A Legion buff will happen before either of these.
-
You'd still sweat lol.
The game is fundamentally unbalanced, Survivors objective is way easier to complete and that doesn't change if you remove perks.

It’s probably still Spirit. Nurse and Blight just aren’t designed to play on controller.
I'm 99% sure that BHVR doesn't consider Consoles when designing new Killers at this point.
-
Most likely.
-
Boss Protocol's FAQ page said to expect an announcement on Monday, so we'll see later today I suppose.
-
This game should be free to play.

Is that the bile talkin? Or the compound disappointment?
Maybe a lil from column a and a dash from column b?
Maybe if they start to fail they'll actually make decent decisions.

I wish it were.

I don't know if this is adressed but when playing as Ghostface AND with the power active, if I get stuned by a pallet my FAN goes like crazy for 2 or 3 seconds (like it use to happen in the offerings screen). Has anyone suffered this issue?
Platform: PS4
I play on Xbox so I can't be certain.
@bm33 don't you play on PS4?

How is it not fun?
How is hooking more fun for Killers or Survivors?
Because you don't sit on the hook for 4 minutes with no way to speed up that process.

Pinhead isn't going to get changed regarding Hoarder/Franklin's due to its strength. It's going to get changed (hopefully) because it's the most insanely unfun thing in the game.
Then you have to buff him appropriately because he is pitifully weak without his Box.
-
Not often. Maybe 10% of the time.
Most Killers (correctly) recognize that I'm the weak link in the team and try to tunnel me out. That's smart, but I'm not entirely helpless.

Yeah, that doesn't surprise me. BHVR really just ######### console players with the way they design Killers.
And yeah, that's fair. I personally don't really get motion sick, but I can only imagine she would mess with that real bad.
Well, yeah. The last 5 Killers have been broken or garbage on Console when they've launched.
(Blight, Twins, Trickster, Nemesis and Pinhead)
-
I think I've seen two Console Nurse's and they both got 4 man escaped.
Also, she makes me super motion sick.

The devs promised that they will work harder in their 4th anniversary stream on big events and we barely get anything but skins. I don't believe their promises.
You and me both.
They promised 60 FPS for Console's over two years ago.
Not sure where that ended up.

Hackers can change their ID in seconds or can link their name with another Steam Profile.
I know. I'm just pointing out what they said on their 5th anniversary stream.

an auto-ban system wouldnt be the worst of ideas. I'm sure it couldnt be too difficult to have in game checks where if it detects something that shouldn't be physically possible like a perk being used multiple times, or survivors changing health states too fast etc. Especially if they can have these checks happen server side it should HEAVILY limit the cheaters. A similar system is used in War Thunder, they have server side game checks where if it detects an action happening that shouldn't be possible due to ingame values, then the game wont let it happen. So if a tank with a 5 second reload fired every 1 second, the server would catch that and just not let the shot be registered.
Here.

I do feel maybe it's time BHVR try and expand the team a little bit, with a dedicated team for dealing with reports and hacking issues, providing they dont already. Or even just updating their anti-cheat. But I imagine it's not all that simple.
Well, they mentioned an auto-ban system a while back...
-
I've already had two routers fried by people on this game, so, yeah. I'm on board with getting rid of hackers.
Not sure why anyone wouldn't be.
-
He sucks if he's not consistently getting his Chain Hunts.
They don't do anything in a chase, but they slow down gens massively.
-
I learn from them.
I watch them and learn how they move, what they expect me to do and how they respond.
I don't often encounter Survivors that I genuinely feel are better than me. It's usually they get a good map with good RNG or they bring a lot of ######### that turns the tide unfairly towards them.
Sometimes though, I encounter god squads and, depending on the Killer I'm playing, I accept that there isn't much I can do. I got a few of them as Blight and I genuinely felt that there was no way I could play any better than what I was doing at that point. I played the best game of my career and still got 4-man escaped.
-
That's ######### if that's how it went down.
-
From Boss Protocol's FAQ page:
-
I just think Sacrificial Wards shouldn't be consumed if a map offering wasn't played.
-
Yeah, they need to say something soon otherwise it won't matter if it's false or not.
-
I hope it isn't true, but it doesn't seem outside of BHVR's poor decision making process to consider this a good idea.
-
It had better not be true.

Stranger Things didn't end positively. Netflix forcibly cut the contract. BHVR wants it to continue.
From what I can tell, BHVR can't get the license if they didn't agree to this #########.
Stranger Things did end positively.
It wasn't renewed because Netflix wants to make a AAA Stranger Things game.

If it's true, I'm out and DBD enters The Second Dark Times.

Don't like it? Stop playing. The game is way too dark naturally. I don't enjoy playing a game where I can't see half the things going on that I need to see. I use my NVIDIA filters to see rofl

the 74% renewable sources is disputed.
china is indeed the world's biggest polluter. this doesn't change the fact that NFTs consume more energy, and thus have more carbon emissions, than most small countries.
this isn't just about mining the ETH either, we also need to factor in the issue of storing them, which uses yet more energy and thus more carbon.
they are the antithesis of good. the climate crisis creeps ever closer to being irreversable; the stance shouldn't be "eh it's not as bad as this" it should be "what the ######### change them both".
stop trying to defend NFTs because it really isn't a look.
I'm not defending them, you're just assuming I am because I'm not immediately taking your side on an issue I know very little about.
I'll do my own research.

no, this is not okay.
https://www.investopedia.com/tech/whats-environmental-impact-cryptocurrency/
"Not all cryptocurrencies have significant environmental impacts. Many of them do not use mining at all." the ones commonly used (BTC and ETH) do need to be mined, though.
Okay.
From my understanding, most pollution comes from there already.
Unless you want to force China to adopt better energy practices, it's unlikely businesses will stop.
And it says 74% comes from renewable energy, isn't that good?

Basically, you open paint, draw a squiggle and get it authorised as an NFT. Now it has your name attached with a stamp of authenticity. People can still copy the squiggle and use it at a wallpaper but it isn't "authentic"
Okay. I don't really see a huge issue with that though.
Seems kinda dumb, but a lot of things seem kinda dumb to me.

it's a certificate that says you own a piece of digital media without giving you any legal rights to this digital media. most look like #########, are very expensive, and the currency used to buy them kills the environment.
That's just most digital media though.

I have a question for console people. If BHVR were able to get cross-progression working, and you could move to a different platform and keep all of your stuff, would that be an acceptable solution or no?
No, it would not.

Sluzzy, with a good take?
We must truly be in a dire state if I find myself agreeing with Sluzzy.

No.
Here's why:
Ruin, Undying, Tinkerer and PGTW
then
No Way Out, NOED, Bloodwarden and Remember Me.

Trapper and Hag: perks are good ideas, though i would've thought Hag would've got Make Your Choice. But i'll take this in mind
Leatherface: was right, i use Iron WILL. When survivors see me charging a chainsaw, they dive into a locker to avoid it, this counters that. Also, i'm not really looking for a basement build.
Pig: seems useful
Demo: its not my usual build, but Pgtw could be useful i guess
Blight: Same as Demo
Nemesis: I'll have to look into that one, if you recommend it so highly, there must be something to it
Twins: I try not to slug. Are there any perks that work while playing Victor?
Pinhead: I thought of that one too
Thanks for the answers
Leatherface: Iron Will is not a Killer perk, I believe you mean Iron Maiden. I would recommend you swap this out and instead hit the locker with the saw. Most Survivors do not know the timing, which will result in either a down or a grab.
Twins: Victor is really really really good at slugging and camping, and unfortunately not much else. Most perks do not have any functionality with him due to straight up not working.
Demo and Blight: Battle Demo is super fun, but that Blight Build can be a little boring at lower MMR.

Trapper ~ Corrupt Intervention. It will buy you time to set-up your traps and can help make a killer three-gen which will be very strong for you.
Hag ~ Corrupt Intervention. Trap Killers benefit a lot from Corrupt, it really gives you time to set up an area.
Leatherface ~ I'm assuming that Iron Will is supposed to be Iron Grasp, so I'll say if you want that sort of build, run Iron Grasp, Agitation, Mad Grit and Starstruck.
Pig ~ Run PGTW. Good gen regression and can help keep those late-game gens from popping too fast.
Clown ~ Run Brutal Strength. The counter to Clown is to drop pallets, so you are gonna eat them, a lot. Brutal helps you get through them slightly faster.
Demo ~ To be honest, I recommend "Battle Demo." Enduring, Spirit Fury, PGTW and BBQ (or Ruin) with Barb's Glasses and Black Heart. It's just nice to Shred through pallets.
Oni ~ Infectious Fright. Perhaps his best perk. This will maximize the usage you get out of your Blood Fury.
Blight ~ PGTW, Undying or Tinkerer. Any of these help Blight become oppressive in his gen patrol, if you are good.
Nemesis ~ Save The Best For Last is great on Nemmy. His tentacle will let you save stacks but the cooldown reduction from STBFL is sooooo worth it.
Twins ~ Knockout. You're probably gonna be slugging anyway, so might as well use Knockout.
Pinhead ~ Hoarder's. Hoarder's will let you see when Survivors pick up the box, and the Box is his power.

Look, I get it if you like the current system, that really isn't something we can or should argue about. But don't defend the blatant lies we've been told. SBMMR was made out to be this complex system that would do its best to calculate your skill, it isn't, it never was and we've been fed nonsense for months and months.

Okay but let's not forget a few things:
Most Hexes affect the entire trial aka Ruin with its infinite range
Also old Undying revealed auras of survivors around dull and lit totems so it was even better at allowing killers to defend their hexes on top of already being a powerful slowdown combo with Ruin
Enter Boon totems which have a limited area of effect, require time to set up and can be destroyed very quickly by a killer if found.. I understand that it might seem "unbalanced" that they can put boons back up over and over again but that means that that person isn't on a gen.. And a Boon only affects a certain range around it. A boon in a dead zone isn't going to be very effective.
And again I keep going back to the point that this new mechanic encourages doing something other than gens. The PTB to live changes that have been announced are a good step in the right direction and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they get changed more but when I hear people say that Boons being reusable infinitely is unfair I just have to say like.. If they could be broken permanently nobody would run them because not enough value for that kind of temporary nature unlike hexes which affect the entire trial (Typically. I know some Hexes have limited range of effect).
A 28 meter radius is a 56 meter diameter. That's a quarter of Red Forest.
Med-kits are the most powerful Survivor item for a reason, the ability to heal yourself on command is extremely valuable. That's why Self-Care was nerfed so hardly.
