Ping got higher ingame?
Ever since this 50 mb update I started getting 130+ ping. I usually get around 95-100 on Frankfurt servers and from my experience before, whenever i get around 130 ping or higher i think that it means im getting placed into UK servers instead of Germany Frankfurt servers. Is there a reason why this is happening? Are Frankfurt servers down or something? Can anyone help out if they know anything about this issue.

My ping gone from 30-40ms to 70-80ms after the 6.7.1 patch.
My ping will be fine for portion of matches and then I'll start getting 130-150 (sometimes higher). I should be on North East US servers, no idea why it's sending me further away but really wish it wouldn't. It's not like I'm waiting awhile to get a lobby and far server is only one available, it's less than a minute wait. It's been happening for a few weeks, not just today.
@Nirgendwohin that might be the same issue that im having, instead of placing us in the servers that we are supposed to play on they send us to other servers with higher ping because they are further away from where you live.
@bm33 This might not be a server issue it could just be your internet router having lag spikes, check if you or a family member is downloading something while you play
The whole lobby will be 130-150, not just me.

Back when Blight came out that update caused all Xbox1x consoles to insta-overheat and shut down whenever DBD was started. A week later a patch fixed the issue, but my ping went from less than 40ms to 70-90 consistently. With no change in equipment or internet, and just for DBD.
It is entirely possible for an update to effect ping, especially on the consoles trying to digest their bottleneck-prone coding.
I have noticed an increase in latency lately too
yes you are correct i have also seen the entire lobby have over 100 ping in most of my games, something is off.

yes you are probably correct, i have had multiple times through the years of me playing this game where after they put out an update my ping increases 30-70 ping higher than it should be, have no clue what the hell is going on with the devs and their updates. I am on Steam btw not console just to let you know.
It's the joy of their coding I think.

From my experience each update changes my ping a bit.
I keep getting sent to EU servers, not fun for anyone involved.
