Why? if someone has unbreakable, slugging will force them to use their only recovery, rendering it useless for the rest of the trial, and if anyone has soul guard, now you know. Forget about nerfing deliverance, just delete the perk altogether.
I'm starting to think you just really dislike Deliverance

Because it's counterplay is slugging. Hahaha
I mean, I guess.
It's an extremely unpopular perk. I don't know why you'd even bother

It's not. I just hear a lot of complaints about slugging.
Okay.
So if Deliverance isn't a big deal, why do you keep mentioning it?

Is there another way to beat deliverance? How else do you stop 3 survivors from unhooking one? I'm pretty sure THE only way to beat deliverance IS to slug.
Why exactly is Deliverance so big of an issue for you?
-
I think it's probably unrealistic to expect anything for sounds.
No reason to not have an FoV slider though.

@betelgeuseyes said:

Not me personally but that could be a driving force to killers slugging. In other words, the existence of deliverance perk only encourages slugging that much more.
It isn't.
Deliverance is not a common perk at all.

I keep getting sent to EU servers, not fun for anyone involved.

Its based of a true story, Some of these killers are based of true killers who have done some horrible weird #########.
Based off of isn't remotely the same as created by.
BHVR has stated clearly that they don't want to be even remotely associated with the franchise. I support that decision, stay the ######### away from JC.

I think Borgo is my least favorite. It's color scheme actually strains my eyes, which isnt really what I'm looking for in a video game tbh.
Since I don't play on PC, I can't even use filters to make it less egregious.

bruh cob give only 3.7% regres in minute, you can't be serious
POV: You don't know how Dull Merchant works.
-
Skull Merchant:
PGTW, Eruption, CoB and Overcharge with Adi Valentine #1 and Shotgun Speakers or swap Adi Valentine for Brown Noise Generator.
In terms of demonic builds for psychos, this is about the best (or worst) of the best.
-
In my experience, pretty much all Fengs and Claudettes are either babies or extremely toxic.
Pretty much no in-between

This is a fairly common Wesksr tech.
If you look down while charging your power at a pallet, it looks like the break animation.

lol yeah Some of these killers are becoming extinct.
endangered species list: twins, hag, demo, & freddy
That will only get worse as time goes on.
When I first started playing, there were only 11 Killers. You'd see all of them pretty frequently, except for Hag and OG Freddy. Even those though, you'd catch one every 25 games or so.
Now though? THIRTY-ONE Killers. Just off of numbers and odds alone, you won't see many of any particular Killer unless they are extremely popular like Wesker.

god survivors hitting every hyper focus skill shcek with kitted toolboxes
And all four Survivors would need to spawn separately. And they'd also need to spawn on gens.

one person each, all in the first 30 seconds of the match?
It's difficult to say without a video, but it was likely longer than 30 seconds.
It's theoretically possible it was 30 seconds, but it would take some astronomically good RNG.

@luvcraft said:
then there must've been some other reason 3 gens all went off together, while I was chasing someone.
I assume it was because they'd been working on them.

It does not.

u could play 150 hours and not even see every killer once.
You could easily never see Twins or Demo in that time.

she really feels like a killer that can't be bullied...she levels the playing field vs swf and i never thought i would say that about an m1 killer
Here's the issue.
Even with her 3-gen, she's beatable. You won't win against a good team.
However, nobody wants to waste an hour of their lives to beat a DM with an ego problem. And honestly? I don't blame them.

so which killer is healthy for the game in your opinion?
dbd is full of broken killer mechanics ( nurse/oni/twins slugging, tombstone myers, facecamping bubbas/tricksters, blight with the most busted addons, etc.) and skull merchant (and knight) seem pretty tame in comparison
Killers that get value out of playstyles are one thing. Killers that can ONLY use a single playstyle to be effective is completely different.
None of those Killers hold you in games for an hour.

I explain my rationale and nothing more.
If they want to come back and look at our convo, I want them to be embarrassed by how they acted and grateful that I chose to act courteously towards them.
If they're really toxic, you know, the DDoS'ers, the "unalive yourself in varying ways". Those types? There's no place for them in our community.

The majority of people are just quietly playing the game and not being toxic or anything. There's just a small portion of people who are very loud. A few bad apples spoil the bunch.
Not in my experience, unfortunately.
-
I think healthy hook grabs should be removed.
90% of my hours are on Killer.

And I disagree about it being a significant portion of the community. I think it's just a few. They're just really loud.
It's definitely a significant portion.

I usually just leave as soon as I'm sure my teammates are okay.
Honestly, even getting to Endgame as Survivor feels like a W nowadays

Every killer nerf/buff in 6.1.0 can be matched with a survivor nerf/buff from the same patch, with the exception of the general killer improvements. I hate to ride numbers, but kill rates went up after the patch for a reason. Only significant killer nerfs since then have been nurse nerf, eruption nerf, basekit bt buff, and solo hud which doesn't count bc we're talking about what buffs killer got to compensate for solo getting buffed, could almost say the same for eruption tbh
As you will quickly find out, they don't believe in those stats.

I find trash talking on console hilarious.
How people remain heated, after all the time and effort required to type out a message, is beyond me. I'm all for banter, but I cannot understand how people don't just delete the message before they send it. Surely the time it took them to say what they want to say was enough for them to cool down.
I use a keyboard to type on Console 😂

That I understand, but I mean now everybody has the option to start a chat unabled even if they are good players. It is frustrating to see that the community's attitude has caused this.
With the amount of racism, DDoS'ing and getting told (in varying ways) to off myself I've seen; I wholeheartedly recommend never turning on messages.
-
I think I miss the attitude of the community. It was a little more relaxed.
But I do think I just miss being younger when the game was new and it wasn't hyper competitive.
Actually, thinking about how old I was in 2016 is not something I like to do lmao
-
Map bans are a maybe. I think maybe a whole team can vote to ban one map, and the Killer can vote to ban one map.
Although, I'd like to see map offerings changed to simply prevent a map from appearing.
Killer bans are an absolute no.
-
I tried to tunnel a Team Misery member and got ######### on for almost a minute straight.
-
Anyone who has their messages turned off is doing so for a reason.
Generally, it's a pretty damn good reason because a significant portion of the community sucks.

What the hell is ‘tunnel out generators’? Someone explain what this means. I’m sure this person will have some weird-ass response I just don’t get. Lol. @Pulsar ? You’ve been here a while. Tell me
They don't like that Survivors do gens as opposed to....doing nothing, I suppose.
-
I'm still so pressed that thong Jeff didn't win two years ago
-
No, she isn't good for the health of the game.
Her most effective playstyle is to hold a game hostage until Survivors get bored. A really good team CAN beat a really good DullMerchant, the issue is that you'll be hard-pressed to find anyone willing to waste 45 minutes to beat her.
The worst part about this is that besides totem defender and 3-gens, she sucks. She's awful without those strats but her kit is entirely focused around 3-genning, so if you buff her in any way, her 3-gens get stronger.
-
Yes, they can still change Demo, unless something has changed since they last spoke about it.
-
@Toky0_Gh0ul said:
Then let's punish survivors for genrushing, as killer main i could say that the killers face camping and tunneling because they just can't fast enough get survivor befor 1 or 2 gens done and they just have to camp you because if they don't they lose. And after last update with nerfs of most important perks for stoping genrush it becomes even worse and the killers HAVE to camp you if the want to win
You do not have to camp to win.
-
@Slaphappyhobbit said:
Does no one remember when they tried to add a mechanic to punish killers who face camped and they had to remove it from the PTR because survivors abused the hell out of it? Insanely short term memories survivors here have.
Yeah, that was like 6 years ago.

Hmmm. I'm in there, I remember that.
-
I'd like to see them decrease the difference between a 4v1 and 3v1.
The game shouldn't be over after a Survivor dies. This also soft nerfs tunneling.
-
No, Father Pucci.
Those are simply the DBD rules. You will never be chased, but as soon as you equip Deliverance, the Killer will not leave you; even if they throw the match.

Only real way to get tunneling down is to make a insensitive not to tunnel. Hard merding it isn't the solution and the Devs won't do that because they already said they won't hard Nerf it....
Best suggestion I saw was to make Hook States count for something....while alos making it so they can't hook the same survivor twice to get the bonus....
This would lead sadly to clone squads of survivors to try and mess with the Killer
Personally, I'd like to see Survivors lose a bit of power at the very beginning of the game and have the 3v1 part not be so devastating.

survivors: bhvr you should nerf all antigenrush perks
bhvr:nerf all antigenrush preks
killers: without the ability to somehow physically slow down the game, begin to tunnel
survivors: why killers tunnel, probably need more nerf
Killers have been tunneling since the beginning of the game.
They do it because it's easy and effective, not because they necessarily need to.
But yes, please continue your mindless us vs them.

Do you know the story about the sun and the wind having a bet?
Give killers a huge buff for not tunneling that is better than tunneling and they won't. It's really that simple.
It really isn't.
Killers will tunnel so long as it's easy and effective.
The issue is that in order to make something stronger than tunneling, it would need to be incredibly overpowered.
There's really no substitute for getting someone out of the match.

That being miserable for a non-issue rather than contributing to the conversation is typical for the community of this game and online in general.
Spacing is important for general readability, it helps a lot of people.
