  • Loved all your changes, but I think it isn't enough so add this:

    1. NOED is base kit
    2. Windows deleted
    3. Dropping a pallet now damages the survivor
    4. Gens take 200 seconds to be completed
    5. If a survivors gets of a gen, it gets blocked for 5 minutes
    6. Killers can kick blocked gens
    7. Everyone now has hatches with Iridescent Head base kit (rework Huntress then)
    8. EGC timer now has only 30 seconds
    9. Hatch deleted
    10. For every META perks the survivor gets slowed down by 15%
    11. If downed survivors get instantly teleported for a hook
    12. Basement hooks instantly kills survivors
    13. Ivony Memento Mori is base kit

Only after applying 10 out this changes the game will be balanced.

  • Flashlight are bugged right now, they are aiming with the wrong angle. But outside of that you just need to practice, at the start it will be very difficult (so would not recommend battery add-ons) but with time you will get it.

  • Agreed with everything except MoM and Red Herring.

MoM it's strong when you got to use it, so he is a lot situational but not weak.

I think Red Herring is underrated, I only saw a survivor using it once, but it helped them a lot. After hooking a survivor I went to the other side of the map because of a "missed skillcheck" when I got there they got the unhook and a gen pop, I only noticed one survivor was using it when he jumped in a locker to DS me and a gen exploded at the same time. After that I tarted using it as a survivor and got the killer attention 9 out of 10 times (ALL of those killers didn't expect to have a Red Herring on the other team because of the reasons you mentioned above) so give it a try, you will laugh a lot.

  • the 32m and 24m part is practically the same in both, the live version it's shorter but in game this have no difference

the "Close" part in the PTB was awesome and scary than they changed to this HORRIBLE bass boosted version

I prefer the new "Chase" part but the PTB was so good too.

  • Omg plz delete this everyone is crying plz 30 aready killed themselves after seeing this plz listen delete this right now.

  • Arthur's returned: OP, needs a nerf.

Arthur's hat: Weak, needs a buff.

Second name is Morgan: Great perk, but I think it would be better if the killer could use it.

  • I'm not a survivor main, and I think I get frequently outplayed, BUT MY GOD TODAY I GOT 3 MATCHES IN A ROW WHERE I DIED ON THE 1st/2nd HOOK BECAUSE THERE ARE 3 CLAUDETTES WITH URBAN EVASION AFRAID OF A CLOWN.

    Ghostface, fight me

    add-on dependent

  • 1st - Spirit

    2nd - Nurse

    3rd - Freddy

    4th - Hag

  • I think this map would be very similar to a MacMillan map with the cabin having a gen inside.

  • Bubba + Freddy or Michael

  • That would be my tier list, except by Legion (I would put him higher) and Bubba (he just came out so I'm still deciding were to put him)

To be fair, any player can go reee. :D To me Legion is only farming killer. What Legion can do - punish inexperienced survivors? His power is designed only to punish mistakes. Legion is M1 after survivors get injured. Just a killer good for finding survivors and farming chases and hits.

Edit: trapper, because of surprise. My tier list is not 100% about power. Deathslinger go to 'reee' tier, because they kind of attempt to be competitive, but lack tools to assert dominance. Pyramidhead, hmm, I think he belong to 'surprise' tier. :D

    Interesting :D

I have 4 killers left that I don't have. Ghostface, Oni, Demi, and Legion. Obviously, I'm trying to decide between Oni and Ghostface. Which one is more fun?

Oni is the second most difficult killer to learn, but once you master him you will have a lot of fun, he is strong and satisfying to play with. Ghostface is add-on dependent, so you will struggle with him if you don't have one of the recovery add-ons, but he is also really fun. If you have enough shards I would recommend buying Oni first, if you don't have a lot of shards buy Ghostface and save up to buy Oni.

  • Wow that's awesome I would just move Legion to "sometime I reeeee". Idk about new Bubba but I think he can get higher, not sure.

Edit: Why is trapper that high up? And where would you put Deathsliger/ Pyramid Head?

legion is only good against bad survivors who waste time healing and stay close to eachother, if everyone split up and ignore healing and push gens he got pretty much nothing going for him no snowball no pressure nothing. Clown is not even close to F you can make a lot of fancy plays with him. Most Clown players just dont know how to use the bottles correctly

The problem with Clown is that when he throw his bottles he only gets a pallet at the face while Huntress/Deathslinger get a hit. Legion is easily one of the strongest on console and i have been getting a lot of good games on PC so far

i dont really count perks, just addons cause those are a part of the killer, perks are just there. and tombstone piece + infinite t3 would have a hella build up time. i could see where ur getting at w/ myers being higher tho. from my experience with pig ive had people search all boxes with tampered timer on like coldwind from what i remember. rng is fun

The Tombstone Piece doesn't add any time, only the Ultra rares and the hair add-ons add more time to stalk so instead of 10 seconds to get to tier 3 it would be 20 seconds and you don't need the perks, but what I'm saying is that you should'nt be counting add-ons, only the basic killer, and with this you should down Wraith and Ghostface in the list. It's difficult to build a list counting add-ons because then Demoboi would be the worst since his add-ons does nothing and Clown would be higher with that busted piny finger, so just don't count them. I agree with a lot of your opinions and your tier list is great. Also you are unlucky.

  • @Axe said:

Legion is low C. Pig High C. Clown high D/low C. These killers are good with the right setup imo

Legion high B+. Pig depends to much on RNG so she can vary. Clown Down to F-

head pop addons dont really have much use on pig imo, the addon tampered timer makes it go from 2:30 to 2:00 which is still enough time to search all boxes unless u get a really ######### mothers dwelling, i can see ur point w/ myers but the only 2 addons thatll actually make him completely different is tombstone piece (better than tombstone) and tuft of hair, thats only 2 addons though so i bumped him from C to B, stalk addons are really nice too but not completely game changing

With Myers you can go with Tombstone Piece + Infinite T3 and Infectious Fright/ Knockout/ M&A/ Corrupt Intervention, you get to tier 3, down 2 survivors and mori the 3rd, done, this is the strongest build with Myers and make him at the level of a Nurse (after the add-on nerf) with an Ebony Mori. As for the Pig its IMPOSSIBLE to get to the 4th/ 5th box while using Tempered Timer + Crate of Gears or Jigsaw Sketch respectively (assuming the key its on the last box and you are on a medium sided map), but as you said above Pig is RNG depended, so even with this build all survivors can get it on the first time, but with just the minimal luck you will have a "guaranteed" head pop in every match.

Quick and dirty one off the top of my head...

These don’t necessarily go in order from left to right.

    S: Nurse, Hillbilly

    A: Spirit, Oni, Hag

    B: Doctor, Freddy, Ghostface

    C: Huntress, Pyramid Head, Plague

    D: Myers, Wraith, Demogorgon

    E: Legion, Trapper, Clown, Pig

I left out new Bubba because it’s too early to place him and I don’t own Deathslinger so dont want to place him anywhere.

Maybe some should be moved about. Huntress, pyramid head snd demogorgon could move up a tier.

Hillbilly has a lot of counters so I would put him in A/B tier

Freddy can easily be A tier because he is very strong but unlike other strong killer he doesn't need ANY skill, you just spam polls and teleports

I would put Deathslinger in the B tier with Huntress

I think Ghostface without add-ons is C tier

As I mentioned before I whould put Legion in B or even A tier (at least on console and purple ranks on PC)

If you don't count a very good Nurse, Spirit is the best killer in the game

    Idk Bubba

Really liked your tier list too.👍️

if he's considering add-ons infantry belt + iri head huntress is pretty S tier.

Than huntress would be S+++ tier

  • SPIRIT, FRANKLIN'S DEMISE, MOTHER-DAUGHTER RING, YAKUYOKE AMULET, EBONY MORI. Or something as toxic as this.

i only have wraith up at c cause of addons but i can see wym with plague and as for legion, i have him down there mainly due to the 4 second stun after his power gauge depletes and when he hits someone he loses a bit of his power, ik addons effect the stun a bit but its still pretty hefty

If you don't have good add-ons AND good perks to wraith he is really weak, same thing with Ghostface he can only be A tier if you got one of the recharge add-ons. As for Legion the add-ons make him recover 0.2/0.4/0.6 faster which is HORRIBLE, if you combine the green and purple add-ons you reduce his main weakness by 1/4 and that is pathetic. If you are considering add-ons you can put Myers to S tier (stalk rate + duration add-ons) and put Pig to A tier (head-pop add-ons).

  • I liked this "rework" idea but I think staead of turning the honing stone kinda base kit (injured survivors goes down if they get free of the trap) mmake it so injured survivors get the Deep Wounds status effect if they get out

  • Overall this is a great tier list I would just change the Plague with the Demogorgon, Move the Wraith to "why would you play these killers" tier, and move the Legion to B+ tier. I assume you play on PC, but on console Legion is A tier and on PC I most of the time do well with him so just move him a bit, also I'm in red ranks in both platforms.

  • Trapper: Add a second mori that he can only do whle holding traps, in that mori he smacks the survivors head with the trap.

Wraith: Idk just keep that feet grabbing thing.

Pig: Explode the survivor head with some crazy mori-only trap.

    Freddy: Bruh, complete rework it.

You sure are fanboying here. Yes, not all suggestions are over the top, I give you that. But still with many perks he is just stuffing so much diffrent effects into it, without ANY downside, which would make other existing perks totally obsolete. Since you are stating swf, imagine a four men with all using his Sole survivor. Everyone splits up and does a gen 15% faster. If you can't see how busted that is, i cannot help you.

If you go to the Sole Survivor discussion you will see I was one of the first ones to critic it, but while he makes OP perks BHVR does nothing.👍️

  • Try Trapper/ BBQ/ Bitter Murmur/ any Hex perk, all of this are becoming useless, Ormond became even a more unbalanced map and A LOT of survivors are now abusing of OoO. How with 3 weeks of tests BHVR didn't thought this was a bad idea.

More like this guy pulled 16 stupidly overpowered or downright broken "changes" out of his a** without even considering how they would impact game balance. And that all in a patronizing and arrogant way it's sickening. And then he compares his "effort" with the devs, claiming he is so good in coming up with perk changes where the devs did not change any in the mean time. You do recognizes how heavily flawed that comparison is? It takes 5 minutes to come up with some crazy stupid idea, compared to like at least a day for actually implementing and testing a perk chance. Even "tweaking some number" needs some testing.

"If you don't have anything better to do just [BAD WORD] yourself but just don't add more useless text in this comments section."

Oh, the irony in this one. Which comments are more useful? My harsh critique about the OPs perk suggestions and his attitude towards the devs, or your blatant call and insult to shut me down? I wonder ...

Making any of this suggested changes wouldn't make any of this perks OP, they could became meta, but we still have a lot of much stronger options, like...what would be more OP? 4 SWF with reworked no Mither/ reworked Lucky Break/ Iron Will and DH that some people called "Unbalanced" or 4 SWF with DS/ Unbreakable/ For The People and Soul Guard? Looks like the devs prefer to nerf Knockout than buff Mind Breaker in ANY way, they just changed 2 numbers and made Tinkerer a viable perk, so why not just do this to Distressing and make it double your terror radius?

  • @DeadByMyHand said:

@Pior_Morte Thank you for the answer but the only purchased killer is the clown though but when I get a ps gift card I'll be fine. Also buying dying light is when I realized when I started playing with it the perk basically did nothing at all. So yeah you are right on that one.

Do you play on PC or PS4/Xbox? Because if you play on console you have all of the perks, Devour is from the Hag, Hex: No One Escapes Death (NOED) and Sloppy Butcher are already unlocked to every killer! The other perks I mentioned are for you to buy from the Shrine of Secrets when they became available. Also the best perk you can have on Clown It's Save The Best For Last (STBFL) so if you find it in the shrine buy it!

  • Pop Goes The Weasel/ Devour Hope/ NOED/ Sloppy Butcher.

edit: Why buy Dying Light? This perk is kinda weak, if you want a good slowdown perk take Pop (from the Clown itself), Corrupt Intervention (from the Plague), Surge (from Demogorgon) or Ruin (from the Hag).

  • Happened with me, I was playing killer and one survivor was holdind a medic-kit in the lobby, but in the match and on the endgame chat showed her holding a key.

  • @GoshJosh said:

So, we're not supposed to be allowed to alter our killer choice based on survivors picked and/or items they are carrying? Or spend bloodpoints while waiting for a match? Talk about lighting a dumpster on fire.

  • @CaulDrohn said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1470705#Comment_1470705

OK, so you got some stats about usage, nice. But you use this usage percentage to rate a perks usefullness. Which is not suitable to prove your claim that 90% perks are worthless. All it does is showing which perks are picked more often, so this ones will be the meta perks. But just because a perk is not picked so often does not make it inherently bad. There are just other perks deemed better. This approach is suitable to prove thjat 10 % of the perks are meta and useful, but that does not automatically imply that the other 90% are not. And if the meta should really change someday, this effect likely would still be the same, that 20% of the perks are used in 80% of the matches (see Pareto principle).

After Care for example is a really good perk, which will allow you to see at least one other survivor for the most part of the trail, without a max range. You just loose it again when hooked, but since you normally need another one to rescue you, you will see that one again. Only at the start, when you didn't heal or unhook someone, or when you unhok yourself, will you NOT have any benefit from it. Esp. when you see all three, it gives you so much information. Since the others see you as well, you can even try to contest gens when only two surfs are left. Sure it may not be needed with SWF, and bond or empathy may be better in general, but by no means I would rate this perk "worthless".

Dance with me is great together with Q&Q or Lithe (or both). On it's own it's meh, but together with these others it allows you to escape chases really good, the killer thinking you just vanished. "But it doesn't work on its own!" Sure, but it's more or less the same for Unbreakable and DS. Unbreakable on its own is not so great, since normally you wouldn't be left on the ground. But the mere existance of DS gives you more possibilities to use it.

So I ask you again, which perks are REALLY useless? Something like Up the Ante totally is. Red Herring or Diversion are really just for memes. And many other rarely used perks are really underwhelming. But thats far from 90% of all perks, I assure you! Many of the rarely used perks you need to utilize in a some way compared to the meta i-don't-need-to-do-anything-and-still-get-the-effect perks. It's not the fault of the perks, imo, but the laziness or lack of creativity with many survivor players. Together with the (skewed) view that DS or BT are strictly necessary bc of Campers / Tunnelers. Sure they exist, but I would argue that quite a few players enforce tunneling and camping bc of their playstyle, playing overly aggressive with DS or doing unhooks in the killers face bc of BT. They equip perks to help them in bad situations they are creating themselves bc of the equipped perks. A feedback loop, if you will. Sure, NOT ALL play this way. But it's really common to experience a person being unhooked just seconds after the hooking, and thats only possible bc of BT. It is not used to counter a camper at all, but to make bold (or idiotic) move.

My ######### God he is just suggesting some changes, BHRV can simply change numbers to make perk viable but she does at a such slow rate, they tweaked 4 perks in 2 months this guy completely changed 16 in 3 weeks. If you don't have anything better to do just ######### yourself but just don't add more useless text in this comments section.

I love playing everyone except him and the nerf didn't help

  • @ZephanUnbound said:

    In order of importance:

    1. DS (needs a nerf)
    2. Moris (should only work on death hook)
    3. NOED (needs a nerf)

I don't think any of the rest of these are issues.

    1. DS
    2. Moris
    3. Keys
    4. NOED
    5. Iri Head
  • Remove them. 🏄‍♀️

Is this a joke or you just messed up the poll?

  • (6) Give hatchets to every killer, Iridescent Head is base kit (and then rework Huntress to be something else).

  • Déjà Vu: I think you could buff it more, because it whould only be a worst version of Windows of Opportunity. Also you forgot to put the two accents.

Predator: It would make the perk a viable choice, also this could be countered by Fixated making them have a cool interaction.

I really hope that BHVR read all of your ideas and make some changes to this perks

  • IDK it will be gay anyway

  • This doesn't make playing killer more fun, you sound like a survivor main that got tunneled and now thinks that this game is to killer sided.

    1. Freddy is strong because he don't require any skill. For Nurse, Hillbilly, Oni you have a HUGE skill gap, for Freddy you just spam pools and teleports, also he's lunge should be reduced by 99%
    2. Deathslinger isn't powerful, just frustrating to play against. He can be strong if the player know how to play with him, but in most cases the player is just lucky.
    3. The biggest problem that Ph had, was that he could see the cages, now he is in a ok position.

I'm not a killer main, but i think this changes are unnecessary.

No, it’s broken. The injured state from a game mechanic stand point is meant to assist the killer in tracking. If Lucky Break were permanent in this kind of perk combo, then the killer has ZERO additional ways to track, and makes being injured have NO downside other that 1 more hit, AND the survivor still has the freedom to be healed back to healthy.

Unlimited no bleeding is too broken from a balanced tracking point of view.

This is not broken, the killer can still track you by scratch marks and other sounds (like the steps sound) this build would be good but not nearly as much as some current builds like, DS/ Sprint Burst/ Borrowed time/ 4th meta perk. This changes would make this perks became a lot more viable but not overpowered.

  • The new matchmaking didn't even get out

    what is this post

  • Up the Ante: Awesome idea, never though about that, it would be awesome to see two guys kobeing after you activated cash in, but you should only be able to use it while standing still because of DH, Divertion, For The People...

Insidious: This perk needs to be reworked and you had a great idea to make it a chase/stealth perk.

  • Bond while in SoloQ and DH while in SWF (also that's a toxic build)
