I remember now. My bad, I was wrong about it only being merciless. But the description of the achievement always specified it having to be a merciless, so :|
They could just easily change the description I agree. That couldn't be too hard.

It's the same thing with Legacy skins, while I'd support heavily for a new type of exclusive skins for the newer generation of Killers that came after, its something that'll never happen because 1. It's to respect the old players that earned those skins during when the Blood-Web was literally horrid to advance in and 2. The demand for exclusive skins doesn't exist anymore, and many people agree now that they don't want to get on during an event to get a skin that isn't obtainable anymore because people don't want to play hyper-actively to get it...
I still hold out hope for a exclusive skin during an event in the future, but that's something that just won't happen anymore unfortunately. That's why I collect event exclusive offerings now, and items for Survivors to stockpile. It's a little hobby I've done since the Hallowed Blight event (I started playing on October 1st 2018, so that's why it wasn't before that) and the highest amount of event exclusive items is my 320+ Winter Party Starter collection. I also collected the Chinese Party starters as they weren't brought back since the first Lunar event, but they kinda... ruined that since they brought them back again for the 2019 one...
Wasn't the BBQ Kate shirt and Billy hammer the last ones.
And also aren't the rewards earned through the rift/archives going to be exclusive?

The Wendigo isn't tied to Until Dawn. It is a creature that has existed for centuries. The video game just used them as their main antagonist.

I wouldn't be surprised if they re-released them in the rift. Otherwise I don't think they're coming back. The only thing I ever got was the Kate shirt. I wanted the David jacket but didn't play enough.

The thing is, new Legion outfits will likely be only for Joey. He's tied to Very Rare it seems, while Susie is Rare and the other two Uncommon and Common. And we all know at this point they only like to release Very Rare cosmetics.

I feel you. Last night I had a game where I did 2 gets and got one unhook, plus opened the door. We kinda destroyed the killer. Game was over in like 5 minutes and I didn't get chased once. I feel like I pulled my weight that game and escaped yet still lost a pip.

That was debunked wasn't it? Paulie looked into it and found that they had all followed Stephen King long before IT 2 was even out. In fact, Dead by Daylight had followed Stephen King before Not_queen. And Patricia had followed him before she was even with BHVR.

It is pretty difficult to double pip in red ranks if you don’t have certain perks. I’ll be going for adepts next rank reset.
Getting a merciless is pretty stupid because some killers just don’t double pip easily. Plague and Billy come to mind. If you kill them all you should get the trophy honestly.

I think it was more buggy then anything. A lot of times the hair would fly and can be seen across the map. They probably looked into and found that reducing the physics was the easiest way to fix the problem.

I agree. I believe they were originally changed because they bugged out too often. Which I get, however, surely there's a happy medium in there somewhere. I don't even use Jane's ponytail anymore because it's as stiff as a branch when running and looks awful. The hair looks fine, I just want more physics. @Peanits please ask the animation team if they can consider this.

It was a still a 4k after the Emblems were released. You could still get the Adept if you got a 4k, even if you were a Ruthless Killer. The devs didn't change the Adept requirements from just a 4k to Merciless Killer until 2.6.0. The achievement descriptions were never changed though. They've always said the same thing.
I wonder why they put the change in. To better reflect the description I guess? Can't they just change the description to "ruthless"? Surly that can't be hard.

Probably Urban Evasion. I love being stealthy and this just helps me accomplish it so much easier. Not to mention I'll use it in 100% of my games and it's not too situational, if at all. Very reliable perk for me. Especially since I don't wear dark clothes very often.

But that isn't really worth the change in my opinion. Especially since it's impossible, or at least close to impossible on console to even do that. Seems silly to "punish" one side for something the others can't do. I don't know.

I know. But a 4K can be really easy with an Ebony. But trying to get a Merciless in Red Ranks is way too hard with some Killers, especially with people killing themlseves on Hook (or simply not being saved by their teammates), DCs and especially the Gatekeeper Emblem.
4 Sacrificies would still be some kind of a challenge, because it cannot be "shortend" by using an Ebony, but it will not be the case that only because of the Ranking System, the Achievement will be harder to get at Red Ranks than it would be at yellow Ranks for example.
I agree. The adepts shouldn't be damn near impossible for certain killers to get at certain ranks.

It just does not make sense that Ranking Up means that the Achievement is harder to get, because you need more points. It sure is harder anyway, because the Survivors are better at High Ranks, but this should be enough.
I wouldn't have a problem if it didn't used to be just a 4k, but they changed it and that's what bothers me. DCs also count towards the achievement, or at least they used to.

Agreed. A double pip also requires a good bit of luck. Wish it wasn't as difficult as it is.

I haven't gotten one yet. Been watching for it. Now that I have made a post I am sure I will end up playing the new map nonstop for weeks on end.
I've only gotten the offering 3 times since release. I've played on the map maybe almost 10 times now, if not around 10. I remember my first 25 games or so after it dropped I didn't even play on it.

I, as well as many others complained about it. It looked like ketchup spilled on her head, not blood. Besides it looked awful with any other cosmetic except the bloody clothes. I used it with two other pieces and it looked awful when it was all red. Glad they changed it back.

After about a month I get bored and then come back on the next big update. I love this game but the core gameplay of holding M1 for several minutes gets stale and I don't know how people can play for months and months straight at a time.

I just imagine charms are gonna be a major clipfest for most of the cosmetics. And no one is gonna use them if they're locked to their default clothes.

@Peanits already explained this. They use a method where they shrink the players finger to where it's so small it disappears. The finger isn't actually being cut off. They can't do this with heads for two reasons, the different hairstyles wouldn't allow it to be done without clipping/hair sticking to survivors backs, and the fact that decapitation is banned in certain countries.

They'd have to get permission from Valve to make a direct Witch outfit for the Hag. But as the others have said I want more killers to get Hallowed Blight cosmetics. And Michael and Laurie cosmetics would be amazing.

Honestly this should be a priority over new content. My bf is colorblind and has a very hard time seeing scratch marks. He can barely even see anything on this forum because of the red and black combination.

As indie mentioned, they do sales on outfits only avaliable with cells and make them available with shards for a limited time. However this is not permanent and I doubt it will change. They do this on more popular outfits to make more money.

Nancy is definitely getting one of the ponytail outfits. Her perk icons show her in a ponytail it only makes sense.

Ehh I wouldn't say they give all streamers special treatment. Noob got banned twice for hacking I presume and they never unbanned him he just created a new account
