Remember guys, this system took 2 years to develop and is as good at deciphering skill as the last one.
-
Or M&K support WOOOOOO
And nobody talked about the 60 FPS promise that they are definitely still working on!
-
Let's go Console's getting #########.
No graphic settings for us boys.

Actually you can, it just takes proper timing of flicking the stick to do so.
95% of people say you can't.
I'll test it.

It only took me two years, but I will finally see Legion buffs.

Legion....buffs?
My lord, is that...legal?

"You can't flick"?
Console Blight's have been able to flick for quite some time now, ever since they buffed controller sensitivity.
No, you cannot flick your bounces.
You can sort of flick your swing, but you can't quickly turn to re-adjust your angle when bouncing.
-
No

Two years for this joke of a system is pretty hysterical, imo.

Then why promise these changes and not give us any updates on it whatsoever?
WE've been waiting on Crossprogression for ages, for prestige rewards to be reworked, for a rework of the grind for over a year,
I've been waiting for Console Optimization since 2018 :(

Sprint Burst is definitely not bad and is better than Dead Hard. Balanced Landing is actually much stronger than Lithe. Don't get me wrong, Dead Hard is good but for extending chases or stopping chases before they start, give me Sprint Burst or Balanced Landing anyday.
I wish I got people who thought that in my games. That would be much easier to deal with.

Plus Felix didn't make a thread that brought attention to the Entity's poor performance.
All in all, if your hair game's on point as well I'll have to surrender.

Lol. If they nerf dh, you will be the first screaming how the game became unfun for killers because everyone uses SB, that you can no longer catch people off guard, dead zones do not matter, and chases overall take too long to even catch up to survivors.
Not really.
Sprint Burst is kinda bad and most of the Survivors I play against seem to agree. Now, if people were to figure out how good Lithe is, that may be an issue.
-
Yes, and T-L's.
Basically just helps shore up an area he's weak in on Console since you can't flick.

I used to run bamboozle instead of shadowborn so i know where you're coming from.
And i think anyone knows why ruin, tinkerer pop lol. I just dont wanna win too much and focus on practicing his power before i get to stupid high mmr
That's a good strategy I think.
That build will let you practice on your way up though. You won't need to take it seriously at all and it instills some good instincts into you. Spreading out pressure and a general sense for gen progression, for starters.

95% of the time, yes.
I believe we spoke about it in the, ahem, big thread.

Also it's only useful at the start of a chase. And doesn't feel as cheap as Dead Hard could be.
Source: I use Dead Hard in literally every one of my survivor game.
I also use Dead Hard in every one of my increasingly frequent Survivor games.

Do you think Shadowborn, BBQ, Pop and corrupt is a good build?
I certainly think that's fine to start with. I like your thinking with Shadowborn!
I personally use something similar to the "Basic ######### Blight Build" which is Ruin, Tinkerer, Bamboozle and Pop. I can explain my choices, if you like.
-
I can try.
A good build is essential on Blight. He is good enough that a build will carry you and you will have time to catch your skill up.
You can't flick, you just gotta accept that and play way more heavily into predicting Survivors. It's guesswork, but you can read some people like a book and it feels great.

A gamer who struggles with optimization.
I was more going for the prodigious engineer who was crippled by debilitating and dangerous health issues and forced to drop out of school to help his family.
However, I will accept yours as well, it is more relevant here.

Everyone would move to sprint burst. The world surprisingly wouldn't end.
Sprint Burst is so much less powerful and way more counterable.
I would enjoy that time.

Just on Legion? I am relatively new here and as far as I can tell, all kinds of significant bugs are perceived as intended features. Lol.
It was more like people just went, "This is dumb, but it seems in-line with other restrictions placed on him, so it seems normal."
Like, Legion is so crippled by restrictions and stupid things that people saw that bug and just went, welp, par for the course and nobody reported it.
-
Seriously though, the base game costs 30 USD on Xbox.
The non-grind DLC characters (licensed) are 90 USD alone.
If you want all of the non-included DLC characters on Console, it's 185 USD (assuming all characters are 5 USD and that Survivors up to Bill are free and that Killers up to Huntress are free). In total, that means the full DBD experience is a whopping 215 USD!
That's not including the grind at all.

For the record this wasn't a restriction they put on him during the nerf, this has been there since his PTB.
I'm pretty sure there was a bug with his scratchmarks not appearing when you cancel fatigue (or something with aura's during fatigure maybe) and everyone kinda just assumed it was an intended feature and it got brought up once and one of the Devs popped in and said "Yeah, no, that isn't working right" and I still find it hilarious that people assume debilitating bugs are intended features on Legion.
-
Usually two. Ruin + Pop is my go to.
Sometimes I stack more, sometimes I don't, it really depended on what my matches were like

Believe me, I am all for the game going F2P the second they get an anti-cheat that ######### works instead of kicking people out because their hardware has rgb lighting on it.
I'd like that as well.
Unfortunately, that probably isn't going to happen.

Just when you thought the hacker problem couldn't get any worse, suddenly it just has.
I doubt it'd be that much worse. BHVR still needs better anti-cheat.
Regardless, $30 for the game and $90 for DLC (not including stuff you could buy with Shards) is ridiculous.

Even since the nerf? Literally count to 12 (assuming it’s tier 3). Lots of situations 12 seconds isn’t nearly enough to get somewhere safe. Yes it can still make or break it for some saves but I almost never use it after the change. Practically a waste of a perk slot.
12 seconds is still an extremely long time. You can move 48 meters in 12 seconds and that's MORE than enough space to find a loop.
-
They are kind of good. I don't blame people for running them, but BHVR does need to balance them a bit better.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
Okay so, this is a company and must make their money somehow. We can agree on this one, yes?
So, I ask you this question: would you rather the chapters be cheap, or the skins be cheap? You can have one or the other, but not both.
The answer to this question will probably answer the entire post
Okay but if you are going to be charging 5 USD per character, the game should be F2P with how many characters we have now.
-
Mine, my lore is unchallenged.
-
@Munqaxus said:
So what would you suggest? I guess the developers can add bots so you can play against them?
He's asking for it to be fun.
Jesus Christ, you just jump to conclusions don't you?
-
Should there be more than just Kills and Escapes? Yes, absolutely.
Is BHVR capable of coding that complicated of a system? Probably not.
-
I'm pretty sure it took several months for Mettle of Man to be nerfed.

Why? if they were good, they shouldn’t have any issues. SBMM is showing how good everyone actually is
That's only true if the game were balanced and if SBMM worked.

I mean, it makes sense though.
Companies are always gonna want to appeal to the majority of their consumers.

That was sorta my point with that example XD

@Sonzaishinai said:
Boons also only affect things in a 28m radius. Aren't active at the start of the match. Takes 14 seconds to place and another 14 seconds everytime the killer finds it and spends 2 to deactivate it.
If you are going to compare them then compare them fully.
Just think how worthless hexes would be if we had to spend 14 seconds to place them, they only affected a 28m radius around them and the survivor could disable them in 2 seconds.
That's 56m of diameter. That's a quarter-ish of Mother's Dwelling, iirc. You can place them whenever and wherever you want. They are infinite and offer an extremely powerful effect.
If I could chose to save Ruin for a 3-gen and place it in some obscure spot to force the Survivors to break it while I kill off their teammates I would take that ASAP

Tunneling and Camping are meta. Decisive Strike is an answer to Killer game play.
....which means it's meta.

Ok these first few Vs Demogorgon are on Father Campbells Chapel which isn't a big map, or one I would usually associate with freezes like RPD.
This one is a Blast Mine freeze with a hook that doesn't freeze:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPA9NifSRec
This one is a freeze when Demogorgon enters the portal:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jro67SrnVdI
This one is also Demogorgon when entering portal, but another hook that does not freeze weirdly:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nLoRkHAmbg
And this last one is Freddy freezing when a survivor drops a dream pallet, but it is on RPD:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmIBLM9wBbs
All on a standard base PS4.
Very interesting.
I can also confirm that Nemesis's Tentacle still freezes when you are Contaminated as Survivor.

He’s in a decent spot already. No need to nerf his box/chain hunt mechanic.
If anything just make it so Pinhead doesn’t break his own chains.
The only thing that keeps him relevant is his box.
His actual chase is extremely weak.

You don’t have to nerf one aspect of his power just to buff his chase power. That’s the problem with the killer balancing taking place today.
Well, he'd be much too strong with insane 4v1 and good 1v1.
Something has to give.
