at the same time that green add on will get mega nerfed.

Wait Kate had jiggle physics? First PH and now Kate? And apparently Spirit still has jiggle physics?
This thread has blown my mind

I only caught the end of it but can someone give me a recap? Someone said they played 8 times. I know someone faked a camaraderie bug but how did that make it into 8 games?
Agony won after they had a match that didn't have a bug or end in a tie. In addition to that the down time between each match was very large.
One match Ruin's totem didn't spawn. Another match Camaraderie caused a struggling survivor to die (or so they say, maybe it's a bug maybe they didn't button spam enough)
The meme of Fingerguns was born because he was a very good survivor, an insanely amazing nurse and got a 4% Kobe into an escape.
-
Tunneling is when you go after a survivor that was just unhooked, aka having tunnel vision.
-
Didn't Nea have killer perks in her bloodweb? It's kinda hard to ignore that.
-
I agree he needs a buff. Unless you have 500 IQ he is difficult. Trapper's early game is abysmal and bigger maps hurt him even more than the average killer. Old ruin was his saving grace but that's dead.
Giving him 2-3 traps default would help but even then I doubt that would help his viability much.
-
One thing I always wanted was when survivors are hit with the ranged attack they get auto tormented.
-
Depending on how out of my way it is. If they are hurt/hooked and near me I will help them. If they are on the other side of the map and I'm doing a gen I'm not going to help.
-
They will make his butt bigger
-
Devs wanted to put in an individual ranking for each killer. So a red rank who never played Nurse could learn without getting destroyed. That requires they patch the obvious exploit of searching for a team with a low rank killer only to switch to your main.
While the individual killer ranking has been turned off they kept the killer lock, I'm assuming because they want to implement it back in later.
-
It being a non hex with a 40/50/60 Cooldown would be good
It being a hex perk with no Cooldown would be good
The fact that it's a hex with a Cooldown is just weird. Unless your really lucky it's going to be removed after 1-3 uses and that doesn't even guarantee those uses will be useful.
-
It's fantastic to play blight using it but I would be shocked if they don't nerf it into the ground in a week.
-
It's not the big head that the blight is using.
-
Official reason is that the clothing are made as an entire set in mind so if it's sold individually there would be issues with clipping and stuff.
That being said, it's pretty obvious the devs are lying through their teeth and this is a lazy cash grab. With the exception of PH that might have licensing requirements.
-
Red means there is an effect causing you to do an action slower
Yellow means there is an effect causing you to do an action faster.
When multiple people work on a gen you individually get a 15% gen repair debuff but since there are multiple people working on it the gen itself is finished faster than solo.
-
Most people only run if spinechill is active for a while. Looking at the gen for a brief period of time will not make them run. Walk toward the gen looking away at a 90 degree angle and listen if there are people working on it.
I like running Surveillance, not only does it increase the distance you can hear gen repairs but this way you don't need to do the awkward walk to every gen, only the ones that light up.
-
Nurse's, Sloppy, BBQ and Pop
-
Two reasons according to the devs:
- 80%+ of high rank killers used it
- It was too punishing for newbie survivors
