Imagine thinking a Christmas event, that like you said, is literally a background, hooks etc etc, and nothing more than a giant cosmetic...is more important than fixing game issues.
The sweaters are great. They don't owe you anything in terms of events.
Like I said, it's not really an event, just a nice thing in the background, but whatever.

I think having unique characters is better than just skins. Not to mention skins work differently in IDV than in DbD. In IDV you equip one skin and that's it, in Dbd you can mix and match pieces to your liking. For example, if we got a Jason skin for trapper, it would be odd seeing the Jason body with the trapper mask or the Jason mask with a trapper cosmetic etc.
I think having characters be unique instead of just skins is better but that's just my opinion

Correct but working on an event won't help that. It might even make it worse.
It's not even really an event though. It's just a lobby background with music and lights on lockers, hooks and barrels on the maps. How could they break something by adding a few simple things that dont interfere with gameplay. Game wasnt really bugged last year and the year before that when they added it

I have my xmas sweaters and santa clown from last year i bought. I was hyped to roll out them out and play and i just won't now. I'm not in the mood.
I hate being so negative towards BHVR lately but damn everything is so lame Halloween and Christmas got nerfed!
That's exactly how I feel. I was hyped to wear the sweaters and the festive skins because the lobby, music and lights just kind of got me into that mood. Without them, to me it just feels pointless. That's just me though

I was really excited for it to come back. Since I started playing on console they did it for the past two years and it was small but it was still nice to have. Now it's just sad that they cant put lights on stuff and change the theme and background. At least for Halloween we kinda had an ambiance.
I still cant get over it, I was really looking foward to seeing the snow and lights back :(

If we're talking about dbd dream date, it would be with David. Maybe a nice dinner too to go with it but I wouldnt really care where.
As for fantasy date.....someone I personally know irl, and it would just be playing video games together and watching movies on the couch eating cookies and just cuddling together. *sigh* funny right?

I joined in May of 2018 if I remember correctly. It looked and felt so different back then. So much has happened since then and it's been cool seeing the game and forum grow.
Some notable forum events:
The Clown PTB announced with the old Hatch Closing (which didn't start egc, it just left the survivor to die or do gens)
People calling Spirit trash on release and other people saying her character was offensive

Looks cool, wish the hair would have blood in it tho, it looks off compared with everything else. I might go for it if there's a double bp event but if not I might just leave him at lvl 50

While stranger things has some nice perks, cursed legacy has a better killer, alrightish perks and I personally find Oni much more fun than Demo-doggo. That's my personal insight

I dislike never knowing what to get people, like I want to get them something but I never know what so I always end up feeling like my gift just isnt good enough
Favorite thing is the time off. It's nice having that break at the end of the year

If you're on ps4, at the end of the year they'll send you how many hours you have in your top most played games, and if this is one of em, you'll see it. Idk about xbox tho and switch tells you how many hours you have too

Agreed, at first he felt weird to play but it took a little getting used to. I'm still having trouble trying to flick cause I've heard it possible on console, just harder, but he's been super fun!

I've played a bit with mew Spirit, nothing noteworthy that changed for me. I dont like the post phase tho, I come out of it and come to a complete stop, feels really weird. Hope it's a bug

The events lasted like around 1-2 weeks if I remember correctly. It was just hooking survivors on special hooks and stuff for killers and completing special gens for the survivor side. It was a little bit of a pain due to people going out of their way to stop you from completing your stuff but besides that it was ok. Maybe they'll bring back the cosmetics someday.

I am 100% sure the survivor cosmetics I've seen were the cosmetic ones and the killer ones I own are the event ones as well. Here are some older screenshots of my billy with the hammer and my huntress with the hound mask on ps4

Really? I've seen Kate's with the summer top and David's with the howling grounds shirt. The cosmetics themselves arent really that popular anymore tho. They were made at a time before the store and the Hallowed blight which really shook up how events in the game work, not to mention there's better options in the store and most people go with those over the event ones.

Ps4 player here, those event skins are in fact on the console version of the game, I own the Billy hammer and Huntress mask. Switch doesnt have em but xbox and ps4 do.
As for the cosmetics themselves, I like that I earned them by playing and I get to show off that I played during that time but hey, others should be given the chance to have it as well. Maybe if they want to keep the exclusivity of it to differentiate them from the people who earned it and the people who were given it those who earned it by playing could get a bloody prestige version of it? Everyone would have the cosmetics but people who played the event and earned them get a cool prestige of it. Would that be possible @Peanits ?
